Looking forward to meeting you & your furry family! :)
Cara was a lovely pet sitter for Roxy. The house was very clean and tidy when we returned and Roxy was relaxed. Cara committed only a couple days before we left and it was a seamless sit. Recommend!

Furbaby Gramma and Grampa on the move. Let us take care so you can have fun!
Christine was just a wonderful sitter for our sweet Sadie. She can be a challenge, Aussie and Border Collie, but t seemed like she was well under control and everyone had a good time. Our neighbors commented on the frequency of her walks. Thanks for everything.

Mature and Responsible Family of Four - From Our Farm to Your Door! =)
David and Pam and the boys could not have been any more wonderful! They took excellent care of our senior dog Sam, took him for walks and paid a lot of attention to him. I think he was sad when they left. We also had 5 cows and 2 donkeys who appreciated their attention. They left our home in immaculate condition, and Pam had baked us a loaf of sourdough bread to enjoy upon our return. I love that David communicated with us regularly, sent updates and pics daily. We are very grateful that the McIntires traveled all the way from Pennsylvania to care our home and dog and livestock! They are the best!!

Experienced, Honest, Responsible. Will love your fur babies like my own.
Jennifer and Jeff are a wonderful couple who took extremely good care of our house and pups while we were away for daughter's wedding. They arrived the afternoon prior to our leaving so we could show them around town and also give them the pups' feeding sked and routine. Jenn provided several updates while we were gone to assure us all was well. We arrived back home to find everything in perfect order, beds made, pups happy, even a "thank you' card for us! We really enjoyed meeting them and hope they keep us in mind for some future sits. Don't get a dog, Jeff! Just come and watch Rosco and Roxy!

Active professionals ready to love your pets like they're our own!
Elissa and Chris did a great job taking care of our home and our pets while we were away. They were even kind enough to send us pictures when our butterfly emerged from its chrysalis and asked if there was anything they needed to do with it. They were tidy and even removed the sheets and comforter from the bed so we could easily clean and remake the bed on our return. Would definitely have Elissa and Chris again if our schedules align.
Kelly was an excellent sitter for us. She communicated well, before the sit and during the sit. When we got home, the dogs and our guinea pig were happy and well. Kelly was dependable and showed up exactly on time. The house was well maintained and clean when we arrived home. We would definitely host Kelly again.
Cleo is a very lucky puppy dog to have been cared for by Matt & Lisa! We’ve had quite a few sitters over the last 2 years with TH, and I have no reservations saying that they were the best! First, communication was fabulous from the start. They put me at ease before they ever got here. Throughout the sit, there were regular updates and pictures. They were so very attentive to Cleo, and even ventured out with her on trail walks (Cleo’s favorite thing in the world). They handled her medications with no problem. It was obvious that my nervous pup was at ease and loved them, as she ended up sleeping with them! I’d have Matt & Lisa again in a heartbeat, and would recommend to anybody!
Angela Gandolfo and Erica Piazza came to stay at our house while we were away on vacation for two weeks. Our two dogs are a handful, but these two lovely women took such good care of them. They spoiled them even more than we do, which is perfect. We got photos every day, and when we came home our house was tidy and there were clean sheets on the bed. I couldn't have asked for better house and pet sitters than these two women. They communicated well with us, and if they had questions, they asked. It was a pleasure to work with both Angela and Erica. We had to cut our vacation short because of a death in the family. It was really stressful, but once again, Angela and Erica were flexible and understanding. It made a difficult time easier, knowing that things at home were being managed so well. I'm hoping that if we ever have to go away again for such a long time, I will be able to get these two back here again! (hint hint) Thank you, Angela and Erica!
Liz was a fantastic sitter for our boys and took great care of our home. She was a great communicator and kept us informed of what was happening and how our dogs were doing. She also kept our home clean and tidy. We would be grateful to have Liz sit for us anytime!
Wendy was the perfect dog sitter and house sitter for us. She managed our house and dog and in such a caring a responsible way. Wendy was prompt with communicating with us and managed situations that arose professionally. Our house was spotless and our dog happy when arrived home. I knew everything thing was in good hands while we were away. I hope we can invited her to stay with us again.
