Dog Sitters in Woodruff

We have been struggling to find a great (even good!) pet sitter for years. I've usually felt good about most of them. Tara is a whole 'nother level of VERY VERY good! I don't worry at ALL about my pets while I'm gone. Of course most pet sitters are good with pets. Tara is as well, but what sets her apart is that I know she just is super responsible and has excellent judgement. So she is just very careful with my pets, and I know she'd recognize if there was a problem and call me or the vet. I can really relax on vacation. And of course the dogs LOVE her, which is bonus! She would keep us updated about them while we were away as well. Sometimes a funny story (my dogs are funny for sure!). So sweet! I loved seeing photos of my dogs chilling in the yard with her! I'm so thankful to have found her. She responds quickly to messages as well. Highly recommend (except the weekends that I'm trying to book her first HAHA!).

Tara was just amazing staying with my two foster dogs that i have. she sent pictures and they almost looked like they were smiling! She did great with giving them their medication and keeping them comfortable and anxiety free while we were on vacation. Definitely would recommend her to everyone to take care of their fur babies!

Thank You for sending the perfect amount of check-in pictures & video messages while I was away. It allowed me to detach and really be present on my trip, while knowing they were having a great time and well cared for. This provided me priceless peace of mind. It was also great because when I got home I was tired, and my dogs were too, they were not starving for attention. I would not be surprised if Cooper & Tucker start their own Go Fund Me to send me off again, just so they can have another staycation with Happy Hounds Staycation! Thanks again so much! We’ll be calling next time I travel!

Tara kept our pittie while we were on vacation. She sent us pictures and kept us updated. Very friendly. Our dog was very well taken care of. Highly recommend.

Tara and her son were so good to Tucker! He has never been in a kennel so it was wonderful to find a person to share their home with him and make him part of the family! Loved getting pictures and updates of him while we were gone. Tara goes out of her way to find out about each dog's habit and daily activities to make them feel like it's their normal routine. You can tell she truly cares about animals and isnt a better place to take your fur baby! 🐕♥️🐕♥️

Tara was wonderful with our dog Moose!. she cared for him as if he was her own dog and kept us updated while we were away!. it was such a relief knowing that he wasn't cooped up in a boarding kennel. her son also helps alot and my dog loved him so much!!. Tara knew exactly how to take care of moose the way I wanted him to be taken care of and they are such a genuinely sweet family!!

I recently used Happy Hounds for 2 over night for my 2 dogs while on vacation and they did an excellent job! Communication and professionalism was great. I will be using them again and highly recommend them.

When it comes to caring for a Cane Corso like Reagan, it takes a special kind of attention and understanding. Sammy's Pet Care has been a godsend for us. Sammy has gone above and beyond in providing care that's as majestic as our Reagan herself. From the spacious play areas that cater to Reagan's love for exercise to the personalized attention she gets, every aspect of the care is top-notch. It's clear that Sammy doesn't just look after the physical needs of the pets but also nurtures their emotional well-being. Reagan has always been a bit reserved, but Sammy's warm and gentle approach has really helped her come out of her shell. We're deeply appreciative of the loving environment at Sammy's Pet Care, and so is Reagan!

I was in KC for a day on Spring Break. I found Sammy through Google. It was last minute and he took very good care of my Prissy. He also kept me updated with text messages, pics, and videos. 10/10 recommend.

If you're looking for someone with a good soul to care for your companion, this guy is it. You know how you meet someone and can tell they're a good person? That's definitely how I felt meeting Sammy years ago. He will care for them like they are part of his own family, no doubt.

Sammy has watched our dog several times. He is attentive to detail, prompt, is great with communication, and truly cares about our Duke. Our dog has doggie demential and Sammy has been great taking care of him, as well as trying to think of ways to engage him. I highly recommend Sammy and we will continue to use him going forward.

Sammy's Pet Care has been a true lifesaver for me and my Shiba Inu. My Shiba has been difficult as he has been diagnosed with anxiety. Sammy has been very understanding and patient with him. He's additionally provided training tips to improve he's obedience training and it has done wonders, I am thankful for his services and recommend without hesitation!

Sammy is an excellent pet care provider. I have OCD and I am very particular about who can take my husky out of the house from the anxiety around that and her shimmying out of her harness if held a certain way. If you know huskies you know they're professional escape artists. I trust Sammy with her and he has always given her the best care.

