Posh has improved their Eldridge location. My fur babies love going to Daycare and Boarding. They do not hesitate! In the evening, they come home tired after playing all day…makes for well behaved dogs. The manager Lauren is fantastic and my babies love her!

I can't say enough good things about Posh. The staff is absolutely amazing and takes the best care of my Lily whether it's when she is there for boarding or day camp. She is so happy when she knows she's going to Posh. Couldn't ask for a better place, highly recommend!

The girls and Skyler in Moline are wonderful. I wasn’t impressed with the co-owner when she was working. My dog is handicapped on his front feet and so he feels safer with little dogs and the workers are so nice to him

Wonderful staff, multiple locations across the Quad Cities area. Day camp is great! I feel my pets will be safe there. They post pictures daily of the dogs. You can even have them read your pup a story or give them a special treat. Great place

My two dogs have been going there for years. Pout when they don't get to go. The staff spoils them. You can tell how well they are treated by how excited they are to be there.

Cabbage loves going to Posh. They always greet her with excitement and vice versa. It’s pretty cute. When I ask her if she’s ready to go play with her friends Luka, Clover, and Henry she gets so excited. We’re glad we have a safe place to take her during the day or whenever we leave town. I’ve used Posh for years, and Beaston prior, for daycare and boarding. My dogs have always been very excited to go to Posh. The staff have been wonderfully professional and truly caring about my dogs. I highly recommend them!

Not sure who loves Contented Canines more, me or my 10 month old lab. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. In fact I’m sure my dog would go home with a Julie if I let him. Training classes are not only affordable but Kim’s step by step reinforcement style training is easy to follow and completely doable for the average person. My dog loves doggy day care and boarding has always been a breeze. I always drop him off knowing he’s getting great care. I've used Contented Canines for doggie daycare, boarding and puppy classes. I highly recommend bringing your dog here. Mine loves it, and they were awesome in teaching him basic tricks and obedience. I will never take my dog anywhere else. They reinforce what they taught him in obedience class when he's at doggy daycare as well. He's always excited on the day he knows he's supposed to go to daycare, and tired when he comes home. They works really care about all of the dogs.

Great place to take your dogs! I also worked there briefly and it truly is a safe, fun place for dogs of all breeds. 10/10 recommend.

Our yellow Lab pup, Grace, wanted to "work" and we had no idea how to make the negative things she was doing, positive. Thanks to Contented Canine, we now have a pup who wants to please, and we are enjoying her more and more. The team bond we have developed with Grace is great and we enjoy finding new tasks that keep her mind and body actively engaged. We highly recommend Contented Canine for training.

Contented Canines provides several different training opportunities for dogs and their people. I currently have one dog enrolled in a weekly Obedience course and another dog in Beginners Agility (so fun - even if you have no intention of competing - my 10 yr old dog is having a blast). These are group classes but other training options are available. Call Kim or check out the website for info.

Excellent training program. It has made our puppy so obedient and happy. They also sell treats and training aids at low prices. The trainers are very competent and patient.

We took our Bernadoodle for his first grooming. They asked if we wanted a puppy cut that’s just a wash, trimming the feet, and nails. I asked them to do that and trim the rest of his hair “just a little bit to keep the puffball but reduce the matting.” Instead, they cut his hair short everywhere. They sent me back a dog that looks nothing like what I gave them or what I asked for. Will not be going back. Pictures below are what he looked like before the cut and after.

Been grooming my dog there for years. It's now under new ownership. We had an appointment set for tomorrow to have my dog groomed. Waited weeks. They call the day before stating his rabies expired in April, and that he would need to be vaccinated before he could come in. I stated why wouldn't you have notified me of this sooner. She claimed her system only does the day before and that it's not her responsibility to make sure the dog is vaccinated. This maybe true. But the fact she did this the day before and, if it's so required, not to at least do this a week in advance so you have time to coordinate with your vet. Especially when you consider you've been waiting weeks to have your dog groomed, then to be rude and condescending is all it took for me to post this review. Avoid these guys. Very unprofessional and no matter their response don't buy it. I guess it's all about the money and not the pooches.

