My little girl totally loves this place. She's been going to Paw Tales for day care well over a year and can't wait to go each day. All I have to do is ask her is are you going to school today and she goes crazy. When she drags you in the door each morning you know she enjoys her stay and loves the wonderful people that works there. I appreciate this place and the staff for loving our Wild Child Lily.

I took my corgi in May to this resort. Based on pictures online and my general first impressions when entering the building to leave my fur baby for an extended weekend, I thought I was leaving him in good hands. That was not the case. I booked a luxury room with a camera so I could check on him through out my absence. I paid extra for doggie daycare or playtime and interaction. I brought all of his food prepackaged and separated by AM/PM. I left feeling good about leaving him. I got to my destination and checked on him and it appeared he was tucked away for the evening as I thought he would be. The next morning I checked again and through out that day and there was little to no change. He was in his “cell” and had not left. Panting and anxious. He did have food and water but I noticed through his stay, the food didn’t change. I know this because of the placement of a treat on top of his food. I can promise you, I looked in on him 40-50 times a day. Nothing changed. I never saw him out of his “cell” I never saw a change in his food, I never saw a person with him or any kind of sign that made me feel like he was being taken care of and loved. Was he safe? Yes, he was inside, in the AC and not in danger. That’s about all I can say from this resort is they kept him safe. When I checked on him the morning I was to pick him up, I finally noticed his food changed. Mind you, I picked him up 3days after I dropped him off. I told resort what I noticed and saw on the live footage, I also asked questions as to why? Why was he treated like this? Can anyone confirm differences in what I witnessed. They had no answers. No one could say the took him out and played with him. No one could say he ate or that they even tried. When I took my baby home and went through his bag or supplies- all of the food I packed was gone! Where did 6bags of food go?!! He did not eat it sooooo what happened to it?! Anyhow, this was a long review but I wanted to give the story of what I experienced. Don’t judge a book by the cover. This lace is super fancy but I wouldn’t take any kind of animal to the resort if it was my last option.

I could not have asked for a better experience. All these years searching for a good place for my dogs and I finally found the one. Save the time and money anywhere else and please bring your fur babies here!!!❤️

Everytime I go just to get my dogs nails trimmed they have changed the price from $10 to $12,$15,now $18.I always get her groomed which is $55 I can't get her groomed every month like I would like get paid monthly.Have always been pleased with them.Would recommend anyone to take their dog.

I have found someone that knows how to groom a large dog and actually listen to your requests. Brianna knows Golden Retrievers and gave my cream a perfect cut. She sat on the floor with us when I dropped him off to listen to my specific requests and not only followed them but suggested other grooming ideas. The area is not crowded like many others and they even allowed him to go play until they were ready for him. Unlike another big groomer in Hickory, he was not made to sit in a kennel all day. This groomer and Paw Tales are the the BEST. Thank you Brianna!

It is difficult to find anyone that will groom cats locally, and I have two Himalayans who's coats will get matted as they will deter brushing. I have used Paw Tales numerous times to get them groomed without sedation. I understand how difficult it is to groom a cat and for the cost it is well worth it. They do a marvelous job and in a timely matter. If you're a feline owner and need help with with a matted coat I highly recommend Paw Tales 😻

Paw Tales has a great staff and facility. We have boarded there twice and also visited doggy daycare where the staff have been working to socialize our dog. Everyone has been so professional, kind and knowledgeable from the time you walk in the door to when you pick your fur baby back up. We are so pleased with the care our pup has received that I’d give Paw Tales 10 stars if I could. Thanks so much.

My boys love going to get trimmed at Paw Tales Lodge & Spa! They are trimmed perfectly as directed every time.

There are many places that will board your dog for the day. Most of that time, they will be kept in a crate or other confined space. Well, not at Paw Tales. When you leave your dog at Paw Tales for the day, they get to engage in fun play with other dogs ALL DAY LONG. My dog, Sadie, loves this place. All I have to do is say the phrase “doggy day care” and she gets crazy excited. And she comes home worn out because she has been playing all day. Sadie loves being with other dogs, but she’s our only pet. So this is an awesome way to give her the social time she loves.

