Tracey is trustworthy and reliable, has given great care for our cockerpoo Poppy over this past 5 years, all our holidays and weekends away ,we have been able to relax knowing that Poppy is running around with other dogs and in Traceys amazing house and grounds ,she rushes in and we know she has great fun.

Our black lab Frankie has been going regularly for the past couple of years and loves it. All the dogs have their creature comforts and Frankie has his own spot on the sofa, so it is like a home from home for him. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tracey and the hairy hound nanny service.

Remy thoroughly enjoys her time at Hairy Hounds. We are assured she has the best care and fun with Tracy…. Top class service, wouldn’t have any hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

Tracey looked after Lilly for us in January of this year, 2023. Lilly was still a young lady at that time & we were nervous leaving her but we need not have worried at all as she was happy & healthy on our return & we have already booked her in for her next holibobs.

Introduction today with Chico our nervous chihuahua. He took to Tracey immediately, "you must be the guardian angel to dogs". 😇 Chico played with the other dogs and had a great time. ..he didn't want to leave! We will not hesitate to book him in and have no anxiety leaving our precious boy. I guess he will miss not being there. Thank you

Great place for your pets to go whilst you are away. The owner, Meg lives and breaths her charges. We've booked out cat Wellington in for two stays this year and another in Jan 2024. Pre booking visits are actively encouraged so you can have a look round before booking.

Meg looked after our lovely boy for a month whilst we relocated to North Wales. Meg was helpful, caring and kind, fitting in and changing dates as required. Meg's cat hotel is a cattery on another level of cat luxury, so I have no hesitation in saying that this is the best service I have seen for pet boarding. Five star review for a five star service.

Absolutely lovely place took such good care of my fur baby, while me and hubby celebrated our wedding anniversary! High recommend! And my boy loved having his own holiday to make new friends.

A big thank you to The Pet Joint for looking after Pig so well while we were away. He clearly had a fab time watching fish tv, chilling on the chaise longue and watching the birds outside. A lovely touch having photos posted on Facebook (it is if you’re crazy cat people like us 🤣). Great communication and clearly so much care in what they do. Would highly recommend for cats, dogs and small animals 💕

Our lively labrador stayed with steve and meg and their canine companions while we got married and went on honeymoon. Not only did they go the extra mile by offering a chaperone service so our boy could be at the wedding they thoroughly looked after him while we were away. The daily updates of photographs of him enjoying his dog holiday put our mind at ease, he was not missing us too much. So much so that it almost looked like he was far more interested in where his canine pals where when we picked him up. I would use and reccomend the pet joint again and again. What can I say? I chose The Pet Joint after asking on FB for recommendations as I wasn't from the area. Originally booked in for a few days, our Puffle ended up staying for three weeks due to a stressful and uncertain house move. I never once felt like an imposition & was continually told by Meg that it didn't matter and Puffle would be welcome to stay as long as necessary. Meg is an absolute credit to petcare and I am in no doubt that she treats all her charges as if they were her own. I wouldn't hesitate to use The Pet Joint again. Thank you so much 🤗

We booked our two cats and dog in for a short break at Pet Joint and were suitably impressed. The care and attention was second to none and the rooms and furnishings were really luxurious. Our little ones enjoyed the experience and arrived back with glowing coats and lots of new friends. Definitely worth considering if you love your pet and want them to enjoy a home away from home! Meg and Steve provide a first-rate, top quality, dog boarding service. Like other dog owners who won’t use kennels, we searched for ages for a suitable alternative for our dog and found it at The Pet Joint. Set in gorgeous North Wales countryside, the dogs have large grounds in which to exercise, sleep in their own, very spacious, rooms and have round-the-clock professional care and attention. Highly recommended.

Meg's a trusting and caring pet mum. She took great care of Roger recently, really efficient arrangements and lovely, kindly approach. Would most def. Reccomend.

Gary and his kennels are exceptional. He goes above and beyond care and love for the dogs and the kennels are 5 star hotels. Fully recommend his services and kennels. A good and caring organisation who put the animals and their care first. This includes meals.

Pup always returns happy and the same weight - not been the case at other kennels. The couple that run it are lovely.

Dropped our 3 dogs off the day before my wedding. My little 5 year old daughter was excited to see the kennels etc, the woman owner was very rude and abrupt with her. She simply wanted to stand next to me whilst I signed the forms (strange place etc), but the woman said "can you get your daughter out of the office please, it's not big enough..." It's a shed! Her and her husband were in there, me and my little hip height 5 yr old in the doorway! Didn't really make much difference. Anyway, that immediately put me on high alert. When we took the dogs to their kennel there were many other dogs in kennels all barking constantly. Most of them looked dirty and dishevelled, certainly didn't look happy! I very reluctantly left my 3 dogs there (mainly because I had to get to the hotel to sort wedding stuff and I knew everywhere else was booked up. I was then at the kennels by 08.30am the morning after my wedding to pick them up because I was that worried about them! Now, normally my dogs are extremely well behaved and do not pull on the lead, one of them walks to heal whenever we are out and doesn't need a lead. But when I collected them, all 3 practically pulled me off my feet to get to the car. Each kennel is just a concrete block with a metal gate. I call it Prisoner Cell Block H. Trust me, if you love your dog, don't leave them here!