Joe arrived some days before I left, so I could show him some nice places in Switzerland and he had enough of time to learn all about the dogs and how to handle them. He is an amazing nice and an animal/natur loving person who took care of my dog with incredible affection when I was in vacation. I could really enjoy it, because I knew, everything is ok at home. He sent me picutres and I could see, how much fun they have together. He cooked for the dogs, mad a lot of nice hikes with them and huged them, when they need it - so he even got the trust from Artu (as a man really not easy). And not only that, he made woodruff punch for me and sowed my tomatoes and spoiled them with melt water. And he helped also the women which looked after the horses and helped her to going walk with them. Generelly he is super friendly, so everyone in the village likes him. He is considerate of your belongings and has handed the house back neatly. He is just the best. I'm so gratuful he was here. So, if you have a chance to get him as a sitter, take it. Your animals will be grateful to you and have a good time while you are on vacation. Joe, you're not just a dog sitter for me. You were so familiar to me from the first moment. We had a lot of fun and we already miss you sooooo much. I'm really looking forward to see you again in some monthes.
Shannon and Travis stepped up at the last minute when an earlier sitter canceled. Shannon and Travis took care our our large brood of animals for two weeks while we were out of the country over the Christmas holiday. They kept us informed about what was happening with the animals and our home. Our dog Pepper doesn’t like most people, but loved Travis and Shannon immediately. I would not hesitate to welcome Shannon and Travis back for another sit. They are very honest and friendly people. Their dog Dime is also awesome.
Truly The Best House sitters Ever!!! Shannon, Travis and their son were absolutely terrific. I’m so lucky to have had the genuine pleasure of meeting them. Very warm, generous, open and loving people. My dog Wolfie usually barks at men who come in the house and I was a little worried about how he would be with Travis, but I had nothing to fear because within seriously 1 minute from Travis walking in the door, Wolfie was giving him kisses on the lips! I was so happy to receive their updates and photos and videos of my pets while I was away. They really went above and beyond taking terrific care of my many, many furry and feathered friends. When I got home, the place was sparkling clean, all linens laundered and beds made and they even left me sweet little surprises. I would welcome The Exums back with open arms anytime and highly recommend them.
Romina and Ignas took amazing care of our two dogs and home while we were away! One of our dogs, Beau, is extremely high energy and it takes a special person so make sure he gets enough mental and physical stimulation each day. Romina kept us in the loop of his trips to parks and outdoor excursions. She was very thoughtful and responsive during our time away. Additionally, our home was in pristine shape when we returned from our trip. The rooms were clean and tidy and Romina left us such a thoughtful note. Romina and Ignas are top notch sitters and I'd highly recommend them to anyone with pets! Thank you so much, Romina and Ignas. Our dogs were so well cared for and loved.
Ryan is a great house and pet sitter and I definitely recommend him. He took excellent care of my apartment and my dog for peace of mind when I was away. He is professional, friendly, and experienced.

By far the best boarding facility in the area. I grew up with dogs and now have my own, so we have tried out many facilities. Lucky Dog treats each dog as family. Having an anxious pup, I always worry about leaving even just for a night or two. With Lucky Dog, I was finally comfortable enough to leave my pup for a full week. That is huge for me!!!! They post DAILY PICTURES on facebook of all of the pups staying there so you get to see your pup every day you’re away. We have been using Lucky Dog for a little over a year and we will NEVER go back to anything else. Thank you guys for all you do for my Rosie girl! She really does love it here and it means the world to me to have somewhere I feel safe to leave her.
This is the best place for our fur kids! Acres of places to run and handlers who watch them and play as well. 2 ponds for the swimmers. There is plenty to explore with doggy fun stuff like old tires, picnic tables to climb, playgrounds and shady places to lay around. And can’t forget the holiday doggy parties with the works. And boarding kennels!! I call it ‘Paradise for Pups!!’
We have always had good experiences with Lucky Dog. They always take excellent care of our pup. The updates they have done to their facility look wonderful. Finn is always excited when we pull into the driveway and has a wonderful time when he is there. Because they have such a large outside play area for the dogs he always comes home very tired from all the playing he has dome while we are gone!
We loved lucky dog. Very professional and loved the fact that we could see pictures of our pups daily on Facebook.
My dogs love it here! Both the daycare and the boarding are always a huge success. I have a ton of trust that my dogs are being well looked after and given the best care. Also, don't forget to tell them if your pup has a birthday during their stay!
Lucky Dog is one of a kind. They treat your dog just like they are their own. I am so thankful for everything they have done for my pup and how attentive they are! I would not send my dog anywhere else. Their staff are trustworthy and kind and you can tell they love what they do.
