Yarra valley has taken care of our dogs Akira and Manny like their own and diligently posted photos of playtime and their health parameters on the pet portal and also very patiently answered our daily calls to them! Their regular updates and the fact that they weigh pets every alternate day gives me great confidence that they're being well taken care of. Our pups also came back smelling great and feeling soft after a bath just the day before we had to pick them up. They always come back happy and looking healthy from yarra valley pet resort

My precious dogs were so diligently and professionally cared for at Yarra Valley Pet Resort. Our Australian Bulldog is full of " personality" and the staff just took his exuberance in their stride..and not only that they enjoyed his company. That's the sign of true animals carers doing what they do best. The booking process was clear and the staff reaponded quickly whenever I had a query. We will come back to Yarra Valley Pet Resort again and again.

I could not recommend Yarra Valley Pet Resort enough! I met someone along the Warrandyte river who said there isn't anyone else they would trust their dog with. I can 100% confirm that and could not agree more. They have been a God send when Thaison has needed care. He has been going since he was a puppy. Andrea and her team are amazing and I can rest assured knowing he is in excellent hands and is well looked after and cared for. Thaison loves going to the resort and I get the feeling he does not want to leave sometimes. I have no doubt he has the best time there. The prices are excellent too. So grateful to the team for looking after my baby!

Andrea and the team at Yarra Valley Pet Resort are wonderful. They go to great lengths to make sure every dog’s needs are met. Even the fussy little ones like mine. She’s been going there for seven years now. Without them, I wouldn’t have been able to travel much. I can leave her there with great peace of mind knowing that she’ll be very well cared for. We couldn't be happier with the incredible service from Yarra Valley Pet Resort! Our dogs came back not only well-groomed and squeaky clean but also beautifully dressed for our wedding. The team at Yarra Valley Pet Resort are a cut above other providers: kind, caring, responsive, thoughtful and attentive. They ensured that the dietary requirements for my dog was adhered to, sent interim updates on how my dog was settling in and socialising, thought ahead and gave him a bath a day before I was due to collect him, corresponded with me and my family in a timely way and took the best care of him. I had complete peace of mind that he was receiving the best care while I was overseas and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or rebook. The team offer terrific value for money in comparison to other providers (who should probably lift their game). Thanks Yarra valley pet resort! We’ll see you again. Just look at how happy my dog was when I collected him. Shiny eyes don’t lie! :)

We have been loyal customers for many years and our dogs have loved going there. However due to an ownership change recently the place is an absolute shambles. The communication is absolutely horrendous, their price increase is outrageous. We went on holiday for over 3 weeks in August and for our 2 babies to be in a resort room was $82 a day (which is fantastic). We had our dogs booked in again for our wedding last week and they tried telling us that they had no booking at all (even though I had an email saying they were) then tried to tell us their new price was $185 a day for both dogs??? They’re absolutely kidding themselves! Absolute Criminals! Not only there is no early checkout, but if you pic your dogs up before 10:30am they still want to rip you off for the whole day as you have to pay upfront. We have found another beautiful place that has put our needs and our puppies needs before their wallet so we will no longer be going back! Good luck for the future. You will need it.

Ruebin & Amara recently stayed at The Yarra Vally pet resort they have stayed there 5 times always happy. They were very well looked after and we are taking them back for another stay soon.Everyone at the resort was great.

YVPR have looked after Frankie for the past 3 years, and we feel so comfortable knowing she's in the care of Andrea and the team when we're away. After Frankie was attacked by two big dogs at our home, we were terrified about letting her interact with dogs again. However, the team have made her feel so safe during all of her previous stays, that she can happily still go and run around with the other little dogs and we can relax in the knowledge that she's being cared for so lovingly and still getting to socialise ☺️.

I've left my dog with the Yarra Valley Pet Resort multiple times and have always had a great experience. They genuinely care about her and have always had nice things to say about her when checking out. It's always hard to leave my fur-baby, but I feel she is in safe hands here. Highly recommended.

