Our older doggie was calm, healthy, and seemed very well-cared for during our 10 day trip. We received several text updates with photos that allowed us to feel confident that our animals and home were in good hands. The house was clean, the laundry done, and all the bedding and towels changed. They left our car at the airport for us after our flight was delayed 7 hours and it was easy to find with their description. All in all we're very satisfied.

Irene was very responsive with clear communication leading up to the sit even though she was traveling overseas. She made the effort to come over and do a tour of our house and met me and our three dogs before the sit. She was warm and friendly, and I immediately felt comfortable with her. While we were away she even moved both of our cars that we had inadvertently parked on the wrong side of the street for street cleaning, saving us two parking tickets! We came home to happy dogs and a spotless house. Irene had even washed our sheets and left us a sweet little cacti as a gift. We highly recomend Irene and would have her back anytime!

Walker stayed at our house for three months . We couldn’t say enough good things about him. He loved the dogs like his own and very obviously bonded with them. He did some training with them at his own initiative whic we very much appreciated. He was kind friendly and reliable. Our neighbors said he was great to have around! He took excellent care of our yard and desert plants and did a few fix ups in the house which were great. We will absolutely invite him back! We recommend Walker absolutely!

Michelle did a great job with my complicated sit! She took my malamute to the dog beach and on creek walks, and she safely shepherded my 12 chickens to the coop from the backyard each evening! My malamute loved her immediately (even more than he loves most people), and everyone was safe and sound when I got home. The house was very clean as well. I knocked a star off for organization, only because she did not let me know ahead of time that she had a very early flight on her last day and would not be here past 6 am. This was also on me, though, as I should have verified her departure time before I left. Once we realized it was an issue, we were able to work out a solution that I think worked fine for both of us. I just bring it up as a reminder to work these things out ahead of time. In general, Michelle was very accommodating, friendly, and trustworthy, and I would be happy to have her here again if she ever returns to the Bay Area!

Shardai looked after my two dogs for a month and gained their trust. She gave them their medicine as required and they looked fit, healthy and happy on my return. She also made sure the garden and indoor plants were watered, and dealt well with an emergency. Shardai will quietly get on with what she is asked to do, and I would recommend her as a pet-sitter.

Kate was awesome. It was really nice to meet her and she took great care of our Riley and our home during Christmas. She was responsible and responsive and we could tell immediately when we met her that she gets dogs (and animals in general). We showed her some of the ways we are training Riley and she got that. She took him for walks and she was nice, even when Riley got car sick in her rental car one day. We will definitely keep in touch with Kate and we very much recommend her.

Miranda and Sunny were the perfect fit for our sit. They are responsible, kind, and down to earth. We had a great video chat before the scheduled house sit. During the sit they were communicative and asked questions when needed. They thought of things we didn’t think to instruct and I’m thankful for that. When we returned, enjoyed a freshly cleaned home. Miranda and Sunny were sure to leave it a better condition, if not better, than when they arrived. Our cats were well cared for while we were gone and we’re grateful for this experience.

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!! Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies. She will be a great sitter for others and is looking to travel across and see more of the US while remote working. We have adopted her into our family and she is welcome in our home anytime. 5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation.
