Melissa was wonderful in making room for our dogs at the very last minute when every other place was full. She is super sweet and quick to respond. After only meeting her once we felt extremely comfortable leaving the dogs for the week. She sent us pics and kept us updated. Our babies were so happy when we got them back due to her great care! Thank you so much again Melissa! We will definitely be bringing them again 🐾

I was extremely happy with Samsons stay at Castaway Pet Resort. I was sent pictures daily and was quickly responded to when I messaged about how he was doing. I will definitely be booking again.

Melissa and James are the best people to take care of your fur babies while you're away! They have pups of their own that are very loved and cared for, and when your pups come to stay with them they are treated like their own. Our babies were loved, fed the food we provided, and given any special attention needed according to their personalities. They also sent updates and pictures frequently. I would highly recommend using Castaway Pet Resort as they made separation from my pups easier.

Best pet resort/daycare ever!! The owner was extremely communicative and thoroughly explained the process. I never left my pups at a daycare before and I was so nervous to leave them for 4 nights. After speaking with Melissa, I had confidence that my babies would be ok. Her facility was top notch equipped with heat and cooling for my precious pups. They had their own private fenced in yard, and they even had a fire hydrant to use! The owner monitors the pups and even had cameras to ensure extra security. Bowser, Nubs, and Winnie loved it. And 2 of them are extremely anxious, they did great! Thank you for such a great experience! I no longer stress while planning vacations, I can relax knowing my babies have a safe and fun environment. If I could leave 10 stars I would. This place is amazing! The owner is awesome. She puts a personal touch and makes your pet a priority. I got pictures of my Nikki Nicole playing outside, updates everyday on how she was doing and the price was so reasonable. When I picked her up they give you a picture of your baby playing. I recommend Castaway Pet Resort as a must . This plays is great 💯👍. Thank you

Our 1yo french bulldog Charlie had a great 4 night stay. The owner kept in good communication to ease our worries about our pet while we were away. Our dog has a lot of skin and stomach sensitivity and the owner was equipped to provide the necessary care needed for his special needs. You can really tell the owner loves the animals and is great with them. The facility itself has spacious kennels and the area is climate controlled. Our Charlie will be staying again in the future.

Melissa is so kind and wonderful with our Doberman. We know he is safe and very well taken care of. Thankful she was able to accommodate our short notice arrangements. Their facility is clean and well kept. We also appreciate photo updates and safety measures (cameras on the kennels and play areas). Rates are also very reasonable. We are becoming a regular costumer ❤️ Highly recommend!

Melissa from Castaway Pet Resort recently took care of my Rottweiler. I had some emergency travel that occurred during the 4th of July weekend and I called 82 kennels within a 3 hour radius of Durham. Melissa texted me back to let me know she was booked up but might possibly be able to make room for my boy. A few hours later she reached out to let me know that she was able to make room for him. I'm one of those dog owners that is very particular and nervous about leaving their animal in someone else's care. Melissa was understanding and patient with me. She texted me daily to let me know how he was doing and sent me great photos of him romping around in the backyard. My boy is dog aggressive and on some medications; this wasn't an issue for Melissa and she was very careful with him. Their facility has nice quality and large kennels. Their A/C system kept the facility at a cool temperature in spite of the high temps we have been seeing lately. I 100% recommend Castaway for high quality and attentive care for your fur baby. It's an hour drive for me, but in the future when I have longer trips I'll definitely make the time to take my boy down to Castaway. I know that he will get more attention and have a quieter, relaxing experience.

