My dog LOVES the team at Walkin the Dog! We've been to a lot of daycares around the country, and he is always the most thrilled when he sees the handlers at WTD <3

We had some last minute plans that required us to put our 9 mo old Boxer pup in day care. Merrill and Marissa were amazing! Our pup got a lot of attention and exercise and came back to us completely wiped out! This place is great, highly recommend!!

My 6-month-old puppy, full of energy, is at daycare 2-3 times a week. She loves it. The owner and employees are nice and friendly!

This place is terrible and the owner is one of the meanest people. She somehow gets her 1 star reviews deleted off yelp. There used to be a bunch but now they’re gone for some reason.

Awesome place. Awesome staff. My dog jumps out of the car and races to the front door every time and loves being there comes home happy and tired.

Awesome place to visit… very close to Vail… the Soup buffet is best for after trail walk or skiing adventure!

Heidi was great! Me the wife + 10 month old baby were staying in the Grand Hyatt. Had a great time switching off skiing for a few days but wanted an entire day to ourselves. Heidi wad recommended to us by the hotel staff and I can see why. Very professional, communicative and engaging with our baby. Will definitely keep her in our contacts list next time we make a trip to Vail.

Heide was absolutely WONDERFUL!! She watched our daughter for four afternoons and our daughter had a complete blast. It was so awesome to spend time with our two older boys and know that our daughter was in safe hands. We are returning in February and will be using Heidi again.

Heide watched my 2 boys (3 / 11 months) while we were at a wedding in Vail this past weekend. She was amazing- so easy to work with, professional, and flexible. She came prepared with some toys, took them to the library, and got them down great. I had been nervous to leave them in a new place with a new babysitter and she made me feel so comfortable. Would absolutely work with her again! Plus she found my sister a sitter for her 4 month old very last minute, and she had an equally positive experience. Thank you Heide!!

Heidi was amazing with our kids! She took on two families, 6 kids total, and they had a blast. She was very professional, on time and kept the kids entertained for several hours then got them all down for the night. I highly recommend Heidi!

Heide was absolutely wonderful with our baby and made our time in Vail so much more enjoyable. While we skied, we felt completely at ease knowing our little one was in such caring and capable hands. Heide kept her happy, well-fed, and entertained, and it was clear she genuinely enjoys caring for children. We’ll definitely reach out to Heide again the next time we’re in Vail, she was the perfect sitter!

This is our 3rd summer using Heidi. I have 4 young children and she is able to handle them effortlessly, which is not an easy feat because our children are very active. She knows all the amazing local spots for children and I trust her to drive our children to these various places and keep them entertained while we enjoy some adult time in Colorado. We previously had some bad experiences with sitters, but our kids love Mrs. Heidi. When we tell them they have a sitter coming, they made sure to ask that it’s Mrs. Heidi. We already know we will be using her when we come back next summer. Bonus- she also has great recommendations for adult activities!

Lynda babysat my 9 month old twins twice while we were in Beaver Creek! She was amazing. She loves children and has raised 2 sets of twins of her own. She’s personable and came over early just to make sure she understood their feeding/nap schedule. I highly recommend her and will be requesting her again next summer!!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Hiedi and the service she provides are irreplaceable . She watched over my four and eight year old while we were in Beaver Creek. Our needs shifted a few times while we were there and she was incredibly supportive and professional. My children are in love with her and the fun they had with her. She was timely, clean and truly loves working with kids. If you are looking for a sitting service, she’s your gal! Thanks for the hard work !!!

Heidi was great with our 4 month old. She stayed with her at the hotel, played, strolled her around then put her to bed for us. She allowed us to have a fun date night in Vail. I will definitely call again next time i’m in town!

We went up to Vail for the day. She took care of my babies for 4 hours. She wonderful and my kids really liked her. I would recommend her to anyone.

Another local recommended we try booking a grooming appointment with Holly and I'm so glad we did. She did a phenomenal job grooming my doodle, which is no small feat. We will be back.

Persy absolutely loved this overnight boarding location in Avon. He had so much fun and warmed up to some bigger dogs during play time. Hollie went out of her way to send a picture of my baby. Next time I’m in the area and need to drop off a dog, I’ll def be using vail doggie again!

We were visiting from out of town and the woman working took extra care to make sure our dog (who was shaking in her little pants) was comfortable and safe

Great place to give your dog exercise, socializing and a safe fun place to be when we need to be away for most of a day. And if we need to have our furry buddy stay overnight, that’s an option also. Holly has had this great place for many years, that is worth celebrating!!!

Whiskey, our 4 year old husky/cattle dog mix had an awesome time at Vail Doggie Day Spa/Lodging! Holly was very responsive and easy to work with, especially with our last minute request. Our gal definitely had a good time and we were definitely grateful for the care.

We had to board our dog for a few days while attending a wedding in Beaver Creek. Holly and her staff could not have been nicer to us and our dog. We could tell right away that they knew a lot about dogs and cared about our best buddy. They were all kind, professional, personable and were always responsive to our questions and concerns. They even sent us a video of Cleo playing. I will definitely use them again when we return to Vail valley. Thanks from us and Cleo!