My dog Copper enjoys going to Club Canine. She has a great time at daycare playing with her fur friends and interacting with the staff. I also board her there. The staff members are friendly and helpful when making daycare/ boarding appts.They created a great birthday party for Copper & friends (pic below). Copper always comes home happy & tired.

My Beau loves Club Canine. The staff is caring, kind and very professional. I have peace of mind knowing that my boy is safe and getting lots of loving care while I am at work. He gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. His excitement tells me all I need to know!

Darla is always happy to come to Club Canine! She’s well taken care of the staff is absolutely wonderful and sweet with her. My feeling is as long as she is happy when she arrives it’s a good sign. Thank you for taking care of our little princess.

My Bodie's excitement when we arrive at Club Canine warms my heart, and when I pick him up he is so content and happy; this tells me 100% this is the "place" to be assured you are giving your best friend the best! Daycare, Grooming, celebrated his Birthday, he gets love and hugs and care and the only place I would ever consider to board him! So thankful for this professional care.

My boys Frankie and Oscar absolutely love going to daycare at Club Canine because they get to take a long car ride and see and play with their fur and human friends all day. The minute I finish getting ready in the morning and ask them if they're ready to go to daycare, they lose their minds. They start barking and running back and forth to the door and spinning around in circles. Then when I get them home from a long day of work we can just snuggle together because they've had their exercise and enrichment activities already for the day. Staff is super friendly and helpful and I never have to worry that they are being taken care of when I'm at work. Great job everyone. We love you all xoxoxo Tracey, Frankie and Oscar

Just picked up my boy Kobe and I have nothing but great things to say !! From drop off to pick up and all the calls I made in between were fantastic! Kobe is a very anxious and nervous dog but I feel like everyone there treated him so well!! Every time I called the person who answered was soooo friendly and polite and willing to help ease my mind to go and check on Kobe. Everyone was so attentive and seemed to really care ! Great staff all around ! Highly recommend club canine for any boarding needs . Kobe will definitely be back

I have a 70 pound doodle named Mallie and she loves Club Canine. She goes to daycare 3-4 days a week. The team members are very loving and do a great job taking care of her. She’s made a lot of doggie friends. She comes home after daycare and is worn out from playing all day. They also have a wonderful grooming crew! I highly recommend Club Canine.

Hanz has been coming to Club Canine since he was 4 months of age. He so enjoys ALL his buddies in "the big dog group". Taylor does an excellent job grooming our dobie. When I say play, he knows exactly where he's going. The loves each there and they seem to love him as well. I so appreciate your love and care for his well being. There is absolutely no other place I would board Him. He ALWAYS comes home happy and loved. He does have a different diet than most dogs, but there has never been a problem overseeing him. Cooper had a great first day in November with club canine no issue. Fast forward to July, cooper got neutered and i sent him to daycare about 2 weeks later. I get a call from club canine approx 30 minutes after drop off saying i need to come pick cooper up because he will not come out of the cage/kennel. On this call the young lady never said that cooper tried to bite anyone but that he was not letting anyone touch him and he would not come out of cage. This is the first time i have ever heard of this behavior from cooper. But mind you, they never said he tried to bite anyone, he just would growl and would not leave the cage. So i book cooper an appointment for today, i just got an email stating cooper cannot come back because he bit someone. Now if cooper had bit someone i would have been notified of this in July. Cooper is a 25 pound french bulldog…he does not even have the capability to ATTACK anyone as i was just told by the lady answering phones at club canine. I would have taken it much better they were honest because the reason was simply behind race. I know with the club canine being in granite you may not see many African Americans bringing a french bulldog to your facility. But what a way to discriminate and make up a false narrative!!! I’ll be finding cooper a new daycare to attend that knows how to handle a nervous 2 year old french bulldog. I will not he back at this overly dramatic and racist facility! If you cannot handle small/medium sized dogs then why do you offer services to them? UPDATE: And in response to club canine comment…Cooper was not aggressive. He was nervous and scared. He never came out of his cage to even be aggressive. He is 25 pounds and barely has teeth. He had a great first visit with Club Canine in November 2023. So I'm not sure what was done differently to cause him to be nervous and scared. These accusations are false and he is not aggressive. If he was aggressive, why wasn't he aggressive at his first visit? And if he bit someone as i was told he did after the fact, why wasnt i told of this when i picked him up? Why wasnt i told this on any of the 2 phone calls that club canine made to me? But he has found a new day care that understood he may be nervous and scared but they worked with him to help him get acclimated with the new facility! He has been doing great thus far at his new daycare! They say things happen for a reason so thanks club canine for turning Cooper away or else he would've never found his new daycare!

