Laura was absolutely amazing! I wish we could have her house sit for us every time we go away. It was so lovely to meet her before hand and she put us at ease straight away. One of our cats isn’t usually friendly with strangers, but we could tell that he was instantly comfortable with her in the house. H was a delightful housesitter. He is a fascinating conversationalist, extremely tidy, and a real lover of dogs. Cowboy took to him immediately maybe because of the many walks, back scratches, and belly rubs that he sensed were coming. H also took care of the yard, watered plants, and kept the fountains full. I would be happy to have H stay in my house and sit for my dog anytime. He is on my list of go to Housesitters.

Marlen was such a blessing. We had another sitter cancel just a week before our vacation date so I was so relieved that she was able to step in at such short notice. She came to meet our pups a few days in advance so they would recognize her. While we were away, Marlen sent picture updates and made sure the dogs were cared for. So glad to have found someone like her to help us out.

We’re so grateful for the love and care Vanessa gave our two dogs while we were traveling for a weekend. During our trip, she sent us pictures and our dogs always looked happy and at ease. Even during a thunderstorm she cared for our scared older dog who unfortunately had a little accident, and she cleaned up with no complaint. We didn’t have to worry at all which let us truly enjoy our weekend away knowing our dogs were in the best hands! Vanessa was clean and tidy. We returned home to a neat house and happy pups! David was a great sitter for our dog! It was just him for this sit. He was very communicative before, during, and after the stay. He visited the apartment before we left to meet our dog and talk with us, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and confident that our dog was in good hands. He sent us updates throughout the stay, and left the apartment in great condition. While our dog is on the older side, he can still be a handful at times, but David didn’t seem to have any problems. Would definitely recommend David for any future sit!

Brian is awesome - he is simply the best pet sitter and house sitter that we have EVER had and we've had a bunch. He is experienced, thoughtful, respectful, loving, appreciative, helpful, enthusiastic...the list just goes on. Started with our initial call - it was our first sit with zeewoi and he immediately instilled confidence in us in how he talked about his experience and how he saw his role. In the pre-planning, he had great questions for us and helped us to get organized. He was thorough through the instructions, came in a day early to make sure he understood everything about our house and our dog and then followed through on everything. He even drove us to the airport and picked us up on the return. Along the way we were gone, he sent us pictures and kept us updated - always making us feel good about being away and knowing Jorge and the house were in great hands. We had workers coming to fix a fence while gone and some other activity at the house - he was helpful, available, and willing to do whatever was needed to be done. He was self-sufficient and when it came time to leave, he had everything organized and cleaned at the house - he left it in better condition than he received it. We would love to have Brian sit whenever we are away (and in fact will invite him and hope he says yes!) - any one would be lucky to have Brian as their house and pet sitter.

They took very good care of my pets which involved feeding cats twice daily, fish once or twice a day and filling up fountain for birds. Animals were healthy and happy when I returned. Nothing was lost or broken, and Diane even found a lost grinder part that had fallen into the cats food while I was using it. They are a pleasant couple. They were invited from Wednesday to Sunday. They arrived on Monday so had 3 days instead of one to learn the pets routine. They also informed me that they wouldn't be leaving until Monday morning, but that worked out well since I was mistaken about the end date of my cruise and couldn't get home until Monday. Everything was left neat, but I had minor housekeeping to do (clean sink, fingerprints off glass table, sweep floor). They are older than stated on the profile, which they said only allows 65 as a top age. 68 and 73. Bruce has health problems that requires he sleeps sitting up in a chair that has a leg lift, which luckily I had, so he slept in my living room. They are fine caring for cats, but my friend with a dog decided to find another sitter rather than leave him with them (she was going to pay) because they seem somewhat frail.

To this list of attributes I would add flexible, capable, sensitive, extremely good with the dogs even if one of mine is sometimes a little ornery, and just a wonderful person all around. Because of constantly changing circumstances due to a move and coronavirus, my dogs ended up spending not two weeks but a whole month with John and they were so comfortable and happy. John helped them in so many ways and coordinated shipping them overseas, he went above and beyond the wildest stretches of what a house sitter entails and did it with a smile and a laugh and reassurances that all would be well. And indeed he was absolutely right - the dogs arrived so well cared for that all my fears of them being traumatized went out the window. John’s flexibility, and his kindness as well as his impeccable maintenance of my house in my absence all make me recommend him an absolute 10 out of 10. Thank you John for all your help this summer!! I cannot thank Jenny and Geoff enough for stepping in at the last minute after the original sitter cancelled. They are a great couple, friendly , organised and extremely capable. Also they LOVE animals. My dog and cat have clearly been given a great deal of care and attention in my absence. Jenny kept in touch with notes and lovely photos, Geoff cut my grass and I came home to a spotlessly sparkling house ! Thank you so much! Jenny and Geoff are welcome back anytime and I would not hesitate to recommend them as excellent sitters.

