Sahar and Puya are the absolute best! Look no further! This is who you want to care for your furry friend and your home. I have used this platform many many times, and I have never felt my pup was more loved and cared for than when she was in their care. We were gone for a week, which can be worrisome to leave your pup that long. Let me tell you - I did not worry, not once. They sent frequent updates and photos and took my Luna to many of her favorite places. They also took such wonderful care of our home - it was cleaner once we returned home than when we left it. Incredible communication, organization, care, and cleanliness. A 10/10 sit. We would have them back any time. Sahar and Puya, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so good to my girl!

Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.

We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. I have been using Best Friends for many years. I used them with my sweet dog Lucy and now with my new dog Hazel. At Best Friends they are friendly, patient and accommodating. I know when I bring Hazel there for an extended period of time she is in good hands. I can see her play on the dog camera, and I watch her socialize with the other dogs. When I pick her up, I know she had fun, and she is extremely exhausted from all the excitement and activities. One day, I plan on taking her to the doggy day care so she can have fun when I am at work. Oh, and one last thing they also have grooming so when I pick her up, she is soft and clean.
Very caring staff. They take good care of the Peace4Paws dogs. They are very helpful to our volunteers as well. They have helped facilitate adoptions. They care about the rescue dogs and the client dogs very much!
We have been taking our dog Daisy to Best Friends in Chestnut Ridge for about 3 yrs for both day care and boarding since she was a puppy. John and all of the staff there are so caring and show her so much love. I know that she is very well cared for when she is there because she gets very excited when we drop her off and comes home very happy and content. The grooming services are great too. Daisy always comes home smelling fresh and clean. The staff is also very accommodating and helpful. I'm thankful we have a place that we trust to care for Daisy!
Anytime we go away, we know our baby LOLA is in great hands at Best Friends! She has a blast during playtime and I love that I can watch her on the cameras. The "extras" that they provide, plus the grooming, makes her stay a happy and sociable one. I HIGHLY recommend Best Friends!!!
I have been taking my dog Leo to Best Friends Pet Hotel for the past year. All experiences have been great. The staff truly loves dogs, easily evidenced by Leo being so excited every time we walk inside. Victoria and John are always there to greet us and are both very helpful. Within the past year, I have also used their grooming services, and Jackie always does a great job.
Thank you BFPH & Jackie!! I adopted my Davis Bowie through BFPH & Peace 4 Paws. Now I send him for baths by Jackie & doggy day camp too! He gets SO excited when he walks in but particularly when he sees Jackie & Victoria too! I love that all the staff truly care and make you feel they love your pup just as much as you do! I always feel better knowing the BF team are taking care of my lil guy! I highly recommend the day camp & Jackie’s baths. Both are affordable rates & I always make sure to tip for the bathing AND the staff .. you can do both separately which I think is great!

I have been using Best Friends for both boarding and grooming for at least 15 years (2 different dogs) I have always been very pleased and felt that they treated my “children “ as if they were their very own. I would highly recommend them.
When I picked up Luna from her 2 night stay she was clean and didn't seem to want to leave lol. I am happy I found this place because I feel like I can actually trust that she'll be okay while we're away.
Best Friends is the only boarding facility I found in the area that has real fenced-in grassy areas and takes the dogs out each morning and afternoon for potty breaks. The other boarding facilities advertise "all day play" to hide the fact that the dogs there never seen sunlight or fresh grass. I trust Best Friends with my pup and will continue to use Best Friends in the future!

I was extremely wary and the cost of a professional dog trainer, but when I saw I really needed one, trails for tails was recommended. We met twice and I already see a marked change in my dog's behavior. If you're looking for a trainer who can deliver at a decent price, look here!
I had an amazing experience with Trails for tails! Shragi watched my dog for 2 weeks while my family and I went on vacation! My husky had the best time there! I always get nervous leaving her in someone else’s care but by trails for tails It was her home away from home!
Shragi boarded my dog for five nights and was amazing. He was super responsive, professional and kind, experienced in managing dogs and their temperaments, and sent photos / videos and updates on a regular basis. I could see my dog was in good hands. I would definitely leave Otis with him again !
Absolutely great! Shargi took care of my dog Emmi for 10days while I was waiting for her paperwork to fly to Europe. I am always nervous to leave her with someone, but she was taken care of in the best way possible. Great trainer, my dog is now crate trained!! I was updated with often pictures and videos, and not for one second did I worry that Emmi was not in good hands. Just amazing, 5 starts any day for Trails for Tails!
Shragi took great care of my two dogs for three nights, especially with one of our rescues that is highly skittish around people. He was sensitive and thoughtful in how he approached her. I loved the updates that he sent while we were away, and he did door-to-door pick-up and drop off for our pups where we live in Westchester. He also did some training with our other dog, who has retained that training since we got him back. I recommend Shragi and his business and appreciated his flexibility when we had to extend our stay.
