I paid up front for an entire week $230. My dog stayed one night. I felt uncomfortable with another dog that was coming and there was no proper separation in case of a fight and canceled trip. She said she would return my money the next day because she had already paid a bill. I called, texted. No answer, no call back.. I've never had to pay upfront at any boarding place. I'm very upset. I hate when people are dishonest.

We had a crisis when our arrangements for a dog sitter fell apart suddenly right before a long trip. Fortunately we found them and they saved us from a real problem. They are good people and they treated our dog well. I wholeheartedly recommend that they be one of your first choices for boarding you dog.

Paid the entire month and they stopped answering calls after the first visit! Dont call back, dont answer.

Jan and Jerry are wonderful people and truly go out of their way for their customers. They are very helpful and even helped train our dogs a little automatically and gave us great very helpful advice on training and even helped us introduce our new puppy to our other two dogs who were territorial, and it couldn't have gone smoother. 🥰 They are very experienced and know exactly what thir doing. I wouldn't trust Anyone else with our babies care. 😊

Jerry and his wife Jan are really rude and both unprofessionals. They try to have you pay cash so they don’t have to report to the IRS, not happening. Jerry came up to my face yelling how I have been ”a huge pain in his ass” after I called him out on a forged signature which is also illegal. my frenchie came out looking like a sack of bones, very skinny his harness wont fit him. made it clear to him that I will be taking my business elsewhere and so should you. how hard is it to watch two small dogs when you do that for a living? perhaps they need to retire they seem very old and perhaps tired

I’ve used Ruff Country for years. They are wonderful and kind, and my dog gets SO excited to hear she’s going to go play with her “friends”. She absolutely loves them, and they’ve told me they love her, ❤️❤️❤️ HIGHLY recommend.

I have been bringing my dog here about two years now for dog daycare and the occasional boarding. For boarding, they accommodate just about any food and medication request that you have. It's a flat rate per day. What I love about this boarding is that all day daycare is included. You don't need to pay extra money to have your dog play only one or two hours a day. They don't sit in the kennel run all day. They are active. They also don't sleep in cages. They are in animal stalls with runs that lead outside. They can walk around and don't need to sit for long periods in one spot overnight. They are given cots to rest on and the building has heat and AC. They also have generators should the power go out For daycare it is not a bunch of dogs in one pen. They match dogs that work well together in a small group. I have never had an injury, illness or any concern when my dog is there. They care about each animal and take time to know each of them As someone mentioned in another review,They do add a small fee for credit/debit cards as the rate per transaction has gone up. But at 15 bucks a day from 7-5pm, that's a steal already. My dog goes about three times a week (or less) for daycare. Daycare runs on weekends too! Can't say enough good things about this place. I cannot day enough good things about Ruff Country and the owners. I always feel reassured when dropping off my dog with them. My dog is always excited to go there. They have very nice clean facilities and amenities for the dogs. They offer a great value. Wish I could give them 10 stars!

Great service. They are very flexible with boarding dates. My mom had surgery and they worked with us extending the days. Very affordable fees in comparison to anybody else. The dogs are kept in a very nice kennel where they have the option to peek outside if they want to and come back in and it's all fenced in and climate controlled.

Very friendly, sweet people. Trust my dogs with them. We've been going to ruff country for a few years now and absolutely love it. My dogs go crazy when we drive up the road so you know they love it too. And now they have a pool and misting area to keep them cool! Prices are the best you'll find for the services you get. They don't charge you extra for play time, etc. Highly recommend!

First time leaving our puppy at a day care, looked around and went through the reviews. When I called they were really friendly answered all my questions, once I went to drop him off. The man was super friendly showed us around and explained how he works with them. It is very nice, with alot is space. Very clean, saw other dogs there and are very well taken care of. Definitely recommend this place and they truly care about our fur babies.

Weren't exactly ready for me to pick dogs up that evening, even though that was always the plan. I was told blankets were in washing machine, but they were in the dryer. If I leave the dogs there again, I'll take pictures of their stuff. Didn't get home with a blue chew toy, but haven't called yet. Nice people. Dogs had a good time.

Great service! Ruff Country watched our dog over Thanksgiving and were incredibly accommodating. Our dog seemed to do well during her stay, and the customer service allowed our minds to be at ease over the holiday weekend.

