Active, responsible, retired, ready to take care of your pets and home
Ed and Laura were great pet-/housesitters! They were organized and communicative. We returned home to a spotless house, thriving plants, and a happy cat.

Two travel crossed lovers embarking on a year-long road trip!
This was my first experience with zeewoi and I am sold! Andrea excelled at communicating. We met prior to her sit so we could review the house, the pet and everything involved. She kept in touch with me every day I was gone with photos and texts. She even taught my guy to retrieve, something I was never able to accomplish! On my return my boy was clearly well taken care of, as was my house. I would love to have her stay with us again.

Caring, Clean and Dependable Traveler Who Would Love To Take Care Of Your Home
Elizabeth was fantastic and we would absolutely have her again. She is a great communicator, checked with us if she wasn't sure, took good care of Lulu, and was overall wonderful.

Not all dog lovers can care for the large breed dogs. You can't just pick them up to fix a problem. And they tend to drool. Betsy was just marvelous with Byron. He likes to get out to walk or ride around in the car. He is a nosy thing. Betsy was able to find his best self. She sent lots of pictures. The house looked the same as we left it. I could not ask for more. We appreciated all she did to allow us to take a vacation without worry.

Care taker extraordinaire
We loved having Joy stay at out home while we were away. She was great at communicating with us, took good care of our pets and left our home clean when we returned. Would gladly have Joy house sit again anytime. Highly recommend!

Brittany was great! I was gone for about a month which is the longest I have been away from my pets. She asked minimal questions and sent me picture updates of the pets throughout my trip which was appreciated. I would certainly welcome her back into my home again to care for my pets.

Looking to babysit the world's most cutest pets ever.
Tammy was incredible with communication. She asked and took daily photos and texts of our pets while we were away. We came home to an immaculately cleaned home (I can't even clean it to the level we came home to!!!) Tammy had dinner ready for us when we arrived home. The night we got home my dogs were calm and confused where to sleep, hence I KNEW they loved her being with them. I cannot recommend her enough! We were truly blessed to have her care for our dogs, chickens and home.

