Dog Sitters in Llanybri

Since we got our current dog, we've always known he'd be staying at these facilities for our summer holidays, despite that it's over 2 hours' drive one way. We've known Jacqui and Darren for some years through our previous dog. We've witnessed first hand their professional and knowledgeable approach to dogs, their needs and behaviour. These are well-run boarding kennels, with professional staff. We had full confidence leaving our dog there for just over two weeks. He came back very contented, chilled out, and in pristine condition. Highly recommended.

I’m really happy I’ve found this kennels as it’s the perfect place to put our dog if we ever go away. Our 1yr old Cavapoo Lilly had never been to kennels before and stayed here for a couple of days. We were nervous to leave her but have to say we were really pleased! She came back to us clean and happy and there were no problems. I would definitely recommend Waunbricks and I’m sure we will be using this kennels again when needed.

We were delighted to have found Waunbricks - and a place for our dog to stay in the future. We couldn’t have been more reassured by Jacqui’s confident and efficient manner. It’s never easy leaving a dog in kennels, but thankfully, the staff made it easier and he wasn’t anxious or stressed, when we collected him. He was his usual happy self. Wonderful people ,experienced in all aspects of dog welfare,training . Competent friendly staff. Our three dogs just had 12 days there. Came out happy, well fed. Wouldn't trust our dogs with anyone else. Personally know dogs are all walked in the surrounding countryside every day. Spotless kennels. Shop for pet stuff.

Our lurcher was kennelled for the first time for a few nights. I think she was well cared for. On collection she was smelling clean and fresh. Thank you for taking care of Bess

Could not recommend the new owners. My dog was returned with food he should have been given during his stay, dirty and constipated from holding himself. His bedding was wet with urine and stinking with air freshener to cover it up.

Kennelled my 1 yr old lab here with no issues. He seemed to be ok there and came home happy

This is a very high standard and top quality kennel that really cares for the dogs they look after. Very impressed and my little man had a great time there.

Amy has been a great find for us with our two golden retrievers. She treats them with lots of love and cuddles, and they get the full home experience still without us. One of our goldens suffered an FCE two years ago which means she requires extra care including expressing her bladder and dealing with her bowel incontinence (easily managed - sounds worse than it is), but Amy was happy to help and learnt quickly what was required. She also helped with a sore that Brandy has on her foot and is a continuous effort to try and heal, we noticed a real improvement when we got back from holiday which I am sure is down to Amy caring for her and making sure it didn’t got untreated. We have used Amy on 3 holidays (2 last year and 1 this year, and we have another coming up next month). She always leaves the house immaculate and its nice to get greeted with the picture and video updates when you’re missing your pups. Thanks so much Amy for your care of our two.

Amy is absolutely amazing, a real animal person. So very caring and extremely knowledgeable about all animals, in fact knowledgeable about most creatures. She sent us regular pictures, posts and updates and always messaged with any concerns and her suggestions as to how to remedy them. My dogs absolutely love her which is very reassuring especially as one of my babies is very dubious about new strangers. I have had my first ever totally relaxed, stress free holiday in a long time and that was all down to knowing my animals are being so well cared for. Amy also cared for our sheep too including fly treatment and spraying antibacterial spray etc She is truly amazing and I highly recommend her for all your animal needs. The added bonus is my house was in safe hands too. Thank you so much Amy and we are looking already at our holidays for next year 😊👍🏼🥰

Amy has been popping in for my boys for well over a year now and she is honestly amazing. I had so much anxiety about leaving my boys at home while I went back to work. But Amy have relived them all. Our first time using Amy to take care of our small tribe of animals - 2 dogs, 1 cat and our fish. We felt so at ease leaving our beloved pets with Amy and even better at our own home so that they felt at ease too. Amy looked after our pets as if they were her own and went above and beyond to get inside our when my husband left the house without leaving spare house keys!! Merryl came and looked after our two very spoilt dogs last weekend. Never having met her before apart from a video call I was a bit apprehensive, but all my reservations immediately disappeared as soon as she arrived. My parson Russel terrier is very highly strung and needs attention all the time , and my little Jack Russel was a rescue dog so is very nervous on meeting new people , but both dogs took to Merryl straight away . Merryl sent various photos of the dogs having playtime and when they were resting so I felt reassured that they were settled in her care . I would not hesitate to recommend Merryl to look after your fur babies and your home ❤️

Merryl has sat for us a few times now and as always, does a fantastic job looking after our two fur baby cats. A reliable, trusted and professional service is always delivered and we are always able to completely enjoy our time away knowing our cats are being well looked after. Amazing service. Merryl sat for us for 2 weeks whilst we were away and did an excellent job at looking after our home and two house cats. She arrived early to understand more about our babies' routines and had video called prior to that to introduce herself. Merryl was very dependable and made us feel very calm during our trip, sending updates every so often so we knew our cats were OK. We will definitely leave our cats with Merryl again and recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter. Our home was also well cared for and it was amazing to leave our home and cats in Merryls care knowing that they were safe.