Waggy Tails is the best! They took amazing care of our cat while we were overseas for 10 days PLUS an unexpected extra 2 days while we were stuck in Atlanta due to airline issues. My fur babies were well taken care of while we were away for a few days. Both my dog and cat are elderly and need xtra care such as medications. Lesley was very attentive and kept me in the loop during the time I was away. I highly recommend Waggy Tails to care for your pets.

I used Waggy Tails while my partner and I were out of state and I cannot give Katherine enough praise. She met with us before and seriously was a god send as she dealt with our dog (situation after situation, life of a former shelter doggy). She sent pics and kept us updated the entire time which I really appreciated. Katherine went 100% above and beyond and we will forever be grateful of her help. It was scary leaving our dog for the first time but Waggy Tails did a fantastic job!

Leslie came by to meet our dog and cat a few days before so they could get acquainted and so we could give her some instructions. Katherine and Leslie are God sends! It is so nice leaving town and not ever having to worry if our dogs are taken care of. We joke that our dogs will be sad when we get home because they’re so spoiled and well taken care of by Katherine and Leslie. We love that they are able to come and stay with our dogs at our home where they’re comfortable and can stay in their regular routine. They feed, administer medication, walk, and love on our dogs. They also send picture updates daily, which we love. We always come home to happy dogs and a house just as we left it. I can’t recommend Waggy Tails Pet Care enough!

We had Katherine come to our house and watch our dog & cat and it was a wonderful experience. Katherine communicated with us if she had any questions and sent us pictures every few days. House was in perfect condition when we came home. I was very relaxed on vacation because I had peace of mind that my pets were happy and well taken care of. Would highly recommend.

I just discovered this place and started using it several months ago when nobody else had space due to spring break. They have booking available online and a painless check-in (limited to about 8 or 9 in the morning and 4 or 5 in the afternoon). I've had grooming done and it was great. These are sweet people and they have a nice indoor kennel. They kept me updated including pictures during the stay. You take your own dog's food, although they helped when I didn't realize that the first time!

First time leaving my dog, so I did a lot of research on the best places and this was the best. Your dog gets personalized attention, the place is huge, really nice and clean. Dogs get a lot of play time and their rooms are a very good size. They keep you updated on how your dog is doing and they send you photos and videos everyday. Could not be happier. My dog also had a blast while staying at this place.

I'd give this place 6 stars if I could! I sent my Labrador Retriever Puppy in last minutes notice due to another place failing to take my puppy so they gladly took him for the day and night. Their first time sign up is easy and drop-off was hassle free. I dropped off my pup and he instantly met new friends and the employees were so good to him he didn't want to leave by the time I came back to get him. Back out he slept HARD. I highly recommend these folks if you're in the area. AWESOME CARETAKERS.

We LOVE this place and have used Green Dog many times since our dog was a puppy. We know she’s in great hands and love the photo updates. The staff has a passion for pets and we have peace of mind our pup is taken care of. We also love the grooming add ons and pick up/drop off services if needed. First time having to leave my baby behind for a couple days. At first I was very apprehensive in the whole pet sitting idea. Leaving a key and trusting someone will come feed and take him out. I called Happy Tails and they were able to answer all my questions and help put my mind at ease. Our pet sitter JASMINE called us the same day to set up a consultation. She was extremely friendly and professional. My dog took to her right away and she even starting playing with him to calm him down. I left a very detailed schedule for Jasmine and requested daily text updates to see how our puppy was doing. Jasmine exceeded all our expectations, came home to a very happy, excited puppy. House was as clean as I left it too! I would definitely recommend Jasmine from this company.

Excellent. We have now used this service twice to watch our 3 cats while on vacation and are very pleased. $15 a day for a daily visit, feeding, and play. I like that they send lots of pictures of the cats so we know they came and that our cats are doing well. This is so much better than a pet hotel because the cats feel comfortable in their own home with their own toys. We will continue to use this service for future vacations.

I am so happy with Happy Tails. I remember seeing the service before I decided to get our first family pet. They were closed for new clients so I knew that they were a good business. When they finally had an opening I got in and I am so grateful for it! We have been using them the past 2 years. We go on month long stays overseas and so far have been very pleased with our sitter Michelle. She comes to play and feed our 2 cats and also feed our fish. Even when you are away they can water plants, and check your mail. Everything is arranged very easy they keep an updated account for your pets and what needs to be done at the house. Michelle sends pictures everyday of the cats and how they are doing. I would 100% recommend Happy Tails for pet sitting, and I will continue using them in the future.