Our two border collies, Bob and Mabel, loved their 3 week holiday with Jarrod and Ashlee at Upper Yarra Boarding Kennels. This was the second time they have bordered here recently and both times they have come back happy, healthy and fluffy! Excellent grooming from Jarrod is added benefit! Border collies can be sensitive and highly strung but our guys have come back as though they’ve been in a dog spa for the last three weeks - they are the ones who’ve been on holidays! Thanks especially for the flexibility around the change in pick up dates. Just a breeze and it was great to know our fellas were in such safe hands with the delay. Can’t recommend highly enough

We were met by Jarrad who straight away gave us a great sense of confidence. Our border collie, who incidentally hates any form of washing, was immediately relaxed. We picked him up a few hours later and he was well groomed, happy and obviously well looked after.

Jarrod is so lovely and his compassion and caring for animals really shines through.My little Spoodle always comes home looking like a little princess and she gets treated like one too.Highly recommend for a professional service.

It was the first time I had taken my two small dogs to Jarrod, but they seemed unphased by the change. Not only did they look very smart after the groom, but Jarrod discovered a tumour on Lulu's neck. My vet has been alerted to it. I'll definitely be back!

Had such a wonderful experience with Jarrod, my German shepherd received such excellent care and has never looked more handsome and feels and smells like a dream. I highly recommend Jarrod to anyone looking for a friendly groomer that wants amazing results.

Timmy and Fiona love an overnight stay! It’s great to know that our old dogs are so well looked after if we need to go away for the weekend.

We have now had two experiences with Upper Yarra Boarding Kennels and they have both been fantastic. I have two anxious border collies and I was very apprehensive about putting them in a kennel. Toby and Bella stayed for 10 days in January and the service was excellent. The dogs came home happy and in good condition, and the communication throughout the stay was wonderful, responding in a timely manner to all my enquiries about how they were going. We recently had both dogs groomed here too. Jarrod was wonderful and very patient with Toby who had never been groomed before due to the anxiety and reactivity. He took his time and was able to successfully groom Toby. We will absolutely be taking the dogs back for a groom and to stay at the boarding kennel.

We picked up our darling Xivu today after his first holiday away from us. He had a wonderful time at Upper Yarra Boarding Kennel, and was clearly very well looked after. The surroundings are gorgeous, and the owners clearly love what they do. Communication between the owners and us while we were on holiday was excellent, and we even got a beautiful Christmas card of our sweet pup on Christmas Day! Will definitely return. Highly recommend - 5 stars!

I signed Bob up for Kip's "Board & Train" program as I was going away, and wanted Bob to learn basic dog manners (not pulling towards other dogs/not pulling on the leash during walks). The staff at Kip are respectable, patient, and truly give all the love and attention your pooch deserves. Kip Homestead is located on a massive space, so there are plenty opportunities for your dog to learn new tricks and run around with some new friends (dogs are protected from each other by a fence). Olivia was assigned as Bob's trainer; she is incredible and our dog Bob absolutely loves her. I've seen her with other dogs too from the other videos on Kip, and it's the same with them. She's knowledgeable, confident, and just knows how to work with dogs (and people). I appreciated all the regular updates about Bob and his progress! And I also want to thank Olivia for the thorough handover at the end of the program to ensure that I'm able to continue the same level of training at home. Highly recommend the Board & Train program to anyone who wants help to improve their dog's overall behaviour/want somewhere safe to board their dog while going away. I've already recommended this place to all of my friends with dogs and I'm excited to see their pooch's progress. I'll be sending Bob here next time I go away (and I'm sure he'll be excited to be back at Kip Homestead)!

We’ve seen huge improvements in Dirks reactivity and general manners since we picked him up from his board and train program. His trainer Catherine provided lots of updates over the three weeks to keep us at ease and provided comprehensive guidance at the handover session so that we can continue his training at home. We will definitely bring Dirk back in for more top up sessions in future.