Our experience with Almost Home to this point has been taking our new pup, Rosie, to Puppy Play Time. All the staff are extremely caring and seem to have fun with the pups. The staff chats with the us about the time spent and how the pup has adjusted to it. We are also utilizing Jana and Dakota for home training with Rosie. They want the pup to succeed and magically it happens and we go forward. Could not be happier!!

They are so caring and attentive to the dogs. The dogs love it there. We currently only use them for boarding but plan on daycare in the future. They don’t discriminate on age and “age out” like other places.

Our good boy Rocky comes back home HAPPY this is the first place that has had that effect on him. We love them!

We have always felt confident leaving our dog in their care. The facility is always clean. The staff is great and really loves the dogs. We've even run into employees out and about and they recognize and remember our dog's name. Great place.

The staff members are very friendly and very good with both of my large dogs. Facilities are clean and set up nice for the dogs to get exercise as well as be comfortable. Will definitely continue to use them even though other places closer to me are more economical.

I used to take my dogs here when they were downtown Bettendorf. Going to start aggression training with my one dog soon. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I'm hoping for good results. UPDATE: I give five stars to the boarding end of the business but give two stars to the training side. I had more appointments canceled at the list minute then I did training sessions. We needed help with our dog for aggression issues but received very little.

Absolutely loved my experience with this place! The ladies I spoke with were both very nice and although my dogs didn't stay for the whole reservation (canceled flights are a pain) I know they were in good hands. Definitely found the perfect place for my dogs!

My dogs and me LOVE K9 Resorts. The staff is always so friendly and caring. Damien literally runs into the Resort. He goes to camp, he has been boarded here, gets baths. Now his sister, Lily is able to go. They smell so GOOD when they come back from their baths. Once at home, they are so tired and nap the rest of the day. I love all the different event days they do and the calendars. I get so happy seeing all their pictures. You can definitely tell that your pets are well taken care of and loved. Thank you for all the work you do with Damien, Lily and all the other doggies!!!

K9 Resorts is wonderful! The facility is beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, and my dogs were very happy there! The staff even sent me pictures of the dogs during their stay. When I picked up our 3 dogs, they had been bathed and smelled so good! We will definitely come back!

Our 90 lb lab mix Beau was boarded for two nights over Thanksgiving. He’s a very anxious dog but loves to play. He had so much fun at K9 Resorts. He almost seemed sad to leave. Thank you for caring for our dog!

My two goldens love k9 resorts so much- they drag me out of the car and into the building. (Embarrassing) But- I couldn’t be more thankful for the staff- and I know that either daycare or boarding.. my girls are in great hands. And will be coming home completely exhausted from their fun days.

My husband and I needed to board our goldens for 10 days back in Feb 2023. We did a ton of research and decided on K9 Resorts, and it was THE best decision. They did an amazing job taking care of our girls, the peace of mind we had not having to worry if they were being taken care of was priceless. We ended up signing Nova up for daycare and she has gone ever since. The staff is absolutely amazing, Nova LOVES them and gives each one a hug when she sees them. This place is caring, the environment is clean, they have activities for the dogs like pool parties, bubble parties, monthly birthday party, crafts, photoshoots, so much more. It's genuinely such a fantastic place to take your dog. I can't say enough great things about K9 Resorts! ❤️

This was our first time to leave our special needs rescue in a boarding situation. We were so nervous. However, the people at K9 were very reassuring and kind. They explained everything and didn’t make me feel silly for checking on Mollie. We were able to take our day trip knowing that she was in good hands, safe, and well cared for. Thank you! To the service to the staff your pup is well taken care of. I was so nervous as this is the first time boarding my 4 legged friend but they put all my worries to ease. They also did a free evaluation day to get your dog acclimated to the environment. My boy was so tired by the end of the day!!

