What a joy and an honor it was to have Phyllis and Jerry care for my home and my pets. I could write an epistle to describe in detail how much they did and how well they accomplished each responsibility. Our correspondence began many months ahead of my posted dates. Throughout this time, we stayed connected, and as we got closer, we shared more details about my home and care for the pets. Response time was prompt, friendly and courteous. They were incredibly flexible and understanding when I had to adjust my flight time and date. They arrived early on my departure day so we could have time for orientation, lunch, and conversation. Phyllis and Jerry were meticulous in following the instructions I left for cat and home care. They were dedicated to assuring me that things at home were going well by sending pictures of the cats included with special vignettes. They were respectful of my home and took great care of everything as if it were their own. For example, when the hose unexpectedly burst in the back yard on a hot day, they carried water in a bucket to my young Arbor Vitae trees. They are the kind of people who go the “extra mile” based on their high values and elevated work ethics. When I returned home, everything was glistening and spotless. The carpets had been vacuumed, the laundry completed, the dishwasher and waste baskets emptied, the stove shined, and the kitty litter was scooped and cleaned. My fur babies were happy and relaxed, an indication that they had excellent care while I was away. A delightful surprise was the colorful Autumn gift basket and note they left on the counter. I highly recommend Phyllis and Jerry in every way. They exceeded my expectations and fulfilled every task. They are friendly, enthusiastic, and fun to be around, and both have had a wide variety of experiences that translate into good common sense and wise decisions. It was truly my privilege to have the opportunity to meet them and to benefit from all they had to offer me, my home, and my cats.

Full Time Cat Lovers
Hodan and Sami continue to be great guests in our home and caretakers of our cats! We’ve had them stay before and they continue to be a pleasure. Our cats were well taken care of and Sami does a fantastic job at keeping us updated. He even checked in to make sure that the food machines were full and double checked to make sure that the right food was used to refill them. They were also flexible with our schedule as our flight was cancelled and we had to arrive the next day. To make sure our cats were well taken care of, they stayed longer to keep the cats company. We’d recommend Hodan and Sami to anyone who wants to ensure a great stay!

Amanda was absolutely fantastic with our dog Beaux, our turtle, and our home. From the very beginning, she asked thoughtful and detailed questions to ensure she could provide the best care possible. Throughout her time with Beaux, she went above and beyond—scheduling play dates and even taking him to the dog beach to make sure he was happy and well-exercised. Amanda also kept us constantly updated with photos and videos, which made it clear how much Beaux was enjoying himself and feeling loved. When we returned home, our house was spotless, and she had even taken the time to water our plants! We couldn’t have asked for a more attentive, responsible, and caring sitter. Justine’s great. Kept me updated with photos of my very strange cat. She’s not very sociable but Justine knew how to deal with her, basically feed her then let her do her own thing! I would gladly employ Justine as my cleaner😂 Our house was cleaner than when I left it.

Kelly was a wonderful pet sitter and house sitter! Our dog Cooper adored her. She sent us pictures several times a day and he was always snuggling with her. She kept in touch with us regularly. We have never left our baby before and we were anxious about it but we ended up feeling totally comfortable with Cooper in Kelly’s care. She also kept our potted plants alive during a heat wave and took great care of the house. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Lori’s reviews are all five star and I can fully attest as to why. Lori was so friendly and kind and I could tell from the moment she met Lizzie that she would take great care of her. I received daily pictures of her and Lizzie snuggling and I couldn’t have been happier knowing my girl was receiving a lot of love. Lori left our home in wonderful shape (probably better than I left it for her). She took great care and was very conscientious of all my plants. We even came home after a very long day of travel to some wonderful chicken soup. Lori will take wonderful care of your home and your precious pet. Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!! Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies. Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.

Milly was a lovely house sitter and I’d highly recommend her. She submitted a really great application and after a FaceTime chat it was an easy decision to choose her for our sit. She is the youngest sitter we’ve chosen but she has a maturity beyond her years and it was clear she had so much experience with animals that we felt confident leaving her in charge of our menagerie. Olive our young Pom has never been left with a sitter before so we were a little worried about how she would be but Milly was so patient, gentle and kind that she quickly won Olive over. So much so, on the morning Milly was leaving ,Olive would only let Milly put her harness on her before going for a walk. All the animals were perfectly cared for while we were away and we returned home to happy pets and a tidy house. Milly’s communication from our first contact and right through the sit was great and she even sent a lovely video of the dogs having fun on their walk. I’d have Milly back to housesit for us again anytime.