“Exceptional Training Experience with Kip Stay Homestead!” I can’t recommend Kip Stay Homestead enough! Our black lab, Charlie, recently completed their 21-day training program, and the results are beyond amazing. Olivia worked wonders with him—Charlie is now so much calmer and significantly less reactive to his environment. One of the most noticeable improvements is his loose leash walking—it’s like night and day. Seeing this new version of Charlie has made every penny spent on the program absolutely worth it. We know the work doesn’t stop here, but Olivia gave us an extensive and thorough handover, ensuring both my boyfriend and I feel confident in maintaining Charlie’s progress at home. Kip Stay Homestead has truly transformed our life with Charlie. If you’re considering training for your dog, this is the place to go! Our handsome Smooth Collie, Hugo, spent 3 weeks with David, the master of working dogs. From the moment we met David, he was confident and straightforward about what might be going on in our pup’s tiny head, based on his working breed heritage. We were immediately relieved, knowing that Hugo would be in good hands during our trip. While Hugo already has good manners and a gentle soul, he had been showing some unwanted reactivity towards strange/unfamiliar things/people. David and the team at Kip listened to our concerns, worked with Hugo, and cleared up some misunderstandings we had about his alert barking. Hugo is now handling new situations much better, because we, as owners, understand what he needs in order to manage his vigilant nature. The handover 1:1 session was very helpful, as was the online course, which I can revisit at any time. David also sent some additional information afterward, which showed the care and attention Hugo received during his stay. While the training wasn’t 100% force-free so that I can’t say it’s concurrent as in trend, we genuinely appreciated the efforts and care Hugo received during his time there. From the pupdates we received irregularly, we could tell Hugo was comfortable, with his tail wagging happily to the right. Overall Hugo will be going back to Kip Homestead whenever we can't take him with us.

We left our 2yo dog reactive Goldie with Cathrine for 3 weeks in the board and train program. We went in not expecting miracles, but to help move along in handling our girl day to day, understanding how to approach situations out of our control and getting her better on leash. It’s honestly night and day to when we dropped her off. Cathrine was very real with us, which we appreciated, that our girl just isn’t a dog’s dog. And likely never will be, but that’s ok. She has helped her walk on leash so much better to the point where, now a few weeks after picking her up, we can now go for 20 - 30 minute street walks without anxiety of what to do if another dog passes by. She even has got to the point of sniffing another dog for a few seconds and not showing aggression / fear. We know that she won’t ever be a dog who can be off leash and play with other dogs, but we have been blown away by the progress she made and tips in our toolkit to continue these good behaviours. Our regret is not finding Kip earlier in her life and leaving her with you guys. We loved the update videos and they provided us lots of laughs and happiness while away from her for a few weeks. We will definitely bring her for another stay at board and train when we are away next!!

My 6 year old GSD had her first stay over the weekend, and we couldn't be happier! She has had a few issues in the past with fear aggression and they addressed her care very diligently, the updates we received daily were very reassuring and when we picked her up today she was so happy and looked beautiful! She had no issues, and we are so impressed with Kip and can't wait for our puppy to have her next stay 😊 it's a bit on the pricier side, but well worth it!

Our dog Coco recently stayed here for 3 weeks while we were away and we honestly couldn’t be happier. From the very first moment, it’s obvious how much the team at Kip genuinely love and care about the dogs. We looked forward to the daily updates and photos to let us know how she was going which made it so much easier to be away (especially for our kids!). We booked daily bushwalks and a couple of training sessions for her stay and she was freshly bathed when we picked her up. Our only concern was that she wouldn’t want to come home ☺️ thank you so much to the team for taking such good care of our girl.

I recently enrolled my Pomeranian puppy, Little Foot, in the board and train program at Kip, and the experience exceeded all my expectations. David, our trainer, was absolutely incredible. His expertise, patience, and genuine love for animals were evident from the start. He took the time to understand Little Foot's unique personality and tailored the training to suit his needs. Throughout the program, David provided regular updates and insights, ensuring I felt confident and informed about Little Foot's progress. Little Foot has returned full of joy and is now more obedient, calm, and confident. The techniques David used were not only effective but also gentle and compassionate, which was very important to us. He taught Little Foot essential commands and addressed specific behavioral issues, making our day to day life much smoother and more enjoyable in the long run. I am beyond grateful for David's dedication and the comprehensive care Little Foot received at Kip.I wholeheartedly recommend the board and train program to anyone looking to improve their pet's behaviour and to overall give their furry babies a good little holiday. Our Violet spent 3 weeks at Kip with Olivia and we were absolutely blown away with how far she came in 3 weeks. The regular updates of Vi became a bit of a weekly highlight for us to see her smiling and clearly having a great time. Olivia was honestly brilliant, we couldn't have asked for anything more, our pup has come back far less anxious, far more engaged and the handover session has made us feel like we can continue on the great work that Olivia started. We could not recommend both Kip and Olivia any higher!!

