Providing Pet Sitting in the Arapahoe, North Carolina
We're a very healthy, clean, and conscientious couple who love pets!
Caylon and Yara took good care of our home and pets. They were reliable and able to follow the extra card needs of Gadget. The home was clean and tidy when we arrived back. We received some updates while gone, though always appreciate more daily+ ones. Thank you both!

Ginger is a Nurse Practitioner and Jeff is an RN.
We feel very fortunate to have had Ginger and Jeff take care of our cats, house, and garden. They did a great job of that, but they also brought a calm presence that reflected in the mood of our cats upon our return. When we returned the house was spotlessly clean. The sheets and towels were washed and changed. And the garden was well tended. We could not have asked for more. In summary, we would happily welcome Ginger and Jeff back into our home. For they were not only exceptional sitters, they are also exceptional people.

Retired couple ready to care for your home and pets like they are our own.
Shawn & Clive are a great couple: friendly, reliable, competent and enthusiastic. They did a fabulous job caring for our dog and two cats plus our house and yard. The animals were happy and healthy on our return, the garden and yard watered, the house neat and tidy, and they even provided a short-term fix for our outdoor shower malfunction. We would welcome them back.

Mary was fantastic from start to finish and looked after our elderly dog with love and attention to her needs. She also looked after our home with respect and care. We couldn't have asked for a nicer sitter and would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs.
Lani is an excellent Pet Sitter and housesitter. Communication was easy, our pet Cleo appreciated her loving care. We came home to a relaxed and happy cat. I would happily ask Lani to housesit again.
We were lucky to have Andrea back for another sit with our elderly dog and feral cat. She has been wonderful both in the past and on this last sit for a month! We trust her implicitly and are always at ease that our pets will have the most kind and careful attention. She is excellent with videos and communication and very clean and tidy. Again we feel lucky to have found her, and feel she would be a great sitter for any pets!
Felecia was an excellent sitter and perfect companion for Livi, our 3 yr old Aussie mix! She was always prompt with communication when needed, took great care of our pet and house and was just as clean coming home as we left it. I would not hesitate to recommend Felecia for other sits.
Rachel was an excellent pet sitter for my cat. She was a good communicator and also kept my place very tidy. She even left me a gift of a bar of chocolate upon her departure! Highly recommend.
Laura was an exceptional, reliable, and loving sitter for our goldendoodle Scout, and took such good care of our home! Scout was excited to meet Laura immediately when she arrived at our home for this sit, and showered Laura with all the hugs and kisses. Scout has recently been having issues with seizures, so for this sit I was specifically looking for a sitter who had a depth of experience with giving medication and responding calmly in the event of an emergency. It was a big relief to be able to entrust Scout to Laura's capable and kind hands, and it was extra special that Laura's beloved vizsla had shared the same name. Laura is wonderfully easy to communicate and coordinate with, and was thorough in her care of our home. We came back to our garden looking great, house left in even better shape than I left it to Laura, and a very happy Scout! I cannot overstate how much we appreciated Laura's care for Scout and our home, and heartily recommend her as a pet and house sitter. If you're lucky enough to get on Laura's schedule, your pups will be with the most wonderful stand-in dog mom you could have hoped for!
We had the pleasure of having Tara as our house sitter while we were away, and we can't praise her enough for the fantastic job she did. Not only did she take excellent care of our home, but she also showed tremendous love and attention to our beloved dogs. From the moment Tara walked through the door, we could tell she had a genuine passion for animals. She immediately bonded with our dogs, and they seemed completely at ease with her. Throughout our trip, she provided us with regular updates and photos, which truly put our minds at ease knowing our boys were in great hands. Tara took great care of our home as well. It was evident that she respected our space and coming back home, we found everything just as we left it, if not even better! We highly recommend Tara to anyone in need of a reliable, trustworthy, and caring house sitter. Her communication was excellent, and she proved herself to be a responsible and dedicated individual. If you want to ensure your pets and home are in the best hands while you're away, Tara is the perfect choice. Thank you, Tara, for taking such incredible care of our dogs and home. You made our trip stress-free, and we're truly grateful.
Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. If you are privileged enough to ever have Janis sit we are certain that you will be as delighted and happy as we are.
Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.
If you’re lucky enough to find Anna as your pet sitter you will have peace of mind and well cared for pets whilst you are away and a clean and tidy home on your return. Anna is thoughtful and kind, she arrived the evening before the sit which allowed for some time to hear about her interesting travels and work, kept me updated with fabulous photos and details of the friendship she was making with the cats and even took the trouble to fix a sticky catch on the cat flap. I can recommend her as a sitter without hesitation. Thank you Anna

I’ve been taking my Shih Tzu to Jill’s for maybe four months now or a little longer. I decided to let someone else groom her because it was starting to take me a really long time. So when I was taking her, I didn’t think it was a problem for them to cut her nails, but I did mention to them if they needed to muzzle her it would be fine. Last couple of times I noticed her nails were getting longer and then she started limping. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought they would be taking my money and not clipping her nails and jacking the price of the grooming up. I ended up having to cancel her last appointment there and to make an appointment at Craven Animal Hospital to have them cut her nails because they had started curling back into her paws. Now for that to start happening to a dog, that’s been well taken care of and has always had their nails cut. Someone had to be neglecting her for two or three months. I will never go back there again. The supervisor there seems to be trying to be friends with the employees so I don’t think she’s really handling them well if they’re not cutting nails because they are afraid. I know I’m not the first person this has happened to. I just want everyone to know what they are doing in that grooming room. And it could be a new person or it could be someone that just didn’t feel like cutting her nails and decided they’d skip it and let the next person cut them. Talk about Mad, I was steaming. I had to keep myself from going over to Jill’s and confronting the supervisor and the person that had been doing her nails. I’m seriously considering taking them to court and getting my money back. Beware, you have been warned. Our pets are just like children so when someone hurts them, it really gets under our skin. A previous time when I took her to get groomed, she had little cuts all over her body. I have no idea how this could happen unless it was someone inexperienced or being mean to her.