Loki loves coming to daycare, even tho he is not neutered yet they find time to play with him and he's always tired when he gets home. The place always smells fresh and clean and all the dogs that we have encountered are so sweet and nice. Looking forward to him getting neutered and being able to play with all the pups❤️ Best place ever!!!

The staff was great for the tour, dropping my dog off, and picking him up. I received updates with photos and my dog appeared to be very happy. I’ll definitely be using the doggy daycare and doggy hotel services again.

I’ve taken my Australian Shepard here twice. In the 5 weeks before his second appointment they got a new groomer. I’ve very disappointed in how he was groomed the second time. My boyfriend took him in and asked for his paws, butt, and belly specifically to pay close attention to trim up good. Immediately upon seeing my dog the groomer said he needed a $20 special conditioner. My boyfriend said okay and went on about his day. He dropped him off at 10am and didn’t get a phone call until after 1pm to pick him up. She charged $97. Her work is not worth $97!!!! Don’t take your long haired dogs here! I’ll attach pictures.

We left our dog with them over the weekend because we had to go out of town for work. We were told that we needed to pick him up on Sunday between 9am and 10am. I waited for 1 hour before leaving because no one showed up. No one answered the phone when I called. I got a phone call at 10:30 from the owner and when I asked where he was at 9, He told me "Well I am here now if you want to pick your dog up". My wife went to pick up our dog shortly after and it looked like he was stuck in a cage all weekend. Our dog reeks of pee and his fur was disgusting. Owner told my wife that he forgot to come in at 9. The price seems to be higher than other more reputable places. DO NOT take your pets to this facility. The owner doesn't seem to care about your pets wellbeing.

We have used this place for years. Most of the time they have been great, but are certainly going downhill. This is the second time this year we have had issues picking up our dog. First time, we chalked it up to miscommunication on both parts. This time, we were told they would open at 8:30 for pickup. Arrived a little after 9 and no one was there. Called hourly with no option to leave a message. Finally recieved a call at 1:30 thay someone was there and we could pick up our dog. They do not answer emails or have other means of communication other than just calling and hoping this place is open. They removed their website and have no posted hours other than Google, which are apparently incorrect. We will no longer be using Animal Playground for our dog.

My 5 month old puppy enjoys daycare with the dogs and staff members at this place! He is so happy to start the day and be with this friends. Early morning attendant meets you at the door to take your dog inside, and is very nice and friendly in demeanor! Bob and his staff do an exceptional job keeping multiple dogs at daycare and boarding safe and happy. Price is unbeatable for the quad cities! I really love that the dogs get more play time with the long hours they are open for daycare. My puppy always comes home tired and ready to wind down when we are. They also have a camera to watch your furry family members on, but I have witnessed the staff go above and beyond to care for my puppy, hold him, pick him up, and give him love and attention/let him sleep on their laps. My comfort level after witnessing their compassion got easier each time, and eventually to a point where I trusted them enough to go weeks without checking the camera while I was working!! And that is HUGE for a helicopter mom like me. I am 100% behind my word of satisfaction to recommend Animal Playground as the leading doggie daycare facility in the quad cities (I used/tried multiple). They will arrive and come home happy, safe, well socialized, and tired by the end of each day! Unfortunately we are moving this month to another state, so I am hoping my pups next daycare is as good as Animal Playground (I am very picky!). Thank you Animal Playgound staff for creating an environment that helped my puppy to grow, learn, play, and be a happy pup! We will miss you all!!!

What an amazing place. From out of town and was happy to find a place there to watch and groom my dog while I was out with friends. Reasonable and he was well cared for. He was not happy about being left but when we picked him up he was happy as well as well groomed by Lauren. If you live there you are lucky to have such a wonderful place for your dogs to be groomed and boarded. High standards and I hope they can work us in again if we visit next year.

