Jen was great! We made arrangements with the understanding plans might slightly change on my part. She was receptive as she was sitting other dogs but I was respectful of her time. We were in communication b4 meeting up and leading towards picking our babies up from her location. My two dogs took to her right off the bat, even though my female dog is typically very leery of strangers.They behaved as if they knew her for a long time. When we picked them up they happily ran towards us, but kept looking back at her. We could tell they enjoyed their time with her. I definitely recommend her and definitely will use her again if/when I find I’m in her area again. Thank you again Jen! 💐🐶 ❤️🐶

I am so happy I found Jen! Our dog is a rescue and can be very nervous and suffers from separation anxiety. Jen welcomed her with open arms and always goes above and beyond to accommodate her needs. Our dog absolutely loves her and I have zero worries when I leave her with Jen. Jen has also saved the day several times when we needed a last minute per sitter. She is kind and an animal lover. She also sends pics and updates which I love! I would recommend her to anyone with any type of dog.

I cannot say enough good things about Jen & her daughter, AZ. They were AMAZING!!! I was coming up to Santa Barbara for a wedding, and wanted to bring my fur babies along for the fun weekend. I found a pet friendly air bnb, but the rules were that I could not leave my dogs alone. Thank goodness for Jen! I was SO worried as I don't trust just anyone with my dogs. From the first time I called in and spoke to Jen, I could tell immediately that I really liked her. I was able to book her for both Friday & Saturday night for wedding festivities. Jen, who is fully insured, showed up early to meet "the girls". My two shy Italian greyhounds instantly fell in love with her (they usually take a while to warm up to strangers). This made me feel SO comfortable to leave them. She truly has a way with animals! Jen sent me photos throughout the night, which was great! I had the pleasure of meeting Jen's daughter the following night, who was equally as sweet and just as good with animals. The girls loved her too! Jen & AZ saved my weekend. They made my trip that much better!!! I cannot thank them enough! I highly recommend Jen's services. She is extremely professional, kind, funny, and an all around good person. My dogs loved her & AZ! Best dog sitter we have had for years. We travel a lot and at times need a sitter in the hotels the be with our schnauzer. She is getting old and needs TLC. Jen is amazing friendly and most of all I could tell she loves animal's and they love her. Do not hesitate to hire her for your pet. You and your pet will be very glad. Dubby

I needed care for my 2 dogs and was excited about Toby’s when I read the wonderful reviews. I filled out all of the paperwork online but never received a callback or any response. I waited for a couple of weeks and called but was only able to leave a voicemail. I never heard from anyone from Toby’s. Perhaps they were full and couldn’t accept any additional clients. I have no idea. I would have appreciated a callback or at least an email however, that didn’t happen.

I highly recommend Eddie with Toby’s Pet Care. We have 2 senior dogs that need special care. At the Meet and Greet our dogs immediately accepted Eddie without barking. It was evident Eddie had read my profile of both dogs and asked appropriate questions regarding their care. My husband & I looked forward to receiving updates and pictures from every visit. I highly recommend Eddie with Toby's Pet Care. The process was perfect as I would not expect something fast and simple when it comes to caring for my 2 dogs. Signing up, requesting a meet and greet with my two dogs at our home. All the required information and daily routine of my two dogs. Eddie was very accommodating especially as my surgery was a rapid thing and family wasn't able to care for my dogs. I got updates and pictures of my two dogs every visit Eddie made to check on and feed my dogs 3 times daily. Eddie followed care instructions to a T and both my dogs enjoyed Eddie caring for them.

Great experience. Gray stayed over for the long weekend and took care of my 2 dogs, one of them which requires medication daily multiple times. I received daily updates with videos and pictures. Gray took great care of my dogs and the house as well. Would use again for the next trip !

We were lucky enough to find Zenia and Barkhaus just before a trip and the reviews and recommendations don't begin to do her justice. She took care of both dogs and was very detailed in their care and handling all their special requirements. Great communication and frequent pictures helped us enjoy our trip. Definitely will be relying on Zenia in the future.