Our 2 labs got to stay with Holly and her team on Christmas Eve and we were very happy with their treatment. We have senior dogs(12 & 15) and Holly asked several questions about their activity level, health, etc. She seems to genuinely love the animals. We will most certainly use them again! Thanks, Holly!

We came in the late morning, and was surprised to see the facility was a garage and a parking lot. There were so many dogs barking as we walked up I asked my daughter to peek in the garage window to see the atmosphere and she rudely yelled at my daughter saying we can’t look it as it would disturb the dogs. I asked to see the facility, she said I couldn’t (assuming due to Covid). I asked how do we leave feeling good about how he will spend his day, she did and about face and walked off telling me to have a nice day. Luckily I found a wonderful person on Rover.

Nikohl was an absolute lifesaver during our weeklong trip to Vail earlier this winter. She looked after my pup Maisie, walking her a couple times a day as well as providing 'babysitting' coverage during dinners. Can't say enough good things about Alpine Buddies - incredibly dependable, professional, punctual, etc. Nikohl is also amazing with animals (and I'm sure children too). My dog is generally not trusting of new people, but they were best friends by the end of day one. By the time we left, Maisie's ears would perk up and she would run to the door if she even heard Nikohl's name! She's helped out my family with their Shepherd during their visits to Vail and will always be my go-to when in town. Can't recommend her enough if you need someone with an absolutely lovely manner that you can depend on.

Nikohl is the absolute best! She took care of our dog, Ellie on our ski trip! She was very attentive, communicative and overall an amazing person and we just knew Ellie had the greatest time with her ❤️

I highly recommend Nikohl and Alpine Buddies! Being an overprotective dog mom to a senior dog, I always have reservations about leaving town without my best friend, Bo. He is 15, just started new medications, was having separation anxiety and I was worried about going on my trip. Nikohl eased my mind tremendously keeping me updated with pictures and videos of their outings, staying in touch with my roommate to make sure Bo was around for his walks, and staying in constant contact with me as well. Bo obviously loved seeing her each time she came to walk him. She even gave him his medication. After having a less than ideal experience with a dog walker in the fall who didn’t always show up, I was hesitant on trusting someone again. Nikohl is extremely professional and obviously loves her job and is terrific at it. Bo was happy to make a new friend and I couldn’t be more please to know there is a responsibile dog walker in the valley that I can trust. 10/10 recommend. I hope she always has availability in the future because I don’t want to use anyone else.

Nikohl is the best! She has walked our corgi for years when we're in town and is always EXTREMELY dependable. Very quick response time via text even to last minute requests (thank you!) and 100% reliable.

Nikohl was great taking care of our kids and their cousins while we were in Colorado. (5 kids under 6!) She is always positive, and she’s full of good ideas for activities to do with little ones, both around Vail, and in a hotel room. I laughed when she sent a picture from a game of Simon Says! I’m so happy we had Nikohl’s help during our trip.

Nikohl was absolutely amazing! We come to Vail multiple times a year and we were looking for someone to watch my kids + my nieces and nephews while we had a parents night out. We hired her 2 nights and she was amazing both times. She was great at keeping us updated on the kids and sending cute pictures. She was caring, punctual and super friendly. We will definitely be using her again. Our 5 children’s ages range from 6mo, 18mo, 3yr and 6yr.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Chelsea at Doodle Doo Pet Services! I recently had to go out of town for a week and was incredibly nervous about leaving my two dogs behind. From the moment I contacted doodle doo, their professionalism and genuine love for animals put me at ease. During my trip, Chelsea provided regular updates and photos, showing my pups having the time of their lives. It was clear they were receiving top-notch care, attention, and lots of playtime. She even took care of small details like feeding them their special diets and administering medications. Dog days of Summitt is top shelf all the way. Angie is an incredible communicator, she genuinely cares about your dog, provides a wonderful experience for both the owner and the dog, and we learned to trust her with our beloved pooch implicitly. We cannot recommend her enough. Our golden retriever adored his time with Angie.

Angie came through for our family's unusual request for a dog walker during my dad's burial service. She was kind, sensitive, and understanding. She took them to the closest possible position outside the fence. My dad loved dogs and taught us that they are family too.

Angie was our "go-to" dog walker all winter long, and she was amazing! She was super communicative, reliable, and also so sweet with our puppy. She even helped with reinforcing the training we were doing. Angie is the best!

Dog Days of Summit is the absolute best!! My dog, Hank, gets so excited when Angie comes over. He loves going on pupventures and is always stimulated - there’s a lot of variety so he’s never bored with the activity. As he’s started to slow down in his older age, Angie has adjusted his adventures to be the perfect amount of activity. She also takes amazing care of him when dog sitting. I’m pretty sure Hank doesn’t even miss us when we’re gone because he has so much fun. I highly recommend!

Great and affordable place for animal boarding. We brought our dog Clyde in and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. My only complaint would be we left his bed with him for his stay and we received it back smelling horribly of cat urine. I think it was a simple mistake these folks are great and very friendly.
