Not only was I able to focus on my work I had the ability to sleep while I was away without the worry that the fur-kids were having a challenge with me being gone. Den is an excellent communicator, provided photos and great commentary of the events on a daily basis. He is clean, organized and I came back to my home in perfect order! The fur-kids were happy and Tulsi did not display any signs of separation anxiety!! What an amazing sit! Annie is sweet and well mannered. She gets along with all fur friends without any challenges. I can’t express my appreciation to Den and Annie for providing the companionship that the gang needed while I was away on work. Den and Annie are welcome back to our place anytime. Our door is open and the fur kids welcome you both with open paws!

Not only was she flexible and was able to wait until I recovered from COVID, but she met us in advance of the sit dates, she knew just what to do to let my new trauma rescue pup warm up to her and she is a delight to get to know. Bumble was happy to see me come home, but I think he misses his cuddles from Angie. Both he and I are anxious for Angie to come back for a fun visit.

Outstanding Colorado references
This is the second time that we've had Tami stay with our boys and once again, she did a wonderful job! She stayed for three weeks and took care of our two cats and our 6 year old yellow Lab, Koen. She made sure that he got his two outings every day, either walks or to the dog park. She was great in sending us lots of photos of them all and she always communicates if she has any issues or questions. She left the house in great shape too. I highly recommend Tami, as she will take great care of your pets and your house while you're gone. We're really hoping that she can come back again next summer!

If, or when, you can get Claire to take care of your furry friends and house, do not hesitate! This is our second time having Claire tend to our sweet but very active dog Biscuit, and our house. Biscuit misses her endless youthful attention. Our house appeared as though no one has been living here, except there was no dust or dog hair. The place was spotless. Claire is a winner!!

Laura was everything we asked for and could have wanted for Molly. After meeting Laura it was immediately obvious that she has a special love for animals . She brought with her Pipkin, a rescue from the streets of Mexico, and they both got on just great, as Laura had said would happen. I think that Molly felt like she was on a vacation too! Our house was spotless and everything looked great when we arrived home. We never had trouble communicating, and received lots of pictures at our request. She listened to our concerns about Molly’s special needs (don’t disturb when sleeping, etc) and made sure that Molly was always happy and fed . We would not hesitate to ask her to come back in the future. Thank you Laura for being a great pet sitter for our Molly!!

We loved having Sue stay in our home and care for our zoo! From the moment she reached out we felt good about moving forward with her - not only did she already have great reviews, her initial message to us was detailed and thoughtful. Sue was quick to respond to our messages and texts, arrived and left when she said she would, and left our place clean! All the animals were in good spirits when we returned. We would be glad to have Sue back at our home :) The only thing we would ask for next time is that Finn be left outside on the last day as we had a very long travel day and he can't be left inside for more than a few hours. We could not have asked for a better house sitter than Myria! She is kind, personable, organized, responsible communicative and more...She read all of our instructions before arriving and asked lots of questions about our pups to make sure she understood their personalities and schedules. You can tell she truly is a dog lover. Myria provided regular updates and we felt 100% confident leaving our dogs in her care. Diane and Les were excellent pet and house sitters. Jet was a very happy dog when we returned and Diane had shared many photos of their days together while we were away on holiday. The house was very clean and tidy when we returned and some milk , bread and sweet treats had been left for us, which were very welcome after our 2 long flights home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Diane and Les as sitters for your home and pets, everything was done to a high standard and Jet was happy in his usual environment , which is all we wished for. I’m sure most folks say the nicest things about their sitter, but honestly, if there were a “super star” status available then Denise would win the prize as sitter of the year! From the start, Denise was an excellent communicator. While we were still in the decision phase, Denise was always available to chat either by FaceTime, telephone or text. It was so easy to choose Denise; as you can see from her countless 5 star reviews, she truly is the only pet sitter you’d ever need and the one everyone hopes to have. Denise came to our house eager to meet us, our pets and the quirks of our house. Denise has an excellent sense of humor and immediately put us all at ease. Our pets took to her as if she was a long lost friend (even our finicky Siamese cat was loving on her from the start). While we were gone, our dog had a non-emergency health issue come up and just like that Denise was taking her to our vet, and administered the dog’s meds like a champion (Denise is also a nurse BTW). Additionally, Denise brought our pup to her scheduled groom appointments and even made future appointments for us to make our return home as seamless as possible. Denise was even above and beyond helpful to our neighbors and they appreciated her giving them access to our refrigerator when theirs broke down on Thanksgiving Eve! When we got home we were super impressed by how perfectly immaculate our house was! Most sitters leave the house clean, but Denise met and may have even exceeded our military standards of clean and orderly. Seriously, our house felt like we never left it. Everything was spotless, shinny and clean. She didn’t miss a beat!! Our pets were so happy to see us but honestly, I felt like our pup and kitty were disappointed when we walked in the door (I believe they were expecting to see Denise!). Haha. If you are ever fortunate enough to have Denise apply for any of your sits then I can’t recommend her enough. Seriously, you can stop reviewing applicants and just go with Denise. She was awesome in every sense of the word and I hope she’ll come back and stay with our pets again.