We were nervous about having a dog sitter looking after our precious little dogs, Rita & Lula, who are only 18 months old. It was our first time away from them and we really wanted to ensure they would be well cared for. We had visited boarding kennels, but knew that was not an option for us!!! Leaving the girls in their own home, was by far the best solution! After some research we were recommend Running Duck Pet Services. We were advised that Merryl would be our dog sitter and as soon as we met her, we knew the girls would be well cared for. Whilst away, we had a daily update from her, which was very reassuring. It put our minds at rest and enabled us to relax and enjoy our holiday, knowing they were happy. We have already booked Merryl for next year too and would definitely recommend the Running Duck Services!!

Merryl came to look after our dog Skye and elderly cat Fluffy for the weekend. We were so pleased with the care and attention she gave to them both. Merryl also looked after our home, which was spotless upon our return. Thank-you so much, we knew both of our much loved pets were in very safe hands. This made the weekend for us even more enjoyable.

It's been so easy to organise our pet sitting requirements - everyone was very helpful and worked hard to understand and meet our specific needs. Merryl was great and really friendly - we have a very anxious dog, but she was able to win him round with a calm and unfussy approach. Would definitely recommend and would use again.

It was so lovely to know our 4 legged family were being cared for lovingly whilst we were away on holiday. Communication, before, during and after was exemplary, and we returned early evening to all our pets having had all their cares completed and a spotless house. Thank you so much Merryl. Our Lurcher Bryn goes for regular Daycare at Barkers. OK, I have to admit Bryn is the loveliest dog in the world, so of course he could be marked out for special attention but he is treated just the same as all others there. Like Royalty! It's the most amazing place for dogs. In fact I would love to go there be be treated so well in such gorgeous surroundings. This is a photo the owner sent me after his day there today. When we finally get to organise a holiday away for us, there is no doubt where he will be going! Barkers!!

We couldn’t have been happier with the care our puppy received. It was a big step for us to use day care, but Barkers were friendly and reassuring. Dougie had a great day, Helen sent photos during the day and at the end of the day sent an amazing video compilation of his day! Dog paradise! Barkers look after your dog like its their own. Everything that your dog wants from the amount of walks they've got on their land to the indoor play area incase it's too wet to take the dogs out is designed with dogs in mind. Absolutely perfect safe and happy place for dogs. I wouldn't take mine anywhere else.

This business is the bee's knees of dog care. Our 7mth old retriever puppy has had wonderful care there, both at day care and overnight. His behaviour has improved in leaps and bounds and he is learning how to play properly and that we are his owners, not other dogs! His respectfulnness has increased. The girls who look after him are fab, end of! Can't recommend them highly enough.

This must be the best place ever to leave your furry friend. @choco_gina loves it here. Her auntie Helen spoils her rotten, games In the dog barn, walks in the woods, furry pals to play with, curled up by the Aga. Gina says her fur mom and dad can go away and know she will be looked after better than any kennels.

Barkers is the most amazing place my dogs absolutely love it there and they come home happy and content and eager for their next play day.

We were looking for boarding kennels for our 2 Husky cross dogs and wanted somewhere with experience of large breed dogs. It is the first time they have been in kennels and we were a bit anxious but the kennels were fantastic. We visited with our dogs before hand and the kennels are immaculate, the pens are large and have a sleeping area & an outside area. Our dogs were in the same pen so there was no worry of them being anxious of separation. They were walked & were very well looked after. Amanda and Claire are friendly and have an excellent knowledge of dogs. We will be boarding our dogs with them again and definitely recommend them.

I put my dog to stay with best friends k9 hotel from the 20th - 24th of December 24. Staff were extremely lovely. My dog who doesn't normally like other dogs was kept kept separate to others at all times but seemed really relaxed and happy even with hearing all the other dogs. The facilities were extremely clean and all dogs looked really well cared for. And a sweet little extra they made up little christmas jars of treats for the dogs to take home. My dog loves them :) would definitely use again. Thank you all

This was the first time I had to leave my 3 collies in any kennels and I was very nervous about it, especially when one of them just had been neutered and was still in recovery. We had an emergency which demanded that we go to France for 5 days. I explained about the patient to the very kind ladies Amanda and Claire and they were so understanding about keeping a special eye on Carlie and her wound and stiches. The kennels are very wide. We had 2 collies in one and the patient on her own in another, next to the other two. The kennels were in fact in two parts. The''bedroom'' facing the corridor, and the ''lounge'' which overlooked the fields. The bedroom part was heated and kept semi dark to enable sleep. We left details of medicines and diet habit. Everything was followed to the letter. The two ladies are very knowledgeble about dogs and very caring. The dogs were happy to see us of course, but they were not phased by their stay and I think would not have minded too much if they had to stay longer. My first time in kennels for my fur babies has been a good experience with Best Fiends K9 hotel and I would not hesitate to bring my doggies to them again, I would recommend them very highly. The only bad bit is the road leading to the kennels needs a lot of TLC which I am sure will be sorted in due course.

