The BEST boarding and spa in the area. Our Poppy can be a bit sensitive and have GI issues with boarding, but we finally got into here and she had no problems. On top of that she seems so happy and we love how the groomers made her look cuter than usual. The employees were so nice and attentive, even as I observed with other dogs, they truly love pets. The daily reports and pictures were so important when it came to my own nerves. I can't imagine a better place to board or groom our precious Poppy.

Friendly Grove did a great job taking care of our cat for a few days before he traveled abroad to meet up with us in Europe. They work closely with Across the Pond pet shipping so they know all the procedures and paperwork required. Friendly Grove has a wonderfully tranquil facility and I'm sure they will care for your pet just as well as they did ours.

I have been coming here for years and I love the customer service and fun monthly theme parties. This includes a variety of theme birthday/moving away parties! They are really an awesome facility. The staff is awesome and does excellent grooming on my dogs. The facility is huge and has the ability to groom and board and the grounds are huge and beautiful! Highly recommend them.

Our canine friend enjoys his time at Friendly Grove. We sure do enjoy the beautiful environment he gets to participate in all day. Over the past year, they've really taken care to ease this puppy into the lifetime of grooming needs he'll face as a Groodle. Lots of breaks, playtime, going potty, and staying hydrated. They've trained him for their own practices and procedures. They will give him the food I provide for his lunch. They take the time to go over the cut before hand, at the drop off. They are very busy, very well scheduled, and managed quite well. Their price is a fair trade for services rendered under the conditions he enjoys. They commit the time to our hairy friend, and he's always happy to see them. That speaks volumes to his excellent treatment while attending day spa therapy. ;)

We have used Friendly Grove for our dog for the past four years. They have done an exceptional job taking care of Bo. They take great care of her. They contacted us once to let us know she had some stomach issues (most likely something she ate prior to dropping her off) discussed care options and provided treatment. Then they followed up to let us know she was fine so we wouldn't worry during our vacation. Bo enjoys going there and playing with her friends. We are able to enjoy our trips knowing she is being taken good care of.

Karen is seriously a master of her craft. When we first met her, we could tell right away that she's highly personable and extremely competent when it comes to dog-care. We enlisted her help several times throughout the years and every time our dog, Jake, was beyond excited to see her. She's professional, flexible, funny, and great at caring for our fur baby.

You will not be disappointed. Karen has been caring for my pups on and off for nearly a decade. The last six months of his life my 100lb boxer stopped using his rear end. Karen came several days a week, put him in his wheelchair, cleaned up after him (no easy task), but most importantly, genuinely cared enough to help me track his needs. She took one of the best pictures I have of my old man. I took a few years to get my next dog, which Karen has now walked several days a week for four years. My dog LOVES her walks. If I happen to be there when Karen comes my dog does not even acknowledge my presence. Karen is communicative, reliable, flexible, and trustworthy. I have never once worried about my pets in her care. When my dog allows me to chat with her, I genuinely enjoy her company.

Karen is reliable and goes the extra mile. We have used her service for our kitty for several years. Karen is also a fun person to chat with and we know our furry family member is in good hands!

Over a period of several years I used Walkies and the experience was very positive. Even when i had a crazy, out-of-control hunting dog, she was well taken care of by Karen and loved seeing her pull up with her own dog. The two became besties. Amy and Rae took care of my kitty, Bella, while I was at a knitting retreat this weekend. I felt so confident that they would make sure that she was fed, watered, litter box cleaned and she was happy! They were able to give Bella her asthma inhaler which was so comforting to me! Amy and her crew were the best!!! Came and met my animals before and then got on the floor with them and played. They made me feel so comfortable to leave all 4 animals in their care. They came 3 times a day and walked the dogs and loved on them every visit. Each visit they contacted me to say they were there, sent pics and then gave details of their visit. They let me know when they left and how the dogs went potty and what treats or food they gave them. Highly recommend Oh My Dog (sitters) I look forward to having them in the future

And our dogs go bonkers when they see Amy or Brenda out and about, so I know they are given the best times on their walks and visits! We always use OMD to care for our precious pets while away. The team is very professional, caring, and attentive to details. I recommend them highly for both cats and dogs. Julie was GREAT! She kept an eye on our two cats for a few weeks while we were out of the country. She sent regular updates and pictures of our pets, and made sure that they always had enough food, water and a clean litter box. Her rates were very reasonable and we were very happy knowing our cats were in good hands. I 100% recommend!

