As I read their application along with their reviews, especially the one from Vanessa, I also had a feeling that I didn't want to miss out. Even so, I had a 20 minute WhatsApp conversation with them before confirming and I immediately felt comfortable. I couldn't be happier with their stay in my home. Our communication leading up, during and after their stay was excellent. They fully understood what was expected of them and asked the relevant questions. They were a delight to meet and I was able to fully relax to enjoy my travels as I had complete confidence in them. Marcella bonded with my black, male cat, O'Neill, the loner who hunts and doesn't have much to do with humans, my highest compliment to her. Upon my return, Mika, my older cat, was meowing at the bedroom door where the couple slept, looking for Stewart and Marcella, who had left. Another bravo ! Trixie, the youngest, obviously very happy as well, as she was calm and content. Everything was immaculate upon my return, which I greatly appreciated. They were considerate and knew I would be very tired and jet-lagged after my long voyage over 7 time zones. I would highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to have them stay at my home again.

We have enjoyed all our house sitters and have always been very happy with our experiences but David and Carol are the best. Absolutely lovely people, totally brilliant with the animals and really capable of managing our giant dogs. On top of this, the house was spotless. We will definitely be hoping they come again, could not recommend highly enough.

Sylvie agreed to the sit which was really short noticed. We had a WhatsApp call beforehand, and I had immediately a good feeling with her. We spent a nice evening chatting before I left and showed her around. She loves cats and I could feel her good vibes. She sent me regular notice of how it went. Jordi even came to pick us up on our return home at the trainstation while Giovanni was cooking dinner for us . What could we ask for more, such a great “welcome home”. Joanne was so wonderful the first sit with our puppy, we invited her back again and would have her back anytime. Marley just loves her so much, and you can tell she really cares for the dogs she sits for too. He’s happy, well cared for when we return, and really misses her after the dog sit. We have peace of mind while we travel knowing he’s in good care. Our home is also spotless on arriving home. Would highly recommend!

Very adaptable and responsible.
We had the pleasure of spending a few evenings and days with Mary and Tim before we went on holiday and it was genuinely a real pleasure - they are both so lovely, warm, friendly, engaging and interesting, we knew our dogs and home would be in super safe hands and we were right. They kept us updated with how the dogs were doing (lots of cuddles and walks) and we came back to a house in perfect condition, happy content dogs and even dinner waiting for us, with sheets washed and a lovely card to thank us for the stay (when we should be thanking them!). We can't recommend Mary and Tim highly enough - they are lovely people, self-sufficient, caring, considerate and funny, with big hearts and a really positive attitude. We'll be inviting them back as soon as we get an opportunity. Thank you Mary and Tim - you're the best!!

Gerry & Peter - Mature retired couple who love animals and enjoy gardening
They arrived in perfect time and listened well as I walked them through the needs of each animal. The herd are elderly and two needed some special care, including one who needed a little bathing of her eye with a cataract every day. They were confident and gentle with her, and all the horses and cats were relaxed and happy when we arrived home. The house and horses yard and barn were wonderfully cared for and clean, and the veg garden well tended and also well harvested, with much of the harvest put to the freezer, all of which was really appreciated. I am very grateful to these two wonderful people for keeping every one of the animal family happy and relaxed and loved. Highly recommended.

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

Kyle was a great house sitter and pet sitter for us. We had a good dialogue prior to him sitting for us, and we also did a short walkthrough the week before. Kyle formed a great bond with our dog Charlie and also took good care of our rabbit Poppy. A couple of minor issues came up with systems in our home due to an unexpected power outage, and Kyle was quick to connect with us and then was able to work 1:1 with the service providers to resolve the issues. We look forward to working with Kyle again.

We had to leave in a rush for a family emergency and really didn't have time to prepare the house as we usually do, but Judith took all in stride, leaving the apartment spotless. Tom was the PERFECT pet and house sitter. I went out of town for a while after my dad passed, and I had a few pet sitters bail before he came in for the rescue.
