We are absolutely amazed with Jenn and her dog boarding service. It really is incredible, from start to finish with the gentle onboarding process to make sure everyone is happy to the actual enriched boarding with fabulous dog walks is just so so comforting as an owner. We love the fact that Jenn has a real sense of command and control with our dog and so we know she is in safe hands with training and discipline as well as being cared for and all of her needs are being met. Brilliant!

Louie absolutely loves his walks with Jo. 🐾 Both Jenn and Jo have been absolutely brilliant over the last few months I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a dog walker in the Shifnal area. I can go out and relax knowing that Louie will be well looked after on his lunch time walks with Jo! I can’t recommend Pawsome Retreat in Shrewsbury highly enough! From the moment I walked in, it was clear this is a place where pets are truly cared for like family. The staff are incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and attentive, making both me and my pet feel completely at ease. The facilities are spotless and well-maintained, with plenty of space for pets to play and relax. I especially appreciated the personalized care they offered—whether it’s dietary needs, special routines, or extra cuddles, they go above and beyond to make sure every pet is comfortable and happy. My dog came home looking visibly happy and relaxed. It’s such a relief knowing there’s a place where I can trust my pet will be treated with so much love and professionalism. Jenn has taken great care of our dog. During his stays with Jenn, we’ve received regular updates on how he was doing as well as photos. His last visit with Jenn was for 12 days, so the regular contact helped my wife and I feel at ease while we were away from him. Our dog can be anxious sometimes but Jenn knows how to tailor her approach to suit each dogs personality and needs. I would highly recommend Paws and Moore!

Dealing with Jenn and Shaun at Paws and Moore has been amazing. They are both so professional in their approach and service, and also very accommodating. Shaun started visiting our two dogs recently. He does a great job and makes such a fuss over them each time he visits. No hesitation is dealing with their medication and the dogs love him. Would highly recommend Paws and Moore!!

Jenny has been walking my spaniel Indie since she was about 6months old and I would highly reccomend. Jenn looked after my dog Blue for 10 days while we were getting married and he had an amazing time! The best dog sitters you could ask for! I visited Shrewsbury for work in the lead up to Christmas and required dog care for around 10 days. Despite my working hours being a little erratic, Jenn accommodated us amazingly and was super flexible with pick up and drop offs. I received daily pup dates and was always informed of drop offs and pick ups which put me totally at ease. I was so thrilled by how friendly and personal the service was and loved how happy My pup was after his visits. I couldn’t recommend Paws and Moore any more highly, I just wish I could relocate them to London for the rest of the year!! Thank you so much for making everything so easy and enjoyable! Absolutely EXCELLENT!

Ann is absolutely fantastic. It's clear to see she loves dogs (even the nutty ones like ours). Our dogs go crazy when we pull up on to Ann's drive which is testament to how much they love it with her. I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for them now. They are treated like Queens and have no trouble seeing the back of us when we drop them off for a stay. We see regular pictures of them during their stay and we're completely at ease knowing how happy they are. Thank you so much Ann 🐶

Where do I start?.. our boy Hugo is our fur baby! 🐶 So when we started the search to find someone to look after him it became a daunting task!! That was until I stumbled across Ann of Telford Home from Home Boarding. From my first message, I just had a gut feeling that this was the perfect place! It’s not very often you’ll find someone who will look after your beloved pooch as good as you do yourself but how wrong was I?.. Ann welcomed Hugo into her home and bonded instantly with him. Going above and beyond to look after our boy! He’s one fussy eater and he’s spoilt (which is our own doing) but Ann treats him like a prince! 👑 Cooking him chicken and even feeding it to him by hand to give us peace of mind that he’s eating. Daily walks and an abundance of love and cuddles 🤍 Most days we’d receive pupdates 📸 with pictures and videos without even having to ask which is so reassuring and priceless when you’re far away! This allowed us to switch off a little and relax which after all that is what holidays are all about! Ann is a genuine, lovely lady who deserves all the credit she gets. We certainly won’t use anyone else to home board our fur baby now. He absolutely loves his time with Ann and his other furry friends he meets throughout his stay🐾 He returns back home happy with his tail wagging 🐶 After-all he’s had the best holiday himself!..and that to us means the world 🌍

After having a bad experience with a traditional kennel Ann is now the only person we will trust with Rosie. Fully certified and insured we know we can leave Rosie with Ann and she will be safe and well looked after. If anything, a bit too well looked after - she never seems to want to come home!! It's great knowing that while we enjoy our holiday, Rosie is enjoying hers.