Mecca has always loved animals. But she doesn't just do pet sitting! If you are going on a short or extended trip, she will spend time with your pets while you're away. She also does dog walking, as well.

So my friends and I rarely get days off together. When we did we decided to go to Monterey. We brought our 2 dogs and unfortunately we cant bring them to Aquarium. Last minute I called Signature Paw Spa and luckily they have availability. I dropped my dogs just 15-20 mins after I called them and we all were able to go to the aquarium. They are really nice people and had kept me updated about my babies from time to time and My babies seemed to have enjoyed their time at Tonya's. I definitely recommend them
It was my first time leaving my 5 month old puppy with a pet sitter, and Signature Pet Spa/Tonya was awesome to put both me and my pup at ease. Tonya managed to work me in even though I called the day before I needed a pet sitter. She sent updates and pictures of my puppy enjoying her day, and my pup came back to me happy and well exercised when I picked her up. I definitely will be using Signature Pet Spa again!
Hands down the best dog experience!!!! I’ve used many dog services while traveling and I have to say ginger loved this place the moment she arrived. The owner came out to greet her and I when we arrived, which is a wonderful added bonus compared to some other place I have been to. The property offers a big grassy area for her to run and play, I was thrilled to see Tanya bonded perfectly from the moment ginger arrived. We called to get last minute day care for our dog, Gunner, during the US Open. The owner was so accommodating and made our pup feel right at home. If you are traveling to the area from out of town I would highly recommend this place if you are in need of doggie day care!

Easily 10 stars out of 5!!! Jen met us and our two dogs for a day visit a couple weeks ago. Our dogs had been total homebodies and never socialized with other dogs. Jen made us at ease and when we picked them up they were happy, exhausted and had played with the other dogs all day. She said she would introduce the dogs one at a time and make them comfortable. We were so happy with the day visit we used her for a four day vacation. This location is Disneyland for doggies. Jen and her family love the dogs and interact with them all day and night. We received daily updates, pictures and videos. This is above and beyond what we had received at another boarding location. Knowing our dogs were safe and happy allowed us to enjoy our trip. Jen even worked one on one with our two dogs, teaching the pup to play well with the little dog. She is truly amazing and we recommend her and will be using her for more trips in the future.
Beyond 5 Stars! We are locals and were going on vacation to Europe and needed a place to leave our Aussie. She's really sensitive to the noise of garbage trucks and UPS/FedEx trucks so we were hoping for something quiet. The Kloud 9 property is set 'up above the road' and is accessible by a narrow driveway, too small for the above mentioned trucks - so quiet for our dog! Jen kept us updated with emails and many photos of our dog having a great time with many of the other dogs boarding there. Knowing our pup was well cared for and having a good time made us feel great. When we got back we could tell that our dog was happy to see us but was sad to be leaving Jen and Kloud 9.
We love Kloud 9 Ranch. Our dog is so well taken care of there. Jen, the owner, is a veterinary tech and she loves to work with dogs. She has done very good things with our "reactive" dog and she always has such "spot-on" insights into our dog's behavior.
Walter loves coming here. Jen gives him so much attention. He comes home exhausted from so much fun. The place is sparkling clean, doesn't reek of dog and Jen is just so nice to work with. We wish her many many more years of success, because I'd hate to take our dog anywhere else.
I contacted Kloud 9 Ranch via email in an attempt to board my dog, and never received a response. When several days passed, I called to no answer and subsequently sent a text to follow-up. I received a very short response saying they are not taking new clients, which is fine, however if I would've received a response I would've looked elsewhere and not have been in a pickle trying to board my dog on short notice. I thanked the owner and simply asked/recommended that they post that on the website or respond to reservation requests with that information. I was completely shocked when I received the most unprofessional response: "If I had time for that I would but I do not and since you feel the need to give advice I will return the favor. Don't assume you know anything about anyone before you speak to them personally." While anyone can understand that life events happen that limit people's time, it is ludicrous to me that a business owner would take such a rude approach to a potential client. Word to the wise to anyone considering reaching out to this person for dog boarding, save yourself the time and curt interaction.
This is a beautiful impressive place where dogs and people are treated personally and with respect, attention to detail, careful planning and a background of experience. It is a fun and relaxing mood up there, but also no-nonsense ....about health, security and discerning and meeting individual needs.