Julie is THE BEST. We like to go on regular snowboarding trips, road trips, and other adventures and always feel like our two kitties are in good hands while we’re gone. She sends updates, takes care of literally everything (food, water, play time, litter boxes), and even brought our trash bin up from the curb when we were gone for trash day. Plus, our cats warmed up to her right away, which is a whole testimonial in and of itself. Julie’s easy going, super easy to work with, and really just great all around. My two huskies spent a day at doggie daycare and had a great time. They are a very busy place, but always take the time to handle my pups and be patient with them. I appreciate the staff and the great care they provide. Also recently boarded my huskies while I went out of state to help care for an ill parent. My stress was already high from the situation and leaving my fur babies only added stress. The staff were so kind and understanding. They gave me updates whenever I wanted and the pictures they sent were great. I am not sure the fur babies missed me at all! They had so much fun. I had them groomed on the day I picked them up too. It was the best grooming they had ever had. Super impressed and just love this place. See photos of fun.

I was super worried about boarding my dog as it has been 2-3 years and when he went to doggy daycare, he had a bad experience there….. however, Northwind was great!! They took good care of my boy and made sure he had the best experience! They even were able to get him to play in the social times with other dogs, which surprised me because my dog is a lil crazy sometimes.. Thanks so much for taking care of my baby while I was out of town! It’s greatly appreciated & I will be bringing him back here!

This started out a positive experience. We were boarding our 3 dogs for the first time, back in early July. We toured the facility less than a week before we dropped our dogs off to make sure we were comfortable with the decision. Everyone seemed nice and knowledgeable. We dropped our crew off 6 days later. We were gone for approx a week. When we came back, we picked up the crew and got a rundown on how they had done. We were impressed. Next day I noted my dogs were acting poorly, sneezing, coughing, lethargic. I called the kennel to ask them about it and I was told, oh yeah, there's Bordatella going through the kennel. I was told they posted a sign. We were there 3 times and never was it mentioned. I was told to just give them cough medicine and they would be fine. I was also told they would check on us in a couple days to see how it was going. We decided to call our vet and they said they would need to go on antibiotics. We also called our doctors, because my husband is a transplant patient and We were told we needed to get on antibiotics as well. There were times during the first couple of weeks our dogs were so sick, we had to sit with them in the bathroom with shower on to help them breathe. Our dogs began having diarrhea issues not long after that. We thought it was stress and the antibiotics. A few weeks later we had them tested, since it wasn't going away, and we were told they had giardia as well. Now, our dogs don't go anywhere, and they aren't around any other animals, so the only explanation was tue kennel. When we explained to our vet what had taken place and about how the kennel had handled things once we got home, they were not happy. Posting a sign and never disclosing at any point before, during or after our dogs were there, was considered poor practice in their eyes. It's one thing if the kennel staff didn't know, but they did. Why didnt they shut down and clean, air out, or whatever before taking in more dogs. We paid extra for our dogs to be kept separate from the other dogs to keep them as safe as possible. And we checked on them several times while we were gone. We also had a backup person available if they needed to be picked up. Them coming home with 2 seperate illnesses never crossed our minds. So the first thing some one is likely to say, when reading this, is these things happen. We are now heading to the end of October and our dogs are STILL sick. We've gone through several rounds of antibiotics, testing, other medications, constantly disinfecting and we are still dealing with diarrhea on a daily basis. That is 3 MONTHS of constant sickness, stress, expenses, medications, and there's no relief in sight. We have been told by the vet that because it is so contagious they keep giving it to each other. I have other pets in my home that have had to stay separated from the dogs, which compounds the stress, anxiety and workload. I want people to really think about that. We wanted to go on a vacation, which we hadn't done in years, and this is what we were left with. No being up front, no follow ups, nothing. Why would this place think ANYONE would be okay with playing roulette with their dogs health. This has ruined any trust we have in placing our pets with anyone else. If you think this is not a big deal, or okay in anyway, go ask your vet if they think this practice is okay. My husband left a review a few months ago and, in his words, no one cared. Still no follow up or explanation on why my dogs came home this sick. I'm angry. I'm angry and I'm frustrated that this experience gets a shrug and an oh well. I've noticed alot of people are speaking highly of this kennel, it was recommended to us as well, but this was our experience after ONE time when our dogs were being kept to themselves. NEVER AGAIN.