By far the best pet daycare and boarding facility I have ever used! I never worry about either of my furbabies when they are at Jills...you can tell they are loved. I really like how they always greet me and my dogs and they always remember Tobie's name. I wish I could give them more stars!
We’ve been taking Cooper(Charles) Williams to Jill’s since May. He does daycare and boarding. I know when I drop him off he is well taken care of. He also boards there and he loves it. He practically pulls me into the place and happily goes in. Everyone at the front desk is so welcoming and the daycare and kennel staff take good care of my Cooper. They all do a great job. Thanks for having a caring and safe place for my Baby. Keep doing a great job. The Williams.
I’m always impressed with Jill’s. I know it’s not easy cutting a doodle and we’ve had many bad haircuts elsewhere. But not once over the last 2 years has Jill’s disappointed. I’ve also never had my anxiety ridden dog so happy to go back without even glancing back at me. It tells me she’s taken care of. The price is actually great compared to the quality you get elsewhere. Will always recommend
This place is amazing! Our baby girl stayed 13 days and came home freshly bathed and smelling good! She wasn’t anxious at all! She stayed in their classic suite due to nothing larger available but it was still a 4’x2’ area. Next time we’ll upgrade to larger suite! Well worth the 1.5 hour drive away from home. I was relaxed knowing our baby girl would be very well taken care of and not just locked in a tiny kennel and left alone! Our Gracie Daith will stay here from now on!
I will preface this review with the fact that the groomer was completely professional and informative. So was the staff at the front desk. To elaborate on this first time experience, I will say, I will not return. I own a Great Pyrenees. She is a working dog. Strictly outside 24/7 (unless it’s scalding outside, then she gets mild indoor A/C treatment.) That means she’s a mess, and nearly impossible to maintain without proper tools or expertise. We like her to get a good grooming at least twice a year to shed her layers of coat to help her maintain in the hot weather. My mother dropped Ella off at 8:30am for a walk in appt. We knew it would take some time between scheduled appts and other walk ins for her to be done. I didn’t pick Ella up until after closing. (5:30pm) Perhaps it was my mother’s fault for not giving the correct in-depth information to these people about the lifestyle of our dog. Perhaps it was the staffs fault for not assessing Ella more promptly or thoroughly or asking questions about her constant environment that could have given them more information about the dog they were going to attempt to groom. Upon arrival, I just wanted to get my girl home. I didn’t care if she was wet, unfinished, or not done at all. She had been away from the farm for too long and around animals she was unfamiliar with all day and I knew she would be stressed. They rushed to get the most important part of her grooming done in the 20 mins I was there waiting. Her undercoat and deshedding. They had the opportunity to charge me the extra $40 for it too. $155 later (because I felt guilty leaving no tip. I know she’s hard work and I love to tip well when it is deserved… if it would have been more timely and prepped, I would have gave way more, because I appreciate the effort put in.) I left with a dog who was still a little damp, and still needs a good brushing to get all the excess off, but is very clean and smells better than the chicken poo she had previously rolled in. Safe to say, if you have a full-time working dog, this groomer is not for you. They seem to excel at well maintained, smaller indoor pets. Given the neighborhood, I could have assumed as much. They do extremely well with what they know. But if you have a large breed working dog, this won’t be the place for you. I still appreciate the work you guys did, and I know it must have been a shocking experience compared to what you’re used to. Now you know, if someone says “working dog” ask some questions. Thank you.
Today was the first time I ever took my dog Bear who is a Labradoodle to Jill's pet spa to get groomed. I was a little nervous because I know some places can really botch up a doodle breed. When I came to pick him up, I was extremely mind blown with how amazing he looked. He smelled wonderful, and the groomer was extra ordinary when it came to what I wanted done with my dog. I will 100% will be taking him back in six weeks to get groomed again.!!!!
As always, the staff goes over and beyond to make sure my fur babies have a great stay. They are always friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Jill’s and will continue to use them often!
Grayson and Bones stayed at Jill's for two nights in a suite. When I picked them up, their blanket was soaked in feces, and they smelled atrocious. I was advised it had just happened, yet how could my dogs smell exactly like the blanket if it JUST happened. It has been a week, and both of my Great Danes are now suffering from severe Kennel Cough. They went in healthy, and I picked them up stinky and sick. So now $250 at Jill's and a nice hefty vet bill to follow it up. My dogs will not return, and I refuse to recommend it. @Jackson, I appreciate you reaching out to me directly. It reduced my anger greatly. Your concern for our family was more than I could have expected. You, sir, are one in a million. You have my respect, and my Danes are so very grateful as well.
Ashley did a great job on my little dog Murphy. I think it's my favorite hair cut for him!
We have worked with pet sitters in different states for 20 years. Crockett's is easily the best operation we have employed. They blend professionalism, personal interest in animals, and high standards in a way that we have not seen previously. The service industry in New Bern is not stellar (compared to other, more competitive places where we have lived). But you can't go wrong with Crockett's Critter Care.
We have used Crocketts critters for about 3 yeast. Never a problem always on time. They take care of our 4 cats when ever we go away. You won’t find better pet sitters.
I have a multi cat household and have been a client of Crocketts critter care for eight years. The quality of care is excellent and each visit is reported by email, so I know what is going on while I am traveling. In addition to feeding and scooping litters boxes, the cats are played with and brushed, and given medication when needed. Jeanne personally trains all her employees and they are all polite, screened animal lovers. Packages are brought in and I am immediately contacted of an irregularities at the house. Thank you Crocketts critter care for taking wonderful care of my family while I'm away.