I can't say enough good things about Happy Tails Pet Sitters (El Paso, TX). Michelle made daily visits to my house while I was out of town. She took great care of my cats--fed them, changed their water, cleaned their dishes, scooped their box, brought in flyers from the front porch, and texted me a daily report. She even took care of some unplanned extras, including cleaning up after one of the cats who was sick at the time. I felt very comfortable leaving them in her care, and it was great having her checking on the house while I was away. I will use Happy Tails every time I need a pet sitter. They were great!

Happy Tails is the best pet sitting service ever! I had such a pleasant experience with them. They are very professional, respectful and loving towards your pets. My fiancé and I just got back from a family reunion in South Dakota and our dog sitters, Judy and Bridget, were phenomenal! Throughout our trip in South Dakota, I had a peace of mind knowing that our dogs were well taken care of in the comfort of our home. Judy and Bridget stuck to the schedule that we have for our dogs. They kept us up-to-date by sending us photos and text messages after each visit. They even went as far as sweeping and mopping our floors so that we wouldn’t return to a dirty apartment. Our dogs were so happy and comfortable when we arrived home. I have nothing but great things to say about this company and the service they provide. Did I mention they are very affordable?! I have to say that I’m a HUGE fan of D’Lux. My dog is just about a year old and is VERY high energy and they never make me feel bad for how unruly and hyper he can be. They’re so good at keeping me in the loop and they’ll send me pictures and videos during his time playing. I’ve used predominantly the daycare services and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I’ve also boarded my dog here for 10 days and having access to the livestream cams and daily updates and images of him made it easier on me, plus the social boarding aspect made it an easier adjustment for my dog. So yeah, big fan, great and friendly staff and very reasonable prices. I’ve attached some of the photos the crew sent me of my boy enjoying the daycare services :)

We boarded our dog with D’Lux Dog Care for 6 days while we went out of town. They went above and beyond to accommodate him, from addressing his separation anxiety to making him feel at home. We loved being able to see him at all times thanks to the live-streaming cameras and daily photos we were sent! They even sent us updates on him and had a vet tech onsite to look after him. We will 100% be back next time we need to board our dog.

D’Lux Dog Care is the best! The level of service and care was amazing. I had an emergency come up and needed my pug to be boarded for an unknown time. I called and they were you able to get me in quickly when I needed it. Their communication is phenomenal, they answer promptly and send daily pictures of your dog to let you know they’re doing well. They were easy to extend timeframes on boarding and order grooming services. Dani and her staff truly care about the pets they have during the day and that are boarding with them. I wouldn’t choose another doggy daycare with this type of service and care that was given to me. Thank you for everything!

Love them!! I was very hesitant with any dog daycare since my dog is blind and old, but D’Lux has outdone themselves! They’re very responsive anytime and every time I reach out. They have cameras in the yards and in his room so that I can watch my baby if I get worried about him, and they send me a photo and updates of him frequently every day he visits!! We adopted a very high energy husky shepherd mix in El Paso and quickly realized he needed more stimulation than we could possibly ever provide- he’s a very social pack animal and loves to be surrounded by other dogs, especially high energy pups. We decided to give D’Lux a try based on a recommendation from a person we met at a dog park and it has been the best thing for all of us! Much to our dog’s irritation, we take him 1-3 times per week (he thinks he should just be a shop dog and live there) and he comes home content and tired. And it gives our geriatric older dog some respite from the chaos. The whole staff are amazing, the place is very well cleaned and maintained, and even the groomers and baker are fabulous! We boarded both our dogs there while we were away and they both did great and were well cared for. Plus, having cameras is fun so you can pop in and see what your babies are up to. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and am so sad to be moving away and losing them! (All photos from D’Lux parties or snapped from their camera- their theme parties for pups are adorable!!).