I am so happy I found these wonderful people! I was nervous leaving my two dogs while I journeyed far from home (they can be a handful), but after the meet and greet with Helen and Z, I instantly felt better. They were kind, communicative, knowledgeable, and loving towards my two large dogs. I received several updates from them during their visits and it was nice to see my dogs happy and comfortable. Their background in vet med/pet care and skills for animal handling is also a huge plus. My daughter found barkhaus pet sitters to watch her dog at our house while we went on a week vacation. I have a stray cat I feed and 5 tortoises. Z , Helen and Alyssa came over to our house for a meet and greet and it couldn’t have gone better. They are very organized and took down lots of notes. They stayed at my house for the entire week, taking care and feeding the cat and tortoises. Also taking wonderful care of my granddoger . We got videos, pictures and updates everyday it was very comforting! They also watered all my plants (which is a lot). I felt very comfortable with them staying at my house and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My husband and I just moved to the area and were looking for a new pet sitter that we could trust taking care of our cat and coming to our home. Barkhaus Petsitters were the one!!! From our initial conversation through our entire trip, these ladies were so professional, organized and great with communication! They sent us lots of photos and videos and always updated us each visit. They helped refresh water and food, cleaned the litter boxes and even swept the area around the litter box to keep it clean. Helen and Z are the kindest, most professional, and most knowledgeable pet care workers I have ever met. They have now looked after my two Maltese dogs and my cat. When we initially met, they were organized and thorough, even offering background checks! Each time they visit, they send pictures of my pets and let me know if anything has changed with the animals. They are both trained as vet techs, which is extremely comforting. I am confident they would know even better then I would how to react in an animal health emergency! In fact, when my cat had recent health issues, Helen and Z were the first people I consulted. They are incredibly responsive via text message/phone call, so I always know I can get ahold of them quickly. Finally, their prices are EXCELLENT - they truly offer the BEST care available for the most affordable prices. They view every animal as one of their own, so you will know that your pets are in capable, loving hands without breaking your budget. I cannot recommend them more strongly!!

Helen and Z with Barkhaus are the best!!! At the last minute before our trip, we decided to contact Barkhaus instead of boarding our dogs due to the excessive heat. Z sounded very knowledgeable over the phone and even squeezed in a last minute meet and greet. When she got to our house and interacted with our dogs Rusty and UB, I knew I could trust her with our babies. She was very thorough and professional. Z and Helen treated our dogs as if they were their own. They sent us daily pictures and videos of our happy dogs. They even cared for our bearded dragon. They provided us with wonderful service and gave us peace of mind so we could enjoy our vacation. I completely trust Z and Helen and will be calling them again to care for our pups.

Z and Helen are spectacular!! They treated our cats like they were their own pets. They offered to send videos and photos if we wanted them (we did) and each text made our day brighter. Helen is just the best! I reached out to her after having a difficult experience at a very large daycare with our puppy. She was super responsive, extremely helpful and most of all she really cared. Charlotte has looked after my pup Zuko for many years, ranging from Zu as a pup to Zu as, shall we say, a bit of a grandpa! She is extremely dedicated to her clients’ fur babies, going above and beyond to cater for each . Paige and Charlotte have been nothing but excellent with our cats, Bruiser and Peanut. When we need to get out of town, it's beyond reassuring knowing our babies are in wonderful, caring hands. An important aspect of their service: they can expertly handle giving your pets any medications they might need. Our boy Bruiser had kidney problems, and Paige & Charlotte were FANTASTIC at getting him his subcutaneous fluids (among all the other things he needed). When he passed in December, they sent us a hand-written card with very sweet condolences. It was truly heartfelt. One of my most favorite things they do is the awesome pics they send us each visit. Seriously, these pics are worthy of printing out and framing.