I was 8 hours away in NJ for holiday vacation. My dog Mason was boarded for less than 24 hours when I received a call they LOST MY DOG. The owner Julio said he climbed over the fence and proceeded to twist blame on me. Which is absolutely ridiculous being I trusted this establishment with my dog. My dog Mason allegedly went missing at 7am and instead of immediately calling me I did not receive a call until about 9am. They said they were “starting the search protocol” and will update. I waited by the phone and heard nothing. After reaching out to many helpful people at 1:30pm a kind hearted woman found my dog and called me to alert me. At this point I started the 8 hour drive back to NC. When I called back the “boarding facility” to alert them, I was told the owner would call me back. This is the part that’s even more unprofessional than losing my dog who was in their custody. After a conversation with the owner, he never even apologized. He asked me why I wouldn’t say my dog could climb a fence (I never sat down and tested to see if my dog could climb fences) and than I asked if they had cameras. He said no and than said I am not required to have cameras. He than told me I can pick up my dogs stuff in the morning and not this evening. There was zero remorse for his major error. Long story short, the owner is unprofessional, rude, and shouldn’t be trusted to watch any humans pets. I will proceed to go through a battle to ensure this situation is corrected. Thankfully after 8 hours and a 500 mile drive my dog is safe and back home.

Firstly, Julio is a VERY knowledgeable and understanding dog person. He understands breeds, their needs, and how to handle them. The woman who is sometimes up front (I’m so sorry, I wish I could remember names better), is incredibly nice and wonderful to talk to. Every single person that has come to get / give me back my pup has been nice and patient as well, not pushing him too much and not rushing and invading his space/face. My boy always seems content when he leaves and doesn’t seem to mind going with them much, and considering he’s a brand new foster that’s pretty great! I’ve also walked to the back where he’s kept and everything is very neat, tidy, and well kept. They clearly have an efficient system running and it has helped me IMMENSELY. It’s also very well priced for what it is. He could easily charge more and it would be justifiable given the facility, but he keeps his prices fair. Thank you guys! You’re awesome!

I highly recommend Mutt Motel's boarding service! I have a reactive and very suspicious Australian Cattle Dog who had never been boarded before stay here for two weeks. I asked questions and Julio was very reassuring, telling me they had the facility and experience to care for dogs just like my Rio. Only thing that caught me off-guard was I didn't know until drop-off that they do not take personal items like bowls, toys, blankets and that they provide all of that. I had packed up some things for my pup and ended up taking them back home with me after seeing the sign posted in the office. So, don't pack up a lot of personal doggy things to leave. If this was specified elsewhere online, I must have missed it! Not a problem, just more of an FYI. Two weeks later, I was so glad to pick up my dog and see her well taken care of and happy to see me. I haven't experienced any bahavioral changes in these several days after having her back with me. I had a wonderful experience with the Mutt Motel team and will not hesitate to bring Rio back if the need arises. HUGE thank yous to Julio and the Mutt Motel team!

We put our 5 large fur babies in here for 8 days! They were so great and affordable! Very accommodating kennel! My babies came home happy, clean, and healthy! We will be using them again in the future for sure! Couldn't be happier we found them! Thank you Mutt Motel!

My Cane Corso absolutely loves Mutt Motel! The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, making sure that my pup feels right at home. I received my Buddy back the same way I left him. Appears to be pretty cool place. Was there 5 days. Unique and secure set up. Will take him again as needed. Pay attention to business hours. I can understand the reason without explanation. Nothing negative from my experience. Thanks!

Jack came home extra itchy and resistant to go play in the yard, did not bark for the first 12 hours, which is out of character. ( he's a Cairn Terrier who loves to run and bark). He was eager to get in the car and seemed to be stressed out when we picked him up. little too, no communication, we are not happy and will not be using again.

The mutt motel uts staff and owners are all so sweet and awesome they came highly recommended last year and we tried them out. Mutt Motel is an absolutely amazing place for my pup!! Due to some unforeseen circumstances, my schedule has been up in the air. Despite this, they have been so patient, kind, understanding, and super flexible! My pup Sulli can be a handful….a big ball of excitement and they handle him so well. And reserving dates is so easy and straightforward. I definitely recommend boarding your pups at Mutt Motel!!!!

I currently use Mutt Motel for boarding my dog, and have had great customer service every time. I really appreciate they have some weekend hours for pick-up/drop-off, this makes planning so much easier, as well as my dog isn't sitting and waiting extra days because some places are closed on the weekends. The last place I was boarding stopped suddenly without much notice, which left me trying to find a new place for my "Mal". The first place I called in spring lake, was "too full" and didn't seem to care. Mutt Motel was the next place, I made reservations online, and received a confirmation email soon after. I called and spoke with Julio the owner to verify my reservation's and just make sure there wasn't any other vet info they would need before showing up to drop off my dog. Every time has been a great experience easy drop off/ pick up, my boy is always happy and looks great when I pick him up. Julio and Staff, thank you for taking such good care of my boy!