Sammy's Pet Care is my go-to for pet sitting. Not only are their services incredibly affordable, but the quality of care is top-notch. We have a Giant Schnauzer, Maltese, Shih Tzu, and a senior American Bully. Regardless of the size, breed, and age Sammy is great! I have had my dogs sat here since 2020 on and off. I have had Rae keep the puppies overnight while working overnights and random days when needed. Usually I am very last minute and if I message her she is always able to fit us in. My animals love coming here and get excited ever time to see her and Chris. Chris is the only man my oldest dog will even let near her. I would recommend them one hundred times over. The yard the animals have to run around in is massive. Rae also does home visits daily and as needed which is absolutely helpful if your dogs are more comfortable in their own home. Updates with photos and videos are provided throughout the day which is great because you always get to see how your babies are doing.

Excellent care and loving home. Shelby Amabeth even returned with fresh bath. Shelby got to play with other guests & Rae the owner "Alpha" had two dogs that welcome my Shelby Amabeth into their home.

Rae is very down to earth, personable, and professional! She keeps the outside yard clean with professional dog poo removers. I recommend her services to anyone who needs them!

The best dog day care around. They have such friendly furry doggos! I was nervous during my first drop off that my dogs would not get along! I have since used them at least 5 more times. They send pictures and videos daily or every other day. If you as for something they will send you something.

Rae is very friendly and caring.

Pleasantly surprised. As being someone with trust issues I was very pleased with the care our furbaby received while we were away. The pictures and caption updates were very comforting. We picked up a happy and well loved boy! His happy demeanor and wagging tail was proof enough for us. The owners were very understanding when a travel issue arose and we can’t be more grateful for the care and the empathy shown to us. We will definitely choose them in the future if the need arises. Cannot say enough good things about this place. We are grateful, thank you! 🐾

This place is by far my favorite place! We recommend foe everyones due baby! Our German Shepherd and shih tzu loved it here, everything from daycare, grooming to boarding. They are phenomenal. Katherine and Gustavo are true gems!! The doggy shuttle was a god send for us. They have all kinds of fun events for the pups in daycare and make sure every need of your pup is taken care of of. We are going to miss this place more than we know. Hopefully someday our paths cross again. Thank you for taking care of our fur babies as if they were your own. Ada misses y’all so much already

We love Pupachinos! We've been taking our puppy for a few months now, and he loves his time at daycare! They treat him like family and regularly post pictures of him having fun playing with the other pups.

We have brought our dogs there twice for boarding. The dogs are well looked after! We especially enjoy getting the daily pictures of the dogs! Would definitely recommend!

After a horrible car accident, my very active border collie went and stayed for a few days so my family could get some affairs sorted with me, Montana had so much fun! We have booked some daycare dates for her to go play with new friends while I work on getting better so I can be the old mom she’s used to! Katherine and Gustavo are fantastic and truly wonderful caregivers! they make it so easy from start to finish- the website, the updates, personalized care etc. you can tell they really care for each animal. We just recently got delayed traveling and their drop off service last minute made it so our pups were waiting when we walked In our front door! They are flexible friendly and the facility is fantastic! Best daycare/boarding facility we’ve used In 7 years.

Had a great first experience boarding our dogs at Pupachinos! Love the online portal to make reservations and the updates that go into it while our dogs were there. They are super responsive and gave us updates on how our dogs were doing since it was their first time there! We will definitely book again for our dogs!

We have boarded our dog and used the doggy day care. He loves it! And we love getting to see pictures and updates of his time there.

I love this place for my doggos. They always do a good job on grooming my little guys and I have never used the doggy daycare but it always looks like the dogs are having a blast. You can tell the owners really love dogs and they are kind to them.

I have two dogs and Debs has been incredible from day 1. It's been 16 months working with Debs kennel and they have been extremely helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend Debs Kennels, she genuinely cares about animals and always places their well-being first. She will always make herself available even with last-minute requests. She offers many services including daycare, boarding, and grooming and we have never been disappointed by the care our animals received while with Deb and her team.

