We asked Ally to look after our two cats (and goldfish) while we away a few days. Ally did such a fantastic job last time ... so we knew that they would be in safe and capable hands. She remembered the pets from last time and our cat Jack just adores her. We received daily updates with videos and photos. I felt that Ally cared about us as much as our cats and I'd have no hesitation in recommending her. Thank you Ally!

We have been so lucky to find Ally! We bring our Cavapoo since she was a puppy - only occasionally for a week holidays or a long weekend when we can’t take her. From the first visit we knew our Betty absolutely adores Ally (she gives her loads of kisses to greet) and is always happy to go. There’s often other dogs and good buddies for her - she really seem to have a good time and we are kept updated on WhatsApp with pictures and videos which is nice. A 100% rating from us and we are just glad to have found Ally and her Purrfect 4 Pets!!

My dog has just had a four night stay with Ally. All of the dogs I met during my initial visit absolutely adored her and she them which was a great start. I had regular updates and photos throughout her stay and she even crate trained my dog out of some bad habits whilst she was there. She really put me at ease that my dog was in the best hands possible and my Frenchie had a better holiday than I did by the looks of things. I couldnt recommend and thank her enough. I will definitely be using her services again.

I've used Ally's services for two years plus now. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my gorgeous dog Winnie. The service provided is excellent, Ally is super professional and a delight to speak to, Winnie comes home a very happy girl! Would recommend 100%!

Ally has looking after our dog Billy for several years now at weekends and for longer holidays and he is a very happy dog when he is with her - in fact sometimes I think he is sad to come home as he has such a good time with her!!! Quite seriously, we know that the care he receives is absolutely first class, he is always so delighted to see her and "knocks" at her door when we drop him off. She is also absolutely scrupulous about vaccination and health records and feeds him correctly too. Billy isn't happy unless he has is made a fuss of, so we couldn't leave him in kennels, if it wasn't for Ally I don't think we would have been able to leave Billy or have holidays with complete peace of mind knowing that he is superbly well cared for. We can't recommend her highly enough ;0)

Mia loves Ally so much and I have total peace of mind when she is there. I know she is happy, brilliantly cared for and safe. Ally takes the stress out of going to work and going on holiday. She is a God Send.

Used Robs cat sitting service for first time after reading good reviews and meeting him beforehand. A lovely chap who understands the pet owners anxieties about leaving their fur baby to go on holiday. Rob had all the relevant professional paperwork and fee administration-I was impressed. My cat Gideon was clearly well looked after, had his bowls and kitty litter cleaned daily and Rob even emptied my kitchen bin and had everywhere looking great. Gideon came straight to me on my return and was definitely as happy as when I left him. I won’t hesitate to book this service again. Thank you Rob Adair Pet Care.

Rob is so caring with all of the dogs he has in his care. My dog has stayed with Rob on a few occasions and she is always happy there xx she is always well looked after and get love and affection from his whole family. I recommend Rob at every opportunity.

Rob looked after my 2 dogs, They were made part of his family and cared for as I would nothing was a problem. One was still a pup and Rob spent time with him training him he came home with the behaviour of an angel. Rob has looked after our Labrador since he was a puppy (now 5). Buddy loves Fridays with Rob and his pals! He rushes to the car and comes home at 5.30pm exhausted and very content! Buddy has stayed over a few times too at a very very reasonable price, you'd struggle to find a more enthusiastic, knowledgeable and caring professional to look after your dog, although we're moving soon we're not losing Rob; Buddy wouldn't forgive us! 😂

Continue to use Rob for my dog Skippy's holidays. Skippy is always pleased to see Rob out on the street and trots over to his car for his ride. Though he is happy to see me when I get back, next visit tonight. When he gets there he has Rob's own dogs to play with.and he is made to feel part of the family.

My Girls Poppy and Daisy, love staying with Rob and his family, they are so well looked after. I highly recommend Rob for daily walks and home boarding and have been using him for 5 years.

I am nurse and Rob walks my dog a couple of times a week for me. He has been doing this for nearly 3yrs. My dog loves him and watches for him coming. He is never late, or cancelled. I will always recommend his services and would never dream of using anyone else.

Kev is superb! Hugo adores him, the walks and the home boarding stays he has when us humans are on holiday. Kev is so reliable and easy to contact. Kev has a key to our home and is a daily visitor! I love the insta story updates so I can see the fun Hugo is having while I’m at work! Hugo is a happy, content boy and it’s such a great peace of mind knowing he has his daily interaction with Kev and the clan. Great service!

