Not all dog lovers can care for the large breed dogs. You can't just pick them up to fix a problem. And they tend to drool. Betsy was just marvelous with Byron. He likes to get out to walk or ride around in the car. He is a nosy thing. Betsy was able to find his best self. She sent lots of pictures. The house looked the same as we left it. I could not ask for more. We appreciated all she did to allow us to take a vacation without worry.

You are always a little bit nervous to leave the care of your house and pet to a stranger for two weeks but after talking to Reba on the phone.,I knew it would work out. She did an exceptional job house/pet/garden sitting for the two weeks she was here. Her communication was great. She always returned texts promptly and sent us texts with updates on a regular basis. This was our first sitter and Reba showed her experience by guiding us through the process. Our house was well taken care and it was cleaned throughly when we returned. This was much appreciated as we arrived back at 1 am after a long travel day. Our cat was well taken care of also and even warmed up to Reba as Sophia can be a little aloof. We also left the extra responsibility of taking care of our garden. She had to do some watering and with cold temperature, cover it also. Thanks to her for doing this. In conclusion, if you are lucky enough to get Reba to be your sitter. Jump on the opportunity. She was FANTASTIC!!

Elena was incredibly amazing! We are so lucky to have met her, her boyfriend Shaun, and her adorable animals (dog Emmet and two cats). Shaun was equally great! Jade and Oakley received professional and loving care the entire time. I truly think that they are now missing Elena, Shaun, and Emmet. Communication was excellent and we enjoyed the daily updates and photos. We arrived home to a cleaner house than we left it. They went over and beyond with housecleaning. They exceeded our expectations, which were high already after getting to know them the night before our departure. We hope our paths cross again. We highly recommend them to anyone seeking a sit! Tammy was incredible with communication. She asked and took daily photos and texts of our pets while we were away. We came home to an immaculately cleaned home (I can't even clean it to the level we came home to!!!) Tammy had dinner ready for us when we arrived home. The night we got home my dogs were calm and confused where to sleep, hence I KNEW they loved her being with them. I cannot recommend her enough! We were truly blessed to have her care for our dogs, chickens and home.

Samiyah and Ethan were a very nice young student couple. They were timely on their arrival and cleaned the house before they departed. We were disappointed that they had not read the welcome guide before they arrived as we have lots of detailed instructions. The dogs appeared to be well cared.

Maryna was an excellent pet sitter and houseguest! Communicating with her was easy, and she always responded to my messages quickly. She was also incredibly self-sufficient! Moreover, Maryna graciously agreed to check on my neighbor's cat for a couple of days as well. My dog bonded with her quickly and was happy and healthy when I returned. The house was also spotless. I would happily have Maryna sit for me again!

Denise was by far the best pet sitter we have ever had! She watched our two pups while we were gone for 3 weeks and took amazing care of our dogs and home. She took the time to ask questions and make sure she understood each dog’s needs as well as how to take the best care of our house before we left. She sent videos everyday updating us on how the pups were doing. We were so happy to see how much quality time she was spending with them and how much they loved her. Our dogs were so sad to see her leave and we can’t wait to have her back. Denise made sure that the house was in perfect condition when she left and treated our home as if it were her own. Angela Gandolfo and Erica Piazza came to stay at our house while we were away on vacation for two weeks. Our two dogs are a handful, but these two lovely women took such good care of them. They spoiled them even more than we do, which is perfect. We got photos every day, and when we came home our house was tidy and there were clean sheets on the bed. I couldn't have asked for better house and pet sitters than these two women. They communicated well with us, and if they had questions, they asked. It was a pleasure to work with both Angela and Erica. We had to cut our vacation short because of a death in the family. It was really stressful, but once again, Angela and Erica were flexible and understanding. It made a difficult time easier, knowing that things at home were being managed so well. Jo & David were absolutely amazing sitters for our house and dog Rosie while we were out of town for 2 1/2 weeks. They are the best! Jo was super communicative and responsive at all times. She and David bonded with our dog, who grew very attached to them. They left our house super clean (and there were even chocolate chip cookies for us on our return)! Most of all, they are just super nice people and very easy to work with. Anyone is lucky to have JoAnna & David housesit for them.

Susan and Jim were amazing sitters for my 2 boys whilst I went to Portugal to play golf. Communication we had prior to the sit was excellent, and we were able to discuss the dogs in detail. They arrived the day before I was due to leave so we were able to have a good handover. They really looked after the dogs well, and my house was immaculate when I returned. Brian is awesome - he is simply the best pet sitter and house sitter that we have EVER had and we've had a bunch. He is experienced, thoughtful, respectful, loving, appreciative, helpful, enthusiastic...the list just goes on. Started with our initial call - it was our first sit with zeewoi and he immediately instilled confidence in us in how he talked about his experience and how he saw his role. In the pre-planning, he had great questions for us and helped us to get organized. He was thorough through the instructions, came in a day early to make sure he understood everything about our house and our dog and then followed through on everything. He even drove us to the airport and picked us up on the return. Along the way we were gone, he sent us pictures and kept us updated - always making us feel good about being away and knowing Jorge and the house were in great hands. We had workers coming to fix a fence while gone and some other activity at the house - he was helpful, available, and willing to do whatever was needed to be done. He was self-sufficient and when it came time to leave, he had everything organized and cleaned at the house - he left it in better condition than he received it. We would love to have Brian sit whenever we are away (and in fact will invite him and hope he says yes!) - any one would be lucky to have Brian as their house and pet sitter.