Very efficient and clean with top notch facilities and care. Our 2 dogs have stayed a couple of times now and we will certainly be using Best Friends again at some point in the not too distant future.

The team here are great, our girls settle every time they visit and we know they're well looked after. We were nervous about how they might cope because one of our dogs is a rescue but they put our minds at rest and nothing is too much for the team!

We have a nervous Lab and an extremely stupid Lab and they absolutely loved their stay. Treats provided, walks across open farm land, warm and cosy kennels. Definitely recommend!!!

This place is fantastic! Having tried many over the years, this one stands miles above the rest. It's always impeccably clean, the customer service is exceptional – they've been incredibly accommodating whenever I've needed to make changes to my bookings. Most importantly, my dogs genuinely seem happy there, which is quite a feat considering one of them is usually hard to please. They appear calm, and their routines must be well-maintained, as we haven't noticed any behavioral changes like we have at other kennels.

Totally made to feel at ease about leaving my dog there, I was so anxious that she would hate it but she was so content when I picked her up. I will be using K9 kennels again in the future. Excellent service.

We recently got our cocker spaniel from Riverview and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very first contact, it was clear that they are passionate and knowledgeable about the breed. They were incredibly responsive and transparent, providing detailed information about the puppy’s background, health checks, and care. The facilities were spotless and well-maintained, and it was clear that the puppies were raised in a loving, nurturing environment. Our cocker spaniel is not only adorable but also has a wonderful temperament, a testament to the breeder’s dedication to responsible breeding practices. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a healthy puppy with good temperament.

We bought a small Poodle from here 18mth ago, he's been a gem from the start a proud little man so friendly affectionate obedient and intelligent he's just adorable .We are so happy with him. Elaine and Hywel are caring and very helpful.

I have known Steph many years when she was a practicing Vet nurse. There are very few people that I would I trust to look after my two Greyhounds Poppy & Monty. Steph, Chris & Chile, their Chihuahua, did an amazing job, every day sending us updates & photos. It was the first time we had left our hounds & will certainly be asking Steph & Chris to house & dog sit again. Jackie, Jeff, Poppy & Monty Marsden.

We do not recommend Four Walls Four Paws and would urge anyone considering using their services to look elsewhere. Steph and Chris pet sat in our home in January, while there, they dropped a boiling potato which our dog picked up and ate (while yelping in pain). They did not inform us and did not seek veterinary advice. We only found out when we returned home a week later. Instantly we could see our dog had lost weight (over 20% of his body weight), and was in pain while eating. So we contacted Steph and Chris saying we'd be taking him to the vet and asked them to open an insurance claim with their insurance company. They refused to open an insurance claim, and from then onwards they were insincere, unprofessional and their story kept changing. This was shocking and upsetting, as we had previously thought they were good, caring people, but this situation brought out their true colours. Unfortunately our dog was, and still is, extremely unwell, we had to be referred to a specialist and were advised to pay directly through Four Walls Four Paws insurance due to the high cost of this, and again they refused to provide their policy number so the vetenary hospital could do this, in fact they then informed us their insurance was capped at £1250 which anyone who owns a dog will know is absolutely no amount at all! They did tell us that they would open an insurance claim and that I would be named as the recipient on this claim, yet another lie. We had to chase payment and only partial payment came directly from their account, not the insurance company. Throughout the process their unprofessionalism continued to get worse, they had no empathy for our dog or us, with an horrendously insensitive and rude message sent from Chris, apparently while out drinking, during which our incredibly unwell dog needed medical care around the clock and we had literally been told the day before that he could die. Our dog has been left with life long issues, and he's still receiving medical intervention 4 months on. The impact this has had on our and our dogs life is huge, and will continue for years and years.

Woody and Dora love being looked after by FWFP. Woody can be a nervous boy and so I hate the thought of him and Dora going into kennels. We have used Steph, Chris and Chilli twice now for house / pet sitting and Woody and Dora could not be happier or more relaxed. The pictures of them sofa snuggling with Chris and Steph are so reassuring, Woody can be nervous, to see him so relaxed is perfect. Thoroughly recommend FWFP to anyone (and Chilli is soooooo cool 😊).