Kevin is absolutely brilliant! My dog Arthur loves going out with Kev and “the pack”. He always comes back a happy lad. He has also stayed with Kevin a few times as a boarder and I would have no hesitation in recommending Kevin’s services. All round top guy.

Our bearded collie Dougal who is 9 can be difficult to walk. He likes routine (the exact same route on his walk) but hates strange noises and can get spooked. We needed a dog walker for holiday times to support our dog sitters. Kevin’s reviews were great so we gave him a try. We were not disappointed. He has done an amazing job with Dougal through patience and understanding. Dougal loves his walks with Kevin and the other dogs so much and now he knows when Kevin pulls up in the van and he’s raring to go. Can’t rate him highly enough. Thank you Kevin we have a much happier, contented dog and dog sitters who don’t have to worry about trying to walk him.

Our pooch loves his walks with Kev, it’s brilliant seeing photos and videos of the dogs enjoying themselves whilst we’re at work. The main thing for me is that he comes home happy, tired and clean! Thanks for looking after him so well!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would, Kev is an outstanding home dog border and walker. Leia came for a weeks stay while myself and hubby had a well deserved week away. I was so apprehensive about leaving her but after 2 overnight trials I knew we had picked the perfect person for her to stay with. Kev updated me after her first day to let me know how she was doing and then let us enjoy our holiday, I didn't have to worry as he posted videos on his Instagram storey so I could see how she was doing and well she was living her best life ♡ It really put our minds at ease being away from her and knowing she was in the best hands. Our flight back was delayed by 16 hours and we had to ask Kev if he could keep her for one extra night until we got back, there was no hesitation and told us not to worry and she would be fine until we got back, releaving sowm of the stress of not being abke to get back for her on time. Absolutely brilliant Company, very punctual on collection, great walks, we also used him for full day care and also long stays in Kevin's family home which allowed us to have our holidays. Cooper was well looked after, we had photos sent regularly & updates. I would highly recommend Sit, Play, Stay and we are definitely using him in the future.

Dave and Sarah are awesome. Yoshi loves them and they love Yoshi. Yoshi had a great time with them. We could tell by the photos and stories of yoshis stay with them. We'll keep using Dave and Sarah for dog boarding. So pleased we found them.

This was Ruby’s second stay at Furry Towers and I can happily say she had the best time! I wouldn’t want her to stay anywhere else when we are away. She has lots of amazing adventures and walks and we are always kept up to date! She loved making a new friend while she was there and she get so much love and attention from Dave and Sarah. Thank you again for having Ruby! If you’re looking for a place to board your dog when you are away that is super caring and feels like home from home- this is the place!

Our cockerspaniel Tilly loves her holidays with Dave and Sarah and can’t wait for her next stay. They treat her as part of the family and she sure takes advantage of that. We are kept up to date with all her holiday exploits via WhatsApp. It is so reassuring to have Tilly stay in her new home from home , in fact she did not want to leave after her last visit.

I can’t thank Sarah and Dave enough for the love and care given to our 2 girls, Lea and India during their stay at Furry Towers. They put us at ease from the initial meet and greet to the moment we picked them up after their stay. They treat the dogs like their own so you know they are in the best hands. Our 2 girls have just spent 2 weeks with Sarah and Dave while we were away. We had regular pup dates and lots of photos of the girls having the best time! Bonnie stayed with Dave and Sarah for a fun —packed long weekend. I was so grateful for their professionalism in organising 2 pre stay visits so Bonnie would feel comfortable on her weekend. They took lots of information from us about Bonnie’s preferences so that they could ensure her care was as good as possible. Furry towers have looked after our dog, Bonnie, a few times now. Very warm, friendly and welcoming. The environment is a warm family home, so Bonnie was at ease and settled very quickly into her favourite beach walks and the odd trip to the pub :)

This was the first time we had left our lovely Labrador Charlie since he moved in with us as a puppy. So it was really important that we found the right place for him to stay. We couldn't have been happier when we met Sarah and Dave. It is obvious that they are really knowledgeable and interested in caring for the dogs they are looking after. We received daily updates to show us what Charlie was up to. It was evident from these updates that he was very happy and was being looked after very well. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Furry Towers to others. We are really happy with everything that Sarah and Dave did to look after Charlie. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be booking further stays.

We have known Sarah and Dave for a while as neighbours and were delighted to find out they were opening up Furry Towers. Our 4 year old golden retriever Ben can take quite a while to settle into someone else's home, but he took to Dave and Sarah instantly and was clearly very happy. The peace of mind we have from knowing the time, care and attention Dave and Sarah take with every dog is priceless.