This place is super nice! The kennels are big and they have doggie doors so the dogs can go to the outside kennel if they want. They have a lot of trails in the woods to walk our dogs. We got a couple pictures of our dogs texted to us while we were on vacation, so we knew they were in good hands. We had our two dogs groomed at the end of their stay and they came home smelling pretty. Thanks Angel!
CoCo was happy to stay and because I opted for grooming as well, she was gorgeous and happy coming home. I was thankful they had a spot open during the holidays.

I have only used them a few times so far but HIGHLY recommend!!! My friends first showed me how to get a pet sitter with an app while I was away visiting them and I loved the idea so I could set up times without having to call. When my one of my other friends told me about Paula's Pet Sitting it was exactly what I wanted! Unlike Rover and Wag you get to meet your team and that was extremely important to me. They came, saw where we kept pet items in the house, and met me and my pups. When they came both times, they were fantastic! They let you know when they have arrived, and then at the end they send you pictures of their visit as well as a message letting you know how it went. It is so nice to have finally found a pet sitter I feel comfortable with and with many options to use (dog walks, mid day let outs, overnights, etc.). Again, I HIGHLY recommend them.
I brought home a 6 week old puppy and hated leaving him alone during the day. Driving home on my lunch break daily was not a sustainable plan. A friend recommended Paula's pet sitting and I am so pleased I contacted them! My puppy gets visits twice a day and loves each woman on the team that is assigned to him. They refresh his water, prep Kong toys, replace soiled potty pads, and send me a report with pictures after each visit. I am still working on training and the ladies work along with me. If I require the dog sits before a gate is opened, they do the same. If I reward my puppy for relieving himself in the correct place, they do to. I don't have to worry that visits are counteracting the training. If you are considering using a pet sitter- go with Paula's!
We used to avoid travelling because it was so uncomfortable asking friends and neighbors to care for our cat while we were gone and the cat would get upset and pee on the carpets. With Paula's we know our pets routine is as normal as possible so they're happy when we get back. They even water our plants and come at 12 hr intervals to administer meds to our 17 yr old cat.
We have moved to Midland in 2018 we needed to travel shortly there after. We are so lucky to have found Paula’s Petsitting. Without her and her staff it would’ve been very difficult to go on trips and feel assured that our “hairy “children are very well taken care of. Before moving here we used to “board “ our Pets and having them at home in their own environment is such a reassuring thing. Thank you for giving us peace of mind !

The pet sitters are going above and beyond at each visit, they will check everything and keep you informed every step of the way. Last minute requests are responded to within minutes. We planned a trip and three months before we left, decided to get two more westies, in addition to our four year old. We have only left the four year old with family members, but with two puppies, thought it would be best to keep their routine at home. Our vet recommended Paula's and the experience was wonderful! Daily updates and pictures made our vacation so much more enjoyable, knowing our boys were at home, playing in their own yard and sleeping in their own beds. Gigi did a wonderful job with the dogs and answered every question I had while we were gone!

This was the first time I had taken my 2 dogs to their groomer, Christina, and I could not be more pleased with how their grooming turned out. I had been using the same groomer for many years and I'll admit I was nervous about changing groomers. But I couldn't have been more pleased. I've already scheduled their next grooming. I highly recommend Christina for your grooming needs.
We have taken out dog twice and everything was great. They were even open over labor day weekend! The location is easily accessible from the road. Before our initial visit I left a message and it was returned promptly the same day. All in all we are pleased so far. Keep up the good work guys!
My two-year-old pit mix has been getting groomed here for 6 months. The groomer can handle her size and anxiety which is a bonus. Her nails and bath are always a quick (hour) or so service. She use to go to a different groomer who would put a foul-smelling powder on her. I know when I take her here I know it won't be an all-day process. Highly recommend.
The owner is wonderful to work with. Her staff takes excellent care of the animals: boarding and grooming. We've used both services and have been satisfied with the care of our pet. Facility is clean. I personally appreciate the country setting, with good access to Midland, Freeland, Saginaw, Hemlock, and surrounding areas.

Wonderful staff. Go above and beyond what we could reasonably expect to make sure our dogs do well in their care. We boarded a senior dog with diabetes who refused to eat. They tried absolutely everything, and kept in close contact with us. Just amazing.