I made an appointment for boarding 4+ months in advance and called the week before to confirm. No one answered the phone or door the day of at the agreed meeting time. Luckily, K9 Resorts was able to get us in.

Usually never do this but called and tried to get a daycare plan set up. I was told I needed to have my dog come in for an aggression test and shots records. We then set up something for today (4-13-24) at 10am. No one was on site and no one answered the phones. I have been here for over half an hour without any communication from the staff or owners. This is very unprofessional and people should be advised before coming here that appointments are not honored.

This place is awesome . My Shi-Tzu has cancer, and at his last visit also had a torn ACL. They took every precaution to make sure he didn't get hurt but still came out looking his adorable self

We have been going there to get our pup groomed for about a year and a half now. We love the groomer she always does a great job. However this time we were met by someone new at the front desk when I walked in the lady looked at the clock and said that we don’t have an apt until 10 (I spoke with them about dropping our dog off early because of work schedules) She made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her and had no idea what was happening Skofed at me when we asked for his usual puppy cut, she was just rude with the whole encounter. Off to find a new groomer I guess. :(

We were very disappointed in this boarding business today we went to take our dog there and the owner was not there. We waited for over an hour and he never did show. We almost missed our reservation that we had out of town. This is the second time that this has happened. He is not reliable.

Our girl has been going for over a year now the last 2 visits not good washed her blanket I sent her with lost it then found it this time I had to ask for her blanket again when I drop her off the girl didn't check if she was boarding when I said sèe ya tomorrow she said oh she not for daycare she act like it was to.much work for her I was expecting to.see.pics. nothing cause they had her in a package she never gets and then when I bring this up I get told we have no manager sorry

We bought a month long pass, so our two dogs would be safe during construction at home. Our boys absolutely LOVE your staff and are so excited to go every morning.

All of the staff is absolutely amazing and my dog LOVES going! They keep you updated if anything happens at camp and they post pictures of the dogs on Facebook.

We went on a week long vacation and left our dog with Posh. He loved having other dogs to play with. He definitely needed a bath when he got home! We were able to see pictures of him multiple days, which gave us peace of mind knowing he was being well cared for.

I was nervous taking my dog to doggy day care for the first time. The workers were so kind, patient, and friendly my fears were for nothing. My dog loved the experience and I am sure she wants to return. I will go back and recommend it to all. What a fantastic staff whom all love dogs.

I called and made reservations for my 2 dogs to be boarded . Was told all I need is proof of all vaccines and spayed, neutered. The day I was supposed to check in my dogs I brought my paper work down. All vaccines were on paper work from the Milan Animal Welfare center. The manager told me I needed the due date of the vaccines. I have used the Bettendorf location with the same paperwork several times. So they decided to turn me away after I was supposed to leave on vacation. I have also used many different dog boarding businesses and never been denied. I have also emailed the paperwork to these people and they have accepted it. Makes no sense to me. I do have a regular veterinarian but choose to get shots at the low cost clinic in which many do. WONT BE BACK! Ridiculous situation!

I took my dog there for the Thanksgiving holiday. I asked for him to have a Bath when I picked him up He did not have it and He was totally filthy. He had a cut on his back leg, which was full of blood. And I had taken his blanket for him when I picked him up They had to go look for his blanket that I took which to me. Means it was not in the kennel where he was at. And when you do a message or a review, they never do call you back either.

Our pups are always excited to come play here for daycare- they don't want to come home when I picked them up! Makes it easy to board them when we go outta town when they just think they're going to play with friends. Staff is always friendly, polite and helpful.

Used their daycare services for one month. I picked up my dog covered in urine one day and covered in fecal matter another day. No compensation, no help, only a "free bath".