Cannot thank David and the team at Kip enough. Eldin recently came in for the Board and train program as he was reactive with other dogs and became hard for me to control when his emotional state was so high. The difference from drop off to pick up was absolutely amazing. I also now have the confidence to continue the training with the abundance of information I have to refer to. The staff are all lovely and the grounds are spectacular. Highly recommended. And as you can see, the smile on Eldins face says it all.

The best boarding kennel we've ever used. Wouldn't recommend anyone else. We've used them several times for both long and short stays. Our dog has always been treated very well. Your pets are in safe hands with Pipsqueaks!

Morris recently had a week stay at dogdayz Silvan. Even though he is a bit of a loner and enjoys his own company, he is happy to socialize with other dogs when he wants too. On the other had he loves the staff and they are fantastic with him. He always comes home exhaused but healthy and happy. We will only ever use here as we know he is so well looked after.

Cannot express how much we love Dogdayz at Silvan. Our two dogs have been visiting fortnightly for the past two month's to familiarise themselves with the staff and their surroundings. We have just picked them up after a 10 day stay and cannot be any more happier. The level of attention and care is amazing as our little Chloe has a medical condition and was well looked after with her daily meds. We also received a report on how they interacted and ate daily. Both Chloe and Jaxon were washed and came running out with smiles. After searching for the best place to leave our pups, I highly recommend Dogdayz at Silvan. Thank you and well done to the staff at Silvan.

Our girl Bailee is a regular at Dogdayz Silvan a few days a week for daycare and twice now for when we’ve gone on holidays she’s stayed in for boarding. She absolutely loves it and has made lots of doggy friends so she has a ball whenever she goes. Heidi and all the staff at silvan are fantastic and they make sure Bailee is happy and well looked after. Lots of cuddles and you can see that all the dogs are so happy. Bailee won’t be going anywhere else but dogdayz silvan we love it 😊

Both of my babies (Panda and Boo) love being here, they are both well looked after and are able to board/sleep together, which is very important to me. I love that there is a daily note on how they are doing, the cost is really affordable. Very friendly and kind staff. I would recommend Dogdayz to anyone.

I've only ever boarded my Labrador once at another kennels and he came out very unhappy with some strange marks on his back paws. So I was nervous about him going into kennels again. The staff at Dogdayz were very friendly and professional. My boy Max, after his first day of being a little wary, had the time of his life. I know he would have loved the outside space in such a lovely environment. He came out a very happy boy. A big tick for Dogdayz Silvan.🐾🐾

Disgraceful. You people received two happy, healthy, well-socialised wolfhounds to take care of, claiming you had experience of giant breeds and their requirements, and your additional marketing for 'special needs'. You don't even deserve one star. If I could give you minus points I would but google doesn't allow it. I am so upset about your staff's treatment of my beautiful boy. I received the odd verbal update over the phone informing me all was well other than requesting extra funds and that the boys being a bit fussy with their food and that you were experts who had everything in hand. I even authorised extra funding to purchase their regular food (initially sold your regular diet as being high quality with the addition of of sardines, chicken etc which my boys love) because a week plus in, I was informed they weren't eating. Initially I thought this was merely a disruption to routine and maybe some separation anxiety. I thought they may just he being a little picky. I saw some questionable social media updates where you shamelessly and without permission, used my boys 'as reindeer' harnessed to a cart containing an adult male dressed as Santa, sitting in a cart which neither they nor I consented to because 'santa' ended up on the floor and both boys looked unhappy at best. When I spoke to staff they were adamant the boys weren't coerced despite no consent being sought. The photos speak for themselves. Both boys arrived home with swollen, inflamed and lacerated hygromas on their elbows which they've never had, and the 'notes' you emailed to me 40 minutes before my arrival to collect them ,which I did not have time to read properly and respond to in person, have caused great distress. Attached to the email was an invitation for feedback via phone call/ email and a request for a review. I am way to upset to speak to anyone without breaking down and have submitted a partial email response. Here is my review. My boy who throughout your 'report' was referred to as 'naughty', 'doesn't listen and doesn't care' and required 'staff to get quite physical with him', which quite frankly sounds abusive, has returned home with an inverted left rear leg and obvious bilateral weakness having previously been a young physically healthy and strong hound, checked over by our vet just days before admission to your facility, is also displaying overt signs of reactivity, fearfulness and introversion. I will be taking him for a full physiological and psychological evaluation with our long-term vetinarian who's known him since he was 12 weeks old. You will be fully informed of the results. FYI, our other boy who you incorrectly determined to be 'correcting' the behaviour you identified as 'problematic' was actually protecting him, as I informed you of verbally on the phone. Given you allowed him to be attacked by a German shepherd and then allowed yet another exposure, this was a natural response. Yet your response was to put my sensitive boy in isolation, Further punishing him by depriving him of social interaction because of size discrimination if your notes are to be believed. I was going to respond to this privately via email, but I want to warn other specialist breed owners to exercise caution before accepting your convincing sales pitch at face value. Caveat emptor.If you have any problems with this, I strongly suggest you go back and read the report sent to me by the staff I trusted to take care of my beautiful boys. ***Addendum to the above, regarding the response from the kennel, I have attached a screenshot of my FB public post response***