The staff was great, the tour was great but when we picked our dogs up they all had Bordetella (kennel cough). When we called them the person told us that there was something posted on the wall and we should of read it. If you are having any issues where our animals can get sick it should be discussed with us. Staff was very friendly and I liked the facilities but having a real tough time with our dogs being sick from staying there

Northwind Pet Center is a great place to drop you dog or cat off fir the day or when you go out of town. Their kennel areas are temperature control and their prices are reasonable. I highly recommend them.

JBLM Service members find another spot for your furry family members. I got my husky back with a gash on his head and a swollen face. After talking with the staff they said some other dog went after him after reviewing video footage and then I got the reply of, "we're not responsible for injuries at playtime." I doubt I'm getting the full truth because my dog is also wincing like he's afraid he's going to get hit and he's never done that before. Additionally: Don't take my word for it just look at other 1 star reviews and see the pattern for yourselves. Update: This kennel and their inept owner can count their blessings our furry family member made a full recovery. Talked with several vets about what happened and they think he either was trying to escape and got stuck or he was hit. I can't afford bail money should I find I was lied to and he was hit so y'all get a free ride on this one.

This is the most amazing place for daycare if your a dog! Our dog Cooper gets so excited when we tell him he is going to the North Winds! The staff is amazingly attentive and caring. We canceled coming in one day as Cooper had a sore foot. They called to make sure he was OK. The foot was totally unrelated to the NW, but the staff cared about him. We are so confident when we board him there that everyday is a good day for him. Highly recommend the NW. Such a great place!

Our dog Robin loves staying here when we are on trips. The staff here is amazing and always does a great job grooming her before she gets picked up. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a boarding place in Lacey.

We recently left our dog day care provider because of a conflict in operational requirements of our dogs. The operator running a compliance first, companionship second philosophy. Our dogs don’t need to be in day care regularly, but every so often and we’re looking for a place where they can have fun, gain social exposure and be safe when we’ll be gone for a longer than normal time during the day. Bark yes also addressed our needs for occasional additional services. Since I’m reviewing this on what is just their second day there, we haven’t taken advantage of the services just yet, but we will. The idea that they’re not playing in muddy rainy exteriors all day is amazing. I am Happy they are welcome at Bark Yes and a behavioral “report card” they submit during the stay is awesome. So if there are some issues with behavior or interactions we know what to do at home. So far, as I said I’m glad they are in a place where they can be safe, have fun, and be well cared for. Beyond recommended!

Been going here since 2022. Service has changed drastically and we will be placing our money elsewhere. Based on Google reviews, there has been sketchy things going on behind the scenes and I’m not even sure that they have a proper fire drill in case anything happens. Sucks because we live nearby and this used to be a good place. I just can’t leave my dog somewhere that I don’t trust completely. A couple of years ago, my dog loved going to this place — but the past few times, didn’t even want to enter the building. That tells me enough.

Our dogs are always happy to get their playtime in on their daycare days! Staff is helpful and always welcoming!

I’ve been taking my dog here since I’ve moved here this summer and it’s so nice to know I don’t have to worry about my fur baby! He always has an amazing time and is excited to go and then sleeps like a baby when we get home! I’ve been on extended trips where I get happy pupdates and he always smells amazing after his exit bath! Excellent and understanding staff! Highly recommend!