This place is amazing for boarding and daycare. We’ve been looking for a place to take our anxious 8 month old puppy when out of town and after trying several different places that were just not the right fit, we are so happy we tried Posh!! When we dropped her off at Posh for the first time, the staff was so sweet and accommodating in making us feel comfortable. They answered all of my many questions about how they care for the dogs and took me on a tour of the facilities. You can tell they truly know and personally care for each dog they have in their care. When I picked her up the next day, it was a completely different experience than other boarding places. They were able to tell me exactly how she had done in the kennel and what dogs she played with- this has not been our experience anywhere else. Our puppy was excited for a few minutes when she first saw us, but once we got in the car she was so calm and not stressed out and even SLEPT on the way home! We are blown away and so happy with our experience with Posh Pet Resorts. We will be long time customers!

This was my first time kenneling my dog here, and I don't know if I can come up with enough words to describe how kind, compassionate, accommodating, pleasant, friendly and patient they are. I was out of town and was held over three days longer than expected, but found this out day to day. The staff was so kind and did not hassle me in any way each time I called for one more day. Gavin came home happy and not stressed out. I know he was more than happy to be home, but I don't think he would be upset if he had to stay there again. They treated my dog like they would want their own pet treated if they were kenneled. Thank you Beaston! P.S. they don't mind you calling, just to ask how your pup is doing, very sweet.

I’m new to the area and decided to enroll my boxer puppies into daycare . Leah & Razi, they absolutely love it and get excited every time we pull into the parking lot ! The workers are very kind, accommodating, and make me feel very comfortable with leaving my babies there for daycare everyday. Thank you POSH for being GREAT!

Took my two dogs in to be boarded at the Beaston Camp Kennels in Davenport for 4 days. On their website the description of their boarding facility is as follows, and this is copied from their website. Large indoor/outdoor private patios Medium studio for our petite guests Full time cleaning and care staff Elevated or plush beds provided A minimum of three trips to the exercise yards No extra charge for medication administration Lots of love!!! When I asked to see their kennel I was shown to it and it was NOT an indoor/outdoor. They do not have indoor/ outdoor kennels. I was told they would be taken out 3 times a day and they were signed up for day camp also. I wasn't entirely happy about it but there was nothing I could do about it. They have you fill out a form and leave any instructions for your pets. I left instructions that one of my dogs would need to take a medication on one of the days he was staying. He never received the pill, it was still in the bottle. My other dog came home with a big sore on his neck from scratching at his collar that no one bothered to take off for him. None of the treats I sent were given and a blanket I packed, for comfort, never even got unfolded. When I brought all this to their attention I was offered a credit, which I declined because I will not be back. My dogs stay in indoor/outdoor kennels when we go out of town and I will not have them back there again because NONE of them are indoor/outdoor. I was told by a manager that she would talk with the owner about some kind of refund and talk to the employee that was supposed to administer the medication. I got a call back a few hours later and was told that the employee watched him eat his pill. I told the manager that her employee was lying because the pill is still in the bottle or he received some other dog's meds, which is even more alarming! At the end of it all I did receive a compensation of half my money back.

I've been using Beaston since they were Pet Pals. Very clean, they keep track of all your dogs belongings. I trust them totally. The play time is wonderful. A friend and I used to take our dogs the same day!

I had to board my puppy for a week. I had called and toured a number of facilities in the Quad Cities and my favorite, thus far, was Posh Pet Resorts on River Drive. I had called and asked a bunch of questions and Kim answered everything fully and completely. Kim took very good care of my baby girl while I was away. I do wish they were open later than 6 though and that puppies had an opportunity to go potty again around 9 or 10 before bed. Kennels were clean and they did not smell of chemicals or urine. I love it that the puppies get doggie Daycare included with their boarding. She had so much fun playing that I would imagine she slept very well at night. I was pleased that they offered Facebook photos posted throughout the day corn doggy day care. However they do not post photos on the weekend. I would request that they start posting photos on the weekend too as well as have at least five photos of your dog. Some days there would be one photo of my dog and other days or might be four. However installing a webcam 4 exclusive customer access during Doggy Daycare hours would prove most beneficial overall. Facilities and Iowa City Cedar Rapids and Des Moines offered this type of access. It is a feature I would like to see here in the Quad Cities. A new login password could be generated each week and only paying customers should be allowed access.