Great price and never had any issues with both of our girls. And to the post below about the bowls....I believe we have them, we are boarding our dogs this week and we're planning on returning them. They just made a simply mistake,no big deal. Merry Christmas.

I picked my dogs up this morning and they’ve got two really nice Yeti bowls - one white and one black. This place stole them and then insisted that I’d never dropped them off. I’m furious - they didn’t even look, they just blamed me. I’ll change my review when you give me my belongings back. I’ve been a customer since I joined the army in 2010 and came to Bragg. I don’t know who is running this place now, but the lackadaisical attitude is a real downturn.

This is me after another day at the spa Urban Dog. Where the staff gives me the royalty treatment. My daddy takes me every 2 weeks. My new designer scarf just adds to my collection, my stylist Kim is amazing.. a definite must go. -Chewy

Update: We used to take our dog here for boarding and grooming and they were great. However, we boarded our dogs for a trip this summer and had a poor experience. They were given specific instruction to feed our dogs separately because one is food aggressive, and they called us first day saying they got into a fight because they were fed together and they recommended they be fed separately, even though we told them initially. Thankfully our dogs were ok but it could have ended badly. They also called us once they ran out of food even though we asked them to let us know prior to it running completely out so we could have a family member take them more. Of course, by the time they called we had no choice but to pay extra for their food and our dogs had to eat a food they weren’t used to. We also paid them to give our dogs a bath and when we went to pick them up they both had their nails trimmed and they were brushed but only one had a bath. They said they were afraid to give the one dog a bath, not sure how they weren’t afraid to trim his nails but couldn’t give him a bath. Not to mention if you’re afraid of dogs why are you working in a facility with all different kinds of dogs? On top of everything they tried to charge us for more nights than they stayed. Thankfully we double checked before swiping the card. They just seem to have gone downhill or need to get a bit more organized. Either way, I would not trust my dogs here again.

Love the friendliness and convenience of Urban Dog! I was in a pinch with boarding my dogs for a weekend out of town. The staff was very professional and patient with same day boarding and host of services that I know my Border Jacks enjoyed. I will definitely recommend and will definitely visit again in the future!

Many pet sitters and boarding facilities CLAIM to love and care for your dogs like you would. Very seldom do you actually see it for yourself. My dog barely wants to go home at the end of the day. The employees know how to pair dogs together according to their personalities vs their sizes. They take pics and always make suggestions for boarding based on your budget. Convenient to Fort Bragg and is my go-to place when i need to leave my little guy somewhere for vacation or during the day when i have a unit-level exercise that drains my energy. I bring my dog home so tired that he snores loudly like an old man. I love Urban Dog and recommend them to everyone i know bc they really are top-notch. Dont believe me?? Well look at the pic of my smiling--yes smiling--dog that they sent me. I know he is in great hands.

Urban dog posts plenty of pics of our dog playing outside with other pups and he comes back smelling great when we request the grooming service. We've taken him places where he comes back home a little sad, but every time we've dropped him off here, he's super happy.

We love Urban Dog! This is the only dog boarding service we use in Fayetteville. My 12lb Shih Tzu loves playing here, and the staff takes great care of him. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. At check-in, you have the option of buying treats for your pet during their stay, and I always get a little something for him to make his stay even more exciting! I wish they were able to send picture updates during his stay, but I'm hoping that they build that service in soon!

Found LifeTime Pets to board my 3 dogs and 2 cats while I was in the process of moving to Europe. The price was great for me for the extended time of 3 months. They were always available by phone, sent pictures, and even made the time to Skype me so that I could see them. Everyone was super friendly, and the owner went above and beyond to help get my animals ready for transport, from vet visits to putting together crates. My dogs always looked happy and were given the attention they needed. I'm extremely happy that I chose LifeTime Pets!