Jeanne and her crew of critter caretakers make leaving my pet behind much easier. They give me peace of mind knowing my furry friend is in good hands with the photos and updates I get during my time away. They are professional, diligent, and most importantly, loving toward my pet as if it was their own. Overall, some of the best pet care I have received.
This was my first time working with Crockett’s. I am a nervous cat mom with two cats that have different medical issues. Jeanne reviewed everything that would be done when we had our meet and greet. During our vacation, Caitlin took wonderful care of our cats. We received a daily update and lots of pictures and this was so reassuring. I actually didn’t worry about them a few days into the trip because I knew Caitlin was doing a great job with them. 10/10 - would use again! Fantastic service.
We used Crockett's Critter Care for the first time while we were traveling out of state. Being new to the area, I was eager to find a pet sitter that I could rely on while we were out of town for over a week. The Crockett team is really communicative, during both out introductory conversations, and throughout their pet sitting time (I received daily updates with pictures while we were out of town). It made me feel comfortable knowing the company is bonded and insured, and I prefer this over services with more casual/informal pet sitting services (like Rover). They're also incredibly thorough, and want to make 100% sure they provide excellent service while you are out of town, taking the time to meet your pets, walk through your home and your info sheets to ask any clarifications and walk through "what if" scenarios. Just as an advisory to potential future clients would be to ensure your entire info sheet is up to date prior to the walk-through of your home. I failed to update an important part of the info sheet prior to the visit, and when I remembered after the visit, we needed to schedule a second visit to review the changes. It was definitely a miss on my end, and I was glad the team came back to review the changes, but it did require an incurred service fee for the second visit. Thank you again to the Crockett's Team! We'll definitely be using them again :)
I want to just say that Jeanne is the best there is! I was very worried about leaving my two older cats (one that needs medication twice a day) for a week. Jeanne put my worries to rest and I had a great trip knowing my fur babies were taken care of. I love that she updates you on each visit and sends pictures. I will forever be grateful for your kindness to my cats and the reassurance you gave me. I highly recommend Jeanne and her company and will definitely be using her again for all my worry free trips!
If you are looking for the best pet sitters in this area, then look no further. Jeanne and her crew have been taking care of Patrick and Dorabella, two Siamese beauties, for two almost two years! They love for their sitters to come visit them when Mom is away. They get lots of time, great care, like brushing and conversation, and medicines administered. I have loved having them care for my babies and been worry free on my travels. Do yourself a favor, and enjoy your travels by allowing Jeanne and her trained crew to take care of your babies while you are away. My pets tell me the best part is being able to stay home and have wonderful folks care for them there. Thank you Jeanne and Carol and all your crew. Patrick, Dora, and I love you all. And we are very discriminating!!
I can always tell after Jeanne or someone from Crockett’s Critter care, has visited because my dogs are happy and try to talk to me to tell me how much fun they have had. I love the photos they send, especially if I am out of town. The love she has for animals is amazing! Highly recommended!
This was my first time having to leave my cat while I went on vacation and I was very nervous! Kate took such great care of my cat Lilith even though she was shy of strangers. She followed all my instructions perfectly and even left the cat areas cleaner than I do on a daily basis. Lilith even decided to come out and see her for a little bit after a few days. I really appreciate the daily updates while I was gone and the care taken at the original walk through to be sure to get all the information they needed to take such good care of my baby! The price was very reasonable and I can't state how much I appreciate the extra measures taken to be considerate of mask and gloves wearing during covid. As a person with a compromised immune system it was so nice that they were already wearing masks and were careful about that during each visit and I didn't have to ask I would definitely recommend this business and will be using them again!!
Our Great Pyrenees need a full grooming, this is our first experience this organization and business, our friends go their for all their dogs grooming and spa treatment; and, BEN was treated like a personal pet lovingly and wonderfully. The incredible staff at Beach PAWS treated him so well they listened to our instructions and care information and gave BEN an incredible SPA day and grooming he was so happy with his experience when he came out to see me am he also went to the groomer to thank her for caring for him so well We fully appreciate and endorse The Beach PAWS.
Just picked up my little Maltipoo Grizzly after his first time being groomed here and I have to say that I am very impressed. He looks so adorable, his cut length is perfect and the price cannot be beat! I will definitely be returning again and letting people know what a great place this is! 🤩🤩🤩 …
They always take extra good care of our dogs! This week my father in law was sent to Chapel Hill burn center after getting burned while doing yard work. My wife called Beach Paws last minute and they took our dogs in without hesitation. They truly are a wonderful pet boarding facility, providing top-notch care and compassion for our furry family members. Their quick response and willingness to help alleviate a stressful situation for us truly sets them apart. We highly recommend!!
I needed a last minute boarder for my two pups while visiting family in the area! I don’t typically board my dogs but in this situation it was needed. The staff were extremely friendly and patient. They entertained my daily calls to check on my pups! Clean facility. If needed would use them in the future!
We have used Beach Paws for boarding, day care and grooming since they first opened, and can attest they are truly a first class, caring place for your dog!! They’ve gone way above and beyond to take special care of our Charlie through the years, and she is so excited to go there each time. We love Beach Paws!!! ❤️❤️
Crystal is such a great groomer allow me to share some pics with you. These pics were taken just a few days ago and she was informed to be very careful with the#10 blade as my Schnauzer Ollie had growths to be aware of and make sure you don't burn him with a #10 blade. Here is her good work. I am beyond angry.
Highly recommended! First time taking my puppy there and they were fantastic, the groomer came out and listened to my suggestions and did a great job. I was really impressed with this place, is super cute and they seem to love and care for all pets that visit. I will be definitely bring her back again! Thank you for what you do 👏🏻👍🏻 …
Both of my cats got puncture wounds and fleas. Fleas made bite marks in one of my cats. so, on top of the flees, I had to pay for skin healing treatments. Big bill for all 3 of my cats. The company called ME and denied it. 3 of my cats live separately but had fleas at the same time so that is false. My cat got sick from the free fed food from the other cats. Also, please know that they put all the cats in one room. They lost a customer.