Teacher/petsitter dreaming of making petsitting and traveling a reality!
When we select a sitter, we read every review in addition to conducting some sort of video interview. We really rely upon the experiences of past hosts, so that’s why I believe it important to be honest in this review. I love giving out 5 star reviews and do quite frequently, but I also need to share any less-than-positive experiences as well for those hosts who rely upon reviews such as we do. As such, I’m a bit ambivalent about writing this review of Katie, as there were some really good things Katie did while here. She is a lovely, energetic woman who responded immediately to the concerns I voiced to her during the time she watched our pets; however, the “negatives” we experienced speak to the heart of the importance of having a dedicated pet sitter. For the most part, our home was left tidy and neat – which is no small feat as ours is a large house and I appreciate the care Katie took in ensuring we walked into a clean home. That said, Katie failed to notice my dogs had urinated in both of their dog beds and on the floor of our downstairs office, which we believed happened in the first part of the sit and resulted in the downstairs smelling of stale urine. Further, because she didn’t notice the urine, my pets, when downstairs, had to either sleep on the bare floor or in wet beds, neither of which is a satisfactory option. Also, my dogs don’t generally urinate in the house as they have access to a doggie door, and this seemed more a sign of their distress or discomfort. I believe this incident was part of a larger problem I experienced with Katie and that was in the manner in which she approached this sit. I advertised dates of July 6 – July 22. We generally ask our sitters to come in a day or two early as to walk them through the schedule for both our animals and our many plants, as well as to give them time to get to know the animals and experience a little of the town we live in. We also provide a very detailed introduction and welcome guide which outlines our expectations. Katie came in late in the day on the 7th, without personal transportation, which necessitated us picking her up and then my neighbor taking her to a rental cart company the next day because we left very early on the morning of the 8th. This abbreviated introductory time didn’t allow us to fully prepare Katie for the sit and allowed for some apparent “misunderstandings.” The “issue” for me was for the first five days of our 13-day trip, Katie was away from the house for up to 13 hours at a time – leaving our two, older rescue dogs, who have some separation anxiety - alone and with an extended time between meals. It was clear Katie was using this opportunity to visit many of the beautiful areas which surround where we live – hence using our home as more of an Airbnb to vacation – than a house sit dedicated to caring for our animals. Our dogs are fine with being alone for up to six hours but even that, for multiple days in a row, is, frankly, distressing to our animals and to us, as owners. To Katie’s credit, when I called and brought her daily, extended time away to her attention and reiterated my wishes the dogs not be left for more than 6 hours, she changed her schedule and while still gone every day, capped her time away at six hours. And, as I said, she is cheerful and responsive; hence, the ambivalence is positing my concerns with this sit. I think if Katie is provided with very clear expectations prior to the sit and understands exactly what is needed and expected, she will absolutely deliver. For whatever reason, from the start, this sit was rushed, there appeared to be too many misunderstandings, and it ended up being frustrating for us in ways other sits have not been.
Martin and Caitlin are the best house/pet sitters we've ever had. They came fully prepared (they had read through welcome packet thoroughly before they arrived), they sent the best texts and pics to reassure us all was well, and the house was immaculate when we got home. Best of all, they treated Winston like family and he clearly fell in love with them. They are considerate, trustworthy, and detail-oriented. We absolutely would love to have them back (honestly, every time we go on a trip!). They are fantastic and we are truly grateful for the care and love they showed to both our dog and our home.
Kelly was an excellent sitter for us. She communicated well, before the sit and during the sit. When we got home, the dogs and our guinea pig were happy and well. Kelly was dependable and showed up exactly on time. The house was well maintained and clean when we arrived home. We would definitely host Kelly again.
Anita was a wonderful dog sitter for Balto! They were super tentative, made sure to ask any and all questions before we went away, and they sent the best updates about Balto while we were gone. I felt so much better knowing my dog was in great hands, and I could not recommend Anita enough! Quality care, and our apartment was spotless when we returned home.
Brian was a wonderful sitter for our 11 year old dog and also took great care of our home. He sent me pictures every day and let me know how Macklin was doing which always helps ease my mind. Our home was clean and tidy when we returned and everything in its place. I'd recommend Brian to anyone looking for excellent care by a friendly person!
Cristina is simply the best house/pet sitter that we have ever had. She is responsible and dependable and an experienced dog owner. Our Wheaten, Bridie, adores her and misses her when she leaves.
Katie & Kevin jumped in last-minute, as our sitters had to cancel. And what can I say: We couldn't have chosen better even if we would had more choices and time. Katie & Kevin were so easy to communicate with and the first meeting and handoff were so easy and smooth. We could go on vacation with peace of mind knowing our dog and 2 ponies are in the best hands. Katie & Kevin: Thank you so much for looking after our animals so well !!!
Duha was such a light to have in our home while we were away. She kept us updated with beautiful photos of our dogs throughout her stay and didn’t leave their side once. I’ve never felt so comfortable with any other sitter and I truly hope this won’t be the last time she sits for us.
Christina is the best house and pet sitter that we have ever had. She leaves the house immaculate. She is independent, reliable, and totally professional. Communication is excellent. In terms of pet care, Christina is special. I think that she is a dog whisperer. Bridie, our crazy Wheaten, adores her and is sad when she leaves.
Oh my Goodness! Where to begin. Linda was the perfect house sitter for us and the perfect pet sitter for Olivia! She is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. When we returned from out two week vacation all our plants were alive, the garden was alive, the birds and fish had been fed regularly, and the dog was alive and happy! What more can you ask for, right? Well with Linda you get all that and more. Updates as you request - even videos of her morning walks with Olivia. The house as spotless as we left it, maybe even better! Even the porches were clean! Linda is a genuine treasure and our recommendation would be 10 stars if there were that many!!
Melissa and Chris are amazing. We are very picky about our dog sitters, and we chose them because they have been doing this for a long time and track your wants and needs carefully and follow through with utmost care and integrity. They offered to come the day before we left to meet Winnie so that we could rest in that she would trust them and connect to them. Honestly, we would hire them as our only dog sitter all of the time if we could. I cannot thank them enough and say enough good things about them. They also took very good care of our house and plants.