Five-Star Review for Carolyn’s Pet Care We recently boarded our two senior dogs, both 16 years old, at Carolyn’s Pet Care over Thanksgiving, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. While it was a bit pricey, the exceptional care Carolyn provided made it worth every penny. What made this even more special was that Carolyn took our dogs in at the last minute when our usual sitter was unable to care for them. We were in a tough spot, and she graciously made room to board both of our dogs on short notice, which we really appreciated. Carolyn went above and beyond to ensure our dogs were well taken care of. She bathed both of them twice during their stay and even helped our dog Abraham with his flaky skin condition. She carefully combed out the flakes, and since then, his skin has improved remarkably. She kept us updated every night with plenty of photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Her spacious backyard was perfect for the dogs to play, and she made sure they were well-fed, exercised, and clean. She even clipped their nails! Carolyn’s love for animals and her years of experience truly shine through in the care she provides. Despite the cost, the quality of her service and attention to detail were absolutely worth it. We highly recommend Carolyn’s Pet Care to anyone looking for a safe and loving place for their pets!

Carolyn provides the absolute best daytime play environment for our dogs on a weekly basis and takes wonderful care of them when we are out of town. They are always so happy to see her and love spending time at her house with the other dogs she takes care of. Carolyn is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to training and caring for the health of our dogs as well. She provides us with regular updates and sends photos/videos of the dogs when they stay with her. She is incredible!

This review is long overdue. Our Kiki (maltipoo) has been going with Carolyn for about three years now. We wanted to get her out socializing with other dogs, but she didn't like the dog parks. Having Kiki go with Carolyn once a week to visit with her friends and go for a hike turned out to be the best decision we ever made. I have to admit that Kiki is not the friendliest little dog, but Carolyn has taught her to respect and mind her manners around other dogs and people. It was especially important that she behave around our grand kids. Her yard and house are meticulous. Any Fur baby would be lucky to spend time with her. She is great with her dogs, and they all respect and love her. Carolyn is the best find ever! I can’t believe it, but I dropped off an undisciplined, unruly puppy whom I believed to be incorrigible and when I picker her up and brought her home she was so well behaved!! Im in awe of the change in her behavior! Carolyn is the only person I trust with my fur babies. They are well cared and loved by her when we have to be away.

Carolyn is absolutely amazing with all dogs! Our dogs participate in her “socials”. Carolyn provides a well supervised, fun environment for our dogs to to play and interact with lots other dogs regularly. . We travel frequently and rely on Carolyn to care for our dogs often. Carolyn is absolutely THE BEST!!!! I rescued a formosan mountain dog mix, Basia, from Taiwan not realizing how fearful and skittish the dog was. It was a struggle taking her for walks and trying to train her because she was terrified of everything and everyone. I tried taking a dog training class locally in my neighborhood but it didn't help. As I was losing hope, my in laws learned about Carolyn's service and referred me and she has transformed my dog! Basia has gained so much confidence. She learned to tolerate all types of situations, she is great on walks and hikes and is now well trained. Family and friends are all shocked at how much Basia has changed for the better! I am very grateful to Carolyn for her patience and effort in working with Basia so she can learn to enjoy life and for all her advice and tips on how to become a better dog parent! Basia's been going to Carolyn's morning social every week for over a year now and Basia LOVES it! She is such a happy dog when she's at Carolyn's with all her friends :) Whenever we travel, we only board Basia with Carolyn knowing she is in good hands. Carolyn is very sweet and understanding and truly has a big heart for animals! I highly highly highly recommend her! :D

Carolyn has been taking care of our Norfolk Terriors for over 12 years. Both Quincy and Chloe were always excited to be with Carolyn and the other dogs. Somehow she has all the dogs together getting their picture taken and they are not making any noise. She has always taken excellent care of them and both my wife and I highly recommend Carolyn for her knowledge and skill with our dogs.

Carolyn is the absolute best! She has frequently cared for our french bulldog for the past 3 years and we are so thankful to have found her! As frenchies tend to be, ours is definitely a little firecracker. He’s silly and sweet, but not what anyone would consider low maintenance. Carolyn loves and cares for him like he’s her own. She is very attentive to his needs and he absolutely loves his time at her house. When he hears the word “Carolyn” his big ears perk right up and he waits excitedly at our door. I rest assured that my dog is in great hands when when he’s with Carolyn. She’s easy to communicate with and very skilled with animals. I highly recommend her services!!