Shadow, my German Shedder, wears her Beach Paws grooming very well… No worries and No regrets ! 🐕 …
Very nice staff! Brought my two dogs in and they did a fabulous job!!! Definitely recommend 👌 …
This facility is amazing! My pup has attended daycare, and most recently boarding. The supervised play time is great for her socialization. They attach a report card daily, with photos. The 24/7 webcam access is wonderful to check in on her. She’s always having fun! The staff engages in play with the dogs, and you can tell they truly care about them. We had a not so great experience at another boarding facility in the area. I was nervous to board her again. However, picking her up from boarding, she was as happy as can be and I knew she was well taken care of and loved while we were away. Thank you so much❤️
I recently had the pleasure of using both the daycare and boarding services at All American Pet Resort in New Bern for my high-energy dog, Bailey, and I can't praise them enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, making both me and Bailey feel right at home. The daycare experience has been outstanding. Bailey, with her boundless energy, gets to enjoy spacious play areas and plenty of engaging activities, including their amazing pool. She loves splashing around and cooling off, and it's clear that the pool is a favorite among the dogs. The staff's attentiveness and genuine love for animals shine through, providing me with peace of mind knowing Bailey is in great hands during the day. When it came time for boarding, the experience was just as exceptional. The facilities are spotless and equipped with everything a pet could need for a comfortable stay. The staff provided daily updates and photos, reassuring me that Bailey was having a fantastic time. She especially enjoyed her pool time, and it was clear she was well taken care of and enjoying herself when I picked her up. Additionally, I took advantage of their additional services, including baths and nail trims, which are handled by their skilled kennel techs. Bailey came home looking and smelling wonderful, with her nails done perfectly. The kennel techs did an excellent job, further showcasing the high level of care and attention all pets receive at the resort. All American Pet Resort truly goes above and beyond in their care for pets, making it the best choice for both daycare and boarding. I highly recommend them to any pet owner looking for a reliable, loving, and fun environment for their furry family members. Five stars all the way!
All American pet resorts was amazing with are German Shepherd, The front staff was so warm and welcoming, they had cameras in the waiting room so you could watch how are fur baby was interaction with other dogs, They have the private suites which also had camera so you can watch your fur baby as well, Very clean! Dylan had great time he spent 3 hours there, he was relaxed when got home, which was I nice feeling, he wasn’t anxious when we left, We have decided to leave Dylan there when we go away on vacation, I felt he would be well taken care of at the All American pet resorts, We have tried a few different places I never felt comfortable leaving Dylan there, We finally found one! Renee Robinson
I am using All American Pet Resorts in New Bern, NC. My Dutch Shepherd Luna has visited twice now. Luna is only 28 months old and still full of energy. This facility is spotless clean. Staff is excellent with both the customers and their dogs. I highly recommend this facility for anybody who needs boarding, day spa, grooming, etc.
We brought our dogs with us from out of state; The initial phone call was very informative and helpful. When we arrived, check in was smooth and seamless. I loved receiving the report cards each day with pictures of play time etc. To know they were enjoying themselves with new friends and awesome staff was a breathe of fresh air and no worries for us. It was the best boarding experience we have had. Highly recommend and will definitely be using them whenever we travel to the area again.
I took my 2 older dogs in for daycare. They spent time in doggy play. I watched on the Webcam. They seemed to really enjoy themselves. The 12 year old had such a good time playing, she went straight to her bed and slept for hours.
All American is the best in New Bern. We have used several other boarding and daycare services here and none are as good as AAPR. We live 5 mins from another popular pet center but have had such superior experiences here that it’s worth the drive across town for us. The staff are so friendly and clearly very experienced and knowledgable about dog’s behavior. They are thoughtful with the play groups and give them breaks throughout the day to prevent overstimulation. Our dog leaps out of the car upon arrival and comes home delightfully tired. Really can’t say enough good things!
TLDR: They're amazing! Try for yourself and see how pleased you and your pup will be! Full review: We used the lowest grade/basic boarding services, the Deluxe Suite. The price was very reasonable, and felt like you get "more bang for your buck." You don't necessarily have to pay up front (at least for boarding), as you do with most other places/people. We paid about the same rate per night as we would with boarding in someone's home, with SO many, many more benefits, and then even more!!! Access to all public cameras, guaranteed play time with other pups of similar sizing (if you so choose), someone is always there (which also helps if you need to drop off or pick up at odd hours), caring staff, secure indoor and outdoor areas, and a bed. :) They don't charge additional for every little thing. Included in any boarding and with no additional charge: food, water, treats, (most) medicine administering, group play, daily report card with pictures, and more. It did catch me off guard that it seemed that there were little to no collars on the dogs during our stay, which quickly turned into a pleasant surprise that shows me they do their best to ensure that the pups are as comfortable and carefree as possible. FYI - for brand new clients, I believe they require online registration and an orientation day with your pup(s) prior to boarding so make sure you plan accordingly. The owner, Jennifer, and her staff are top notch, and will DEFINITELY be seeing us again soon! Thank you AAPR for your love and care of my furbaby!
Decided to try this spot after the previous grooming place became very inconsistent and I will definitely be switching to here! Service was amazing and the inside was very clean and new. Everyone was very friendly. Most importantly, my pup Strawberry looked and smelled clean. The cut was great and any of her mats and snags were gone. She was brushed to perfection and was so soft. It was evident how much attention the groomer gave to her. They also added super cute little bows to complete her look! Awesome groomer and hopefully the service stays consistent. Will be my new place for Strawberry!