I stay in Fayetteville often with family and anytime I need to board my 3 big dogs and my 1 handicapped dog (2 legs) I bring them here. They are the most invested boarding house I've had in a really long time. I get pictures anytime, I call often (I'm that dog mom), they're so transparent, organized, and genuinely love the animals. Drop off and pick up is a breeze, even on the weekends they make it work. I just couldn't say enough nice things!

We have used this place seriously like 20 times to board our dogs and we love them. The guy who works here is super great with dogs and you can tell he takes good care of them when they’re there.

Our dog LOVES going here. The staff spends most of their time engaging with the animals and getting them in a routine which is super helpful. We have only boarded and used their grooming services, but I’m now considering taking our girl here once or twice a week for daycare. Great find!

When I was living in Fayettevile, I had to do a long term boarding because of the situation I had going on at the time. Krystal and her staff treated my cat Jessica like she was one of their own. Great price and all the staff are great.

This place is AMAZING! I was a little nervous leaving my leo in someone else’s care while I visited family for Thanksgiving. It’s hard even finding someone to board a more “exotic” animal, let alone one that knows what they’re doing. But Krystal and the staff at Lifetime helped ease my anxieties and took excellent care of him. Krystal even sent me a couple of photos during my trip so I knew he was safe and cared for while I was away. I will definitely be coming back whenever I need someone to watch him!

We started bringing our boys here when we returned to Fayetteville this past year and we have had nothing but a pleasant experience. Our boys used to be stressed and worked up when they got home from being away, but they come home happy and relaxed when they leave LifeTime pets! They’ve been wonderful for our family the past year and a half and we can’t recommend them more.

Keightlyn the groomer is absolutely amazing . I got my little Leo from the animal shelter, and he really needed a makeover . When I seen him , I almost cried . Keightlyn is the absolute best groomer I’ve ever encountered. My dog bounced around to several groomers that tried to crate him despite my requests not to, but that is absolutely not a problem with Keightlyn! She is so kind and considerate! All my dogs go here now and I will continue to bring them here. The prices are very reasonable too! I cannot praise her enough and you will not regret your choice in coming here for your pet grooming needs. 🐾

Don't even bother, booked them two weeks in advance.. got 2 out of 3 dogs fixed as well as all up to date shots (influenza too! 🤣) just to get told our dogs weren't up to date because they needed the boosters as well. Actually got a call the day before CONFIRMING our reservation! Mind you we were leaving the next day at 5am out of state for 7 days.. either way we called a handful of other kennels and we actually got told they had made up some lie to people because they overbooked. Smelled so bad too! Just don't even try with them. We found a way better area, cheaper, and nicer owner. DOGS BEST FRIEND in Southern Pines!

I love this place! Lucy has been going to daycare for a little bit now and she loves it. But they went above and beyond last weekend when we boarded her. A cold front came in and I when I looked at the pictures they post daily to FB, low and behold there is my baby in a sweater that they had put on her! I guess they have sweaters there for the dogs! Just amazing. They really cared about her comfort. And when I went to pick her up, they had washed the blanket I left with her! I HIGHLY recommend Dog Days Inn if you love your fur babies!!

I would not leave my dogs anywhere else. Deborah really cares and understands that pets are family members and she treats them as such and always keeps you informed of what is happening each day by pictures and videos. You can enjoy vacationing without your pets when you know they are in good hands.

Highly recommend! I don’t trust anyone with my fur baby due to previous experience, but this place is awesome! We got pictures of our baby everyday and she was happy & smiling in every picture. Such sweet people and will definitely be booking again in the future during our travels.

Amazing place! We used No Place Like Home for the first time for 8 days over Christmas. They took wonderful care of my 2 dogs. It's apparent from the moment you walk in that they are animal people. They explained there process and showed me the kennel they would stay on (very spacious) as well as the fenced in yard for them to run around in. Deb stayed in constant communication, providing pictures, videos, and updates. Both dogs were exhausted when I picked them up in the morning so they got plenty of exercise. They are very professional and do everything by the book. We will be back for sure!