Highly reccomend Furry Towers! Left my Irish setter Chessie with Sarah and Dave for a couple of nights, and she had the best time! Regular photos and updates for reassurance, have already booked her in for her next stay!

Have boarded our hamsters here twice now and are very happy with the care they’ve received. Very friendly and helpful during communication, and very good rates too. We’re confident knowing our pets are in safe hands and receiving proper care while boarded here.

When we go on holiday which we did this year in June we love our rabbit Ruthie to stay with Claire. She is very professional but it is the loving care and attention she gives Ruthie that we value the most. We know that we needn't worry whilst we are away. We have already booked with Claire for next summer so that we know Ruthie will be well looked after.

We board our rabbit here regularly. Claire takes outstanding care of our bunny and on a plus note she is open all year around!! Her prices are very reasonable and she is also able to cater for any grooming needs! Could not recommend highly enough, simply outstanding!!

Our rabbit Ruthie stayed with Claire while we were on holiday. We can't praise Claire enough for the care and attention that she gave Ruthie. Nothing was a bother to her even though Ruthie was quite unwell just before we had to leave her. The animals are kept in very clean comfortable surroundings. Claire even litter trained Ruthie which we hadn't been able to do. Any time in the future that we have to be away from home Little Furry Animals North East is the only place we would leave Ruthie.

Our rabbits will be pampered, brushed and nails cut. Clare really loves and takes good care of them. I would recommend any ones small pets to go to Clare for their holidays.

Couldn't be more impressed with Pets to Impress. My dog has been going for years and is as excited as when she first attended as a puppy. An ever changing menu of activities for pups to get involved in, all run by fun, competent, professional and friendly staff who clearly have the dogs at the heart of what they do. Love the pupdates on what the dogs do when there. You know your dog is in safe hands, which is so important. If I was a dog, I'd want to go to Pets to Impress!

We 1st used Pets 2 Impress for 1-1 training for our Cocker Spaniel (The training was mainly for us!),…it really did help us, and because of that, we now have an amazing dog who’s recall is brilliant, and who is a pleasure to walk! Our dog (Freddie) now attends the daycare once a week (more if we are away)…and he absolutely loves it, he gets so excited when he knows he is going to see his friends…he goes on Forest walks, Picnics, beach walks, the list is endless…I would definitely recommend Pets 2 Impress to anyone looking for a safe and friendly place to take their dog.

Both are very experienced and knowledgeable in the care, training and behaviour of dogs. Tim came to my home to carry out the initial assessment followed by Lauren’s regular 1-1 visits. I have used Pets2impress daycare now for a number of years too look after my dog while I'm at work. The team are amazing at what they do, each & every dog that is in there care are looked after too an amazing standard. All the staff are lovely, professional & passionate about dogs. The variety of service which is available is the best around & I can't recommend them enough. My dog loves daycare & I feel happy dropping him off on a morning knowing he is safe, happy & will have the best day.

I took my dog Hettie to the Pets2impress training classes and I was so grateful to Tim and his team for their support. Whereas a previous trainer had made me feel that she was a problem dog, and that I was a poor owner, Tim helped me see that she's just a typical spaniel, and gave me ways to channel her near-constant excitement! I just wish I lived closer, so that I could take her to day-care as well :)

I’m currently attending Puppy School at Pets2impress. It’s got to be the best place out there and I’m so glad I managed to get a space on the class. The instructors are lovely, incredibly knowledgeable and most importantly they REALLY care! The well-being of the dogs is clearly of the upmost importance to them, as well as passing on their training and guidance, to make us humans the best owners for our dogs. I hunted around and looked at a variety of different doggy daycares for my epileptic beagle as a puppy, deciding on Pets2Impress was a no brainer! Any time I have attended P2I the dog area is immaculately clean, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and my dog comes back full of tail wags and tired out. Whether it’s daycare or just an hour of stay and play, the staff are always interacting with the dogs and no question or request is ever a problem. Tim Jackson is flawless in his expertise and knowledge of caring and working with all breeds. Sometimes due to work we can go a good while inbetween visits however Tim still knows exactly who Ted is the minute we walk through the door which is amazing and tells me he takes a real genuine interest in every single customer. Have recommended this place to anyone and everyone with a pooch, it’s amazing! ❤️