Angel, the young lady at the reception desk is very nice and helpful. Having multiple web cams let's you see your dog whether playing with the group or in his private space.
The owner is incredibly good with dogs (ours get excited when we tell them we are going to visit). The kennel itself is spotless, roomy and comfortably air-conditioned, with individual beds and runs for the dogs, and a large fenced play area. This is the best kennel within 100 miles, without a doubt. Found it via the website: DoveLandingKennels.com. Seriously awesome
Best place for your dog to stay. Alicia is a great trainer and has genuine care for your dog. And she's also great with people
Alecia is great! We always know Claire is in good hands when she stays at Dove Landing.

Wonderful place to leave your animals!
Wonderful caring place.
Rachel Collins was great with our Cavapoo. She took time to listen to what we wanted for his haircut and offered her advice as well. She fixed a few grooming mistakes that had been made on him in the past as well. Will definitely be returning! All other staff very friendly and welcoming as well.
Simply have to update the review. We left Ripken at Lynaire Kennels for a two day stay to get him "ready" for a month long stay. To say he had fun was an understatement. This dog loves these people! There is simply no one else that we would entrust our furbaby with. No one. Thank you Lynaire and all your wonderful staff who give us peace of mind and our pooch a wonderful experience. We took our "baby" to Lynaire Kennels for two nights to see if they could handle him. We have not found a place or a person who could babysit this baby as he is just too energized and too big. Well, he did not appreciate us leaving him with strangers but they pulled it off. He was cared for, loved on and his needs were met. The facilities are spotless, the staff are gracious and kind and extremely responsive to nervous mommies phone calls. I've already booked his next visit. This time for four nights. This keeps up, we will be able to have a real vacation without all the anxiety of wondering if baby is happy! Ripken is his name. He is a 112 lb. German Shepherd. Full gladiator personality to go with the muscle mass! Congratulations Lynaire, you past the gladiator test!
They take great care of our elder pup when we travel, and we can't take him with us. And we love the pictures they post. They are very responsive to emails, too.
This was my first visit. Ohanna and I were greeted at the door by a staff member with a warm welcome. She had a big smile and was very engaging in conversation. She immediately took to Ohanna and doted on her. The office staff were friendly and welcoming. Let me also say that when I was making my reservation for Ohanna, they were very nice on the phone. I would definitely recommend this kennel!
Nanette always makes our girl look her best!!! Great place for grooming as well as boarding!
My experience with Lynaire Kennels was subpar to say the least. We payed extra to have them in a suite. I gave simple and exact instructions when I dropped off my Fur Babies. I was impressed at the detail of the drop off process. I contacted the kennels through Facebook messenger and got a reply within a few hours after dropping them off. a few days later I contacted them again for an update, the sent me a couple of pictures. They posted some photos to their page a few days later. the next time I saw any communication was when I asked again For an update 5 days later. With about a week left they contacted me to tell me there was not enough food for the entire stay. This turned out to not be the case. Upon our return we went and picked up our Fur Babies, this is where we realised that the details taken during the drop off process tuned out to be smoke and mirrors. when we got home both the kiddos were begging for food, something they do not do normally unless they haven’t been eating due to upset stomach or an procedure that requires them to not eat. When I dropped them off I gave instructions for feeding a multiple bags of frozen and fresh food. the bag that had leftovers in it that they returned was the open bag I gave them three week earlier and was rancid. I also gave them two bags each of two different supplement treats with instructions for 1 treat of each type per day per dog, all four bags were opened;however, only a few treat were missing from each bag. I easily can deduce that the treats were not fed as instructed. And why open the second bag when there are still treats in the first bag. The next thing that stood out was that I provided in dated sealed bags frozen chicken for the kennel to use to provide the required medicine for each of my Fur Babies. when I picked them up there was a lot of chicken still remaining. I understand the last few packages as we picked the kiddos up a day early but the dozen others made no sense. I noticed in the bag they retuned the medicines in was a chart initialled by the employee for medicine tracking. There were multiple days where medicine was not administered, and it was difficult to tell if there was a way to track the multiple medications for the same Fur Baby. I have no way of knowing if my Fur Babies were treated correctly or even given the perks I payed for. If the kennel is so mismanaged that it cannot ensure my kiddos medicine is given properly, does not inform me of any issues, and is to incompetent to use all of an open bag of food or treats before opening the next one, how can I trust they are doing the other things promised in the price plan. do not use Lynaire. I am just glad my Kiddos were not poisoned by food that was either opened and kept longer than suggested or left un refrigerated for days. I will never use their services again. Totally unacceptable.
Best kennel in my area. They are so nice and attentive. I wish my dog could leave a review but if he did I’m sure it would be a 10/10 cuz he’s always happy af coming out of that door! They know him by name when we walk in the door. It’s like the 80’s show ‘Cheers’ where “everybody knows your name” and without the alcohol 🥰 They give military and veteran discounts as well 🇺🇸and they don’t charge for the day of pickup if you come early between certain hours. They have a fun agility play area and offer daily nature walks for a small fee. I won’t take my baby anywhere else! I highly recommend! The ONLY recommendation I have is maybe an app or text messages with a pic and update for your baby. I would really love that especially after a long stay.
Absolutely wonderful. We were able to get all 4 dogs in for grooming. Everywhere we called they were months out. We loved how they looked. We will be Boarding the dogs here too. After meeting the staff and the care they received during a spa day. We are very impressed.