Marissa did an amazing job taking care of our puppy for the weekend! We were nervous leaving her with someone we didn’t know but as soon as I spoke with her on the phone I knew our baby was in good hands. I don’t know if I can put into words how grateful I am to Marissa and her crew. We have never hired a pet sitter before and had never left our fur babies this long, but the minute we connected I knew our babies would be in great hands. The daily pictures put my mind at ease and I just knew that we found the perfect pet sitter. Absolutely love Marissa and Ciara! Jax is very spoiled and typically only eats when I’m home, but these ladies make him feel so comfortable that isn’t an issue. They provide daily updates and pictures so you know when your dog is being a total goof or if they’re feeling a bit ill. Extremely happy we discovered these extremely kind and compassionate ladies and definitely giant spoiled dog approved.

Marissa just took care of our fur baby Xen. He's really hyper and loves to play but instead of her getting annoyed, she connected right with him and helped him adjust to our absence by playing with him. Now he has a new buddy. We appreciate you guys so much.

Husband in another country and I’m a travel nurse, can’t just leave the care of my husband’s fur babies to anyone. Outstanding care, professionalism and knowledgeable about animals. Initial interview was awesome and provided the care instructed and went above and beyond. Also protector of my home, didn’t know my husband was my husband but questioned his existence and business at my home. 🤣🤣 To go above and beyond like that, I’ll look nowhere else. Extremely dependable also. I can’t say enough good things or I’ll never stop talking. But if the best is what you’re used to then Marissa is the only one you want! I’m completely satisfied and so is my husband!!!!!

My wife found PetTastics while we were scrambling to find a new boarding kennel for our 3 dogs after our usual go-to was full. Peter immediately won our confidence and the adoration of our 3 dogs and 2 cats. Now Peter is our go-to for everything from day trips to week-long vacations. He is always very quick to confirm our requested schedule and goes above and beyond making sure all the animals are taken care of and stimulated while we’re away. My wife especially loves that he sends lots of pictures of their activities and walks. Since finding Peter and PetTastics we haven’t used a boarding kennel at all and the animals are much happier being able to stay at home and play with their new friend. I can’t recommend PetTastics enough!

I learned about PetTastics through a dear friend. It was our very first time using a pet sitter outside of us using family, I was a bit nervous. I met with Pete and Brady prior to our departure and by the time our meeting was complete, I knew I had made the right choice! While away I was updated each visit and was sent multiple pictures of our pup. We extended our trip and Pete was able to accommodate an extra day of pet sitting! Peter deserves a 20 out of 5 stars rating! I'm in the Army and was frantically looking for a dog-sitter as I was gone for 50 days. What I like about this service is my dog can comfortably stay at home. Additionally, my dog does better when it's the same person around him. Although, the boarding places around here are nice, the one thing I was worried about is how my dog would conform to the change of environment. My dog is typically nervous around new settings and comes off aggressive (at the end of the day he loves everyone), therefore I was unsure how he would react to the workers at the boarding centers. Fortunately, I found Peter's service online. Called him, and he came to see the dog beforehand. My dog immediately took well to him, so I knew it would turn out well. However, because my dog stays in his kennel when home alone, he typically gets nervous if anyone other than myself walks through the door. The first day Peter started, my dog did the typical barking in his kennel as he was not used to seeing Peter open the door. However, Peter is VERY WELL with animals. He's almost like a dog whisperer! My dog was taken care of and I was glad that everything went extremely well! I highly recommend his service. Peter has a passion for taking care of animals. He knows how to read animals body language and figure out what they want! Another cool thing he does is take/sends pictures of the animals. I can definitely say my dog was happy, and will give trust Peter anytime!

Peter took excellent care of our furry children for a very reasonable price. His professionalism and dedication to the job and our animals allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying. We had constant updates for every visit and photos. I highly recommend this business for your pet sitting needs. I know we will continue to use them in the future.

