The perfect combination - Pets and Travel
We are new to trusted sitters and boy did we get lucky to find Kim and Laine! They spoiled our cats so much! Even bought them a toy and send pics and updates regularly which was so sweet. I could tell they actually cared about our fur babies and with how on top of everything they were - and had such amazing communication - I never had a single concern. Then we got home and WOW! They cleaned the house top to bottom! We had cleaners come before we left for them of course - and Kim and Laine did a better job then my cleaners do! Lol Literally took care of every detail, the most amazing house sitters ever. And the most loving and attentive pet sitters as well. We could not be happier. Thank you Kim and Laine! We hope you can sit for us again in the future.

Deirdre stayed in our home for three weeks watching our cat. Deirdre is a clear communicator. We hopped on a call before confirming the sit and since that call we had confidence in her ability to watch our home for an extended period of time. During the stay we had a few unexpected house issues that needed attention. Deirdre was excellent at communicating the issue and coordinating with contractors as needed. Deirdre was also wonderful with our cat. Deirdre had questions about our cat's personality the first few days as she got to know him and I am glad she asked us. We received frequent pictures/videos and we came back to a stress free cat.

Tom provided a last minute sit when my 2 week long trip got extended to the 3rd. The previous zeewoi sitter was no longer available for the 3rd week, and Tom came in as a savior. As requested, he started his sit a day prior to the posted dates (thank you for being flexible). He met the prior zeewoi in person, since I was not in town, and got to know the house and cats quickly. He sent pictures of the cats each day and added a note about their well being. He was independent and was able to figure out how to use the litter genie on his own. I returned to a clean home and healthy happy cats. Would love to have Tom return and recommend him to anyone leaving their pets in his care.

Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.

We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. Ramona and Brandon were the perfect sitters! They rescued me and were very accommodating with my needs. Ramona's communication with me was A1. We spoke multiple times before she arrived and throughout the sit. She was good at keeping me updated and I was very grateful for that, being so far away. The pets gravitated toward them from the moment they arrived and you could see that all she and Brandon wanted to do was spoil the pets with lots of cuddles. My female pup was in heat and they handled that very well and were able to keep her and my male dog separated. I could only imagine how exhausting that may have been but they didn't complain one bit. Ramona and Brandon had to hand over the sit to another sitter and were kind enough to write out the details and everything they observed to make the transition a seamless one. I must say, it helped tremendously. I'd have them back in a heartbeat to sit for me as they showed that I could trust them, not only to take care of my pets but to respect my home they way they would their own. 5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. He exercised Tosha in the neighborhood and local parks, and obviously enjoyed her company. Our house was spotless and extremely neat when we got home, which is always welcoming after a long trip. Daisy Mae loves to stay here. The girls think she's sweet... I think she's ornery. Lol! Melissa does a great job with trimming Daisy's nails, she knows how to handle her. The kennel is always clean and well kept. Country Pet Hideaway is the only place Daisy has ever stayed at. Very professional staff.
The condos are great for long stays if you want to take a vacation and have a nice, safe place for your dog. I have two complicated English bull terriers and I’ve begun to feel very confident leaving them at the hideaway.
We always know our dogs are in great hands and we can go away on vacation with peace of mind knowing our babies are with such a kind and caring staff. The grooming is always amazing as well! Would recommend to anyone and we already tell all of our family and friends how much we and our dogs love it there ! It is also the most beautiful property. Its like the pups are at a hidden getaway-hence the name!
Mindy and Melissa have cared for my three dogs since we got them and the oldest is 19. Melissa is the most caring groomer and the best groomer in at least the state. She is so gentle with my old boy, who is now blind. One of my dogs passed two months ago and she cried with me. The dogs love her and get excited when they see her and know they will get the best grooming there is.
We have used them for boarding our dogs over the years. We love the condos for our dog when we go on vacation. She is always excited to go.

I have used Berks Pet Care to take care of my cat during multiple vacations. Every day they share pictures of my cat and report on how she is doing. They take the time to sit snd play with her for a while and the pictures show me how much she enjoys their visits. She especially loves her visits from Brandon.