They over charged me and wouldnt give me my money back. They said they would give me a credit. Took talking to 3 employees 2 managers and 15 days to get my money back. Will never go there again. Be careful and check your receipt so your not over charged.

I chose to board my dogs there overnight. I brought my own blanket,treats and toys. When I went to retrieve my dogs at checkout, my dogs were in a small cage with all the personal items sitting on top of the cage. I would not recommend this to anyone. I felt deceived about how my dogs would be cared for. My dogs were left to sleep on unpadded mesh beds.

POSH is amazing. The day care is a welcome event for my dog. She loves going there and staying overnight is no problem.

This is the only kennel + groomer I will go to. I've never had a bad experience with them and I have been with them since they first opened. Anne and the rest of the staff here are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The dogs here are separated by size and temperament. When it comes to playtime you can choose to have your dog play with other dogs or play alone with an attendant. They have both outdoor and indoor play areas in case the weather is gross. Here your dog(s) will sleep in the largest individual kennels I have ever seen in a boarding facility. I believe the kennels are 6'x6'. No worries, your dogs will sleep together comfortably just like they do at home. Is your dog older, sick, or injured? Simply tell the receptionist up front how to care for your dog and they will make it happen! Recently a family member went on vacation and had nowhere to take their two Jack Russell terriers. These family members had never used and normally would never use a kennel service. After they toured the facility they felt comfortable boarding their dogs at American Dog. It didn't take long for their dogs to be pictured on the American Dog Facebook page clearly smiling from ear to ear. 😁. Now next time they go on vacation, without a doubt their dogs will stay here! I think I've had my dog groomed by every groomer here and again, I have never had a bad experience. When my dog is groomed here I am not picky who does it because they all do a great job! I have a 100 lb. German Shepherd who is my best friend and I never feel bad about him staying here. That's him after grooming and me playing with him in the play area outside. They really do love your dog!

Bad experience. We brought our little guy in for a groom a couple years ago and they injured him and hid it from us. I understand that dogs move during grooms, but be up front about it! The injury ended up getting infected and required multiple vet visits. We also did several nail trims here and every time we went in it sounded like pure chaos—more than a normal groomer should. I would never leave my pets here again.

Christy did a phenomenal job on Bear!! His coat was matted and nails were long when I brought him in, and now he’s back to being his handsome self once again!! Thank You Christy.

My senior foster Lhasa Apso was so proud of his new "do". Very friendly, but professional staff. Clean. Easy access from the back parking lot, and you can grab a cookie at nearby Olde Towne Bakery while you are there.

This place is a joke. We took our sheepadoole in to get a cut and whatever ridiculous employee they hired off the street decided to shave my dog completely bald. I am at a point where I am ready to Walk in and demand my money back for how they butchered my dog. Never go to these people they are terrible and clearly let anyone just work on these animals

Normally takes a couple days to get him in which is a good sign imo (means they're busy). McKenzie does a wonderful job on our little one. He gets very excited to go see her. The results are good and he's ready for a night out on the town. :)

Took my 15+ YO Mini Australian Sheppard to American Dog today. He's never been to a groomer - my wife did all his grooming and she passed last year. He was an absolute mess. Groomer Ann spent an hour on him and not only was he happy and unstressed he is now groomed to perfection and easily maintained. When needed I'll be back and so will Gizmo - we have found our groomers. Nothing fancy - just great people and grooming.

We had a young gentleman help us. Hustler was scared but we had get them done before we went on vaction.. the guy was good with hustler . I was so happy. I gave him a $20.00 tip. Because he did such a good job clipping his nails. Thank you. We will definitely be coming 😃 😊 …