My German Shepard Dogs love going to doggie daycare three times a week at Debs. The outdoor experience is fantastic and they are socializing with other dogs. 😁 I highly recommend Debs for day play as well as boarding. …

If you are looking for a place to board, do daycare, or even train your dog, I highly recommend Deb’s. They have amazing customer service, the dogs are obedient, and the clients, other than my myself, are respectful. My mom found Deb’s on Facebook in summer of 2019 and wanted, as a family, to check it out. So, we did. We loved Deb’s and still do. I started volunteering and my mom and siblings worked there. And, both me and my mom have been here since. I truly love it there. Beautiful place and very welcoming.

We switched to Deb's last year after our regular kennel suddenly closed. I wish we would have found Deb's sooner, she's incredible with our dog Bo. We have no worries about our dog while we are gone, Deb provides excellent care at a fair price and Bo loves going there. Her knowledge of dogs and care she provides has us locked in as customers. Wouldn't consider anywhere else, highly recommended.

Army Officer with 4 large dogs...this is absolutely the best place to take your fur children in the greater Leavenworth area. Deb is amazing, she genuinely cares about animals and always places their well-being first. Her staff is fantastic and they always take great care of our herd. She is incredibly flexible and always finds a way to squeeze us in, even at the last minute. She offers many services to include daycare, boarding, and grooming and we have never been disappointed by the care our animals received while with Deb and her team.

I came across Debs kennel when my vet made a mistake with my boarding request when I was dealing with an emergency. I called around but avoided Debs Kennel because of a bad review I saw online. In desperation I decided to call and at least hear what she had to say and tour the place. Deb was completely transparent about the review explained and proved how the review came about. The tour was far more than I imagined. I felt guilty for ever boarding my babies at the vet when there was such a wonderful open play place right here in town Who new!!! I sure didn't. But the best part is that all my dogs (old and new) absolutely love it as much as I do. I think they love her more than they love me. If you look at a negative review and base your decision on that like i almost did, you will be missing out and denying your pup a great experience. Never again will i board at a clinicvet. past misapplied that one review

We have been going to this wonderful place for 15 years and 5 dogs. Deb has done a terrific job with many of our dogs, she’s helped us with disobedience training and trained us at the same time. When we were moving into a new house she helped take care of a dog till we got a fence built, they are wonderful to work with, and while I’m working she is watching and giving love to both my dogs. I would be lost if she wasn’t around to take care of them, both my dogs love it at Debs and are so eager to get in the car each morning for our short drive there. I highly recommend them for daycare, boarding, to find a great pet, or help you socialize the one you current have.

We have been taking our dogs to Deb’s for 20 years. She treats our Great Danes like they are apart of her family. They are always excited to stay at ‘the spa’! The facility’s always clean and smells good. Recently we took a trip and left our three dogs at the kennel. Our elderly Weimer had been ill but seemed to be stable. While we were gone, she declined very quickly. Deb kept a close eye on eye on her, even bringing her into the house. When it looked like our dog wasn’t going to make it, Deb took her to the vet and put her to sleep for us, staying with her the whole time. Deb kept in constant contact with us, to update, guide and give us support. It was so comforting to us knowing our dog had someone with her who cares. Deb goes above and beyond to care for all the pups, learning all their personality quirks. We won’t take our dogs anywhere else.

We got our very active puppy in January. Since that time we have been taking her to Deb’sKennels. We have received the best care and training for our puppy who is now a year old and knows many behavior signals. Our dog Abby is now a loving part of the family. We recommend this kennel they treat you and your pet like family.

If you are looking for a place to take your best friend for a day (or longer), Deb's Riverview Kennels is the place. Doggy daycare doesn't get any better than this. A dog-bone shaped swimming pool, friendly folks, and plenty of Doggy buddies for your best friend to play with. Highly recommended and 5 Paws UP...

I cannot be more happier with the service and the grooming they did on our 2 shih tzu’s! I wanted to sneak one of my dogs for a grooming appointment before our Christmas photos and I’m so HAPPY they were able to make it work! I highly recommend this place. This has been our go to place for our dogs ever since they opened. For sleepovers, vacations, and grooming - great staff, great pet love, excellant grooming; we have had 2 standard poodles, a chow and a lab/Pyrenees mix. Highly recommend, but book early as they are popular!

Amazing grooming experience with my Shepsky! After a negative grooming experience with a chain business, I groomed my dog myself for a while before realizing I was in over my head. These folks were amazing! They asked very thorough questions about my dog before the groom too. My dog looks and smells wonderful and I'm so happy!

We have taken our cats here for grooming for a few years now. Kathy and her crew are great, Alyssa gives Peaches the best cuts!

