Dog Sitters in Nafferton

Having just left our two dogs with Rachael (Bed n Biscuits) for the first time, we can’t recommend her highly enough. We were quite anxious to leave Stan (our 3 year old, very sensitive Lab) and Patch (our 14 year old Jack Russell) but Rachael did everything to put us and them at ease. She took the time to go on walks beforehand to get to know them and during our time away, kept us updated with honest reviews and photos of how they were getting on. Both dogs came home happy - what more can you ask!

Having the dogs stay with Rachael is such a treat for them and us. They are totally safe and have fun walks. They especially like sleepovers! Thank you.

Alex looked after Flora for 15 days, which is the longest that we have left her. I was uncertain as to whether I could go away and leave her for such a long time, but from the moment that we met Alex and Ollie I had complete peace of mind. Flora has had a fabulous holiday, enjoying the walks with Ollie and friends, especially the water 😂. I’m sure that Flora will miss them all. Alex has great affinity with animals and genuinely loves and cares for them whilst they are in her care as though they are her own. We all looked forward to the photos and videos which were sent daily. I’m not sure that words can really express how grateful we are to have found Eastfield Dog Boarding.

Alex looked after Bill for me while we were away from a few days and he couldn’t have been happier. It was so great that he got to enjoy lots of long walks with Ollie, as well as plenty of time playing ball in their safe and enclosed paddock, which he loves. I felt really confident throughout his stay that he was being very well looked after. Even when he had a flare up of his skin condition, Alex went above and beyond to get in touch with me and help organise and then pick up some emergency medication for him. She even got him a birthday present, for the last day he stayed as it happened to coincide with his birthday. I could not recommend her highly enough to give you peace of mind when you are away.

5⭐️s just doesn’t sound enough of a rating for Eastfield Dog Boarding! The house, garden & paddocks are within a secure & beautiful setting. As soon as I met Alex on our meet & greet I knew she would be the perfect holiday Mum to my 3yr old Golden Retriever Robbie for the duration of his 15 day stay. Alex has a wonderful natural rapport with the dogs & they are welcomed into her family as if one of her own. Robbie has lived his best life enjoying amazing countryside & beach walks everyday & wonderful playtimes in the garden & paddocks with the beautiful Ollie. The love, care & attention Robbie has had is amazing, he can get quite anxious but the time was taken to reassure & help him settle from the moment he arrived. There has been excellent communication from Alex throughout Robbie’s stay & we looked forward to her daily photos & videos of all his adventures. Having found this perfect place I can’t imagine Robbie ever staying anywhere else & can’t recommend it enough. Thank you so much Alex, I know Robbie is going to miss you, your Husband & Ollie.🐾💙

Absolutely so happy I found the perfect place for our much loved pampered Bella to stay over for a few days whilst hubby took us away just before Christmas for a few days. It was Bella’s first time staying over with Alex and her lovely family with their family dog Olly and also Bella’s first encounter with cats and I think it was safe to say she absolutely loved her stay with Alex. Alex made sure Bella was so well looked after in the beautiful family home surroundings that Bella took to Alex like a second mum. She went on beautiful long country walks and came back to lots and lots of cuddles on the sofa. Alex sent me photos and kept me posted throughout Bella’s stay which helped keep my mind at ease. On collection I honestly don’t think Bella wanted to come home as she was so happy and content with Alex and her family. I would highly recommend Eastfield Dog Boarding to anyone who is looking to board their much loved pooch whilst they are away. Thank you once again Alex 🐾🐾💖 (P.S. I think Bella misses you too) xx

Our Golden Retriever spent 18 days at Eastfield Boarding. As soon as we met Alex and Ollie for our pre visit appointment, we knew what an amazing time he would have. Alex kept in contact with us regularly while we were away, sending us photos and videos of Marley absolutely living his best life! I was quite jealous of all the beautiful walks in different places that he went on. Alex and her family treated Marley like a member of their family and he was a spoilt with all the yummy treats he had. When we arrived to pick Marley up he initially came to see us and then ran back inside and made himself comfy, it was so lovely to see how calm and comfortable he was in his surroundings. We can’t wait for Marley’s next stay and can’t thank Alex, she’s amazing and Marley has made a best friend in Ollie

Fantastic from start to finish with our 2 retrievers Daisy & Rose! Went for an initial meet and greet, lovely house, fantastic gardens / paddocks for them, and great communications (with plenty of update photos and videos) from the off. Alex is a true professional and we can not wait to come back!

Maddie absolutely loved it here. It's a home from home. Treat like one of their own. Got plenty of cuddles and to play with Ollie. It's reassuring to know the paddock is safe for those who are still learning recall. Miles better than kennels.

Our lab Buster had an amazing time at Eastfield Dog Boarding, he was looked after so well and had the most fantastic walks whilst he was there. I cannot recommend enough, thank you 💙 …

I can very highly recommend Alex at Eastfield Dog Boarding, my 11 month old cocker spaniel has never left me but was in the best place ever, daily updates of all Toby adventures from running round the garden, in the paddock or on walks with the other dogs, then pictures of him fast asleep on the sofa, definitely home from home wouldn't hesitate to send Toby again

Highly recommended!! Very professional care. My dog was treated like in own home and I had a worry free head while on holiday. Everything what you can dream for your dog is there… sofa cuddles, tummy rub, forest walk, seaside run… just amazing. Thank you

I have never left my beloved yorkie with any one but family, but age has made her temperamental and this means I cannot leave her with family now. A good friend recommended Carr Lane Kennels, and what a great recommendation! My Georgie came home after a week happy and no sign what so ever of being anything but a happy doggy! I must admit I did think she may come home a little somewhat depressed but no she is relaxed and happy and I will 100% be taking her for her holidays to Carr Lane Kennels again! Thank you to all at Carr Lane it means a lot.