I went out of town for the weekend and had recently gotten a NEW puppy just weeks before my trip! I was panicked because I didn’t want to bring her while she was so young and not yet completely house broken. So I called around to some of my pet loving friends and they told me about the services PetTastics provide!!! BEST DECISION EVER to have them care for my Bailey, they took pictures of her during the visits, sometimes videos, gave me updates, fed, and gave water to my baby while I was gone. I felt completely secure and had no worries while I was on my trip. Also, it was always a little “treat” for me every time I got to see her while I was away from her thanks to the updates! Enjoyed doggie day care and a weekend stay there when we first rescued our puppy out of the blue and had a trip already planned. They have a schedule for the dogs, play time swimming etc. You can pay extra for the cameras and see your pet at all times. They are there 7 days a week with them which a lot of places don’t have.

I trust them with my pups! They let them go swimming and I got to watch when I dropped them off. I received my dogs freshly bathed and nails trimmed. Don’t get me wrong I can’t look at the camera coverage while on vacation bc it is depressing. This time I don’t purchase camera access bc the trust is built and I didn’t want to see them waiting at the kennel door. They were happy to come home! I do use Riverbark on Ramsey. New veterinarian named Elizabeth is awesome and took time to really explain allergies and skin disorders.

New groomer Dec 20, 2023 failed to let me know she has never groomed a Chow and she shaved my girl even when I showed her a photo of how the last groomer took care of her for 4 years. Really do not want to ever shave a Chow. Shaving can change the texture of the fur when it grows back in, and it can also cause your dog to overheat more easily in warmer climates. Chow Chows have thick double coats that help regulate their body temperature.

*Awful; will not return* I am not one to post negative reviews, but this was enough to warrant writing this review. We recently moved here and have 2 neutered male goldendoodles. Riverbark (RB) was recommended by our neighbors. I called the pet resort yesterday to find out more about daycare. The receptionist informed me of the prices ($20/dog/day for your first full-day; $25 after that), schedule (the dogs are let out in rotation after the boarding dogs) and practices (group playtime is included for social dogs; a list of vaccinations required). I told her I wanted to get some of their energy out, because I had a long day ahead. She said no problem to group playtime. I also asked if water would be provided throughout the day; she said yes. She informed me that she would call our vet clinic to get our vaccination records and that RB requires the canine influenza vaccine in addition to the kennel cough vaccine. While not standard practice, I viewed it as being cautious. She said that the vet techs there can administer the vaccine upon arrival (again calling into question efficacy--it usually takes about 2 weeks for vaccines to take effect-- but alas). She said she would double check with our vet just to make sure they didn't have it and call me back. She did not call me back. This morning, I showed up and she recognized me. She said that she meant to call me back and let me know RB was prepared to give the boys their vaccine. I agreed. I asked if I should wait around for the vaccine to be administered. I was told no, so I left. After a long day, I arrived right around 5:45 P.M. for pickup. New staff was there. I asked the receptionist how it went; she said great and checked me out. $84 in total for the day. That is a lot, to me. But I was prepared to pay that for a place that I entrusted with my babies. The kennel assistant came out with my dogs, and I noticed they were HYPER. This did not seem like the behavior of dogs that have played with others during the day and gotten their energy out--the exact reason why I brought them to RB. I asked her, "How did they do in group playtime?" She responded that they did not get group playtime. I asked why. She said that she came in at 1 P.M. and didn't know if they were social with other dogs. However, on my invoice that I had just received at checkout, it states that they each received "Day care, initial evaluation" for $20. So I was confused. But again, I tried to give RB the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to a mistake. However, when I was leaving, I noticed blood on one of my dogs' right hip. I immediately brought this to the attention of the staff. At first, the kennel attendant said, "Oh, no, we thought he came in like that." After informing her that no, my dog did not come in with about 4 inches of noticeable blood on his back hip area, she then said, "Oh! I know! It must've been from the vaccine. Sometimes they administer it and dogs bleed, or sometimes the dogs are irritated by the vaccine and bite at it." I asked why he wasn't supervised after the vaccine administration. I trusted RB to do it properly while I was not present. The kennel attendant said that maybe it wasn't the vaccine, and that they couldn't be quite sure how he got it but that nothing else made sense because he was isolated. Upon arriving home, both dogs drank almost an entire bowl of water. I also gave my injured dog a bath. The bath removed the blood and showed that he had a nickel-sized area of skin that had been punctured, along with a scratch right next to it. Additionally, I discovered about a 3 inch long scratch on his front right "elbow", if you will, that was also irritated and bleeding. (See pictures). I gave my other dog a bath to check him. Now, it not only has been a long day, but I am now bathing both dogs unexpectedly. I paid $84 for negligent vaccine administration, a lack of water, an eval that did nothing, dogs let out twice and isolated from group playtime. I will not be back. I urge Riverbark to reevaluate their communication practices and vaccination procedures.