My rescue Airedale Terrier Rusty LOVES going to Lynaire! He gets so excited when we go across the bridge. When I am booking his appointments and he hears Christy on the phone, he goes bonkers with excitement. When we arrive, he is so very happy to be there. Once he got sick with a stomach issue, and they were great to stay in touch and treat him. I love the place and the staff
Took care of Max while we were away, he was happy to see us, and happy to go back also. Thank you Lynaire
So we just used this place for boarding for the second time. First time we didn’t have any issues. This time we asked for our puppy to be bathed, nails done, etc. while she stayed over. When I picked her up today 10/22/22, the girl asked if was just the boarding and I explained she was supposed be bathed. I was told a simple, “Sorry we didn’t bathe her.” That’s was it…once I got home I noticed an odor of urine my wife immediately smelled it as well and also noticed that her paws were red. We called our regular groomer (who had Tail Waggin Ranch and others on a list of preferred boarding options) and she was able to get us in right away. She explained that the redness was most likely from her sitting/laying in urine for an extended period of time. When we went to pick her up she explained that the bath water was “Horrendous”. She apologized even though she had nothing to do with it and explained that after seeing the condition of our puppy they will be removing them from the list of preferred boarders. We did call and ask to speak to the owner and was told they aren’t there very often but the manager would give us a call back. Still haven’t heard from anyone and that was about 3 hours ago.
Tail Wagging Ranch has employees who care, are laid back, communicate well and really made us feel like we made the best decision bringing our dog on vacation. Our nervous dog was excited to go back each day after we brought him to the beach with us and watching him on the camera when he was there for the day or two we didn't made us feel good to know he was content! We couldn't thank you enough for taking care of our Bailey! Thank you.
My dog, Teddy had a blast during his week long stay. Kind and caring staff that took care of him like he was theirs. I’ll definitely be back!
Tail Wagging Ranch is by far the best dog daycare facility I have been too! Our pup is always taken wonderful care of and he loves all his friends (two legged and four legged) there. Super clean facility and mopped and washed down several times a day. Rachel is a rockstar!! From the first time we walked thru the doors till now she is always awesome with Chesney and just a sweet caring person with an amazing personality! Thanks to you all for being a wonderful and appreciated part of Chesneys family!!
Dropped our two labs off for the week of July Fourth. Everyone was nice. Check In was quick and easy. The dogs were happy at pickup time. They seem to have enjoyed their stay.
I will say it seemed like a promising place. After discovering a bacterial and yeast infection on our dog (we were never informed, doesn't seem like they even knew) we decided we will be taking our business elsewhere. Did not appreciate paying for an emergency vet visit in addition to the full price for this "premium" kennel
Our girls had a sleepover Jan 26(first time ever) and the staff was AMAZING They took very good care of one of our girls who is not only a senior, but nervous and has separation anxiety. We brought their blankets and not only did they use them for our girls, they even washed them.. TOTAL SURPRISE!! Our girls were WIPED out from all the playing and love and attention, not only from the staff, but from the other "campers" (aka dogs). I TOTALLY recommend this place. They treat your babies like their own❤️
We boarded our two dogs here while visiting my parents at the coast. Really cool spot and the staff is sweet and patient. Our dogs came home tired and happy. They played well!
The quality of care that my Bella girl receives atTail Waggin Ranch exceeds all my expectations and has from day one. Rachel and the staff are so genuinely loving and I always know my baby will be taken care of! It’s not the building that makes the business but the staff itself. The Ranch is Bella’s home away from home and with that I find great comfort. Thank you so much for all that you guys do! Bella loves her some Ms Rachel some kinda good🤗. Sincerely, Jen and Bella Helfrick
Brought my husky in for the weekend was promised he would be able to play with male dogs he was NOT neutered so he was kept in his crate for basically his stay, they bathed him which is cool but since I’ve had him back he’s been in his crate and he flinches at at everything and won’t let us touch him
I absolutely loved the care and the responsibility the staff has at Pawville. It was my puppy’s first time being away from my husband and I and the staff was so good about sending pictures, daily reports, and having a live camera on Athens. She was even able to have her toys and blankets with her as comfort. She was a very happy girl and I had peace of mind knowing she was loved 🥰
My dog Scout really enjoyed his first day here thank you so much ♥️ I've never seen my dog so happy he has been going here for a while now and he absolutely loves it. Thank you to all the wonderful workers at Pawville ♥️ Update Been going here now for awhile months but not quite a year and he totally loves it!! He loves ALL HIS FRIENDS AND THINKS THE STAFF ARE PAWSOME 😊💯😇
Awesome facility! Super clean and well-maintained, all staff is very friendly and well trained. Report cards are top notch and I love knowing what my dog is up to! Definitely will board my pup here again!
They take such great care of our dog. The daily reports they send with photos are really nice. Finding a place that you trust your dog with is really tough, but these folks are wonderful.
We love bringing our dogs here! We have 2 bigger dogs and they can be a handful for sure. We have been boarding our dogs here for almost 2 years now. You get daily updates and pictures of your dogs and it’s a great peace of mind. All the workers seem awesome, especially Mike! He’s always very helpful and friendly!
Pawville has always been a great place to take our dog Bella. We were out of town with my husbands family when Bella had an emergency on a holiday. We ended up telling the Pawville staff to take her to the vet. Mike (Pawville employee) took her to the vet and kept us updated on everything. He also sent us pictures. Mike did a great job communicating with us. We couldn’t ask for a better experience. Highly recommend Pawville and their incredible staff.
Best place ever to board your pet! This is the 2nd time I have boarded our mini dachshund with the Jacksonville, NC facility. I cannot express how well this facility is. From making our reservation to picking him up everyone was very professional. We looked forward to our daily “Report Card” and loved the personalization that was put into it. The pictures were by far the best! They made us laugh daily. If you are on the fence about boarding don’t hesitate with them. There were even a few pics of our dog with staff loving on him and that showed me how much they actually care for your animal. So Thank You for loving on our “Buddy” we appreciate you! We will be back for sure during the upcoming holidays!