Home from home for my dog. We leave our dog in the full knowledge that he's well looked after. He sometimes even gets a shampoo wash and smells lovely on collection. Great friendly staff also.

Took our Border Collie for day care for the first time yesterday. Staff were very friendly and took very good care of Ollie. Booked in again for tomorrow.

Our 5 big floofs stayed here in Dec last year for 3 nights and for 2wks recently and we are always so worried on holiday about them but we didn’t worry this time and we’re confident they were happy and cared for. They came back washed and beautiful ready for work which also saved us a massive stress. They came running to us looking happy and didn’t run to our van so this speaks volumes about their mental wellbeing in that they were happy and not in a rush to go! Excellent boarding for our cat Heidi, and we have been going here for the last 3 years. Great price, excellent facilities, knowledgeable and friendly staff and owners. Would (and do) recommend to everyone who needs a cattery or boarding kennel. A unique service of pick up or drop off for your pet can be arranged if required, and we have used this excellent service a couple of times due to travel plans.

Brilliant place and very affordable. Our Polo came back washed and clean and didn't even sulk like where we used yo take him when we go away .We'll done guys ,you are the best and Polo is absolutely knackered. I recommend this place if you want piece of mind

Absolutely appalling customer service. Been taking my puppy regularly to the ‘Puppy Nights’ on a Monday, unfortunately I did forget this evening as in hospital with my little girl. I was asked if I was coming tonight, to which I sincerely apologised for and had been stuck in hospital. The response I got was with absolutely not sympathy or condolences and slapped with an invoice, which I have paid. But absolutely disgusting service.

Wouldn't dare leave my dog there again. Make sure you ask to see behind scenes before leaving your dog in their care, also check staff to dog ratio. Staff seem to have no idea how to entertain dogs other than shove them all together to entertain themselves. Your dog is just a number!

Rose is experienced, reliable, trustworthy and we know 'Arthur' is always safe and having lots of fun! He absolutely loves her. We would without hesitation recommend Rose.

Rose is marvellous. So caring, knowledgeable, and helpful. Great with advice for our new pup. Frozen carrots for mouthy youngsters is inspired.

Vicky jumped in to pet-sit our two dogs during a family wedding after the originally-booked sitter pulled out. I have to say that she couldn't have been better. She was superb with our dogs, including our very nervous collie, punctual, attentive and very easy to deal with. She also asked to reduce the fee by £50, even though she was aware of the amount we agreed with the previous sitter because she thought it was fairer. I can highly recommend her.

Attended fantastic puppy class with Vicky. Great practical advice and training. Would happily recommend to others - especially for first-time pup parents.

A brilliant dog walker and general pet lover and carer, would always recommend to anybody in the area. We always know our pets are cared for, loved and safe with Vicky.

Buddy spent a long weekend while we were on holiday. He was booked into multiple group sessions and for a groom at the end. When we picked him up he was happy and full of beans. Home from Home accomodated us in storing the car crate, giving us more bootspace for our journey and accepted Buddy's food to keep his diet the same as it is at home. Both greatly appreciated. Unfortuantely after 4 or 5 group play sessions we only have two pictures to see the friends he made and the fun he should(?) have had (attached), only receiving these after constant reminding (no pictures were available on Facebook or privately). I requested the brands used during Buddy's groom (assuming it was this) as he came home with a rash on his tender bits, later moving to the base of his tail. Fortunately our pet insurance offers free video vet services (Home from Home did offer to cover any vet costs etc to their credit). I am still waiting for the product names almost 4 weeks later, in order for us to avoid them (the products) in future. All in all ok which is disapointing as I was expecting much more.

Took care of my two cats for a month or so and I was able to visit during that time. Quite spacious and tiered cubicles that they were kept in together and monitored daily. Obviously a little noisy with other cats and dogs in neighbouring surrounding cubicles and buildings but my cats seemed quite settled regardless. Would recommend.

I took my dog to there family friendly dog show and of course she won best in she. That meant she won a couple of nights stay. So we used our prize. I can definitely say I highly recommend home from home. The staff was super with bea and she went in very happy, came out even happier. Love that they post photos on their Facebook for them having fun. Thank you we shall be returning 🥰🐶🐾

We often use these kennels for our 2 Frenchies and Border Terrier for both daycare and overnight stays. Before their first visit I came to view the kennels. They are clean, spacious warm and comfortable. The staff are always professional and welcoming too. There are also lots of additional services you can book for your pets including grooming, extra walks, 1-1 time etc. When my dogs come for a stay they jump up at the door and push it open themselves, clearly looking forward to it. I love it that I can easily book a stay online via their website. I think that is really helpful rather than having to ring up to book.

Took our 3 year old border terrier Hamish for his very first overnight stay😧...I was soooooh apprehensive and nervous they would not care for him at the level I expected. All my initial fears were completely resolved as soon as I met the staff, each and everyone, verbally and non verbally made me realise Hamish would be cared for. When he was taken to his Hillside room (much quieter area), Saffy reasured me even more just how much the staff cares, I was happy she was taking him for his play session. Hamish was only there for one overnight stay, when he was collected the following day, he was bouncy, energetic, his little tail going like the clappers....yep I was very happy 😊. It's a wonderful caring environment to take your precious gargo!! We are planning to access the day to socialise with other dogs.

This was my dog's first experience of staying in kennels, so we were really apprehensive. I needn't have worried. Home from Home has a very professional feel and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Ringo had a 3 night stay and, when I picked him up, he was absolutely fine; like he'd never been away. I would definitely recommend.

Just want to thank everyone for taking care of Bella our Frenchie whilst we had a week away in Turkey. She has come back full of beans and can't thank the staff enough for looking after her. Grooming team have done a great job aswell