We don't go away without Benson very often but when we do, Ann is the only person we'll leave him with. He's an older boy who likes his home comforts and cuddles and gets completely spoiled during his visits. We never have to worry about him while we're away as we know Ann understands what he needs and always goes the extra mile to ensure he's contented and safe. We're very grateful to have found someone so caring to look after him.

Ann has looked after our Otis a couple of times now and he loves it there. Anyone looking for a dedicated, friendly and loving dog carer then we can highly recommend Ann.

We won’t let anyone else care for our dog when we go away. Gemma is happy and well cared for during her stay. It has been five years since we first met Ann. She is a lovely honest lady and makes sure everything is in order etc

I fully recommend Telford Home from Home Dog Boarding. Feel rest assured your dog is in safe hands. Ann treats all the dogs as though they were her own. Make sure you book well in advance as this is a popular choice by many.

If Ann isn't available, we don't go away it's as simple as that. She cares passionately about all the dogs she looks after, to the extent that informing her that my old labrador had passed away was one of the hardest calls I ever had to make. She currently boards my old terrier (who could start a fight in an empty house,) and my Bosnian rescue (who's scared of her own shadow.) She gives them both the individual care they need.

Lydia is so lovely with my dog. He’s super happy when he’s home from a walk and absolutely adores Lydia. Sometimes I have to leave to work for the day and is reassuring that I have someone to drop-in and make sure my dog is okay. Highly recommend Lydia.

Lydia walks my dog and looks after him at lunch time. We met up before to introduce her to my dog she is very friendly and great with him. She took him for a good walk which he I could tell he loved from the photos sent to me after! I will definitely be using Lydia regularly!

It's been difficult finding somewhere to look after my big lad when I go away with work but he always has a fantastic time with Lydia. Very personalised service, lots of photo updates, and a happy dog!

First time we have used kennels. Rob and Rachael were absolutely superb in giving us reassurance that both Georgia and Albert would be fine. They explained the routine and the exercise schedule for them both. They then took Georgia and Albert from us with no fuss from either of them. Rachael said we could WhatsApp whenever we felt the need for updates. We had updates for the 3 days that they were there. The place is lovely a really nice relaxed atmosphere spotlessly clean. Highly recommend. Both Georgia and Albert came back home relaxed and now snoring in front of the fire thanks. Rob & Rachael thank you for letting them have a lovely break from us.

We've been using these kennels for years now. We were absolutely gutted when the previous owners sold up. We decided to keep our current booking with the new owners Rob and Rachael. The kennels are spotless. Rob was very welcoming and took time to introduce himself . My dogs came out after 8 days happy and full of bounce. They had been very well cared for. I was one happy dog mummy. The kennels are quite small so have a lovely intimate feel. Highly recommend them. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

This was our first visit for our 2 dogs, a trial, as one of ours is quite nervous, she seemed really happy when we collected her and a picture taken while she was there showing her being chilled about it. We have confidence now, and we'll definitely use them again.

I can't recommend Lilac Cottage and Kennels enough. My 2 dogs have been staying here for years. With Kev staying on and the new owners Rachael and Rob, the continuity of care is amazing. The personal touch they show my dogs, especially my Yorkshire Terrier who needs medication, sets my dogs up for a holiday of their own, and I know they're happy to stay there. They share pictures of your dogs on social media, with your consent, so you're reassured of their care while you're away.

Rob and Rachael are great owners of these kenels. My 2 dogs have been coming here for the past 4 years and would not go anywhere else. Service very professional. Very kind people. Very clean premises. I would definitely recommend these kennels to other people. If I want to know how my dogs are while I am away I just Whatsapp them and they get straight back to me with an update.

We can definitely recommend Lilac Cottage Kennels. Our previous dog and our new youngster have stayed there many times over the last few years with our dog just returning from a 16 night stay at the kennels. We were a little concerned when we heard that Kevin and Colin were leaving but we didn’t need to be as new owners Rachael and Rob with Kevin staying on created a smooth transition with continued excellent care for our dog. The care provided is very personal to each dog’s needs whether that’s diet or exercise or both. This means we can go on holiday with peace of mind that our dog is well cared for and happy to be there.