Don’t usually leave reviews but I went here after great recommendations and positive online reviews but honestly was left disappointed. Took our dog for grooming. Yes they bathed him but just stuck him in a kennel to dry. He has long hair and requires a brush but he wasn’t brushed at all. Still pretty damp when we picked him up, which isn’t terrible but usually he’s dry when we go other places. His face still leaves our hands greasy and smelly when we pet him. Probably the worst bath our dog has gotten. It was the cheapest bath I’ve ever gotten. So if you’re looking for affordable and have a short haired dog probably would be okay. Would not recommend long haired pups. Also paid for a nail trim and his nails weren’t touched. Not worth the price. I usually only bathe him once a month. He’ll need another bath in probably a week. Could honestly use one again today because his hair on his face and ears are still pretty greasy. The staff was really nice and helpful but unfortunately I will not come be back here.

Our two dogs Artemis and Aspen, have been to a couple of day care places but when we went to bark yes we knew it was the right place. Before they would hide in the corner and not play but here they have turned into playing maniacs and are so excited to go to daycare. We love having bark yes as an option for our high energy dogs to go to and have fun. We trust them to look after our babies, and that it huge. The staff is always friendly and we appreciate all you do to help care for our girls!

Such a great place. My dog loves the facility and the staff. Most caring, energetic, dog-friendly place in our area. The staff is so friendly and know all their furry guests by name. Highly recommend Bark yes. Especially Kaya and Emma, they were so much help!

I have three dogs and have left my dogs at BarkYes on a few occasions. Each time has been a worse and worse experience, I recommend after one bad experience not to bring them back. Last October we left our dogs and they were returned covered in pee and dehydrated. I thought of it as a fluke and decided to give them another chance this August. Our dogs were left Friday morning and picked up Saturday evening. One night cost almost $300, which would have been worth it had they been treated properly. When we picked them up, all three reeked of pee. One specific was soaked with urine. When I called they stated they had an influx of dogs for the weekend so smaller play spaces and that our dog may have rolled in other dogs' pee. I was offered a free bath, which was unnecessary since I called after immediately bathing them at home. They stated if the dogs had been there longer, they would have called to ask if I would like to pay for a bath. To me, my dogs were not treated properly and it sounds like this boarder is exceeding its limit on the amount of dogs it can handle. I will not be bringing my dogs back and would not recommend to others.

Its about time things are updated around here. I have used this facility 4-5 times and one of my dogs was abused at a kennel before I had her. She has intense anxiety at being left alone, left in a kennel. So I was very worried when I had to kennel her for the first time. I went in and talked with the owner and despite the negative reviews felt this may be a good place for my dogs. My dogs were both happy and bright eyed when I saw them and the rescue showed no signs of mistreatment. In fact, when I left her with friends in the past, she would always whine when I came home and was starved for affection. She was just happy to see me. She also never runs excitedly into anyone's home but when we go to doggy haven both girls leap from the car and run to the door tell wagging as I follow them in with their leashes. While we may view dog minds differently, she does a wonderful job caring for and providing for my girls. So aside from the rescue, the other is a herding breed mix and is very high needs in terms of exercise and play. So far she hasn't come back acting like she hadn't gotten to play much. She gets very grumpy when she isn't engaged. Both girls love it there and I don't feel guilty. Thanks.

We have left our two dogs with Marcia now for two separate stays. Both times, the dogs were healthy and happy when I picked them up. They were happy to go back a second time.

I moved from out of state and was really hoping to find a great place to bring my dog for boarding and daycare that he would fit into. He LOVES it at Carolyn’s. With a not super social but really high energy dog, Carolyn’s is the perfect place for him and I always trust he will be taken care of and come home calm and tired. What you get for the price is definitely worth it. They have plenty of staff and care for all the pups and make sure they all are grouped together so they get along. Everyone is really nice and you can tell they really care. They post updates during the day which is a cute way to check in on your pup. Everything from our first meet and greet day to extended boarding, I know my dog will be taken care of and enjoy his time. Highly recommend this place.