I took my dogs here for 3 years. I was told that my Pitt barks too much at the other dogs and they fear for the other dogs safety and they would no longer take her. My Pitt lives with a Shepard with out issue. She plays with other dogs and is sweet to my toddler. I would assume my dog would be secured by herself during her stay. Outside of this the hours are odd and the price is high anyhow.
Just had our very first awesome experience with Goldner’s. They handled our two German Shorthair Pointers very well for an extended stay. Their pricing is very practical and they allow intact dogs - which made our vacation enjoyable and stress free! Be aware that they are a smaller facility so no automated confirmation emails or reminders - I did confirm a few times via email just to be sure before their stay (they always responded quickly) and everything was in order for drop off and pickup - no issues!
Owner has odd hours, she is rude and doesn't ask for papers regarding shots for all dogs she deals with, but allows them near eachother while they are waiting to be picked up. She doesn't document her appointments very well (she doesnt keep records of pups she has seen and how often they have been there) she always seems stressed and unpleasant and in a hurry. I wouldn't board a goldfish at this establishment.

Let me begin by saying I don't write many reviews; however, I want people to know that Goldner's Top Dog is TOPS! For many years I had an in-home pet sitter. Believe me when I say she was wonderful with all my animals. I adore her and would highly recommend her. After adopting a dog with a loving personality, we became aware that he did not play well with others. He was fine with other dogs, but was questionable with other people. Because of his unapproachable attitude, my pet sitter and I agreed it just wasn't going to work. A few months later I called Goldner's and explained my situation. They were very understanding and took special interest in working with me and my dog. We started slowly by leaving him overnight. During that time Goldner's got to know him and his personality, know what to expect, and what triggers his fear. As of today, he still gets scared and has days were he just doesn't want to be bothered by people, but I know he is in the best of hands. Goldner's is TOPS. They go out of their way to make sure your dog is happy and comfortable. Whether it's boarding or grooming, your dog will be loved and well taken care of.
Just picked our 2 pups up yesterday after a 7 day stay. This was the first time using Goldner's and when we would pick them up from the previous kennel that we used on several occasions, they both seemed very anxious. Even dropping them off at Goldner's, they were much calmer. When we picked them up they were happy and completely stress-free. Obviously well cared for and loved while we were away. Can't wait to try their grooming services too!
I have been taking my Yorkie to Linda for over 2.5 years now. My pup came from a puppy mill and was attacked by a bulldog when he was a baby. He’s anxious, an escape artist and not a social dog. I am afraid to leave him with just anyone (and I won’t). Linda, her family and team are angels. My dog literally bounces to the door with a smile on his face because he just cannot wait to go to “puppy camp.” They are kind and gentle, and I trust them without a doubt. I travel for work often and they’re accommodating on short notice, flexible with changes and Harry Houdini always comes home smelling like a dream and looking adorable. She’s a great groomer and operates a safe and clean kennel, but most importantly she’s a dog person. Harry only had one challenge here in probably over 60 stays by now... Linda called immediately about his tummy issue and took care of him with rice and chicken until he felt better. I’m moving next week, so I thought I would leave this review in hopes anyone else out there who’s an overprotective dog mom or dad will give this small business a chance. We will miss Linda but are grateful for all their hospitality over the years.

I took my Bichon to Goldner's Top Dog last week for a grooming appointment, and he looked great! You could tell the groomer really cared for my dog well because he seemed very happy when I picked him up. I also brought him there for a weekend boarding and everything went smoothly and he loved having his play time outside!

I was so nervous leaving my baby girl at a daycare facility. I didn’t know what to expect, but Millie went for her first week. (Mom & Thursday) and houndstown has been AMAZING. The staff are all so friendly and we’re so kind to my baby. The place is nice and clean and they clearly love the animals they care for. And Millie has come home both days ready to Sleep. I am so excited to continue to bring her and get to know more of the staff and the doggos! Thank you houndstown!
Hounds Town Reading is Remy's favorite place to be! He absolutely loves it there, and in fact, is very disappointed if he doesn't get to go to daycare! He comes home a very happy, fulfilled, tired puppy. We also took our tripod dobbie, Nemo (who has since crossed the rainbow bridge), there and they were so gracious in accommodating him and his special needs. Mitch and all the staff are fabulous and you can bet they will love your dog as much as you do. I have 100% confidence in leaving our beloved furbabies with Hounds Town!! So grateful!
A fantastic experience! Very clean facilities and super nice staff! It was both dog’s first time in daycare and they did great! It’s no joke about the “Houndstown Hangover” because they were exhausted from hours of play!! The staff treated our dogs like their own and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. I know our dogs can’t wait to go back! Plus they got great report cards!