Lilac cottage is an amazing kennels. My dogs have always loved going there but recently changed hands so of course you are nervous. However the new owners are lovely Rachael and Rob. Jack went to them happy and came back Happy. Can’t ask much more. They book up quick though because they are very reasonable. A win win 🐶🐾 …

Rob & Rachael have certainly picked up where Colin & Kev left off. You will have complete piece of mind that your fur baby will be loved, well cared for and basically a home from home experience. We have used Lilac Cottage for years and have always been really happy to leave Lucy there. It has recently changed ownership and we are very pleased to see that Lucy has enjoyed her stay this week. Alice and the team have been walking Marley since he was a pup over 4+ years now. They provide an excellent service and Marley always looks forward to his doggy walks.

Alice has made a real go at creating and growing her business. She is a very capable young lady. She has a lovely way with all animals and our Charlie adores her. We have used many of her services, and we have always been more than happy to recommend her to friends. We will often call on Alice for help and advice too, nothing is too much trouble for her. Alice has also started to provide hampers for those special occasions and after the lovey Christmas hamper Charlie can't wait for Easter!

Ali looked after our felines for the summer. No job was too small for her and she took her time to come and get to know the cats before we went away. I felt calm, happy and settled and rightly so, as when we returned the cats were happy and healthy and I had regular updates about how they were and photos to confirm all was well. A really efficient, happy and helpful person. Will be using AJs services again. Thank you so much Ali for all that you did.

Alice has been amazing with my dog who is a rescue. She’s really coming out of her shell. She doesn’t trust strangers but seemed to really warm to Alice quite quickly. Alice looked after our beloved cat, Boba whilst we were away. First time having Alice care for Boba. Alice was so caring and professional, ensuring she did a meet & greet before us going away, and noting all information for boba including vets etc. This gave us reassurance she would give the upmost care to Boba. During our trip, she was in regular contact, updates and pictures, Boba took such a like to Alice. Highly recommend and already booked Alice for our next trip

I have two very precious sausage dogs and Alice understands just how precious they are to me. She knows I prefer them to be socialised with smaller dogs for their backs. She understands their raw feed diet. She's very knowledge about all different dog breeds but she's not pushy with it. She adapts to your routine and whatever is best for your dog she will do. She goes above and beyond for my boys and they love her so much. I wouldn't want anyone else to look after my boys. They love alice and she loves them just as much. Thanks for being you!!!! AMAZING. Will never use kennels ever again. We both use Barking Mad to send our 2 dogs, Leo and Kara, on holiday as well as having the pleasure of looking after other who spend their holiday with us. So far we have looked after every type of dog from Beagle to Great Dane and our two really enjoy being with Anne. Cannot recommend highly enough - why not give something different a try for your dogs instead of kennel.

Excellent service used them for over 4 years can't fault there fantastic service. Would not use anyone else. My dog loves his regular people he stays with when we are away. Would never use birding kennels.

My Best Friend North Shropshire is a wonderful find! Karen’s home and garden are brilliantly adapted to make dogs feel comfortable and she is very practical, knowledgeable and caring.

My 2 fur babies Sophia and Teena have been here 4 times now this year. The first time they were very nervous didnt eat much and missed me lots. Each time since they can't wait to go in and don't look back, they can both be a bit of a handful at times and get very excited.They have always been well looked after I am a fussy person to, I've never had any problems there. The girls there always make a fuss of my dogs. Thank you for everything you all do a wonderful job.

I have just picked up our little yorrky after a 4 day stay and I am disgusted the poor thing was so unhappy. Stank of urine his bed stank of urine. I feel so bad for subjecting him to what must have been a terrible ordeal. I will never use this place again the way our little lad has been treated is disgusting. I strongly recommend you think twice about taking your pets there.😢😢

We have placed our dog Otto a Standard Schnauzer into Fairfield's ladies fantastic care for nigh on 15 years. He's an old boy now but we still rely on these kind caring ladies to look after him whilst we're away. All the staff that we have met are friendly and caring to our furry child and we can't thank them enough! I would highly recommend these Kennels due to the staff; as they are the jewels in Fairfield's crown!