My dog had a wonderful time with Steph, Chris and Chilli whilst I was away for a few days. It's such a reassurance to know your pets are being looked after so well when you are away, and I can't even express how grateful I am to all of them for being such fantastic sitters! Communication has been great all the way through, from the very first point of contact. They really took time to understand Ruby's needs and her routine and make sure she was happy and comfortable for the whole stay, which she definitely was! They left my house in top condition too, everything was in order and clean which meant I could just relax and rest after a long day of travelling, which has been a great way to be welcomed back. I would 100% recommend getting in touch with them should you need a sitter to look after your pets. Just came back from our long haul trip and can't thank Fourwallsfourpaws enough! We hadn't been away for 5 years since adopting our loving but boisterous rescue dog. They didn't just look after our home & our boy but they gave him the one on one care that he needed which allowed us to enjoy our holiday worry free which has now given us the confidence to make more future travel plans as we know we can leave everything in their exceptional care. They really went the extra mile on so many things, amazing service!

Baileys Doggy Day Care exceeded our expectations! Leaving our dog for the first time made us anxious, but all worries vanished as soon as we saw how much fun Buster was having. He enjoyed playing with other dogs and going for walks by the river. The staff put our minds at ease, and Buster was so content that he slept all the way home. Highly recommend this place for a happy dog and peace of mind!

Sian and Nathan are amazing - we have had expert advice and tips for our puppy and the results have been outstanding. We are thrilled with our experience and inspired to continue the training journey. The expertise that Sian and Nathan have shared with us has always been clear and concise, they both clearly love dogs and pay such close attention to both dog and owners behaviours to achieve the best outcome. This lovely couple of Muddy Mutz are extremely dedicated to understanding you and your dogs needs. I contacted them last year and saw them until Christmas 2021, with behavioural issues with my pup. We had 1.1 sessions which were very informative and have helped us a lot. Thank you both!

Watched their first session with a large reactive dog and very impressed by trainers attitude and the immediate effect was impressive. The owners have continued the training and are gaining. Muddy Muttz offer a bespoke, tailored service at a very reasonable price. They have responded with advice tailored to our circumstances and the changing behaviour of our puppy as it rapidly grows in experience. Muddy Muttz have responded quickly, even over the weekend when we needed advice about how to introduce the puppy to a friend's blind cat! An excellent, friendly and expert service directed precisely to our puppy's training needs.

Sian and Nathan are great. They came to our home to assess some anxiety/frustration behaviours we were struggling with. Freya is 7 months old now, she is clever, sweet, empathetic, loving… but struggles to calm down if she gets excited. And recently she seems to get excited quite easily! More than training the dog I think they were training us to be her handlers. And it was so much needed. We are not new to training sessions at all but they did a whole family/routine assessment of the situation, which was new to us. They were very understanding of our own concerns, worries and needs and adapted the session to our own goals, teaching us how to teach the dog. Just perfect!

We have really enjoyed going along to the puppy classes. We have learnt so much and it has hopefully given Meg a really great start to her life with our family. You only have to see how Meg responds to Sian and Nathan to know that they are really training us not the puppy! Their techniques work so well and we will definitely be signing up for more classes in the future.

We have been taking our Springer Spaniel puppy to dog training with Muddy Muttz since November, 2017. We are impressed by Sian's calmness with the puppies. She does not have large classes 8 is the maximum as it allows for lots of one to one attention. I have noted the training is not only for the puppies but for the owners too, which is exceedingly helpful. We endeavour to practice the things learned between classes. We are now in the adult class although our pup is just 7 months old but she responds well and it is a great safe place to socialise your dog. We decided to continue as we learn something new each week and the benefit to both ourselves and our puppy is huge. We would not hesitate in recommending Muddy Muttz and Sian Perry. Just Brillliant

i have attended workshops and obedience classes with muddy muttz training i have found them to be brilliant. Sian and Nathan are both great very knowledgeable and quaified they really undertsand dogs and they are very personable. they take the time to focus on what each dog in the classes needs and theyre happy to answer any questions you have. i would recommend the workshops and classes to anyone they are great value for money and my dog really enjoys them they have been so helpful.

Really great trainers, very patient, calm, gentle and understanding both of the owner and the dogs needs! Did a house visit which was very helpful as saw the dogs in their own environment, explained everything carefully and followed up with written instructions and are available to call if we need additional advice. Fantastic help and "service". Invaluable in our circumstances where a stray cat adopted us and we had insufficient time to arrange vet treatment prior to a holiday. Unusual situation as we have an open building in progress and his arrival and departure are uncertain - e.g. 28 days there and 10 days not. Persistence on Pawsome's part paid off and knowledgeable and caring attitude was apparent - even took the trouble to send us pics to allay our concern. Great personality as well.