I am so grateful to have found Carolyn many years ago. She is AMAZING! She cares for our cat Stanley. Both while we're out of town and even when we are not... She goes above and beyond in every way!! She has gotten him into the best cat groomer when he really needed - she not only got him in -despite the very long waitlist, she took him while I was at brunch! AND she went into the grooming session with him and assisted the groomer! She is knowledgeable and seems to know exactly what is needed and when. She welcomes when I ask her advice for even the smallest issue and she always gives me great information and recommendations! She is completely capable. When we are away I always feel comfort and relief knowing Carolyn is caring for not only Stanley but also caring for our home and our plants ,better than I do I might add. Stanley always looks so handsome and healthy after she has been with him. She seems to have a sixth sense with him- he can get pretty feisty. She gives him the "tough love" he is in need of. She does everything with strength, love and kindness. Stanley loves her and my husband and I love her and feel so lucky to have her!!!! Hello. We found Skys the Limit pet service on line after we learned that our normal sitter was unavailable. Our rescue dog is very much the homebody and prefers to be home vs anywhere else. I believe Skys the limit did very well this being my dogs first encounter. Their outdoor facility was exceptional. My dog was able to run and play outdoors. They provided many photos to show the dogs adjustment and interaction to other dogs. They were professional and required vaccination documentation upfront. I believe my dog to have had a good experience at Skys the limit. I will use them in the future.

This will sound fake, but honestly she can do it all. I’ve used her for boarding for my dogs, I’ve used her to go check up on my cat, she’s taught my dog to walk on a gentle leader because my dog was too strong for me and always pulling me. Not anymore thanks to Aki. She takes my dogs for walks around my neighborhood, she picks up to take to the dog park. She goes hiking with them for hours every Thursday. Shes extremely educated with the skill set to run her business with compassion and confidence. She sends daily pics and videos. She’s punctual and caring and my animals L O V E her. I can always rest assured that everything’s under control with Aki. She’s a real class act. I’ve been a client for around 4 years. She was recommended to me by a friend at the dog park🐾 We highly recommend her!

I found out about Sky's the Limit pet service because I needed someone to watch my two yorkies while I'm at work. I'm not really a fan of sending my dogs to a boarding place because of how many other dogs there are. So I contacted Aki and she offered to walk my dogs for me while I'm out and play with them in the house. She totally seems to love dogs and my dogs have become quite fond of her. I love how my dogs can be taken care of in the comfort of their own home and all for less than a lot of boarding places!

Aki is the best. By providing daily pictures and updates, we knew our dog was safe, happy, and well taken care of.

Jon is an angel. They have such a kind spirit and my pup Rufio loves them. The first time I went to drop him off I was worried Rufio would whimper when I left but nope - he happily followed Jon right in the house and didn’t look back (ouch). Jon’s exactly the kind of person you would and should trust your fur babies with.

Can't say enough good things. Jon is very gentle and kind - my dog jumps right out of the car and runs into his house when he boards and jumps right in the van for park days.

If your dog is like mine, you’ve tried other formats that place dogs in their crates for extended periods and limited outdoor exposure. The experience with sunny pets is the complete opposite and better suited to dogs that need space to roam. Jon takes the pack out for long dog park days and lets them sprawl out on the floor or couch at night. We've relied on Jon / Sunny Pets multiple times in the past couple years for our dogsitting needs. Our four-year-old labradoodle has stayed with Jon overnight multiple times and has gone to the occasional park play as well. We appreciate Jon's reasonable and straight-forward pricing, especially his new online booking system! But our dog loves the attention Jon gives him during his stays and all the park and fetch visits!