My dogs went here for the first time, and they seemed happy the minute they walked in! They seemed happy when they came home and exhausted! They board here for the first time in a few days, and I hope they have just as much fun!

The pet retreat is just not the same anymore after recent changes we were not aware of until we came to drop the pups off. We have been boarding here for years and loved riverbark, but sadly we will not continue to board here. Now you are not allowed to bring kennels, but thankfully they allowed this one time - our dogs sleep on their beds in their kennels because they have learned this is their safe space and can go in and out as they please. The cameras are now a charge, there’s no more yappy hour or turn down service before bed. The worst of all is that the staff leaves at 6pm and doesn’t return until 7am the next morning - that’s too long for the dogs to be kept in without a poty break or any kind of supervision! And the cost is even more expensive than before. For the money we are just going to hire someone to stay at our house. They also must not just go out as much anymore in general while there because they were always inside when we checked the cameras, and their beds smelled so bad that we just had to throw them away when we got home. ☹️ They also no longer offer Sunday pick up from 4-5pm so you have to pay for an extra night for boarding.

Very unprofessional and you don’t get what you pay for. We have had a large credit in our account for a long time for picking our pets up from boarding early. We go to pay today and all of a sudden there is absolutely no credit on the account, and the lady wants to argue us down and say she doesn’t even see where the credit would be from. Just clueless. After they claim there is no credit on the account after we paid they finally say oh it was applied, but the pricing doesn’t add up. They literally asked my mom who boarded her dogs at the same time if her dogs wanted to swim. Then when we pick up our dogs we asked if the dogs got to swim and they claim the pools have been closed due to a heating issue. Dogs were supposed to have a bath before pickup and they do not smell fresh and my mini schnauzer has caked on eye boogers. When we called a couple of weeks to get our dog groomed they said they are not doing grooming right now, but today they just gave my mom’s dog a haircut. First stay with the dogs the cameras didn’t work so we didn’t even bother this time.

Facilities were some of the best we’ve seen, but experience was not. We were told $65 a day when we booked for two dogs. They didn’t tell us that was the price for the first dog, and that the second dog was $50 a day. For 11 days that added up to a HUGE difference. A day after we got home I discovered that my 65 lb dog has a puncture wound, and an injury to his paw. They attributed it to my 35 lb dog. We’ve left them multiple other places with no injury to our dogs. There’s no accountability.

We used Carolina Pet Care for our recent trip out of state over Christmas and was very pleased! They are very detail oriented from the consultation, taking notes, leaving notes about each visit, frequent texts/pictures updates and making sure the house was not a mess when we came home (mail in a nice pile on the counter, packages that were delivered were brought in, cleaning supplies where they should be since I left them out if there was a need, dog bowls were washed) Our pups absolutely loved all the sitters and they made sure our dogs were loved on and comfortable as well. I was pleased knowing that they were so well taken care of throughout the visit and I didn’t have to worry. 10/10 recommend using them!

I have used their services twice and have been extremely pleased with them taking care of our cats. They have texted me updates a couple of times as well as left detailed information on what happened each time they came to my house. They spend time with the pets they are taking care of and got to the point of being able to pet 2 of my cats that don't like strangers. I highly recommend them!!!