Genise and Carson were both amazing! From the home visit to communication while we were traveling. The detailed updates with photos were heartwarming. You can tell they really care for your pets while you’re away!

Genise and her crew are wonderful. We just moved to this area and she came recommended from my former pet sitter’s company. We’re very happy with them and our three dogs are as well.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Genise and Amy! They are absolutely phenomenal! They took care of our fur babies while we were out of town a few weeks ago and not only did they give them tender love and care but sent me amazing pictures at each visit! The love they have for animals is evident! Their website website allows you to put in instructions to the tee and they follow them and I love that you can edit it anytime! Their pricing is very fair and for all that they do and for my fur babies to stay in the comfort of their own home is a 100% win-win! 👍 I highly recommend their service and plan to use them again soon!

We were extremely happy with the care our three beagles received while we were away on vacation for 10 days. I loved that after each visit they sent photos and a summary. I was REALLY nervous leaving our fur babies with a new service after having the same pet sitter for many years, but after seeing how well things went after the first couple of days, I was able to really relax knowing that my trio was in good hands and well cared for. I would recommend Genise and her team to anyone.

We have used Bark & Purr Pet Sitting multiple times and have been very pleased with their services. Our fur babies love Genise and we enjoy the pictures she sends us during her visits. She has always been on time and goes above and beyond while she is here. We definitely recommend.

Genise is absolutely perfect for the job. She cared for my one cat and was thorough in every way you would expect and need. Friendly and genuinely interested in providing loving care for your pet, you can leave your home knowing your fur babies will be cared for as if they were her own.

They too great and loving care of our cat. It's very hard to find a place that truly provides the special care cats do. All God's Creatures Great & Small did not let us down. They stayed in touch with us every day with texts and pictures and I could see from the photos that Avery felt more and more comfortable there. I wouldn't hesitate to board her there again.

All God’s Creatures staff did a lovely job serving all 3 of my animals at once. When we booked for 1pm, we were told pickup could be as late as 5pm but they were done early and ready a little after 3pm! I informed staff we were fighting a flea battle and all three pets were given Capstar and flea shampoo and came home smelling like flowers! You can feel a massive difference in the health of their coats and the attention to detail that my furbabies received. Not to mention, they also did a great job trimming all of their nails without cutting into the quick/without going too far. The fleas were so bad on our dog that they informed me they washed him twice with no additional cost. A little added touch of love happened when staff called to tell me the animals were ready for pick up. She said, “your *babies* are clean and ready for pick up!” 10/10 loved the care and service my fur-children received! We will be back! Thank you very much to Tereasa and each staff member that helped rid them of these fleas!!! ❤️🙏🏼

We boarded our Boone last week. The check in and pick up process was so easy. They greeted Boone with smiles and loving on him he went right to them. When we went and picked him up he greeted us but went right back to the staff. Almost like he didn’t want to leave. Which made me feel good cause I know he was well taken care of. I highly recommend All God’s Creatures Great and Small.

They are amazing! They were the only place that could help us trim our guinea pigs nails! I should have thought of them first! The young lady that helped was so patient and sweet!! 10/10

Our dogs, Penny and Ziggy, have a wonderful time staying at All Gods Creatures!! We feel very blessed to have a place where the staff care for and love on our girls just like they are at home, while we are out of town. We have absolutely no worries about Penny and Ziggy while we are on vacation!! It’s a wonderful place and I would recommend them to anyone!! 😊😊

I don't how to express how great this place. We are so happy we found them to watch our ferrets. The prices are reasonable & staff super friendly. They text you pictures of fur babies. Highly recommended them. They truly a god sent.

I absolutely love these ladies! We adopted a dog, we set an appointment for him to be groomed. I was telling Debra how bad his nails are. She let us bring him immediately to clip his nails. His appointment was 2 weeks out! Absolutely recommend this business!