I couldn't be happier with the care my pup always receives at D'Lux! The staff is extremely friendly and you can tell they strive to provide the best care possible. The picture updates and live camera access provide me with peace of mind throughout the day. My pup has done both daycare and boarding with D'Lux Dog Care multiple times and she always leaves happy (and exhausted from all the playing with her furry friends). This past visit, the wonderful staff went above and beyond by celebrating my pup's birthday with special treats and even sent me a video of them singing Happy Birthday to her! First time using D’Lux but far from a novice when it comes to boarding my pups, so when I say they are hands down the best that is not empty praise! From the moment I requested information to start the on boarding process to picking up my pups after they spent 4 days at D’Lux, the professionals that work there were amazing. They maintained daily communication with me, sent pictures of my pups while they were there and even offered to add some extra flavor to their food when they noticed the pups weren’t eating a lot. I bring my pup Tinkerbell for doggy daycare and she absolutely loves it! The care that the employees show for the pets, all the activities and the great communication makes D’Lux a fantastic place to bring your dog. We recently moved to El Paso and needed a place for our board our dog for two nights. D’Lux had amazing reviews so I contacted them right away! They were very caring and I could tell that take such great care of their pups. Being a crate free environment, it is so nice that the dogs get to play and interact all day, under supervision from employees! Having access to a live cam is also a plus to check on our pup throughout the day. They are so personable, even sending check in photos throughout the stay. Will be back!

We used howl-a-Day in to board one of our doggos for a few days. And they are great. Super nice and caring individuals when it comes to the animals and they understands different dogs have different needs and requirements. I would highly recommend them if you need a safe place to take your dog.

Love Howl-a-Day Inn! It's been about a year since I last took my dog here but when I recently called to book another stay for him the lady remembered him and was so excited to have him I've never felt more welcome. Our dog always comes back happy and exhausted from his time outside. Such a great place absolutely adore the owner your dog would love it!

So glad I found this place. Not only is it on my way to the airport, but it is a clean, safe facility providing the best of care for my Wheaten Terrier. The owner is very knowledgeable and professional and obviously loves dogs. Dog approved and highly recommended. We will be back!

Just picked my dogs up this morning from a long weekend stay and they loved it. They are so tired. The picture updates on Facebook were awesome! We will absolutely be bringing them back. When I went to tour the facility before my dogs stay, they gave me the detailed questionnaire as well as a few documents to read about how they operate as well as other educational material which was wonderful. It’s well worth the few minutes of reading to go through it! Of all the boarding facilities in El Paso, this has been my favorite by far!

If I could give this place ten stars I would. 🌟 x 10 ! I love my dog like a son and I was looking for the best place. Not only is this the best place, it's very affordable, the owner is very knowledgeable and friendly, the staff is very nice and caring, everyone goes the extra mile to make sure your pet is OK and they give you peace of mind. I've used their services twice, including a four day vacation and I will continue to use their services. And, my dog loves this place 😃 ❤️

Melina and her staff are awesome! It’s easy to tell that they truly care about any dog that walks through their gates. I left my three small dogs with them and really liked knowing that they were getting attention, their own space to hang out and plenty of outside time. They came home a little dusty, which was expected but definitely happy and well taken care of.

By far the best dog daycare/boarding facility we have ever been too. The owner will care about your dogs just as much as you do! Our dogs Cooper and Jake absolutely love it there. It is such a relief knowing that they are well-taken care of and are having a blast while we are away. I am so thankful to find a place that doesn’t keep them in kennels for most of the time. They are out running around having fun and playing. She even makes them special treats! They don’t even get that much special treatment at home. We are so thankful to have found Howl a day inn and would highly highly recommend.

This is the perfect place if you're looking for a day care, either because you just work too much and don't have the time to care for them as you wished..or maybe you are in the middle of a last minute trip and stress is kicking you right in the 🤬... or probably you need a lil break from those lil rascals who are just too happy to settle down, BUT! maybe......the concern of not being able to find or trust the right person or place where our dogs can be treated as if it was you the one loving them ? Well this is the right place for you why? Because the safety of our dogs is Howl Day Inn #1 priority, Our 4 leg babies will always receive that love and care with much heart.. Our 🐕🐾 certainly couldn't be in any other better hands! Just saying!

Best dog boarding and doggy daycare in town and in the surrounding area. I trust them 100% with my dogs. They are very good taken care of, even spoiled with special organic treats, one on one playtime, love and cuddles. They have plenty of space to run around during the day and they even have doggy pools in the summertime. My dogs come home happy and they always get happily excited when they go back. Definitely worth every penny! It's a 5+ stars from me.

I cannot recommend Lisa and her team enough! They took care of my rabbits on multiple occasions and were so thorough and handled my bunnies with care. I appreciate that they were in constant contact with me and truly cared for my rabbits well being.

Lisa does more than I would ever expect of someone. She not only takes care of our dog but she takes care of any issue in the house. She give full reports of everything and keeps in contact with us about everything. We feel totally comfortable traveling because of her. 5 stars is not enough!
