Jerry and Michelle are so great! From viewing their profile and reviews, I knew our dogs would be in great hands while we were out of town. Communication was smooth and reliable throughout the whole process, from the initial zoom to when we made it back to our respective homes. During the house tour on the first day of the visit, we were very comfortable and got along great. We received photos of the pups each day, usually with funny captions and usually with the dogs under their blankets. The house was super tidy when we got back, and we appreciated the fresh sheets after our 9-hour drive home. We would not hesitate to have Jerry and Michelle come back again - hopefully with nicer weather next time!

Leslie was wonderful! I would highly recommend her. She did an excellent job taking care of our 4 horses, 3 dogs, and Earle Kitty. When we arrived home, they all looked happy and well kept. She texted updates and sent pictures every morning. The house, I couldn't even tell she had stayed. Leslie washed towels and bed sheets and remade her bed. She is a lovely person to be around.

Christy and Eric were absolutely amazing! They cared for our 2 dogs and cat exactly as we had hoped (and even did extra). They took them for walks and rides and administered oral medication to both dogs. Christy and Eric communicated throughout our 2 week vacation and gave us updates on the pets and the house. Christy and Eric were both very easy to talk to prior to the sit and they arrived on time as scheduled. They kept the house EXTREMELY clean and it seems as though we came home to a cleaner/tidier home than we left them. Christy and Eric were amazing pet sitters and we would definitely be more than happy to welcome them back into our home any time!

I was very happy with Sabrina and Niles as our cat sitters! They arrived a day early to make sure there's enough time for us to show them everything, and they made sure to note down everything for later. Also, a huge thank you because our regular cat food and litter delivery was due during their sit and while it usually arrives in one go, this time it came split into four or five individual deliveries with one ending up at our neighbours. Sabrina and Niles made sure that everything was there and also went to the neighbour to pick up the last piece, and in the end build a nice cardboard box space that the cats absolutely loved (one of the boxes is still alive and is being used every day). We received daily updates and pictures too which I'm always super grateful for as it's the highlight of my day when I'm away. I can absolutely recommend Sabrina and Niles and would not hesitate to invite them back. :-)

Rebecca is very sweet and incredibly considerate. We had a nice long zoom call before confirming the sit and she was easy to talk to. At the time I had two kitties and one was very ill. Rebecca asked thoughtful questions and had so much experience that my stress and anxiety were alleviated; I was grateful to have found her and felt completely comfortable entrusting my kitties and little piece of paradise to her. Unfortunately my Fizzy Fitzy's health deteriorated and he didn't make it. I let Rebecca know before the sit that it would be only one kitty and that he would be adjusting to the loss of his "brother" and companion and might need more care and attention. She was so kind and again, I felt like the universe had sent me the right person. Rebecca and I got a chance to meet as we overlapped by an hour or two on day one; I was so glad to be able to see her in person and give her a hug before I left. I returned after about 10 days to a calm kitty (which was amazing given that he'd just lost his lifelong companion) and an immaculate apartment. Rebecca even washed the sheets and made the bed which was so beyond helpful and appreciated after a tiring trip. Rebecca sent me a long message on the last day letting me know what had been done and showing a walk-through of the home (she's very thorough, which I love), so I knew what I was coming home to down to the fruit in the fridge. Seriously, the place was immaculate! I know you're journeying on Rebecca but I would love to have you sit anytime. Thank you!

This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard. Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him! Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!

Natalie and Christian were dream pet sitters while we were out of the country for 2.5 weeks. From start to finish, they were reliable and professional, with excellent communication. Once again, having AnnaMarie take care of our pups was absolutely the right choice!! Her frequent updates, care of our house and fur babies was stellar! Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. It was so sweet to watch our one-year-old lick her ear and Annamarie just giggled and happily tolerated it. What a great sport😎. We would highly recommend her to anyone and would also suggest if you happen to see a less than perfect review for her ( there is only 1)I know the true story... it's unfortunate that some people are so unappreciative of someone who will go out of their way to care for their home and Pets (at no charge🙃🙃)-- it just boggles my mind and am confident they are not being honest! Suffice it to say she is a gem and perfect sitter in every way- if you can get a chance to book with her- do not hesitate! Caitlyn, KJ, and their pup Sully were excellent house guests and pet sitters, and we would highly recommend them! I was able to meet Caitlyn and KJ prior to them house sitting for us, and we are always super appreciative when sitters are able to make that work and are willing to take time out of their schedule to come over and get the lay of the land. Their dog Sully was full of good boy energy and was a great playmate for our two Golden Retrievers. During the stay, Caitlyn & KJ sent us photos every day and followed all of our instructions for pet care to a T. They were super self-sufficient and gracious guests that left our place looking just like it did when we left, and we were very at peace knowing that our dogs were in great hands, getting lots of exercise, and romping around with new friend Sully. Don't hesitate to book this family of three, your house and your pets will be well-looked after!