Jon and Sunny Pets are INCREDIBLE!!! Our Bailey has the best time ever when we have to overnight her for several days here. Jon is constantly sharing updates on Instagram with the activities our pet is doing plus showing us all the new friends she makes during her stay. Once you put in a request for your pet's stay - Jon sends a full breakdown of the price for everything (weekday rate, weekend, holiday, etc.) Nothing is hidden from you and you don't pay until you have a chance to review the full stay of your pet. I can't thank Jon enough for every time Bailey gets to stay and has the time of her life!

I text Jon whenever I need someone to watch my dog for a full day or over night. She is a high energy, smart/stubborn husky mix, and he does great with her. She likes to play with his dogs Ryker and Yuly, and is always excited to see Jon and them. He picks her up from my house and takes her to the park, and uploads some video clips to instagram so I can see how good a time she's having. She always comes home tired, which is good. Jon is super responsive via text. I'd highly recommend Sunny Pets.

Our dogs love Cassandra! She goes above and beyond when watching them, giving us regular updates (and sending us cute photos!) so we know that they are well taken care of. We really appreciate how kind and communicative she is. It gives us peace of mind when we are away on a trip or out for an evening, so we can relax and enjoy knowing that our fur babies are safe and happy at home. :)

Cassandra happily agreed to help me when I needed her the most. My pets mean everything to me and they warmed up to her so quickly. My lady dog is especially shy but there were no issues and even let her hug and kiss her! I love the photo updates. Her level of experience and love for animals is evident. Thank you again!

We love Cass! Cass walks my two labs a few times a week and we have had such a positive experience working with her! She is professional, reliable, accommodating, a great communicator, and really loves animals! We are so glad to have found Cassandra! She walks our pup a couple times a week and he loves it! He’s always extra happy on the days she walks him. He’s a reactive dog and can be tough to deal with on walks but she handles him without a problem! She’s even been able to offer some advice for improving his on leash behavior. As a bonus, she’s also a great pet photographer! She sends a couple pictures every walk and they’re actually some of the best dog photos we have!

As a disabled combat vet who gets very anxious when away from her ESA, I can say Cassandra goes above and beyond to ensure your fur kids are not just safe and looked after, but loved and attended to. She provides consistent communication, thoughtful updates and lots of photos which are so encouraging when me and my pup are separated. I highly recommend this lovely human for her services! Cassandra has been walking my dog for about 6 months now and she is awesome! She is super reliable and friendly and seems to really enjoy her job. My dog adores her. She sends super cute pictures after every walk. She’s even done some cat sitting for us while out of town. 100% recommend!

Cassandra is awesome! She lives in my neighborhood and I stumbled upon her by seeing her logo and number on her car. I’m so glad I did! She walks our dog, has boarded him at her home while we’re out of town, and also watches our kitties in our house. All of my pets love her, I get lots of cute pictures, and I feel comfortable with her in my home while I’m away. I’ve had a lot of pet sitters in the past and Cassandra is top notch!

I met Cassandra at the restaurant at which she works and got to know her there. As a waitress she was attentive, detailed, personable and on her game always! It wasn't until some time later I found out she had a pet sitting business. Since I had two Toy Fox Terriers, I got her card for her pet sitting business and soon after needed her for her services. She came over to my house for a meet and greet and was quickly able to bond with my two dogs. We went over my instructions for care and the routine for my dogs. She listened intently and asked good questions. I booked Cassandra for a four day stay at my house while I was away on business. I felt very comfortable and confident about who I was dealing with and having her stay at my house. She followed my instructions to the letter, gave me updates and sent pictures throughout her stay and I know was very attentive with my puppies. I would use Cassandra over and over again if I could , but unfortunately she is so good at what she does she has many regular clients that monopolize her time. Shawn is wonderful, and I am so grateful to have found her! It was my first time seeking a cat sitter, and I contacted a few sitters in the area. Shawn responded to my online inquiry right away; shared her business license info, insurance info, and several references; and scheduled a meet-and-greet with me even with her already-packed pet-sitting schedule. When we met in person, Shawn immediately made me feel at ease - she is incredibly warm and clearly loves the animals she cares for. While we were away, Shawn sent plenty of updates and photos of my kitty. My cat is normally quite shy, but warmed up to Shawn within the first visit - and she's a tough judge of character! By the end of our trip, I could tell that kitty was happy whenever Shawn stopped by. She was pretty unfazed when we came home, and I chalk that up to her being so well-cared for in our absence. 😂 While Shawn could easily try and hire others to expand her business, she doesn't - because she is so committed to doing the best job possible for her clients. I wholeheartedly trust Shawn with my fur-baby and home.