These people mean the absolute world to us. We met them at a desperate time when my mom was on her deathbed in another state and we needed someone to take care of our 5 cats for an undetermined amount of time and immediately. My cats have never liked new people and always just hide under the bed when anyone besides us comes into the house. However, with their petsitters, we always get pics of them getting pets and lovins and playtime. When we get home, the lights are on, the mail is taken in and, most importantly, the cats are happy and healthy! We've been using Carolina Pet Care Services for over a year now. Just got back from a week's vacation and as always, I'm beyond grateful and impressed with the job they do. I can enjoy my vacation because I know my boys are being loved on and taken care of. Not only do they leave detailed notes from every visit(which I read out loud to the whole family the day we return bc I just love them!), but they take very good care of our home. We had a water main break in our neighborhood while we were gone and they let us know and handled everything. I wish I would have started using them sooner instead of ever using boarding services. Shannon and her team are the absolute best!

I am very disappointed with recent services. I requested three hourly visits a day to take care of my cats and came back to the mess.. dry poop on the floor, dirty, unwashed dishes, non scooped litter boxes, bags with litter waste in the kitchen trash bin smelled like it was there for several days, bag with a litter waste that was left on the floor in the hallway, cat bed on the floor, trash bin was not left for city services on Monday, and other unacceptable details.. I wish I have cameras in each room to see what the sitter was doing for an hour each time.. definitely lazy, unprofessional, and unreliable sitter..

Absolutely the best care you can give your pets when you are away. They leave a written note for each visit, send pictures during visits, and are quick to answer any text or email. We also used them for emergency pet care when I wound up in the hospital earlier this year and my husband had to leave quickly to be with me. They filled in the care for our guys with zero notice and we came home to happy, unstressed pups.

After YEARS of trying the perfect pet sitters for our babies I finally found Carolina Pet Care Services. I literally can not say enough good things about this company. The level of profession and their genuine love for animals exceeds every expectation I had. Not only are they are extremely thorough with their job, they are also super flexible with travel changes. I even had to go out of town a couple hours away last minute and they were able to swing by with almost zero notice to check on our crew. They leave detailed notes at each visit letting us know exactly what took place during each visit. I love coming home and reading about all the fun they had while we are away. I can finally leave our babies behind without worrying if they were being taken care of properly. They are truly amazing! My 3 fur baby’s are so happy and well taken care of while away ,all instructions where fallowed to a tee! Price is very reasonable!!!! They even do the extras .... take in mail bring trash to curb, complete peace of mind ,even wiped down the babies when they came in. Got pics and even got a written report card. Shannon and all the ladies are remarkably and truly care for your babies !!! We are so bummed we will not be in the area to have there amazing service!!!!!😭will miss then so very much!!!!

I am beyond happy, I've never been able to leave my babies before without a tragedy. I have two Yorkies and one is older and has bad anxiety when I leave her. This is the first time in God knows how long I left my babies to visit my family. When I returned, I came home to two happy, healthy and excited to see mama babies. They weren't over weight or under weight, but just how I left them. All instructions were followed and the notes described what they did daily. I noticed some of the things that were written down would only be noticed if they were comfortable and time was spent with them. I literally wanted to cry! I am so confident in Carolina Pet Cares ability to care for my babies I've already booked another trip to see family on a different side of the US. P.S. my babies don't travel well either so this service is a true blessing!

For the one week that Zöe has attended Day Camp and PLAY & TRAIN days, she is much confident and happy. Jessica (owner) and her Staff treated my FurBaby as their own and upmost professional establishment. We will keep this loyalty every time we are in town.

So happy I started taking my girl here! She loves going and gets so excited when we arrive. Recently she boarded for a few days and it was the first time I’ve felt like I could leave her and go out of town and not worry a bit. I love getting pictures and updates on how she’s doing and I really feel like everyone there enjoys seeing her even though she can be a bit of a brat sometimes lol. Will be using this place exclusively for daycare/boarding/training the entire time I live here! Highly recommend!

My dog loved his doggie daycare with Jessica. You can tell she's a hard working person that takes her job seriously. We'll definitely be going back!

Friendly staff, dogs get a lot of outdoor and free time. My older dog is not very sociable with other dogs but they got along great here. Would def recommend to board your pets here