Farhan is a fantastic house sitter! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, kind, and caring pet sitter for their home. We have three small dogs (around 6 lbs) and he took excellent care of them. They can be a little nervous/ timid around new people, and more so around men at times, but the dogs didn't show any of that nervousness around Farhan! He was gentle and respectful of their space and they warmed up to him immediately. I got a wonderful text the first morning that I was away that they cuddled up with him at night - showing how quickly they adjusted to him as their caretaker. I was able to meet Farhan in person before I left on my trip and I was able to have a wonderful conversation with an ambitious explorer. He is a delightful person. Upon my homecoming the house was very clean and the dogs were happy and relaxed. I can't ask for anything more! Thank you Farhan for taking such wonderful care of our three dogs and our home.

Amazing experience! Five stars all the way... Nikki was kind enough to watch our two cats Thomas and Toby while were away on our honeymoon. From the very beginning she made us feel comfortable with clear communication and quick replies. Since she was local in Atlanta we got to meet her ahead of time and hand off keys before we left. While we were away she sent pictures of our little buds having fun and being themselves, so we always knew they were ok. She always showed up exactly when she said she would from pickup to dropoff and it was so incredible to know they were in good hands, and we never had to worry. They love being around people so for her to have been able to stay with them and love on them regularly we came home and could immediately tell both Thomas and Toby felt great as they were completely comfortable. Much much different than when we leave even for a few days and have a pet sitter stop by and feed them. She asked all the necessary questions in advance, so she didn't have to email or ask anything while we were away. She even took the time to make sure everything was neat and tidy, prepped the sheets to be changed, and was unbelievably sweet to get us a wedding gift we both love. Nikki we can't thank you enough for taking care of our cats, and we would only be so lucky if you stuck around town! :)

Alcove Kennels is amazing. I am a stay at home dog mom, but wanted to send my dogs individually to see how well they interacted with others . The expertise of the staff, the feedback regarding my Yorkie-poo Ruby, and their obvious love of dogs was appreciated. She will be back to play soon! The facility was very clean and well kept. Melissa was fantastic! Booking with her was easy and super efficient. We were able to book with her without any difficulty. Once we dropped off our dogs, we went through their stay and how often they eat, as well as any other needs they may have. Melissa was so great with our dogs and made them enjoy their stay. She played with them multiple times a day and they got to see and interact with other dogs in a controlled and calm setting which was beyond perfect. We were nervous boarding them as we only had one prior experience doing it, but she sent us updates frequently and let us know how they were doing every step of the way. She is perfectly priced for everything she does ans offers, and has plenty of space for the dogs she takes on. I am so relieved and thankful we found her and now have a reliable person to bring our dogs to. She is the nicest, super accommodating and our dogs loved her!! I can’t recommend her services enough.
We used Alcove Kennels recently to board our dog during a trip. Melissa was great, sending videos and pictures throught his stay. My dog is diabetic and requires some special care and Melissa was up to the challenge!! The kennel is new and clean with nice dog runs and even a personal walk on the beautiful grounds. She was welcoming, flexible on pick up and drop off times and I highly recommend and will be using her again on future trips.
Highly recommend alcove kennels! Melissa is wonderful, extremely flexible and our pups love her. Duke and Daisy love their friends and doggy daycare, huge plus that their facility is very clean and well kept. Never have to worry about our fur babies when they’re boarding here, she gives all her boarding dogs so much love and attention. I will absolutely continue to use them in the future.
We boarded both of our dogs with Alcove Kennels. We had never boarded our pups before and Melissa made it easy, met with my husband beforehand, and kept us updated with pictures and texts throughout their stay. They also update their Facebook which allowed us to see our dogs without having to consistently text Melissa, and also allowed us to see them in play with other dogs, most importantly, it allowed us to see them happy- unprompted. Would recommend and will be back for our next vacation!
Couldn't be more thankful for Alcove Kennels & Melissa. We had a pet sitter cancel on us at the last minute. Luckily, Alcove had room. We have a dog with high separation anxiety, Melissa handled it professionally and also helped with a few at home suggestions. They have a beautiful setup that is extremely clean and well taken care of. We will be using them again in the future!

Our dog boarded at alcove kennels for 4 nights a few weeks ago. This was such a positive experience for us and our dog!