Has taken our dog since being a puppy, now as an adult dog they are lovely with him. Show him the extra attention he needs (as he doesn’t like being left) and even puts him in the puppy room so there is someone around him most of the time. He enjoys and gets excited seeing all the staff which is a great indication of how they are treated there. 100% recommend this place Thank you

We have a very nervous dog who doesn’t often like new people but she loves Ali and going to Tern View. Ali is always quick to respond and make adjustments to make Peanut as comfortable as possible. We also get photo updates when we’re away. Ali has been a life saver for us and we can’t recommend Tern View Kennels enough!

We left our Irish Terrier at Dogs at Home for three weeks, having been recommended it by a friend. What an excellent decision! Unfortunately, our dog became very ill due to a pre-existing condition and Karina was ABSOLUTELY wonderful. Sensible, caring, calm and keeping us up to date at all times, even using her excellent local vet too. We have just had the test results back and he is back at full fitness. Karina is not just an animal lover, she has a wealth of experience with dogs, and has exactly the right type of character to look after your dog in a professional and caring way. Anthony

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOME BOARDING SERVICE - We used Dogs at Home for the first time and we couldn’t have been happier with the care given to our two old dogs. They are both on medication, but Karina wasn’t put off by that at all, it just wasn’t a problem for her. Karina is obviously very caring towards the dogs she looks after and her wealth of experience made us feel very much at ease leaving our old boys with her. When we collected them we could see they were happy and well. We will definitely be bringing the boys back to stay.

This was the second stay for our rescue Mr. Darcy. I was nervous the first time we left him with Karina, but he came back home happy and healthy. His second holiday, he was happy to see Karina and wandered off her without any fuss! I am just so happy we have found someone who will care for our boy when we are away. I highly recommend "Dogs at Home", and we love getting our updates of photos and videos. It does our boy good to socialise with the other dogs in day or holiday care. Karina is professional, caring, and experienced in dog handling. Thank you.

I cannot recommend Dogs at Home highly enough. My dog has been attending regularly for day care and overnight stays since she was a puppy and she absolutely adores her time with Karina; always returning home happy, exhausted and content. Karina is really focused on providing a safe, protective and nurturing environment for the dogs in her care and is passionate about their welfare. Look no further for the very best possible care and experience for your precious loved one.

I was a bit worried about leaving our GSD puppy for the first time. Karina has done a fantastic job with caring for our big boy and kept us updated on his well being the whole way through with videos, photos and messages. I will be definitely using this service again. We went on holiday and this was booked before we got our Bear so it only felt right that bear went on a holiday too. I didn’t feel right sending him to an actual kennel where he would be locked away in a cage. He has had the most amazing week and great socialising too. Thank you so much for having him for us and taking such great care of him. He is one worn out pup but he’s had a lovely time. I’m so happy to have him home.

Update 16 months later (April 2023) - our dog was so neclected at Dogs at Home that he is terrified anytime he sees us packing the bags. It looks like poor old boy confidence has been lost forever. --------------------- December 2021 - We left our dog with Karina for Christmas hoping he will have better home than in a kennel. I can not comment how he was looked after as I was not there. Sadly when he was collected his fabric crate had a very strong smell of urine, detected on the drive back home (a very pungent journey!). When we checked inside, we saw that the crate and all of his bedding was full of urine. We had to throw away everything and became really concerned what happened. We called Karina and asked if she has any idea why our dogs bedding was wet and urinated. Sadly, she was unable to provide any explanation, and strongly rejected the fact that his bed was covered in wee. We can only state that upon collection, it was in an unacceptable state, and has caused us serious reservations about the level of care our dog received over Christmas. I don't like writing this review, and it is not something being done for any reason other than outlining our experience.

Parting with our three beautiful fur-babies is always difficult but Karina offers a home from home environment where we know they will be well looked after until our return. The regular photos and videos she sends are lovely touches and reflect the care and attention she gives to making sure the owners, as well as the dogs, are as stress-free as possible. I can highly recommend.

My boy Waffle has been going to Karina for around a year now. He is very attached to me and usually becomes anxious if he cant see me but handing him over to Karina its like I don't exist he doesn't even look back at me as he trots off to his stay. I recieve updates, videos and pictures and Karina is so flexible and has helped me lots at short notice. I'm so relieved I have found Karina as I know my boy is cared for when I can not be with him.

Karina was looking after our labrador Frugo several times now. Never had any issues and we were having a laugh seeing his pictures as he seems to have better holidays than us 🤣 He always looks very happy 😊 …
