This was our first time using zeewoi, and Gaby made us feel reassured about leaving our 2 dogs behind to travel. She spent most of her time with them and sent pictures every day. It is clear Gaby loves animals deeply, so we were very happy to know our dogs were not just being looked after, but loved on in our absence. She took the time to get to know their individual personalities and quirks and give the specific type of care and attention needed for each pup. One of our dogs can be shy and insecure and very attached to me, but Gaby earned her trust in a matter of hours. Gaby allowed us to travel without worrying about our dogs, and we would have her sit for us again in the future!

Responsible and Perceptive Animal Lover
I had a last minute trip come up, and was relieved Valerie was able to take care of my kitties in a pinch. I liked her immediately upon meeting her, and felt her great energy would be a perfect match for my shy kitties. As far as I could tell, Valerie took good care of the kitties while I was away. The communication was just okay. She eventually replied to my messages about this and that, but didn't really initiate or share little updates or photos of the kitties and how it was going unless I reached out first. When I came home, I discovered that an item of mine was missing and asked her if she had seen it anywhere, thinking I must have misplaced it before I left. She acknowledged she had taken it, but didn't actually apologize, incredibly, and then it was a real struggle to try to get it back or at least have her send a replacement. After much persistence and pursuit on my part and quite the runaround on her part, she eventually replaced it, but I was a bit taken aback by her blasé attitude about taking it in the first place and then casual avoidance to resolving the situation. All very surprising, and an unfortunate disheartening footnote to the petsit. All that being said, she left my house very clean and tidy, and the kitties seemed very calm and content when I returned.

Karen took excellent care of Zorro...He could not be happier! Since it was a long term sit and since it was during the summer, Zorro had a bad case of the fleas. His flea collar and frontline treatment was not working. After communicating with us, Karen took the initiative to take Zorro to the vet for treatment. When we got home Zorro was happy and flea free.

Natasha is an excellent dog sitter. We met her before going on our trip, and she took note of everything! She was super independent while staying at our house and sent us lots of daily pictures of our dog. It was clear they got along very well, and she was very dedicated to his walks and care. Jasmine is a five-star sitter. She is everything you want in a sitter when you go away and leave your beloved pet and home. She is reliable, communicative, respectful, and flexible. We had no worries about our dog or home while we were away, and will be having Jasmine sit for us again soon. Our home was immaculate when we got home, and our dog was obviously well-cared-for. Alexandria was by far our best sitter yet (and we've had excellent zeewoi sitters)! She was responsible, self sufficient and very responsive. She took the time to come meet our dog ahead of time and to run through the routine before our trip. She was communicative and sent great pics of her adventures with Rupee while we were away. She was extremely clean and followed our household routine. And to top it al off, she left us with a homemade vegetable soup for our jet lagged return home from Europe! If you need a sitter don’t hesitate to pick Vanessa, I highly recommend her. She cared for our fur baby for two weeks and received the care and attention she needed. We came back to a very happy pup and clean home which is awesome after coming back from a long trip. I received texts and pictures of our dog while we were gone which gave us peace of mind. You could tell right from the start that she genuinely loves animals and will care for them as if they are hers. I will continue to use her as my pet sitter if she’s available. Jim sat for my extremely shy rescue pup and new kitten for two weeks -- my pup struggles with new people, and is very fearful of men in particular. And yet, Jim was more successful with her than any sitter I've ever had: I can't recommend him highly enough. He has wonderful patience, a calm energy, and is a great communicator. He consistently updated me with photos and videos of my sweet girls enjoying the world with him, taking my dog on hikes and adventures to her favorite streams. He went above and beyond both for her (in meeting her needs and taking the time to get to know her personality), and also in caring for my home. I returned to such a cozy environment, a repaired wood stove, an organized wood pile and an at-peace dog and cat. Choosing Jim as a sitter is ensuring that your pets and home are getting the best of care, and his actions exemplify his kindness, generosity and thought taken in consideration of others. I hope to have him return many times in the future; the experience was a privilege both for myself and my pets.

I cannot thank Jenny and Geoff enough for stepping in at the last minute after the original sitter cancelled. They are a great couple, friendly , organised and extremely capable. Also they LOVE animals. My dog and cat have clearly been given a great deal of care and attention in my absence. Jenny kept in touch with notes and lovely photos, Geoff cut my grass and I came home to a spotlessly sparkling house ! Thank you so much! Jenny and Geoff are welcome back anytime and I would not hesitate to recommend them as excellent sitters.