Shawn has watched our cats in our home on multiple occasions while we have been traveling. Scheduling: Shawn is very responsive and was very polite abd helpful with pre-visit scheduling of our in-home visits. She promptly arrived to our home, became familiar with the home, the cats, and our idiosyncrasies. Visits: Shawn arrived daily as promised and took excellent care of our cats and home. She sent us updates, and it was clear that our cats were very happy to have her here. She even left our cats a little toy that happens to be their favorite toy to this day. The little things that Shawn did meant a lot to us. In the past when we've come home with other sitters, our cats were a bit frazzled. With Shawn, however, our cats seemed very pleased and happy, so we know Shawn definitely took care of them well. Summary: In summary, we were very nervous about getting a new cat sitter but we're grateful to have found Shawn! She is responsible, friendly, and took excellent care of our cats. We look forward to having Shawn take care of our kitties in the future - she puts her heart into taking care of our little family. Recommendation: I would highly recommend Shawn based on our previous interactions and cat-sitting. She is very kind, and a wonderful cat-sitter!

Shawn really cares about the pets she takes care of. My cat is a shy guy and she went the extra mile to make him feel comfortable, safe, and well-cared for. Despite her busy schedule over a holiday weekend, she fit in an extra (unplanned) day when our flight was delayed, just to make sure our kitty had everything he needed.

Shawn is the most caring, capable, and loving pet sitter you can have. She is more than a sitter. She loves animals and takes care of my pets like her own. When we travel I never worry about my pets. She always goes above and beyond.

I hired Shawn to help out when I was in town for a job for a few weeks. She was incredibly reliable, kind, and adaptable for when I needed extra walks on the weekends or evenings. My dog clearly adored her and they had a great time together. I also loved that she sent me pictures and updates on all their adventures.

She has looked after my cat while I travel for some years now, and I feel completely confident that all will be well when I am away as long as Shawn is there. Kisbel is the best. She has taken care of our pug twice and we already have a reservation for next summer. She sends daily photos or videos for us to keep on eye on him. Kisbel even had a birthday party for him because we missed his birthday. We have tried boarding him before but I feel better having the one on one care that Kisbel proves. I highly recommend her services.

We are VERY protective of our fur babies - like only let family watch them. We recently had the lovely Krisbel stay with them while we went on a trip to London - and she eased all my anxiety, sent photos and videos, loved on them and overall made us feel very at ease and able to enjoy our trip knowing our babies were being taken care of :) And now they have a friend to stay with them when we go out of town!

Kisbel was a fabulous dog/rabbit sitter while we were away. She kept in contact with videos and pictures every day of our pets which gave us a great piece of mind. Kisbel has been a HUGE help to my husband and I with our two dogs. We have two rescues; with one of them having really bad fear aggression towards new people. Our girl who has fear aggression really took to Kisbel. Kisbel has been so patient with her and knows how to read her well; and now our girl absolutely loves her! We went out of town for a week for the first time since rescuing our girls 2 years ago and Kisbel stayed at our home and took great care of them. We were really nervous leaving them for that long but it gave us peace of mind knowing Kisbel was there staying with them. She is very attentive and followed our instructions well, even administering daily medication for one of our girls. Kisbel has always been punctual when we've had her do drop in visits and also sends us photos and videos. She is great about communicating and keeping us in the loop; even looking for signs of limping for one of our girls since she had a surgery done shortly before one of Kisbel 's drop ins. We are so thankful we found Kisbel and that she worked with our girl who has fear aggression. She will always be our go to if we need help with the pups. Thank you SO MUCH Kisbel!