Was a bit nervous leaving Norman in a new boarding facility but the staff were super friendly, welcoming and thorough when asking about his meal routines and anything they may need to look out for or now with regards to his behavior. Norman can get cranky and act out when overtired so this was our main concern when leaving him at an unfamiliar place for him so when the staff let us know that he could get plenty of time out and rest when needed, we felt so much better leaving him in their care. Norman came home a very happy and tired doggy after his 4 days of boarding and the staff were so great in letting us know how he went and also forwarding their daily notes from his stay. Turns out, Norman was Mr Popularity! But as promised, was given plenty of rest between plays. Thank you to all the staff at Dogdayz for taking such good care of our boy! We will definitely use your services again!

A great place to look after your puppa when your away. Staff give them lots of love and attention, cater to special requests, great socialisation with other dogs, post photos on Facebook twice a week, and give you a written note of how they went each day. My mini spoodle is always happy n healthy when I bring him home.

A brilliant experience. I have two little chihuahuas that never leave my side. When picking them up after mum 3 week holiday they were excited to see me, however they also fell in love with Jodie and her helpers and almost didn't want to go back hone 😆. That shows you how much A Dogs Domain and Cats Too care for our 4 legged children. Best place ever 10/10 !

A Dog and Cats Domain Too were amazing! The property is beautiful with large accommodations for dogs, We had our 2 dogs stay for 9 nights, they came home happy and tired. It was so refreshing to see photos/videos of our dogs playing and you could see they were happy. I highly recommend this wonderful home away from home for our dogs. First time using a kennel for holidays. Jodi went over and above to make it work for us. I was nervous but my babies came back healthy, happy and very relaxed after 2 weeks. The pick up drop off service was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

Our German shepherd puppy has stayed here 2ce and on both occasions has come back very happy. He was very lovingly looked after and got lots of cuddles and play. Jodi was really caring and lovely.

We recently boarded our boy at Dogs Domain. Communication in lead up to booking was great but more importantly upon collection he was happy, healthy and very clean. Really happy with the overall experience and would definitely trust again in future.

Dogs Domain and cats were outstanding.Jodi could not have been more accommodating and lovely.The property is beautiful with accommodations for dogs and cats.We have a very large dog that stayed two nights.Came home happy and tired.We received photos of play and could see he was happy. Jodi is very friendly and welcoming on drop off and collection. The dog runs look spacious and inviting for the dogs to play in the fresh air. Plenty of shade and green grass. My dogs came home happy and clean. They will be return visitors next time we go away

I couldn’t be more impressed by our experience with Jodi and the facilities. First time leaving my dog at a kennel and Jodi went above and beyond in making me feel comfortable. The facility is the cleanest/nicest kennel I’ve ever seen and my dog had the best time there, he has come home healthy and happy. If you’re looking for a kennel you can trust and be confident in this is the one!

Our dog Niko stayed at A Dog Domain and Cats too for three weeks. Initially, we were bit hesitate to leave him in a pet boarding as he had issues with strangers. Jodi approached him professionally and looked after very well during the stary. We received pictures and videos of Niko while we were away which was a big peace of mind. When we picked up Niko, he was happy and healthy. Customer service was also exceptional from the first phone call to the day of the pickup. Highly recommended service.