Pawville is awesome. I will definitely use them again. Milo had not been boarded before. He was not traumatized at all. He was happy and VERY clean when I picked him up. I got a report everyday with pictures. AWESOME. We will be back maybe for daycare too. Milo likes playing his pals at Pawville.
My almost 1 year old Yorkiepoo absolutely LOVES Pawville! I started taking her when she was just about 5 months old and truly credit her being well socialized to Jacksonville Pawville. Being someone that travels quite a bit, it eases my mind so much knowing my pup is in good hands. All of the staff is so kind and goes above and beyond to make sure she is taken care of. The daily report cards are a huge plus. Check-in and out is always a breeze. I can't say enough good things about this place!
We boarded our 8 month old dog for the first time and I was so overly worried and guilty from pregnancy hormones. She had also not been socialized with other dogs for a few months. She spent 3 days and 2 nights at Pawville and I was so relieved to get daily report cards of her enjoying her time and loving her new friends. They did the nail clipping add on service great and she was in zero rush to leave with me and get home. I could tell through report cards and pickup that the staff was sincerely caring and love what they do. 10/10 recommend
Most of the dogs were in kennels or pop ups. Leads still connected and no water? So essentially your paying for daycare means they get put into a pop up so they don't need to watch the yards and actually do the job they were hired for. I will not be returning and I definitely will not be recommending this location to anyone. *** RESPONDING to your comment back Jason *** just because you don't find me in your system doesn't mean I never walked into your establishment. Can't you accept poor reviews VS getting so defensive? Just except your business is poor. And as a state employee I would never work at your establishment so no, I'm not a former employee. And again, I'm informing potential clients to WATCH cameras again stated I have plenty of photos and of coarse I can post photos why wouldn't I be allowed to post photos on GOOGLE?! I didn't know you own Google? Lol . Your establishment is poor just except you didn't get a good review. Please stop being a key board warrior. And I can reassure you your back of the building is still the same and nothings changed so please stop lying to make yourself sound good on Google.
We take our 2 dogs here, sometimes weekly. The staff is very friendly, and they are reasonably priced (this price is going up in summer of '24 but still affordable, especially if you buy bulk packs). I do like that they have cameras to see the dogs too. Deducting 1 star as their weekend hours are not a real "daycare." We were informed that on weekends from like 10am-4pm there are no workers and the dogs are instead just in a kennel. Our previous daycares we used in NJ had normal daycare on the weekends where the dogs were out and playing.
Love this place! ❤️ This is the only place I will go to when I travel from New York to visit. Dan the owner, Laura & the rest of the staff are very kind hearted people who truly care about the dogs. Highly recommend bringing your dogs here! They truly do make you feel welcomed & they care and that's all I can ask for! Thank you Dan for your service & for everything you do!
Traveling out of state is never easy when you need to board your pup, but A Dog's Dream had been an excellent choice for us. They made sure our dog, Journey had a good week, paying her lots of attention because she obviously missed her human family. Roxanne especially was knowledgeable and was great in answering my daily checking in on Journey. She was the best! Even checking out was a breeze with friendly people. All in all they made our vacation and hers less stressful and enjoyable. We will be sure to come back again and have recommended A Dog's Dream to local friends.
Nobody watches my dog in the yard when I leave him. Never coming back here the management has gone to nothing recently and there’s never consistent staff. Grooming is horrible have had several friends complain to me.
I love this place! My puppy goes there everyday of the week while I work. The staff is always nice and they know my pup by name. I trust them because he is happy going in and wags his tail and is excited to see the staff. When it is time to come home he is so tired from a day of fun. He has a chance to play with other pups his size. I can tell he has had a great time and they spend time with him as well and I feel he is safe. I remember when I decided to sign him up there and they did a meet and greet just to make sure he would be able to get a long with other dogs which means they care about everyone's pet and their well-being. I don't know what I would do without them, thank you for taking care of my fur baby.
We have a mini golden doddle and yesterday was his first time going to A Dogs Dream. Manny did an excellent job on his cut! everyone was so nice and we could not be more happy with our experience. The place was nice and clean as well. Jax and his parents thank you all so much!
Boarding my pup overnight was a breeze. They did a good job of bathing her. It wasn’t that expensive either. I will definitely be returning when I need to again. Had an easy experience with a shy but hyper doggy.
We are currently at a pet industry show in Vegas and while visiting a booth my Bulldog noticed a man holding a giant orange monkey toy. I asked the booth rep how we could get one of the monkeys as my dog was staring intensely at the gentleman holding it. She told us it was the last one but she could send one with our order. The gentleman walked over and gave it to my dog. I looked at his name tag and it was the owner of A Dog’s Dream. Dan, thank you for making my dogs day. He loves the toy and your kindness means so much. I can tell you the owner of this company really loves dogs to give up such an awesome toy that I’m sure his dogs would have loved to make my little Bulldog so happy.
We've taken Gidget to A Dog's Dream for grooming and boarding over the past 6 years and always received 5 star treatment. Would highly recommend both services.
I can’t say enough good things about Brie! She took care of my golden retriever for three nights, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such capable hands. My pup is prone to seizures, but Brie was incredibly attentive and made sure he was well cared for every moment. She provided regular updates, which truly reassured me while I was away. It was clear that she not only followed his routine but also made time for playdates, keeping him engaged and happy. I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. I’m so grateful for her dedication and kindness. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your furry family member like their own, Brie is the one! Highly recommend!
I recently had an in home groom with owner and groomer, Bri. She did an outstanding job with my energetic doodle! Despite my dog's challenging behavior, Bri handled the grooming with patience and skill. The results were fantastic, and my doodle looks happy and well-groomed as I wanted. Highly recommend!
