Ashley looked after our senior pup as if she was her own. They bonded and did long walks together. Maizie looked healthy and happy when we got back. The house was clean, our plants had been watered (thanks Tim!), and we were able to just come in and fall into bed. Ashley and Tim were flexible and so helpful. Would definitely have them back!

Dogs vs. Cats? I could never choose. I'll take both!!
I would give Leann and Rachel ten stars if I could! They did such a great job with Winston. He's still shy around strangers but he warmed right up to them. They made the extra effort to take him with them for all their adventures around Berlin, which included public transportation, restaurants, and sights. I can tell he had a great time, as he loves being with people once he knows them. We got tons of pictures and updates, the communication was perfect. They also took the time to come a day early which gave Winston a chance to get to know them and it was lovely getting to chat with them without a huge time pressure. Genuinely wonderful people. Bonus points that the apartment was clean when we got home and laundry was started. I cannot recommend them enough! They are welcome back anytime.

Josh was a lifesaver! He stepped in when we had a cancellation and bonded well with one of our very skittish cats. He sent us daily pics and videos. Home was spotless when we got home after a long two days of driving…and even washed and changed the bedsheets. So appreciated! Highly recommend Josh…unless we need him. 😊

Rebekah and Matt were excellent! Very detailed, organized and clearly caring animal lovers. We were able to meet in person before we left town and they were thorough with any pre-sit questions or concerns. Rebekah sent photo updates of the pups on a regular basis so we could see our happy dogs. She notified us about a couple of possible health issues they might have been experiencing (thankfully all ok) but we very much appreciated the attentiveness and concern for them. Our trip was extended a couple of days so a friend stayed after Rebekah and Matt were committed for another stay but pics showed us a totally clean house, bed changed etc. Anyone would be fortunate to have them sit for their fur babies - thanks guys!

We loved having Staci take care of our precious Livia and our home. She went above and beyond to make everything lovely for Livia and the house. She picked figs in the garden, she fed the fish in the pond, she watered everything, and loved Livia as if she were her own dog. We couldn't be more pleased.

Samuel did a terrific job sitting with our fur babies, Zoe and Pistol! He sent videos every day and took the pups on lots of walks. The house was sparking clean when we got home. We highly recommend Samuel and would love to have him back again in the future!