They were awesome with my Rottie who was afraid of their vociferous Chihuahuas. They comforted him and made him feel safe.

We got a long hair dog from animal control this place is helping us get her use to being groomed she is scared of stuff so they are working on her getting use to it great place would recommend

Tori did a great job cutting our yorkie poo but you cannot get a regular schedule at this establishment any longer, they set appointments then break them at the last minute and never contact you to reschedule as the text message says . My dog has went several weeks over on his last grooming to accommodate them just to have them cancel.

Kathy & her staff are amazing, we completely trust them with our fur babies! Every staff member that I have met has always been friendly and helpful.

We have used a lot of pet sitters through the years and this one was by the far the most disappointing one. The time spent on my dog’s visits one day were cut down to as low as 11 minutes (on one visit)! There is no excuse for that. I also received one text initiated by the sitter the entire time to update me on how my dogs were doing and received no pictures at all. This caused much more anxiety during our vacation than it needed to. I recommend looking elsewhere when finding a pet sitter!

Terribly disappointed...expected something MUCH better...

I was so nervous to leave my dog for a whole week for a family vacation, but Annette did such a fantastic job! My dog was clearly well cared for, and maybe even spoiled. I received occasional pictures of him throughout the week and updates offering reassurance that he was doing well. It is such a relief knowing I have a place I can take him where he is not only safe, but receiving the same level of care he gets at home.

Annette is the best! She is very reliable. She loves and spoils my pups. They get treats and loves and she sends me pictures and updates as well. She's been taking care of my 2 dogs for 3 years and I couldn't do it without her!

Annette takes great care of my two dogs. They get so excited when they see her. She sends me an email after every walk to let me know how they did. She’s even bailed me out a couple of times when I left town and she either took care of them at her place or came to my home to let them out. You can tell she really loves her dogs. She took the cutest picture of the two of mine and put it on a nice plaque that Stan’s on my fireplace mantle!

I have been using Pongo’s for years for my animal care. Annette has taken care of everything from chickens, horses, goats and cows to dogs, rabbits and cats. Very communicative and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

We were thrilled to find someone as wonderful as Candice to take care of our dog during our wedding prep and photos. She took the time to visit our home beforehand, ensuring our fur baby was comfortable with her before the big day. Our pup can be anxious at times, but Candice handled everything with such care and professionalism. We also enjoyed the pictures and videos she sent us throughout the day. Thank you for making our special day even better by helping us include our beloved pup—it meant the world to us!

I had taylor watch my dog for the weekend and she was awesome! I got lots of updates with pictures and felt totally comfortable with my dog being with her. The house was clean when I got back and I would definitely recommend Katie’s kennel and specifically Taylor to watch your pup!

Katie Kennel is fantastic. We needed someplace to leave our two pups over Thanksgiving but all of the place were booked. Katie Kennel came thru in our time of need. We had a lot of great things about them and they had a ton of good reviews. We were blown away by how thoughtful and friendly the staff were. We left our two with Claire. During the week we were gone we got photo and video three times a day. Our two had such a fun time together with all of the other pups that were there. Claire made sure that they played and got treats and were treated wonderfully. I don’t think I convey in this review how wonderful Claire was. We were hesitant leaving them with Katie Kennel, but after meeting Claire and here pup and all of the daily photos and video she would send I don’t think we would leave them with anyone else. Thank you for being amazing.

I only have the BEST things to say about Katie’s Kennel! We found KK when looking for options other than boarding but have also used them for play dates. SIT: Rachel immediately made our Dalton feel like one of her own. She takes the most amazing care of him, and provides me lots of updates including lots of park visits and pup cups. Gives me so much comfort being away, knowing he is having just as much fun as we are! We will never take him anywhere else! PLAY: Hannah has helped us w Dalton during the day too while I have work trips and we can always tell he has the best time! He goes to the park for an hour and gets lots of playtime and exercise, we always get the best recaps. She even gave us some walking tips! We are so lucky we found Katie’s kennel!

We’ve been using Katie’s Kennel for 6+ years and they always take such great care of our dogs! Dorothy has been especially fantastic with our senior dog - if you have/had a senior dog, you understand how much you worry about them when you’re away and there’s no doubt in our mind that she treats them SO well and takes care of them and their routines just like we would. There’s also something to be said about coming home to a house in the same (or better) condition than when you left. Can’t recommend Katie’s Kennel enough!