My dogs love it there. They have lots of play time and plenty of space to run. The staff is always nice.
Super cool deal on Saturdays. A while golf park to walk your dog in from 11 to 3. 8 bucks is totally worth Todzilla's happiness.
We drive almost four hours to kennel our two dogs here. They love coming and they are always very well cared for. They are constantly improving the facilities and I highly recommend them!
Our dog Arnie loves his Wednesday’s at Lucky Dog. He gets so tired out, Sometimes I have to wake him up for dinner. The staff gives great feedback so you know your critter is doing well. A tired dog is a happy dog.
Not good for animals don't do all things promised
We attended Colin’s dog obedience school because we got a rescue pup with some major anxiety. What we expected would be an adventure packed with dog interactions and mostly our little pup learning how to do tricks, ended up being so much more. By the end, our anxious, shy little girl became a confident dog who was no longer afraid to go outside. She trusts us in ways we never thought possible. Our little pup has become a confident, self-assured explorer who is one of the most loving little dogs I’ve ever encountered. The lessons learned were not learned by the dog, but us the humans. We learned to hold our dog accountable, show her love in her way, and gain her trust. We completed the Freshman class on the date of this review, and couldn’t imagine where our precious little princess would be without the lessons Colin taught us over these past eight weeks. In the process, our sweet dog-child has grown to be happier than words can capture. Our dog’s anxiety had her struggle to walk from the parking lot into the building (we carried her in) and now she trots with pride on her way in to the building. In thinking of the progress our little girl made, I can’t help but be grateful for Mr. Colin’s patience and wisdom he bestowed upon us in our pretty girl’s profound growth as well as our growth as dog owners. I would recommend Colin to anyone with a rescue who needs guidance on how to change behaviors and overcome anxieties, because he has been the exclusive catalyst to our sweet dog’s immense life change.
My dog goes to Peninsula Pups both for daycare and for training. She absolutely loves it. The staff is so caring and is genuinely excited to see Olive when I drop her off in the morning. She comes home thoroughly tired after having fun all day. And she absolutely adores their trainer Colin. He is so knowledgeable and very patient with her. I'm very grateful to have found Peninsula Pups and I feel very confident knowing that my dog is in safe hands when she is with them.
I have been taking my dog there for about one year and it's been incredible. He has such a great time and the best part is he is exhausted when he comes home! I work full time and it is nice to know he is at a safe facility and having much needed exercise and companionship while I'm working. The staff is amazing and I would highly recommend Peninsula Pups!
Our little guy Harvey Dent loves seeing all of his friends at doggie daycare. Liz and her team do a wonderful job!
Sometimes you get to the park & there's no pups for your dog to play with. Sometimes there's a scuffle...which happens. At ppdd there's specialists & trained employees to help pups navigate their play & always someone there to play with. Instead of sitting home with nothing to do while you're at work, why not let the kids have some fun? This is a great, safe, supervised way for your dogs to have some fun. 💜💙 And the trainers make sure everyone is safe & happy. A great service in Erie!
I happened to be picking up my pup from daycare the afternoon that the owner of Peninsula Pups, Liz, seemed to be dealing with a challenging phone call. I may have only heard one side of that conversation but I guarantee you that Liz handled herself very professionally, simply stating the facts as to why she could not accommodate the individual at that time. And in today's world, business owners do not do anything to turn away business unnecessarily, let alone risk having a poor review written unjustly. I was not surprised to see the very negative review posted by L. Cruz, but oh so disappointed. I have been a client at Peninsula Pups for almost 10 years. They are professional and treat the fur babies as family. My pup also was trained there as well, all highly recommended!
I have been trying to find a daycare for the past two months and have been having a horrible time scheduling the behavior assessment. Not only were they unaccommodating with scheduling, they apparently have no options until 2-3 weeks out for a test that takes 5 minutes. Would not coordinate with the trainer for a new client. The owner, I believe, snapped at me and almost made me cry; she has no idea that I have been calling their company since November trying to schedule something. Everyone I spoke with was totally useless and I got different information each time. I drove to another daycare right after the call hoping they could do the assessment on the spot and THEY DID IT. My dog is scheduled for daycare at another location and it was so easy. Things happen for a reason and I’m glad I didn’t take my dog somewhere where they obviously have no patience and are able to snap at new customers. THIS COMPANY WAS UNWILLING TO WORK WITH ME and find 5 minutes in their day to help me get signed up. My dog goes to daycare almost every day so it’s truly their loss.