We don’t use Pets2impress out of necessity –we do so out of choice. The decision to get a puppy was made long before there was any mention of a virus never mind the ensuing pandemic. We collected her end of Jan 2019 & after all vaccinations she joined Small & fluffy sessions Stay & Play at Pets2Impress (literally puppy playgroup). She absolutely loved the interaction but unfortunately after a few weeks we went in lockdown. After the lockdown ended, we joined a socially distanced puppy training class, mainly, again to allow her to have a little puppy interaction and the training was very good indeed. Trainer was fully experienced and made the sessions interactive and fun and the development of the puppies was a pleasure to witness. We reattended Stay & play sessions immediately when they were allowed to start again. We also completed the 1-2-1 training Agility package, where it became apparent our girl was a natural and began attending the weekly agility sessions too. These provide excellent stimulation and builds upon the bonds already in place, plus she comes tired and content. Not only do the dogs enjoy the sessions but the owners do too, it’s a chance to meet up on regular basis and I have made a lot of friends through doggy playgroup, especially as I wasn’t going too far after the lockdown, the sessions became my social outings and I looked forward to attending. When a second lockdown looked likely I decided to try the day-care facility so at least she would continue to see her ‘friends’. My expectations were exceeded by far! There is a structure to the day I didn’t expect, and I decided immediately to join the membership scheme as a Gold member and utilise the benefits offered. Now as day-care member she goes on school trips, super adventures, has her own time in the scent space, has term-time school photo’s and receives school reports! They have events for the dogs, (Christmas parties, visits from Santa, Valentines doggy weddings to name a few). Our dog truly has a better social life than we do! The biggest plus for me is the staff – they are very approachable and friendly and wonderful with the dogs. All the dogs vie for their attention and lots of cuddles are given. I can not recommend the services of Pets2impress highly enough, yes, they are supervised and safe whilst there as all day-care facilities offer but the physical health and mental stimulation, they provide routinely is second to none. If like me, you don’t like the idea of day-care please let your dog have a try, they’ll not only love it, but it means a night off for you as they come back so content, they will sleep most of the evening, unless there’s snacks on the go!

Eric (cockapoo) has been visiting Pets2Impress since enrolling in puppy training. He is well trained and has a beautiful nature. All of which wouldn’t be possible without Tim and the girls. Always on hand with advice and care. The school trips, adventure days, daycare and membership are all great value.

John is reliable and flexible which works well with our working lives, he gets on well with our dog and she seems happy with him

Coastal Dog Walkers has been excellent since we started using them at the start of the year. They are reliable, friendly and approachable. Our dog is well looked after and walked in small groups. We would recommend CDW to anyone.

What a transformation! We’re over the moon with the influence John and his team at Coastal Dog Walkers have had on our dog over the past three months. Truly surpassing our expectations of what we thought was possible for Saint, our lovely but grumpy six-year-old Border Collie now can walk with other doggies! Ever since we called John, the whole thing has been a breeze. We easily arranged a schedule and John comes to get her a few days a week where she gets an hour’s walk, dropping her back off again afterwards. We had thought she would need to be walked on her own—which Coastal Dog Walkers do offer to do—but she is managing to walk with other dogs. It’s fantastic for her, and we’re so pleased she’s spending time with doggy pals. It’s not just Saint who looks forward to John ringing the doorbell: the added routine has helped provide another bit of structure to our week; the extra support taking the pressure off so we can get on with other tasks. And it’s always lovely having a catch up when John comes to collect and drop off—he’s full of positivity and reassurance and just from speaking to him you can tell he has your dog’s best interest at heart. Every time Saint leaves with John we are confident that she’s in good hands. She’ll be back after her walk, happily knackered and ready for a nap. Coastal Dog Walkers do everything they can to guarantee your dogs are safe with them—they're insured, they make sure all their staff have gone through the proper checks and that everybody who is walking your dog is trained to a high standard. You can see the level of care John puts into his service in the improvement in Saint’s behaviour and mood. It has been beyond lush to see pictures of her hanging out with other smiley doggies on social media—out and about by the river or enjoying the sunshine in the park. It’s astounding, given that we never thought she’d manage to be social again. We’ve noticed a huge change at home and on walks—far less barky now than she was at the start of the summer. All those walks have burnt off the extra biscuits she’s been putting away over the winter. She’s much happier too, and so are we knowing she’s getting the exercise and socialisation she needs but we haven’t been able to provide.

John & his team have been walking Tilly for around 6 months now, I was hesitant at first because Tilly is quite old and can be grumpy around other dogs, however her behavior has improved and I cant thank John & this team enough. *Plus Tilly has won doggy of the month and also got a great treat from the team.