BEST DOGGY DAYCARE IN TOWN! The space is great and the staff is super friendly. My pup gets very excited every time we drop him off, and fulfilled and exhausted by the time we get home. This truly is an outstanding place for your dog(s) to socialize and get their needed exercise.

We found Carolyn’s K9 Retreat earlier this summer when looking for a doggy daycare and boarding for our sweet six month old Aussiedoodle, Gus. They were very responsive to set up a plan to help Gus get accommodated so we could board him for our vacation in a month. All the staff members are so kind and loving to all the pups! Our Gus had some separation anxiety issues during his first doggy daycare stays and his first overnight stay. The staff was very patience with Gus and able to help him calm down and become habituated to the new environment! Gus was able to have a wonderful stay at Carolyn’s while we were able to enjoy a road trip through Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. I would totally recommend Carolyn’s K9 Retreat for doggy daycare and boarding, especially for dogs who are not fully kennel trained!

This is like Disneyland for dogs! My dog loves this place and feels right at home here! She gets super excited when we arrive. The staff are phenomenal and very attentive. My dog is a smaller dog too and gets shy but the staff has helped her feel comfortable and welcome. She has made great doggy friends and loves staying here for the day or overnight. Your pet is in good hands when going to the Carolyn’s K9 retreat!

I LOVE this place. My pup is 1 month into classes & he LOVES it! I can hardly home him back when we arrive. When I pick him up, he's tuckered out from playing & learning. Bringing him here has helped my pup in solicitation & gives him lots of time to play with other dogs. Best part is seeing the daily pics posted on FB throughout the day while my pup is there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My dog isn’t the easiest- Lola jumps all the fences, has separation anxiety and is on medication. I’ve never been able to leave her anywhere! Until Carolyn and her team!!!! Carolyn and her husband own this amazing sanctuary for our dogs! All of the employees are exceptionally caring and attentive. We are so happy we’ve chosen Carolyn’s K9 Retreat as our local daycare/boarding spot. We appreciate that they require a meet & greet and a full day of daycare prior to boarding to ensure it’s the right fit for everyone. He is a puppy and Brittney definitely tried her best to accommodate to his puppy needs. He even injured his tail because he was too happy, got “happy tail” one day. He is a little menace and tried to jump over the fence a couple times which caused him to injure his leg but Brittney was always very transparent and informed my husband and I. If your dog isn’t a little menace like ours you should totally go with Brittney’s outstanding business, the puppies have plenty of room to play and they will be loved and cared for. We will miss Brittney’s dog house very much.

If anyone out there is looking for a place that will love your four-legged fur baby like it was their own. Brittany‘s dog house is the place to go not only do they do doggy daycare. They have boarding and they do grooming. I have done all three and you will be incredibly happy with either service you choose to use

Brittney is spectacular! I brought my puppy to her daycare over a year ago and just recently used her for boarding with my 2 dogs who are 1 and 3. My younger girl was a rescue from Mexico and she is very cautious around everyone but she loves dogs, I told Brittney my fears as we would be over 5 hours away with no cell service and she took excellent care of my babies. She helped me out when I didn't bring enough food and she kept me updated with pictures as a bonus! Great prices and always a great experience. so grateful to have a place i trust my dogs to go.

Brittney is amazing! She’s been watching our 3 dogs for 3 years now. We have her drop in on our pups on days my husband and I both work, we also have her help out when we go on vacation. She’s also dropped everything to take one of our dogs to the vet when my husband and I couldn’t make it. I couldn’t recommend her more. Our dogs love her. She’s super communicative and sends us lots of pictures when we are on vacation. We know our dogs are in good hands with her.