The first time we went into HT my dog put on his brakes before going in. After his first doggy daycare experience he was pulling us into the building with excitement to play with his new friends. What a relief to know I don't need to worry about him.
This was our first experience with boarding and it was so wonderful. I could relax on my vacation knowing she was safe and happy!
Everyone I met has thr dog's best interest at heart. Having a dog evaluated before they agree for care is wonderful, and made me feel at ease taking my dog. The free daycare day is a great add on before boarding. The facility is clean, and smells great. The staff has been wonderful.
Hounds Town Reading has been such a blessing for our family! This was our first week long vacation without our boy, Alfie, and I felt such relief to leave him with amazing staff, comfortable accommodations, and all his doggie buds! The staff interacts with the dogs and takes many pictures and videos which put my mind at ease whenever I was thinking about him. I can tell how happy and well cared for he is every time I pick him up from here! Worth every penny to know our boy is not only safe but getting lots of exercise playing with other dogs. Daycare/ boarding here is the best way to get his puppy energy out, we love Hounds Town!
I’m extremely pleased with Hounds Town. They were patient with my dog and he is now going to visit for doggie daycare at least once a week. It’s an excellent opportunity for him to become more socialized to other dogs and people.
Had a very positive experience our first time visiting Hounds Town. I felt very comfortable leaving my “rescue” dog Bruno there. Loved getting a report card on his visit. I’m sure he’ll be very happy to come back this week and I’ll be happy too.

Tawnia stayed at our house for 5 days while we were away! She watched our dogs, bearded dragon, & goldfish. She kept me updated on my fur babies and took such great care of them. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a dog sitter. She is kind, caring and LOVES animals. She even left me a sweet note to let me know what occurred and what she did with the animals while we were gone. Honestly she allowed me to enjoy my vacation and not worry a bit about my animals because I knew they were getting lots of love! We love Tawnia!! Our dogs, especially our older one likes to stay at home. It's so nice to have her come into our home and be with our dogs!! She's amazing, and she even takes care of our chickens!! We wouldn't use anyone else but Sweet Nothings!! All of our animals love her!!

I have been overly impressed with the amount of professionalism and care Kim and Dave from Sleepy Paws have given to me and my golden doodle. This is the first time I’ve tried a home sitting service, but my dog has so much anxiety going to anyplace but his own home, I thought I’d give them a try. The communication they would send me every time they visited my dog to let me know he was doing well and being well cared for was top notch! They were so flexible and when I texted late at night to say my plane was delayed and I didn’t make my connection, Kim immediately responded telling me not to worry and they would take care of my dog until I got home. They always went above and beyond my expectations and my dog absolutely loved them! On top of all of this, I felt that their pricing was very good. I traveled a lot, so having a company and people that I could trust and take great care of my dog was very important to me. I would highly recommend Sleepy Paws. They are great people and a great company.
Sleepy Paws has taken care of our 2 kitties for the last two years whenever we go out of town. They always can fit us in their schedule, even for last minute trips, and in a couple situations when trips were extended/flights canceled, Sleepy Paws was able to come for the extra days needed. They always leave detailed notes about each visit, so we know one of our kitties loves to play with them while the other is more shy, but we also know both are in great hands while we are way. Great service, highly recommended!

Very clean, professional and secure. They have a nice, shady play yard with a good fence. We never have to worry about leaving our dogs there. We're so sad they are closed! It has ended our travel.

I have been using Cocalico Pet Companions for over 2 years now. My dog Chester gets to stay in his own home where he can relax and not stress out after attending a kennel. They will stay overnight with your Pet while your away. On a recent trip to Alaska, our Air Conditioning broke and the owners of this company took it upon themselves to hire a repair man when they could not reach us by phone. The repair was all completed by the time we came home. They will see that your pet is well taken care of. I highly recommend them.
We have been very happy customers of Cocalico Pet Companion for over 10 years. Wendi and her staff first provided in- home vacation care for our elderly Golden retriever and older cats who required medication. Later, she helped us make the transition to life with a very boisterous puppy. She was able to accommodate our work schedules with daytime visits and also provided excellent advice and training tips. We have continued to use the overnight vacation service which I highly recommend as we can enjoy ourselves knowing we will come home to very happy, well-rested and loved pets.

I cannot say enough great things about Cocalico Pet Companions. Wendi and Marianne are the best. Our dogs are rather high maintenance with one that needed medication around the clock. We never have to worry about their care while on vacation. Marianne puts the dogs first and will do whatever is needed to give them first class care. We have been using Cocalico Pet Companions for years. Wendi is so great with our cats. She comes by twice a day, gets the mail, plays with them and also feeds the koi. We know our fur babies are in good hands while we are away. We miss them but we don't worry about them!
Wendi does a great job making sure our three fur babies - an elderly kitty and two senior doggies - are well taken care of when we are out of town. Our dogs are much happier being at home than at a kennel when we are away and Wendi makes sure they are walked, fed, hydrated and comforted while we are gone. I highly recommend her services!
