Dog Sitters in Little Snoring

Due to a family emergency, I had to leave the country earlier than I had planned, and needed a sitter to fill in the gap between my departure and another sitter. Michele responded within minutes of my posting the sit, and then we spoke and confirmed the sit within hours. Her husband, Israel, was coming from Mexico to France, while she and her kids were to come from Sweden. When Michele’s travel plans changed, and she wouldn’t be able to come with her children, she assured me that Israel would still come to look after the house and dogs. To do this, for a stay of only five days, he flew to Paris, and then to the south of France, where he rented a car and drove the rest of the way to my place. As I was already traveling, the previous sitters filled him in on the various things that needed to be tended to: caring for two dogs, tending to hens, watering 90 young olive trees daily, as well as other things. The place is big and it took me 3-4 weeks when I first moved in to figure out where things were and what to do. Israel mastered everything upon his arrival, sent me daily updates with photos of my two VERY happy dogs. In addition to all the upkeep, he managed to hike with the dogs daily. I arrived home to find everything perfectly maintained, two fit and and Israel’s guest house cleaner than it was when he arrived. Immaculate. I cannot even express my gratitude for to both Michele and Israel for such a sacrifice and commitment to do that for me. It was a very difficult time, as I was dealing with the loss of both my son and my mother. I did not worry for one second while my dogs and home were in Israel’s hands. Thank you both, so, so much. You’re welcome back anytime, with the entire family, even just for a visit, maybe just a well-deserved holiday, with no dog- or house- sitting!

Maryna was an excellent pet sitter and houseguest! Communicating with her was easy, and she always responded to my messages quickly. She was also incredibly self-sufficient! Moreover, Maryna graciously agreed to check on my neighbor's cat for a couple of days as well. My dog bonded with her quickly and was happy and healthy when I returned. The house was also spotless. I would happily have Maryna sit for me again!

Joe and Casey were very easy going and reliable. We organised the sit way in advance with a video chat and we had adequate communication leading up to the sit. We handed over the house and animals after a fairly swift explanation of everything. Being experienced sitters Joe and Casey didn't need us to over explain anything (hopefully they felt the same) and we could see very quickly that they were animal lovers. They asked us how much communication we needed whilst away and we said "no news is good news". So we received just the right amount of updates along with the most adorable photos and reassuring words about all the animals. It was clear that they quickly understood the character of each of the animals. We forgot to mention that Tipper likes to dig dirt beds around the garden which creates quite a mess and it was obvious that these were kept under control. The garden and pool were well cared for. We enjoyed a relaxing couple of weeks away knowing that the animals were being loved and the dogs definitely looked for Joe and Casey when we arrived home. Our pets, home and garden were well respected and cared for and we would not hesitate to invite Joe and Casey to sit for us again.

Denise was by far the best pet sitter we have ever had! She watched our two pups while we were gone for 3 weeks and took amazing care of our dogs and home. She took the time to ask questions and make sure she understood each dog’s needs as well as how to take the best care of our house before we left. She sent videos everyday updating us on how the pups were doing. We were so happy to see how much quality time she was spending with them and how much they loved her. Our dogs were so sad to see her leave and we can’t wait to have her back. Denise made sure that the house was in perfect condition when she left and treated our home as if it were her own. If you are looking for a pet sitter, look no further. Highly recommend Denise!

Diane and Les were excellent pet and house sitters. Jet was a very happy dog when we returned and Diane had shared many photos of their days together while we were away on holiday. The house was very clean and tidy when we returned and some milk , bread and sweet treats had been left for us, which were very welcome after our 2 long flights home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Diane and Les as sitters for your home and pets, everything was done to a high standard and Jet was happy in his usual environment , which is all we wished for. Cindy was great, couldn’t have asked for a better sitter experience! Communication was great both before and during the sit. Cindy was really helpful and flexible with arrival and departure arrangements. I came back to a happy dog and a well cared for house, can thoroughly recommend 🙂

Joanna and David were wonderful sitters for our dog Broderick and our apartment. Before starting to sit for us they took time to come and meet Broderick which we were very appreciative of. During their time sitting for Broderick we got great updates every day and wonderful photos of our pup, and they were very responsive whenever needed. When we got back home we found a happy puppy, healthy plants, and a spotlessly clean apartment - they had even taken the time to wash sheets and towels and left us a kind thank you note. We would have them sit for us again in a heartbeat!

Amara was a WONDERFUL sitter for our home and our dogs for the weekend. We were so comfortable with her being in our home, and she provided regular updates and photos of our babies. I was fortunate to have Lisa as a sitter for my active, 7-year old lab mix (Ozzy) for a week in Bend.   Lisa took the time to meet us via Facetime and in person before her stay.  It was apparent she wanted to be well-prepared and aware of any special doggie needs he may have, or any help I needed with watering plants or bringing in mail.   She took great care of Ozzy while I was away and sent me regular updates and photos of their outdoor adventures.  I returned home to a very happy dog and a house exactly as I had left it.  I'd welcome Lisa back anytime!

Angela was fantastic.  She came a day early to meet us and our dog Bella and to get the lay of the land and we so enjoyed meeting her and getting to know her!  She took care of our home and Bella with the utmost care and attention.  She was great to communicate with throughout the sit and we felt confidant being away knowing our dog and home were in such good hands! We returned to a clean house and she even prepared dinner for us!  It was clear that Bella was happy, well taken care of and very fond of her!!  We would definitely recommend Angela.  She was a reliable sitter and a delightful person all around!!