Her and Dan were overly communicative about how to organize a wedding package as they had not already established one, and they were so flexible. Maurie was great about keeping our dog near the party, but never in the way. Our dog was so happy to be a part of the day and he really got along so well with Maurie. We are convinced he would have played with her all day. He seemed to be so in love with her when she picked him up and dropped him off. They truly cared about making it a special day for us, as well as keeping our dog in great spirits, and we cannot recommend them enough!!!
My husband Steve and I have been clients of Monterey Pet Care since January 2012. It is an excellent company with quality staff - reliable, trustworthy, and accommodating. Initially, we arranged for daily walks for our two labrador retrievers when I was working full-time and my husband was recovering from hip surgery. But due to our busy lives and the excellent experience we had in the beginning, we have continued with a regular daily walk for our dogs since then. We trust them, and they really ease our load! We are concerned "parents". We center our lives around the dogs, because not only are they wonderful and loving family dogs, they are active, energetic dogs who need a lot of exercise. And because we have had dogs of all ages since January 2012 - young adult dogs, elderly dogs, and puppies - one dog with knee problems, and even one who had chemotherapy, we can attest that the walkers are good with all ages and conditions. We feel fortunate to have found Monterey Pet Care with its very dependable, friendly, and professional walkers. They arrive on time and treat our dogs and everyone they meet with respect. If owners have preferences, they will do their best to follow them - for us, this means they lock the doors when they leave even if we are home.

My Cavapoo Ollie had his very first hair cut/spa day with Michelle and we were thrilled! Michelle is so gentle, caring and knowledgeable and my pup loves her. I would never take him anywhere else. And she not only does an amazing job, she is efficient and Ollie never has to go in a crate and wait to be groomed for hours. She picks him up and drops him off and he is always so excited to see her so I know he is good hands. I have been using Michelle to pet sit my precious mini schnauzer, Pearl, and cat, Peanut, for several years. She is very knowledgeable on animals, and gives them tons of love when I'm out of town. I was looking for day care for my 1 year old pup and was able to find Jackie through google. She was able to take him 5 days a week, full time, which was what me and my boyfriend were looking for. The meet and greet was great. She really wanted to make my pup feel comfortable. As the days went by, my pup was super excited each morning to see Jackie. She keeps us posted with our pup throughout the day and is extremely reliable! Would recommend to anyone trying to board or day care.
We meet Jackie over a year ago at puppy training. We were looking for someone to board our golden retriever puppy for a weekend. Our Lola was well taken care of and had a blast socializing with other dogs. She now goes 3 days a week for doggie daycare. She looks forward to seeing Jackie and her pups. Jackie goes above and beyond to make sure every dog gets the attention they need through out the day 💛
Jackie (of Precious Paws) is amazing. We adopted a sweet but stubborn half-grown pup, and Jackie has worked hard to teach our dog some manners. Our dog loves going to see Jackie every day, because she’s given tasks to do, but also treated with love. Jackie has made a world of difference!
I boarded my 10 month old GSD puppy with Jackie for 5 days and I was extremely happy with how well she cared for my dog. I received daily updates and pictures of my pup and that really helped me since it was my first time away from him. Due to snow storms my flight was cancelled and I couldnt make it back in time for the pickup. Jackie went above and beyond to help board my dog for an extra night. My original dog sitter canceled on me at the last minute when I was ALREADY out of town and I called Jackie from Precious Paws who came through for me in a big way. Not only did she come pick him up and watched him until I came back in town, but she sent me updates that included pictures and just text messages that just left me know that he is in great hands and from the looks of things he made himself really comfortable on the couch. This is the exact kind care I was looking for. I didn't want to put him in a place where he was going to be another dog in a cage. I wanted him to have fun minus me and my son and that is exactly what I got. I am so happy with the care and will be back there for services again.
Our experience with Precious Paws was amazing. Jackie took care of our dog while we were out of town. It was a peace of mind knowing he was in great hands. We’ll definitely use her services again.

Jackie is amazing. She is very responsive and flexible. I started going to her after looking for a dog sitter that was closer to my home. She is much more than a dog sitter. Her dog training experience and loving nature elevates her services. Recently, I went on a trip far away and Jackie was only able to watch my dog for a portion of the time I was gone. After I was not able to find other options, she offered to take care of him and drop him off at the second boarding place. She also fed him white rice and boiled chicken when his stool was too soft. Even though she does not take dogs with soft stool she cared for mine as if he were her own. Thank you Jackie. I'm only sad that I'm moving soon and won't be able to see you much longer.