Would highly recommend John and his team . John has been walking Buddy for 3 months now. John is flexible and accommodating and I feel happy knowing that Buddy is in safe hands while I am at work . Great dog walker at the coast !

John and his team at Coastal Dog Walkers are absolutely brilliant and I would recommend them to any dog owner in the area. As we have quite a nervous ex-racing dog, John took his time to ensure she is walked with suitable dogs and provided many tips on how to improve her confidence, which made a big difference. He is always flexible regarding walking days and communication is quick and clear - to add to that, Poppy is more excited to go out with Coastal Dog walkers than she ever is with us!

We have been using Soledog every weekday for our Romanian rescue dog. Pete is extremely trustworthy and professional, and always ensures that Maisie is walked with dogs that will mix well with her character. He always keeps us up to date on her wellbeing in texts and on Instagram, so we know she is well looked after - thanks Soledog!

We can highly recommend Pete and Amanda, they continue to look after Cali our golden retriever for us as though she was their own. They are highly professional and very caring. We never need to worry about Cali as we know she receives the very best care and attention. We think Cali views them as part of her family!

Pete and Amanda have been looking after our wee Border Terrier, Ruby, since she was a tiny puppy. If we go away and she stays with them, we know she is having the best time and being well looked after. We get photo pupdates, too! When we go to pick her up she doesn't want to leave 😂 And there is no one she gets more excited about coming to our door than Pete picking her up for a walk with the pack!

Cannot fault the service and friendliness of Pete/Sole dog. Incredibly organised and very understanding of our needs (and our “lively” terrier) We are very fussy who we consider to look after our pooch and are 100% happy with Soledog. I’m actually really relaxed knowing he’s in capable hands. (Paranoid dog owner) Pete is a great bloke that even uses 2 leads at my request ha. Our dog loves him and actually tries to go in his gate every time we walk past Petes house. You won’t go far wrong with these guys. Jamie

Pete and Amanda have looked after our 18 month old beagle, Heidi, since she was a puppy - she absolutely loves her weekly adventures with Soledog, has made great friends and always sleeps for hours when she comes home, which is a bonus! She has also had a few overnight stays, where we get regular updates and photos (some of which have made it onto our walls at home!) It’s great to know she’s being taken care of so well when she’s not with us and we feel so lucky to have found Soledog 🐶

Great with the dogs, very reliable, flexible and a real pleasure to work with. Both Pete and Amanda take their work seriously and we know our dog is in safe hands, whilst having loads of fun. If he is muddy, they will take the time to clean and dry paws before letting them loose in your home! No reason not to go ahead and use soledog if you're in need of a reasonable, professional and fun, friendly service.

I've entrusted my dog Logan with Soledog for daily walks. I'm always impressed by the considerate service. Logan gets out on the beach for a good run and fun! Fully recommended.

Pete met my dog Rosie as she was coming into her first season so she was uncharacteristically nervous. He took so much time and patience to get her to trust him in that session. He walked her for over a year (until COVID) and he’s very professional and reliable. He attends when he says he will. He walked my dog off lead but made sure he was happy with her recall first. Best of all he’s great with dogs!

Pete has been walking our golden retriever, Alfie, since he was 16 weeks old. They have clearly built up a strong bond and Alfie is always happy when Pete arrives at the door. It is plain to see that Pete and Amanda have an affinity for dogs and really care about their wellbeing. We wouldn't trust anyone else with Alfie.

Soledog is a great dog walking & boarding service. They are friendly, reliable & have a great bond with the dogs they walk. My dog Molly loves her walks with them & gets so excited when she sees them.

Karen from Sandy paws, was great with our Belle when she stayed for 9 nights. Prior to booking Belle had a meet up then a sleepover. Karen was then happy for Belle to stay as a guest. Belle was very settled and happy. Phots and video were received everyday which was great. We would definitely recommend Karen from Sandy paws.

Right balance of home from home and professional care. My girls have had a wonderful time with their first overnight stay at Sandy Paws 🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺... Husky and German shepherd with different exercise needs and personalities. Both were looked after with lots of attention, love and made themselves right at home. Were content and happy. We will be booking in again. Thank you Karen and Michael for putting my mind at ease 🙏🩵💙.

Thanks to Karen at sandy paws South Shields for looking after our sausage dog she’s only 6months and what a fantastic time she’s had. We had a trial assessment before hand so our dog was familiar with the environment, very thorough checks done by sandy paws and plenty of updates during her stay letting us know how she was getting on , we where so happy to find a home environment appose to kennels so we knew she would feel relaxed and settled , I can’t thank yous enough for looking after our dog. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking about using sandy paws .