We take our little Shauzer there for grooming and daycare....they are so good with her.....

Cato and I both approve and are highly appreciative of the great attitude and care given to him here. They do a very fine job at a very reasonable price. They handle my 110 lb "Great White" with no problem.

They were amazing with our elderly lab Gator. I called as a new client and was able to get an appointment the very next day! They were very kind and we will definitely be switching all of our fur babies to All Gods Creatures!

Our previous kennel closed, so this was our first time using Hideaway. We were so impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the facility, and the way the people there seem to really love animals. They checked in with us several times to let us know how our girl was doing. They sent her home withe some new toys and got a great picture of her. You can just tell how happy she was. I work from home and it's hard for me to be away from my girl, but I take comfort in knowing she's well cared for when I'm gone.

Lynn is amazing. She takes care of her bunnies in a way that keeps them happy and healthy. Their coats are so soft and the bunnies are the most docile. We have 3 little boys and they pick their bunnies up constantly and play with them. The bunnies just allow it! They don't mind at all. Amazing lady with amazing bunnies!

I boarded my dogs with Hideaway Kennels for a few years and only stopped because I moved away. I felt compelled to share my experience here because my most recent experiences with this staff have been above and beyond wonderful. Both of my dogs liked Hideaway, but I always felt like they were in great hands because this staff knew my pups as soon as they walked through the door. We were always greeted with a smile and treated as familiar friends. Upon moving, I found out that my older dog had cancer, and I shared this news with the staff. They showed tremendous care and empathy and sent us off to our new home with a few complimentary treats. When this same dog eventually passed, I shared the news with this team and was beside myself when they sent us a care package--even knowing that we don't live in the area and can't use them for boarding anymore. That is exemplary care and service, in my opinion. I hope you will support Hideaway Kennels--I promise they will show your fur babies love, attention and care. These are the kind of people you want looking after your pets.

Absolutely the finest souls and the finest facility! Our dogs are loved, safe, happy and healthy .... all while surrounded in nature and lovely private runs! We adore Hideaway, but most of all, we are thankful for the wonderful people there there who love our animals as their own. I could not submit a more glowing review! They are simply the best.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. After boarding our dog here and went to pick her up she was making a coughing sound as they brought her to us and we thought it was just from her pulling on the leash and choking herself. However, on the ride home she was still doing it and lasted throughout the night and progressively got worse. Called the vet the next morning so she could be seen to find out what was going on with her. We were informed she had kennel cough. I was told to inform the boarding company and let them know as well. When I called I spoke to a staff member and she sounded shocked to hear it and that they hadn’t had any complaints from other owners. They would start making preparations for this since it’s highly contagious. She told me she’d let the manager know and have her call me back. “Melissa” the manager called me a told me pretty much the same thing as the other staff member said, that they had no other complaints. And due to the numerous variations of the virus theres nothing they can do. It’s an airborne virus, so basically it’s covid for dogs. So on top of the $300 boarding bill I’ve got a $225 vet bill now as well because of their negligence. For the time she was there she had to of got it from them. Oh, was also informed that she didn’t cough not one time while she was there. So I guess she must of picked it up in the parking lot on the way to the car. The manager also told me it’s like sending your kids to school or daycare. Those are the chances you take. Well on that note, I will not ever bring my dog back there again.

We have been taking our dog there for about a year now. Staff is very nice and he seems to like it there.

We have had our dog at Hideaway several times over eight years and this has been the worst experience ever! We always have requested a suite w/o any issues. This time, we viewed the suite with the TV off and the door that opens to allow your pet to go outside, very difficult for the worker to open. We were ensured (by very unfriendly staff) that the TV would be working and the door will be open all day, and clean bedding will be provided. Nine days later, we picked up our dog, paid $40 a night, went home, checked the bag we had packed with enough greenies, snacks and our dog's favorite blanket only to find that none of the snacks were touched and the favorite blanket was damp and smelled of urine. I immediately called with the question of why did this happen??? I said I was very concerned and disappointed. Meagan said she would check with the person responsible for our dog's care and call me back. I never received a call back. Very sad lesson learned : (

Almost scared to make a post about how great this place is, because I don’t want it to fill up and not be available for us! 🤣 Took our Goldendoodle pups here for a few nights so we could go out of town and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. The owner and the staff were all extremely friendly, the dogs were SAFE, and the location was beautiful. The peace of mind I had knowing they were well taken care of was invaluable. If you are looking for a location to board your pets, this place is top notch!