Furry godparents bringing grounding, love and playful energy to your fur babies
Irma took detailed notes when she came for a walk through/ meet and greet before we left which was great. While we were away, we received daily photos and updates showing a very happy pup. :)
We could not have asked for a better house sitter than Myria! She is kind, personable, organized, responsible communicative and more...She read all of our instructions before arriving and asked lots of questions about our pups to make sure she understood their personalities and schedules. You can tell she truly is a dog lover. Myria provided regular updates and we felt 100% confident leaving our dogs in her care. We came back to a home that was spotless - you could hardly tell she had been here. I'd highly recommend Myria as your next zeewoi!
Brian was great and was my first sitter experience through TH to look after my two little dogs and one of them was a recent rescue I had for a month and learning new things and still training. Brian was good with communication, clear about his travel plans and we managed adjustments to him coming in early by a day. This was helpful for me to feel I can personally give orientation to my home and pets before leaving for a few days. Brian was also good with the hand-off to my next sitter when weather conditions delayed me. I came back to a tidy home and happy pets. Brian was calm with my new pup's minor furniture destruction. Thankfully I bought the warranty! I would recommend Brian to anyone and would consider him again for future sits!
This is our second time welcoming Michele and we were so happy to have her back! Our dogs Pedro and Samantha love her and it is clear she loves them! Our house was immaculate upon our return and Michele made her famous lemon chicken recipe which we gobbled up and then we asked for the recipe. We can't say enough great things about her and hope you are lucky enough to get her as a sitter for your pets.
Robyn was a great pet sitter and house sitter. She went way over and beyond my expectations!!!! She sent a photo of her and my dogs and they were looking at her like they were in love. And my cats are not very friendly, but she won them over also. I would highly recommend Robyn as a pet sitter and house sitter. She is a very sweet lady. I would love to have her watch my babies again and again.
Angela provided complicated medical care for my sick dog for three weeks in Mexico City with the utmost professionalism and kindness Right before Angela’s arrival, my dog was hospitalized and almost died. Angela took care of follow up vets visits, administered eight medicines a day for two weeks, and nursed tico completely back to health I could tell from the photos and videos that she was taking excellent care of him - he was too weak to walk so she made a comfy bed for him in a large bag and carried him a over the city so he could still have fun during his recovery I could not recommend Ángela more. She went so far above and beyond what a pet sitter should do, and she did it all with a caring and capable attitude
Stephanie was fantastic! Very organized and left our house sparkling clean. She also sent daily pictures/messages which we loved receiving. She took great care of our dog and our house. One of the best sitters we’ve had!
Jo & David were absolutely amazing sitters for our house and dog Rosie while we were out of town for 2 1/2 weeks. They are the best! Jo was super communicative and responsive at all times. She and David bonded with our dog, who grew very attached to them. They left our house super clean (and there were even chocolate chip cookies for us on our return)! Most of all, they are just super nice people and very easy to work with. Anyone is lucky to have JoAnna & David housesit for them.
Wendy was the perfect dog sitter and house sitter for us. She managed our house and dog and in such a caring a responsible way. Wendy was prompt with communicating with us and managed situations that arose professionally. Our house was spotless and our dog happy when arrived home. I knew everything thing was in good hands while we were away. I hope we can invited her to stay with us again.
Brian is awesome - he is simply the best pet sitter and house sitter that we have EVER had and we've had a bunch. He is experienced, thoughtful, respectful, loving, appreciative, helpful, enthusiastic...the list just goes on. Started with our initial call - it was our first sit with zeewoi and he immediately instilled confidence in us in how he talked about his experience and how he saw his role. In the pre-planning, he had great questions for us and helped us to get organized. He was thorough through the instructions, came in a day early to make sure he understood everything about our house and our dog and then followed through on everything. He even drove us to the airport and picked us up on the return. Along the way we were gone, he sent us pictures and kept us updated - always making us feel good about being away and knowing Jorge and the house were in great hands. We had workers coming to fix a fence while gone and some other activity at the house - he was helpful, available, and willing to do whatever was needed to be done. He was self-sufficient and when it came time to leave, he had everything organized and cleaned at the house - he left it in better condition than he received it. We would love to have Brian sit whenever we are away (and in fact will invite him and hope he says yes!) - any one would be lucky to have Brian as their house and pet sitter.
They took very good care of my pets which involved feeding cats twice daily, fish once or twice a day and filling up fountain for birds. Animals were healthy and happy when I returned. Nothing was lost or broken, and Diane even found a lost grinder part that had fallen into the cats food while I was using it. They are a pleasant couple. They were invited from Wednesday to Sunday. They arrived on Monday so had 3 days instead of one to learn the pets routine. They also informed me that they wouldn't be leaving until Monday morning, but that worked out well since I was mistaken about the end date of my cruise and couldn't get home until Monday. Everything was left neat, but I had minor housekeeping to do (clean sink, fingerprints off glass table, sweep floor). They are older than stated on the profile, which they said only allows 65 as a top age. 68 and 73. Bruce has health problems that requires he sleeps sitting up in a chair that has a leg lift, which luckily I had, so he slept in my living room. They are fine caring for cats, but my friend with a dog decided to find another sitter rather than leave him with them (she was going to pay) because they seem somewhat frail.