Katie’s Kennel has been amazing to work with! We did an in home sitter recently and Dorothy was AMAZING! She cared for our boys like they were her own and gave us lots of updates and photos so we felt reassured they were loved while we were away. Much better option than boarding for us! We also use Brenda for our regular walks and she is wonderful too! The updates are so detailed and personalized, I never have to worry when I’m at work knowing they are well cared for. Katie’s has the best of the best when it comes to taking care of your pets. Sarah Watters, Felicia, Halie, & Simone are my go to team and my boys LOVE them!!! They take the greatest care, show love and compassion, and make the best of friend with your pet. My Scotties go absolutely bonkers when one of the team members come by for their walk. Biscuit and I love Katie’s Kennel! It’s so nice knowing they love my pup as much as I do when I can’t be with him. Both the walk and play services have been a life saver when I’m at the office and can’t make it home. Katie and all the walkers do a great job communicating when they are coming, what is going on and how the visit went. Biscuit looks forward to Ms. Jo coming over for his post walk cuddles!

We have used Katie’s Kennel for about 2 years now and could not speak more highly about them! Brendan treats our dogs like his own and goes above and beyond to make sure they get plenty of energy out and loved on! Rosemary is the best!! I trust her with my 2 spoiled dogs who are getting older and need extra love and care. They come back more spoiled than ever. Rosemary even moves her furniture around to accommodate Cooper loving to be able to watch out the window. Charlie has seizures now and Rosemary takes such good care of him which definitely puts me at ease when I'm gone. She sends pictures and updates on how the day went every day. She's the best!!

Rosemary was amazing with our baby, Tucker! Because Tucker has the run of the house and is never kenneled, we wanted someone to be there a lot, to play with him, to love on him, and to sometimes just watch tv with him. Every picture and video Rosemary sent us during our vacation showed Tucker’s tail wagging and it was clear that he was completely relaxed and comfortable with her. We came home to a very happy dog and we truly appreciate the wonderful care he was given! THANK YOU, Rosemary, for giving us peace of mind during our vacation! We appreciate you!

Rosemary is a great pet caretaker. We used her services when we were out of country. She sent us pic of our cats every day and even brought my plants in off my deck when an unexpected freeze hit. I would definitely recommend her services.

Every time we go out of town and can’t take our Golden Retriever with us we call the Pet Nanny. Rosemary, the owner, takes care our furry family member as if she is her own! For a very reasonable fee she stays with our dog at our house which makes our dog feel at ease while we are away. Our dog loves all the extra attention Rosemary gives and when we return to our home it is exactly as we left it. In addition to taking our dog on walks, to the dog park and lots of play time in the backyard, Rosemary texts us lots of photos and videos of our pup throughout her stay. We love the Pet Nanny!

Rosemary is absolutely awesome. Her husband Dave assists her with animal care. Rose had to medicate my digs with antibiotics & Dave medicated our horse Sassy who has Cushings disease & needs meds daily. She took care of my flowers & fed the birds too! She sent pics & updated me daily on text. Really appreciated that. The house was left clean on our return. Recommend them highly & they’re worth their weight in gold!!

Rosemary and Dave are excellent with our pets. Two things stood out during this visit. First, we have a puppy who is just under six months old and a lot of work. Didn’t seem to be a burden for Rosemary and Dave. He got plenty of attention, exercise and even learned new commands! Second, our flight was canceled and we had to delay our return one day. Fortunately it was no issue and Rosemary was very accommodating with keeping them an extra night. We are very happy with the care our babies receive.

The sweetest person ever. She takes so good care of our little boy. Would 10/10 recommend her! Great communication, always on time, goes out of her way for our 6 month puppy. On Valentine’s Day she even brought him a chew toy (which he loves!). Rosemary is great!

Georgie loved her stay with Rosemary!! We were a bit nervous since Georgie was only 4 months old but we met Rosemary prior to boarding Georgie and we knew she would be the perfect fit for our pup! She followed our schedule that we have for her at home and continued with the training we were working on with her as well. When we picked up Georgie she was happy and tired out from all the play time and one on one attention she got during her stay. She actually has behaved much better since getting home and has been better about getting in her crate. We are so happy with Rosemary and she will be our go to pet sitter for our pups!