Best pet sitter ever! Bri is great with my maltipoo who is diabetic and requires insulin shots 2x daily. Upon pickup after 5 days away my pup was the happiest I've ever seen. She didn't seem sad I was gone because she had a great time with Bri being loved on like one of her own. If you looking for a trustworthy honest and compassionate pet sitter Bri is 5 stars.
Brianna is the most impressive vet tech ever. My senior fur baby was in need of injections every other day to help her with failing kidney functions. She went the extra mile with treats during injections to keep my baby's attention off of the needles. She was so loving and compassionate not only with my baby but us senior parents as well. Grooming is an added treat our dog receives regularly. This company is #1 all day everyday.
When my groomer told me that my 14 yr old dog, Little Boy Blue, was becoming very difficult during his grooming and it was taking two of them to get the job done I was very concerned. I knew that he was having difficulty and just driving him to the groomer was stressful for us both. Blue has lost most, if not all of his hearing and a great deal of his sight. I have been told by the veterinarian that he probably has doggie dementia. I knew the grooming experience had become very traumatic for him. I brought him home on that day and immediately made contact with Bogue Breeze to discuss the issue with Brianna. She said that she could work with Blue. She said that she was doing comfort grooming for older dogs that could no longer go to an outside groomer. The first time she worked with Blue she groomed him right in his bed on the floor in my living room where he was comfortable. Brianna has now groomed Blue three times and he has made it to her grooming table and is doing very well. She is very patient with Blue and uses a calming voice with him. If you have an older dog that is having difficulty I highly recommend her. If you are in need of a groomer or sitter for your dog of any age I recommend her. She has really made the whole grooming experience less stressful for my little guy. Blue seems so much happier and I am a lot less stressed about getting his needs met. D.J. Tant
Bri has come to our home now 3 times to groom our standard poodles and has done a great job! Having the anxiety removed of dropping them off somewhere where they stay 3-4hrs, in crates, with tons of other dogs etc., is a priceless service. She is amazing with senior dogs and young dogs and her passion for what she does comes through. If you are on the fence with having someone come in your home just try it. I promise you the security of being able to witness whats going on and sparing your dog from a stressful environment and separation anxiety outweighs everything.
We recently had Bri watch our dog while we were away for a week. Bri took such great care of him!! She was great at sending updates and photos and worked to find the best time of day and amount of visits to help when he started getting anxious for our return. Definitely feel good about having Bri pet sit again for our next trip!
Bri provided in-home care for our dog and two cats during our recent vacation. We loved the peace and mind of knowing our animals were in great hands, and that our dog didn’t have to be boarded but could remain home. Bri is very professional, knowledgeable and energetic. She even made friends with our semi-feral rescue cat! Outside of boarding, she also provides grooming services for our old english sheepdog. We’re so happy to have found someone that will provide in-home care that we trust!
Bri is undoubtedly the best at what she does! I am very blessed to have someone I can trust and depend on to take care of my fur babies. I have 2 very weird dogs and she comes, pet sits and walks them and they absolutely love her.
Bri comes to my home regularly. This is such a plus for my dog, Roxy, because she gets nervous going to the vet. Bri is so kind and loving and helps Roxy to relax. Bri is also very professional with trimming nails, cleaning ears, etc. I plan to use her pet sitting services in the near future and I 100% trust her abilities. So glad we found Bri!!!
We’ve sent our dog here multiple times and it’s always a great experience. Our dog gets shy and a little anxious, and the staff always makes sure to keep him as comfortable as possible. We are grateful for the effort to help him feel calm!
Love 4-Paws! Always feel confident that our dog will be well cared for. The 4-Paws staff go out of their way to keep us up to date on how our dog is doing. Even send photos. 4-Paws is a very professional and caring place.
This was my dog’s first time going to Four Paws Inn and he enjoyed it! I was really pleased by the service front desk provided. The girls were very polite and professional. I loved how I received a report card on my dog Rocco after he received his exit bath and nail trim! I’ll definitely be bringing my dog back.
Terrible! These people care more about a dollar than customer satisfaction! When I dropped my cat off to be boarded on Sat.11/30/24. I informed them I would pick her up Sunday 12/8 or Monday 12/9. I left RDU airport Sunday at 4:15pm on my to Greenville to get to there 6pm. I called 5:52pm and told them I should be there by 6pm. When I arrived at 6:01 pm a car was driving off. I did speak to another employee she said the receptionist was gone. I said I called and told her I was coming. Do you mean to tell me she couldn't wait a few minutes after 6pm. I rushed to try to get there but stop lights happens. I wanted my cat with me tonight. This was my 1st time with them and my last!
I have 2 beautiful dogs that are foster fails. Rosie and her daughter Teddy Bear are treated like Queens when they go to 4 Paws. From the front staff to the bathers and groomers. The girls came out happy and eager to show off their new hair and nails! They look great and smell great! And the price is more than fair for the happiness it gives me and my wonderful dogs. I choose Four Paws.
All I’m aware of is Pixie had her nails clipped as asked. She seemed fine. No shaking from being afraid. Normal behavior at home just very happy to see us.
I hate not being able to take my dog everywhere. I found myself needing to be out of town for a wedding, my vet suggested Four Paws. I was very apprehensive, my dog is a rescue with high anxiety. She was with them almost 48 hrs. She seemed happy, I called to check on her while I was gone...it was no doubt a pleasant experience. I will use them again!
I have brought my senior Persian cat to four paws many times and he always comes home so handsome. Recently I brought my newly adopted rescue dog who is not use to being bathed and they did a wonderful job with him. They were able to work with him to get him comfortable and he came home looking, smelling and feeling great. You could tell he felt better. Always a great experience!
They take good care of your pet with loving care! I would not take Alamo my small dog any where else!🇺🇸 …
I am so grateful to 4 paws Inn for taking such good care of my baby Onyx! He had a great time and apparently behaved himself very well lol. Please check them out if you need to board your fur baby!!