Our family is thrilled with the care our pup gets at Woof Pack Lodge! The staff are warm, kind, and especially accommodating. The facilities are incredible -- homey and extremely nice! The atmosphere feels like a big family which is very comforting to us and our dog. We also appreciate the detailed (and funny!) reports on how our dog interacts with the others. We are thankful and grateful for Woof Pack Lodge!
Woof Pack knows how to give dogs the best care! We were nervous leaving our dogs with a new boarding facility while we were on vacation. We have a 7 year old lab and an 11 month old puppy. The Woof Pack staff alleviated all fears when we visited with our dogs, answering all of our questions and had a plan for the handing out nervous older boy and our nonstop, energetic puppy. The facilities are amazing with large, spacious kennels where our dogs were able to board together. The "living room" was so great offering the dogs opportunities to hang out and feel like they were at home. There was a nice big covered play yard for outdoor time. The personal touch made it so much nicer to be away without worrying. We received communication throughout their stay including pictures, videos and updates to let us hear and see the dogs were happy. The staff really cared about our dogs. We are so glad we got the recommendation to bring our dogs to Woof Pack!
My Waylon had an amazing experience at Woof Pack Lodge! He has never been crate trained, so being in a kennel causes him great anxiety. Being provided a comfortable suite was a perfect for him! He loved his bed and spacious sleeping area. As a senior, he doesn’t engage in play with the other guests, but he was entertained by hanging out with staff and watching the others play. The staff was very attentive to his dietary needs. I loved the text and photo updates provided by staff. I was able to enjoy my vacation with absolutely no worries about his care!
Can’t say enough great things about Woof Pack Lodge! I boarded my doodle for the first time and the incredible staff gave me such peace of mind. The facilities are incredibly kept and extremely clean, while truly feeling like a cozy home for the dogs to enjoy. 10/10 experience!
Woof pack was able to get June in last minute and keep her safe and comfortable while we were out of town. June is a master escape artist and loves to roam but woof pack crew kept her contained and entertained! We appreciated the daily puppy updates/photos of our big baby while we were away too! We will be back and high recommend!
We absolutely love Woof Pack Lodge! Our 2 fur babies feel at home when they stay which is so important to us. Darlene and Jennifer always keeps us updated on all the fun our 2 dogs are having. We have finally can travel without a worry what is happening because we have Woof Pack Lodge to take care of our babies. Thank you! Thank you, Darlene and Jennifer!
I cannot say enough about Jennifer and Darlene. We have boarded our Portuguese water dog, Maverick with them several times. In I get pictures of Maverick while we are gone and updates on what he’s doing. This is the cleanest boarding facility I’ve ever been in! Wolfpack Lodge is awesome and I highly recommend it! It is Maverick home away from home
We have boarded our labradoodle Tori 4 time and we all love their attention to care they give to all the dogs. Our pup loves being with his buddies and it’s good to know he is well taken care of. They are the best kennel we have ever used by far.
I am so impressed with this kennel! The dogs have a nice, fun, and clean place to play, indoors and out, and the “living room” setting makes them feel like they’re at home! The owners and staff are amazing with dogs and take the time to learn each one and their personalities. Our dog is a returning customer and LOVES it there!
A phone call in response to an advertisement in the Highlander was my introduction to Woof Pack Lodge. What followed was an invitation to bring my dog Sugar, a 46-pound Golden-Doodle, for a tour of the new boarding facility. The tour was arranged at a time that would not interfere with pick-ups and drop-offs for other clients. Owners Jennifer and Darlene met us and allowed Sugar to explore the place. Allowing compatible dogs to play with each other was a big plus, as Sugar loves other dogs and people! We later boarded Sugar on two occasions, and we plan to board her again for longer vacations. By "vacations" I was referring to trips my wife and I are taking, but Sugar has such a good time at Woof Pack, her stay there is a vacation for her, too! Jennifer and Darlene are expert at welcoming dogs with a hands-on approach, and they encourage supervised play indoors and outdoors, including catching retrieving toys, with potty breaks throughout the day. Photos sent to us of our dog at play was a comforting bonus while we were on our trips. We can now confidently board Sugar at Woof Pack Lodge as if it were her second home and happy place!
We have been boarding our dogs here since 2015, and they have always been absolutely wonderful in caring for our dogs and in their customer service. We recently boarded them and were required to have the puppy package due to one of our dogs being 9 months old. They did take great care of them. However, since the new owners took over, their prices have increased dramatically, and they are not upfront about their new fees and policies. When I initially dropped them off, the receptionist/manager (whoever I spoke with) at the front desk showed me what the puppy package included on her computer, which said daily pictures as well as extra play time, etc. I did not receive any pictures for a couple days and called on Monday to check-in. She apologized and told me they were short staffed. I appreciated the honesty and began to receive pictures after that. If you are short staffed, how do I know our dog is getting the package I am paying for to begin with? When we picked them up, the assistant manager was disrespectful and unprofessional and refused to take any money off of the puppy package and demanded I show her where the other receptionist/manager showed me the comment that said daily pictures for the package. I told her I was extremely disappointed in their service and how different the management was since the new owners took over and that we will not be coming back as clients anymore. She was not bothered by it at all and said, "That's fine." I also suggested that they be more upfront about all of their fees, policies, as well as check-in and check-out times, which I was not told about when I dropped them off. Advice: make sure you get everything printed out beforehand about what all is included in the packages and fees and what you sign. Absolutely poor management skills and how they speak to their customers. $$ is the only priority here now. We will take our doggos elsewhere.