We love using the Howl-A-DAY Inn. Our dog gets so excited when we mention going to see Betty. We've always had great experiences. And the price is well worth it.

First time boarding our dogs here. It was a great experience. Easy drop off and pick up. Dogs were well taken care of and had a large indoor outdoor run. Will definitely use again!

Absolutely love this place. The Owner Betty and the staff are amazing with our girl Stella. As soon as we hit the driveway she gets excited. If you are looking for a great place to leave your pet. I would highly recommend Howl-A-Day Inn Resort.

Howl-A-Day is our go-to for boarding Cotton. Rates are reasonable. The staff are caring. Most importantly, Cotton enjoys his visits.

We took our dog Riley to Howl A Day Inn for the first time since we got him and Betty and her family took such great care of him! We've come back to them again since because of the care and services they provide at such an affordable cost! We plan on using them as much as possible in the future!

Betty, her family, and staff at the Howl-A- Day Inn Pet Resort is the ONLY kennel where I have boarded my now 12 1/2 year old Blood Hound / German Shepherd Dog. Maggie May has always gone in willingly and departs with a wagging tail and face licks for everyone who cares for her. The level of care and attention paid to the guests of the Howl-Day-Inn is top notch! After nearly a decade, I wouldn't trust my girl in the care of anyone else. We’ll be back time after time!

Howl-A-Day will be out go-to pet boarding from now on. From the the moment you approach the property, it feels like a getaway vacation spot and it's hard to believe it's all for animals! The owners were so sweet in showing us around and answering all of our questions, and it's clear they do it for the love of the dogs. This has been by far the nicest place we have ever boarded our dog, and he seemed so happy to be there. Thank you guys for everything!

We have used Kanupp several times and love them. Our dogs always come home exhausted from all the playtime they get! Our aussie is very particular about people but he loves going and does very well with them. We always get the best pictures and updates (these are some they've sent us). We will definitely continue to use them in the future!

Big mistake boarding our dog here for three days this past weekend. We were told when we made the reservation, that the dog would have bedding (elevated cot and blanket), as noted on the website…no bed provided. We were also informed that we could bring two toys for our dog. When we arrived, we were informed that the toys were not allowed under state law. Better staff training and communication would be helpful. Our dog spent three days without having her familiar toys and ended up sleeping on a cold concrete floor in her enclosure. The interior layout looks more like a detention facility than a boarding facility. We were also told that photos would be provided of our dog. We only received two pics after we called and asked for them. Needless to say, our dog was happy to be paroled.

Please do not take your dog to this place. I dropped off a happy, energetic goldendoodle. When I picked him up yesterday he was not acting himself and had a slight limp. I thought he was probably just tired. Today he is still wasn’t acting himself. After further investigation he has what appears to be a puncture wound/bite on his leg. He will be going to the vet tomorrow. I will never take my sweet dog there again and highly discourage my friends as well. Update: after a $210 vet bill, confirmed 1/2 inch puncture wound from a dog bite. I have updated the kennel and was told “we have notified our management” but no one from “management” has reached out. Please beware that “playtime” must be a free for all and your dog can get a significant injury and the people that are suppose to be supervising will be unaware and probably just tell you “he played hard and probably pulled a muscle” when you question what happened.

I drive all the way from Charlotte to board my dogs here! Marty and his team work very hard to make your dog feel safe and comfortable. I have two older German Short Haired Pointers that need a lot of attention and love and they get it from Marty and his team. If you want a place your dog can have fun and be taken care of then give Knuapp Kennels a try. This is a small business who prides themselves on customer service and focuses on your dog. They have training, grooming, boarding and more! I promise you supporting this small business will make you and your dog 🐶 happy!!!! This place is awesome! They took great care of my aging dog while I was on vacation. They even texted photos to me 4 times! It was nice seeing my dog and seeing them loving her. Highly recommend!