I have just collected my boy from the lovely people at gatehouse kennels after our holiday. Easy drop off and pick up. Didn't look like he wanted to come home. Will definitely recommend to anyone who asks. He is so tired which tells me he's been very active as he has so much energy usually. Thank you so much. We would definitely use again.

This was the first time we have used the kennels. Our dog has often come home from previous kennels, very smelly from disinfectant and has put on weight. We picked him up and his coat was very glossy - he had not put weight on and did not smell. The owners are obviously real dog people who look after the dogs well. Thank you.

My dog was injured within half an hour of arriving, meaning she had to be taken to the vets. She had torn one of the front pads and nail completely free of the paw and subsequently we discovered she had a back injury. Her treatment cost just under £1000, she’s never fully recovered and we had to postpone travel. The owners refused to speak to me and lied about the circumstances. Be very careful leaving your pet here.

I only take Toby here Alan and Sara look after him so well and he s not easy being a tipical terrior he has regular walk s and is always happy to go and stay i would recommend the gatehouse kennels to anyone who is looking for somewhere to board they're dog

She absolutely loves her time there and gets excited as soon as we take the turn, recognising the place right away — it really says a lot! Vicky and the team provide amazing care, always sending us pictures and updates while we’re away. It makes us feel at ease knowing she’s at a home away from home. She always comes back happy and content. We highly recommend Petz Ark!

I would highly recommend Petz Ark. Victoria is lovely and very knowledgeable when it comes to the needs of the dogs staying with her in her home. I loved the photo and video updates which put my mind at ease. It really is a home from home.

Excellent place to leave you pets, they will be very well looked after

Lianne does drop in visits for our two cats when we go on holidays. It gives us great peace of mind to know that they will be well looked after by a highly experienced pet sitter who clearly loves the animals that she works with. We always come home to two very happy cats. Highly recommend!

Lianne looked after Bobby, my gorgeous cockapoo regularly. He loved going and got excited when I said "let's go and see Aunty Lianne", and in fact wouldn't walk past the end of her drive on days when he wasn't due to be there, as he had so much fun and received lots of love and care. He went for day care, and also for full weeks when we were on holiday. He loved going, and I felt happy and relaxed knowing he was in a beautiful homely environment. 100% recommend.

We used to leave our dog with Leanne,I can say our dog loved going to see her, her care and knowledge was second to none. I was at total peace of mind when he went to her care, knowing he was in safe caring hands.

Deborah and her husband are lovely couples. They take care of animals like dogs, cats. They also have a horses too. I have used the cattery and dogs for over 30 years.

Thank you so much to Debs for looking after Goldie for two weeks whilst we went off adventuring. Goldie had a super time, she was so happy upon collection and Debs made it easy for us to to drop her off with her lovely nature. My young daughter was really upset about having to leave Goldie in kennels and was quite upset but with a big hug from Debs and photos throughout our holiday it was all made better. Thank you so much for your kindness and your attentiveness. We will definitely be bringing Goldie back when we next go on holiday! If you’re in the area and need a kennel then look no further, this place is an absolute gem!

Our Rottie had a good time at these kennels, her tail was up on collection and she was clean. We would definitely use these kennels again. Debbie was very friendly and welcoming on arrival and collection.

Our very nervous Lurcher Pippin stayed for a month with Debs and Mal and he was so well looked after that I had no worries at all. Just collected our three (two cats and a dog) from Debbie, after another excellent visit. The furries always come home happy and healthy, and from the time I drop them off to the time I pick them up, I know they're in good hands.

Felt so sad to leave my boy as we’ve been stuck to each other since we got him (just before lockdown). Soon as I arrived I felt happy to leave him with Debbie as she was so reassuring and clicked with my boy the moment we got there. So please with the service and will defiantly use Debbie again. Cat came home very stressed. My cat was left in its carrying box when I arrived at 9-30 to collect her its fortunate that I arrived to collect her at that time. Had I arrived at 10-30 I dread to think what state she would have been in. Will never use in future very poor practice.

My girls are very well cared for here.

My dog loves it here. He has been going here now for 3 and a half years. He gets exercised 4 times a day off lead. He is kept warm in heated kennels with a bed and warm bedding and food . The owners have alot of knowledge about dogs and there wellbeing. This puts my mind at ease because I know my dog is safe. I wouldn't just leave my dog anywhere. I can see my dog is happy here and just goes straight in tail wagging. The staff are lovely and kind and love dogs. We will be back thank you for looking after my gelert

Our two little dogs, Cairn & Cairn Westie X, have just arrived home after their 3 week stay with Tanis and Frank at Trefdraeth Kennels. This is the first time they have been in kennels and we were very worried they wouldn't be happy. We needn't have been. They look so happy and healthy and have clearly been cared for extremely well. Although they have little contact with other dogs, after a few days causing chaos barking at everyone they now seem to be uninterested in the other dogs and get along fine. The kennels are very well organised and the cages and excercise area clean and tidy. If you are looking for a kennels who put the care and welfare of your dogs first then you will struggle to find a better kennels than Trefdraeth and we cannot recommend them highly enough.