Our dogs LOVE Peninsula Pups! The staff is wonderful, always wanting the best for every dog. It was such a relief to know our "kiddos" were in such good hands while we were at work. Thank you so much Peninsula Pups for all you do! We truly appreciate each and every one of you! :)
Our Golden Retriever Molly goes to daycare here twice a week and loves it. Liz, the owner is compassionate and truly loves each and every pup that walks through those doors. The staff is also fantastic-always sharing helpful and important information for the well being of the owners and their dogs.
I have been bringing my husky Malfoy here for 10 months. Liz and the gang are great! You can tell they truly take the time to make sure your dog is completely comfortable. I would recommend Peninsula Pups to anyone looking for a doggy daycare.
Not a good place to have them take care of your pets, people have complained about their animals being mistreated
This is a great place for your pets! We use Paws For The Good Life for boarding, daycare, and grooming! They truly love what they do, and I am always content that they have my dogs' best interest at heart. I especially love all the TLC they receive while there. I highly recommend them for all services!
Wow! These people really care and love dogs! Prior to boarding your pet, you must pay for a mandatory meet n greet- to ensure that your dog is correctly social, and obviously all shots must be up to date. Well worth it because if I have to do that, then all other dogs have to go through this process. Raven is a highly social and energetic dog. While we were gone, we did not want her locked up in a cage all day. She interacted with dogs of all shapes and sizes that also were social. She was enriched, she loved the crew that works there! & she had her energy spent in a positive, social manner, so much so, that she was tired for three days after! We needed that time for us to get settled in after our vacation. A well exercised/enriched dog is a good dog. Thank you for keeping my dog a good dog!
Absolutely Outstanding. Gracie, out Golden Retriever loved the interaction with the other dogs. The grooming by Mary was outstanding along w/ bows in her hair and pink toenails!! We loved it!! Best groomer we have had in years! The staff obviously loves dog w/ a passion and Carol was outstanding on our meet and greet. We will be back monthly for playtime and grooming. Thank you so much!
We boarded our dogs for the first time while on a 9 day vacation. Upon searching for facilities, paws for the good life was the immediate choice by just walking into the lobby. The friendliness of the staff and the information they provide before making your decision is in excess. The facility is the cleanest in the Erie area, by far! It’s family owned and the staff is PHENOMENAL with the animals. Our dogs had a true “home away from home experience” and were well taken care of. The staff communicated with us and provided daily photos AND activities for them! They even had a Valentine’s Day party with the dogs including homemade, healthy treats, balloons and their own valentines! How absolutely adorable is that?! The care and attention to detail Paws for the Good Life has is unsurpassed! 20/10!
I wanted to board my pup a few times before leaving a review. I absolutely love this place!!!! We don’t trust just anyone with our kids, same goes for our dog. After searching for a while, this was one of the few places that would even consider our pit mix. You can tell the whole group loves their job! Between being so hands on with the dogs, making them special treats, throwing parties for them, you name it!!! It’s very hard for me to put my full trust into a place, and I can honestly say I would trust them with my dogs life. She has a great judge of character, and she adores all the staff. I love the fact they post pictures on Facebook too so I can see all the fun they’re having!!! 100% recommend!!!!!!
Our dog absolutely loves it here! He gets so excited as soon as we pull in and then falls asleep on the way home every time. We’ve done daycare and boarding and we’re extremely happy with both. Everyone is so kind and great with the animals. We’re very happy this place is so nearby!
This was our first experience boarding our dog. We are very pleased with every aspect of this place. It's a converted farm, complete with 6 acres of fenced yard/fields for Fido to run and play, also has a large pond for them to swim in, Carol the owner is very good with the animals and sends us daily updates complete with pictures and videos. Couldn't be happier with this choice!
Just a wonderful, caring group of people that LOVE, LOVE, LOVE dogs! Thanks for being there for so many of us during these crazy times. Keep up the amazing work!
I have never left my Dogs with anyone in the past. I was a nervous wreck. Staff at Paws for Life made me feel comfortable, they even posted photos of my pups on facebook so I'd know they were well while I was away. I could see they were obviously happy in them! I really highly recommend this kennel! They did a super job with my spoiled pups!
My sister was very sick and unable to care for her cat. Carol and her husband took excellent care of Mia and were very caring n responsive! I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about Paws For The Good Life in McKean, PA. They take great care of dogs too! Sincerely, MaryBeth Kunath