Joanna and David were wonderful sitters for our dog Broderick and our apartment. Before starting to sit for us they took time to come and meet Broderick which we were very appreciative of. During their time sitting for Broderick we got great updates every day and wonderful photos of our pup, and they were very responsive whenever needed. When we got back home we found a happy puppy, healthy plants, and a spotlessly clean apartment - they had even taken the time to wash sheets and towels and left us a kind thank you note. Jim sat for my extremely shy rescue pup and new kitten for two weeks -- my pup struggles with new people, and is very fearful of men in particular. And yet, Jim was more successful with her than any sitter I've ever had: I can't recommend him highly enough. He has wonderful patience, a calm energy, and is a great communicator. He consistently updated me with photos and videos of my sweet girls enjoying the world with him, taking my dog on hikes and adventures to her favorite streams. He went above and beyond both for her (in meeting her needs and taking the time to get to know her personality), and also in caring for my home. I returned to such a cozy environment, a repaired wood stove, an organized wood pile and an at-peace dog and cat. We are very picky about our dog sitters, and we chose them because they have been doing this for a long time and track your wants and needs carefully and follow through with utmost care and integrity. They offered to come the day before we left to meet Winnie so that we could rest in that she would trust them and connect to them. Liz was kind, reliable, and very flexible as we were looking for someone to watch our dog while we were in town part of the week and were skiing. I was looking for a high-quality place to board my dog, and i lucked out and found Happy Paws! Shelley met me on a moments notice to meet me and my My German Shepherd. She sent me videos of him romping on the ranch, the first time he was there, to calm my worries we always gave, on the first stay He absolutely loves going there, (and Shelley)! When we bring him, and she takes him from us, he doesn't look back! I feel so confident in the care he gets there, never a worry. We all have our quirky instructions with our pets, and she accommodates mine : ) A ++++×+

I've taken my dogs to about 5-6 daycare's already and I'm usually hesitant to leave them anywhere, but Wanderlust is AMAZING. The staff, the sanitation, the play area, the photo updates, the overnight 'cabins', I wish they had a facility in Denver! My dogs were so excited to go there (which typically they aren't in any other daycare). This is the first time I didn't feel bad about leaving them, I know they were well taken care of and had a blast. I love that they also give you a tour of the place as well, which we've never experienced anywhere else. They should be the example for every other daycare. Thanks for such a fantastic stay and taking care of our babies!

Our dog LOVES Wanderlust, and the staff loves Libby as much as we do. It’s so great to have a warm and welcoming (not to mention clean and safe!) place to leave her when we are out of town, knowing she is in amazing hands and is getting just as many belly rubs as she would at home. *update because we love them* Wanderlust is an incredibly special place here in Eagle. The staff is so warm and caring to dogs and humans alike, and there are a few days every year when we truly don’t know what we’d do without them - last minute overnights and bath days for our water-hating lab included. Who knew you could be so loyal to a dog boarding facility? The Wanderlust crew has a cult following and for good reason.

Poncho has been playing at Wanderlust at least once a week since we brought him home from the shelter 4 years ago. The staff is filled with wonderful people who take excellent care of him. They are quick to notify me of any concerns that arise. It has been great for his socialization and play. He comes home a very tired, happy guy. I love getting a report card in the middle of my work day. I know when he is there that he is safe and well cared for.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Wanderlust! We live in Denver, and we recently vacationed in Beaver Creek. We have a large, very anxious American Bulldog that was not doing very well in the hotel during the day. I was desperate to find a solution and landed on Wanderlust in a Google search. Despite being so last minute, the staff welcomed us with open arms to come in the next morning and see if Lucy was a good fit for day care. She was shaking uncontrollably as we walked in, but seconds after the wonderful gal at the front took her back, she joined in and started playing instantly! The facility is very nice, very clean, and the staff is so warm, happy, and helpful! I was at ease the entire day knowing Lucy was in great hands, and even received a text with a picture of Lucy having an absolute blast! We are so grateful to have found Wanderlust, and are excited to see them again soon!

The kennel insisted that they couldn’t give medications to one of our pets due to the possibility she may get aggressive. This specific cat had to have a daily steroid due to a diagnosed illnesses. We stated multiple times that she could have nothing but a veterinary diet prescribed by an internist and the vet at aspen creek said it would be fine to give her other food. The website specifically states that they give medications (and charges an additional fee). The cat had to be picked up at 6:30pm which was too late to find a different boarding place. If the kennel can’t give medications they shouldn’t advertise that they do and definitely shouldn’t be charging a fee for it.
Love this kennel for daycare for our 1 yr. old pit bull mix. The staff are attentive and caring. Our puppy is excited every time she gets to go.
Nice, caring staff. I had to have my male GSD put to sleep, which was very hard for me to do. I had it done at home and the folks that came out were very thoughtful. The staff also sent me a sympathy card. Nice people.