I’ll cut right to it before I start my rambling. Without hesitation, I give this facility & their staff a 10/10. The Snuggery was HIGHLY recommended to me, by a couple who frequently used this establishment for doggy daycare. My friends repeatedly claimed, their young German Shepherd, was a changed dog (less behavioral issues & WAY more manners) after just a few visits. Although I was told repeatedly, how AmAzInG this place is, I still hesitated to send Winter-The-Meanie-Poo (my new-to-me one-year-old rescue puppy I adopted two months ago, who has very little manners, no obvious prior training, incredible lack of social skills, abundance of attachment issues, an obvious past of abuse & tendency to be fearful/reactive/aggressive) … because I am a total worry-wart-helicopter-dog-Mom. But lemme tell yah, puppy behavior, living in an apartment & the frigid cold don’t mix well - so today I had enough of her chaos & off we went to check this place out. I was immediately (and genuinely) greeted by the sweetest receptionist, the facility appeared clean, organized & didn't smell like a stale pee pad. It’s safe to say, we started off pretty solid. I began expressing my (one million) Dog Mom fears. My concerns span across considerations for Winter, as an individual, as well as the staff that would be handling her. The receptionist patiently listened, reassured me & introduced another staff member, (who was also incredibly patient & empathetic) who then additionally reinforced their capabilities in caring for my most precious possession. Fast forward to pick up. Again, I was immediately warmly greeted when I arrived, even though I was not the only customer being helped. When it was my turn, she stood up with a huge smile & happily informed me, what a perfect angel my girl had been. She then went to the back, (which is visible through a window in the waiting area) where I could easily see her slip the leash over Winter’s head. Shockingly - without a struggle. The positive relationship between the two was obvious & there was absolutely no sign of stress! Blah blah blah - I’m totally rambling. If you made it this far, I appreciate your commitment to my long winded review. Bottom line, take your dogs HERE! Winter is home, happy & EXHAUSTED - just as I had hoped! I truly can’t say enough positive words to describe our experience today. I am SO happy I listened to my friends and chose The Snuggery. We will most certainly be frequent flyers & we hope you will be too!
I’ve boarded my dog here twice and I have had a great experience both times. My dog has some attachment issues, but he’s done well there both times, so I know the staff were attentive and let him socialize with the other dogs. Both times I’ve requested them to brush my dog’s teeth and both times he has come back squeaky clean. I’m very appreciative of the services they provide. I will continue to board here and recommend it to others.
Lisa is hands down the best groomer around! She is so loving and patient with our dogs! Liam was not the best client in the beginning but Lisa won him over and now she is known as his girlfriend ❤️ Thank you for taking great care of our fur babies!!
I have been bringing my golden retriever a few times a week for the last year for daycare. She also gets groomed at The Snuggery once a month. They are literally the BEST!!! I feel like we have really become part of the family at The Snuggery and they truly care about my dog as much as we do! We are so happy to have found such a caring and loving place for her to play!
Our dog Humphrey looks like such a handsome boy after his spa day with Laura, she did such an amazing job on him. He was such a happy boy when we picked him up, we will definitely be returning.
I have my two labs groomed by Lisa at the Snuggery. She does a terrific job and my dogs are happy to go in-which makes me happy and confident in the treatment they receive. I would highly recommend them.
Daisy smelled so good and looked so pretty when she was trimmed. And I know she is happy and they take good care of her during the visit because she prances out when we pick her up.
Lisa is amazing to work with. She truly loves our baby and is always so gentle with her. As she is getting older our baby is getting tougher to cut but Lisa still works with her as much as she lets her. Thank you Lisa for your kindness to our baby and for doing such an amazing job all these years!
I have been going to the Snuggery for eight years, Lisa has taken care of two of my dogs for grooming and does absolutely fabulous every time! My dog goes to day care and boards there when out of town, Karen , Brandy, and everyone take such great care of my boy. I always feel comfortable when he goes there. The Snuggery is the best place for grooming, daycare, and boarding needs!
Lisa does a wonderful job on our doodles and our old lab. They are always happy to go see her and get groomed.
This is absolutely the best kennel I have ever used! The owners are friendly and take time to play with the dogs. They have some large 10’ x 10’ kennels so when our 2 Golden Retrievers go there, they can stay in the kennel together! They will feed them our food and we can bring their beds and toys to make them feel at home. They have 3 fenced off play yards so they have a variety of types of play. When we pick up our dogs up, they run back & forth between us and the owners! It’s as if they are saying should we stay or go home? This is the ONLY place where I have ever had them act like that!
Our two dogs stayed with these folks for three weeks last summer. We're gearing up for another two week vacation this summer and I can rest assured that my boys will be taken care of. The facility is very clean and hospitable. Howl A Day is very affordable, as well. My one boy barked non-stop for the three weeks he was there and Greg had no problem tolerating it. He told me that "Diesel just thinks he's king of the castle around here." That still makes me laugh! We also received 'Report Cards' on our two dogs behavior while boarded. That was such a funny and sweet gesture. Can't thank these guys enough!
Our dog Max loves this place and we appreciate it at as well. We made use of this place numerous times over the last year +. Max seems happy and healthy when we pick him up at the end of his “vacation.” We will continue to be repeat customers for sure.
Great place to take your dogs for boarding. At just $18 a day your dog spends most of the day outside and they play with the dogs and give them attention for no extra money.
Best place for your pets. Well taken care of and loved just like home. Dog needs a nap when he comes back - he’s excited to go every time!
We've boarded our dog many times with Howl A Day and its reasonable price and our Bella is taken very good care of.
My dogs have been going to this boarding facility for several years and always have the best of care and attention.
Just like grammas house, my american skimo dog stayed very well for 2 weeks last during Christmas season, boarding her again this week
Great staff and facilities. Take good care of my dog. Highly recommend.
I think my dog Ozzy should be on the front page of the website because he loves it there so much