Brittney is literally the sweetest person! I searched high and low for a place to let my baby boy Boston have someplace to hang out at during the day while his Dad & I have to work. He is a 7 month old rottweiler that isnt neutered, so not a single place would even bother to acknowledge him or agree to meet him because he didnt meet their "requirements." Well Brittney didnt even hesitate to invite him over for a meet and greet with her pack of pups to see if Boston would fit in with her crew. You can tell she is passionate about what she does and how much she cares for her pack. My boy has been going to her place for daycare for about 2 weeks now and I cannot be happier about how excited he gets as soon as we turn into her lane. He sees her and he goes nuts, that's how I know she is amazing. Because dogs know when they are loved and cared for, and will show it ❤ She sends me updates (because I'm one of those hover moms that worries about everything) and even sent me pic updates to put my mind at ease. if you are looking for a place to bring your pup to burn off some energy, look no further. You will not regret trusting Brittney with the care of your pets.

We absolutely love Emily’s Wood Pack for our two dogs. Our dogs needed some socializing after the pandemic and they were nervous, but they made sure to communicate what days had calmer dogs, and always update with pictures. I would say they are even more affordable with boarding than other locations in the area considering how much love, attention, and space they are given. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. You can tell all the employees love the pets. Honestly amazing!

Emily has always been professional, prompt and friendly. Our Doggo loves her time at Emily’s! She made it super easy to find a day that we could come out and do a trial for a new daycare. Our dog had a great time! And Emily sent us an update on her first day to let us know she’s doing ok. Love that they have outdoor space for the doggos. Will definitely be back!

Emily Wolf Pack has been the best decision we ever made for our dog. Our dog went to day care once a week for a few months and he was the happiest. He was always excited they day he was picked up and came home happy and tired. We never had any trouble with the team working there or with our dog while he was taken care. They are very attentive, Professional, flexible and have great communication. I will for sure recommend this place!!

You will not find a better Doggy Day Care experience than EWP. The Pack Leaders engage with the pups continuously during the day and my two come home happy and tired. This team cares about each dog individually - they are a joy to leave my fur kids with.

I would definitely recommend Emily's Woof Pack to anyone looking for a daycare or boarding for their pups! We adopted our dog about a year-and-a-half ago and he was quite the handful. He didn't do well at a large daycare facility, and I was nervous to try again and leave him with anybody. Emily was willing to work with him and now he loves going over to her house! I love that she does overnight trials and a thorough screening process to make sure all of the dogs will get along before their first day of daycare. 10/10 would recommend 🥰🐾

Emily is a wonderful pet sitter (and human being!) and I trust her to the moon and back to give my pup excellent care. We had a lovely conversation before giving my dog a trial run at her house to figure out if my rescue dog's personality would fit in with the other dogs in the Pack. With my initial concerns about my dog's nervous and anxious behavior put to rest, I was able to leave her with Emily for 24 hours to test the waters. Emily sent photos and gave updates and determined that my dog was ready for a longer stay. Now, I'll leave my dog for her "vacation" with Emily this Christmas while I travel to visit family. <3 Emily came on high recommendation from my rescue, and I'm so glad I heard about her!

Outstanding care provided to my fur babies. I've used Home Sweet Home services since I've moved to Olympia (for over 7 years). I have two cats that enjoy her visits. I love getting the text updates and pictures that she sends to keep us up to date on the cats. She does an amazing job and I always know that my babies are in good hands when I am out of town. I much prefer to leave them in their own environment so that they are more comfortable while I am away. Home Sweet Home allows me to be able to to do this and ensures that my pets get the best care possible. I've used Deanna's services several more times since I posted my original review. I am always thrilled with the care she providers. She was supportive of me when I lost one of my fur babies. She's also been great with my new additions who just adore her! I had a death in the family and needed to extend my services which was done easily and quickly. This was very appreciated during this hard time.

Deanna has been our house rabbit and duck sitter (two ducks, in a coop/run) for a couple of years now. She is friendly, reliable, and caring, and she always sends daily text updates, often with a photo. Bonus: Deanna is a good pet photographer, and I send the cutest ones around to our family. Deanna is a great pet sitter!