Just picked up my baby and she looks beautiful! She came home happy, and so was I to know that she was very well taken care of. Part of her day was at doggy day care which she totally enjoys. She went through 2 months of training at Barkingham last winter and it was the best money spent to now have a dog that knows her commands and continues to remember them. I would recommend them to any and all. From the owner, to the trainer, to the groomer all involved are tops of their field. Thank you Gary and crew.
First, let me start by saying, they take great care of your pets! I know my dog has been safe and cared for every time she has been there for boarding. We have been a customer of Barkingham for almost 5years. Since new ownership has taken over, the pricing system has changed. Just be aware the cost of boarding is not only what you are quoted as the nightly cost. You are also required to chose a “care package” for play and bedding type (the cheapest being an additional $9.95/ night). There’s an one dollar daily insurance fee. And this stay I just learned about the possible day care fee if your pet stays past 10:00am (i think that’s the correct time) after their night of boarding. Our last boarding for a single night came out to $92. I just wanted to share so others will hopefully not be as surprised at checkout as I was. I knew about the additional care package and insurance but the day care fee was not discussed until pick up. As much as I have loved it there over the years, I’m sorry to say my family can no longer afford it.
So first time at the Barkingham Palace, my fur baby was in need of a groom. She is a puppy and her first experience went well all thanks to the owner, who did a phenomenal job and had the upmost patience with her. Thanks again for everything!
Great place! We left our kitty there over the weekend, and it was so nice knowing that he was well taken care of. They even posted some pictures of him while he was there, so we could see how he was doing.
We needed a last minute boarding and Lindsay and Barkingham Plalace came through for us. Thank you for going the extra mile. Plus, and most importantly, our Sundae was well cared for and she had a good time.
Excellent staff (Stacy) and Groomer (Gary)! Our Mini Aussie had a rough experience at a groomer in Fredericksburg and we were going to be traveling through marble falls that coming Saturday. I spoke to Stacy on Friday and she was so helpful and accommodating! She got us in for a full groom the next morning with Gary. Our dog can be a bit fussy around new people, however Gary had the perfect introduction and Ollie took kindly to him right away (which was amazing in itself). As new dog parents Gary also gave us opinions and tips on how to keep caring for Ollie which was nice of him to do after the appointment. Ollie looked amazing with his new short haircut and we can't thank everyone here enough! Grooming is new to this location so give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
I would not recommend Barkingham Palace. The process started out very well. We were moving to Marble Falls, and in preparation we began to email. The owner was very communicative and responsive. Upon setting an appointment, we showed up and the check in was thorough, and everyone was very nice. Additionally, they offered a tour, and everything looked great. Fast forward to our pickup, 9 days later. We were asked to pick up after 2 o’clock since we had requested a bath. My wife showed up at 230 to pick up the dogs. It was chaotic with other guests, and after paying my wife went outside. At that point, she recognized our smaller dog’s eye was almost swollen shut. Additionally, both dogs were dirty. She went back inside to determine what had happened. They were unaware of ever seeing it, said it if was a trauma it was from our other dog, and to them it looked like allergies. However, once again, they had zero clue when the problem began, never noticed it, and suggested we find a vet. Additionally, the owner became very animated yelling for the staff to get a camera to document the dog’s eye. After discussing the eye, it was mentioned the dogs were dirty. We were told that was not possible. When pressed, the groomer was called in and indicated they were told to bath the day before. Additionally, the owner went outside to our car to truly make sure the dogs were dirty. She agreed and reluctantly offered to refund the bath. Our late afternoon involved calling veterinarians in the area to get our dog in. We were able to find a vet an hour and a half away, and made the journey, barely making closing. Upon examination, no trauma was found to the eye. Through taking a slide and evaluation under a microscope it was found the eye was swollen due a staph infection and would have been evident on the dog’s eye for more than a day. We are long time pet owners, and we know things happen. However, here are the things that are not acceptable. 1. The dogs were not adequately looked at daily. 2. The vet indicated the staff infection would be a result of inadequate cleaning. 3. When presented with the situation, zero empathy was demonstrated, and the owner wanted to fight about every point. 4. When a new client left, after paying a large bill, with a sick dog, crying you would expect a call. Zero follow up occurred from the kennel. Of course, we will not be back.
My Springer Spaniel was so happy when I dropped her off on Tuesday! There were at least three people giving her so much love! I called on Friday to check up on her. I left a message, but then received a call back within 30 minutes. She looked absolutely beautiful when I picked her up today! This is the best grooming she has received in a LONG time! Thank you for making her look like a Springer again!!
Been taking my dog to Barkingham since the new owner took over and he has loved the daycare and play groups they offer. He is always so excited when we pull into the parking lot and has enjoyed making new friends! Highly recommend!!
My 3 fur babies love Sky’s pet sitting. They have stayed from 14 days to 3 days. Always Love going back. We are starting Friday’s Day Camp. Can’t wait. If you’re thinking about enjoying your vacation with no worries about your fur babies go with Sky’s Pet Sitting.
By far the best dog sitter I’ve ever worked with. Will definitely be using Skyler to watch out dogs again in the future. 10/10 service!
We used Skyler for the first time as a drop in and were very happy with service. Definitely will use her again!