I'm super protective when it comes to my pups even more so with our newest rescue pup Hudson, this 4 week, 3lb puppy entered our lives and stole our hearts during the lowest time of our lives as we were in the beginning stages of grief from the loss of our child, Hudson had his own tragic story as his Mom and siblings were struck by a car, he is the only survivor. To say I'm super protective is an understatement, I won't trust just anyone with his care. As Hudson grew his energy levels tripled, being part Husky and Aussie he desperately needed an outlet for all that energy. I stopped by Kanupp Kennels one afternoon, after meeting and speaking with the staff I decided to enroll Hudson in doggy daycare and I honestly couldn't be more pleased, they took the time to make Hudson and myself comfortable, these can be frightening experiences to any pup and pet parents but the caring and fantastic staff eased all our fears! My boy has a great time in daycare and has made quite a few friends! I can't thank Kanupp Kennels enough, Hudson has gone from a shy, skittish puppy to a dog with confidence!

Great groomers (Fonzie has gotten several compliments on his cut/styling). My Aussiedoodle loves them and having fun at daycare. The staff is professional and friendly. He is looking forward to more daycare times.

I was so nervous about boarding my dog for the first time. The owner suggested I bring her in for doggy day care for a few weeks leading up to boarding. My dog reactive pup LOVES group play at Kanupp Kennels so much that they have to wrangle her to get her to come home. They sent us pictures and kept us updated while she boarded. The staff are all extremely professional and caring.

We used overnight pet sitting services from Hickory Pet Sitter for a 2 and a half week vacation recently. This team does a terrific job. Not only were our 2 dogs well cared for, but Heather & Kelly also completed a lot of "extras" like watering plants, checking mail, etc. They were also very responsive when we checked in periodically during our vacation. We will definitely call on them again, and I highly recommend them to anyone in the area who needs a pet sitter.

We recently had Hickory Pet Sitters come and sit our 2 cats for a week. They did an awesome job. They paid attention to details, did as they said they would on visits and sent pictures so we could see our fur babies while in our trip. Glad to know we can rely on them for future needs. We’re so glad we found a Hickory Pet Sitter! Both Heather and Kelly are excellent, very professional and great with our dogs. They will be our go-to every time we go away or are out for the day! I highly recommend them to anyone! Great experience!

Kelly and her daughter are both fantastic. They took wonderful care of my cat for several days. He was well fed and the litter box was clean on my return. They were also nice enough to text me pictures of them playing with him while I was away.

I felt totally at ease knowing Kelly and Heather were taking care of our pups while we were out of town. They sent pictures and videos everyday. We loved it and would 10/10 recommend them to anyone!

Kelly and Heather are fantastic! The took great care of Olive, sent updates and photos, and I never had to worry while I was gone. I would definitely have them care for Olive again and I highly recommend them!

We have used Creature Comforts twice, and both of our dogs were very happy and healthy when we picked them up. Before the first visit for the dog/dogs they allowed us to make a visit to check out the place. Very clean, great space and they are always happy to answer any questions asked as well as pleasant to talk to.

This was the first time we've had to leave our fur baby Toby behind when we took a trip and Creature Comforts was wonderful not only to him, but to us as well. I highly recommend Creature Comforts.

They are the best hyper pet lodging in the Hickory area, nice folks, play zones, and small dog lounge.

Anita was wonderful with our dogs - one has a lot of anxiety and can be a jumping handful. She’s very patient with him. We knew the dogs were so well taken care of while we were gone . We will definitely have her return when needed!

Anita took great care of both our cat and dog. Our dog enjoyed the personal attention she received so much that when we got home, she had a limp tail (normally a curly tail), which we found out later was called "happy tail". Apparently it's caused by exuberant tail wagging! I highly recommend her personal care!

Anita, John, and now Isaiah are the absolute best providers of pet care. They have taken care of our dogs for a very long time, and I/we have always been extremely satisfied. Anita genuinely cares about the animals AND the people, which is a combination that improves the care, in my opinion. Anita has kept us informed if anything went awry, and also has sent the occasional photo or quip about something that has happened. I recommend WITHOUT RESERVATION Mountain View Pet Care.
