Frank and Patty were initially our choice for a sit that was to have happened two years ago, but a hurricane caused that trip to cancel. They were available for a trip fortunately and we were excited to have them. They are a couple that seems to enjoy adventure and trying new lifestyles, having lived on a sailboat in the Caribbean and now living on a large trawler houseboat between sits. I wish we'd had more time to hear their stories because it sounds fascinating! They were very flexible and able to arrive the night before we left so we could introduce them to our house and property, and give them the details of the dogs routines. They kept us informed of everything during our trip. When we returned, the house was cleaner than when we left! They went above and beyond by even doing the laundry AND making the bed! I could not have asked for better sitters- the dogs clearly were well kept and happy, and barely noticed that we were gone I suspect. I am so glad we were finally able to have them sit for us and wouldn't hesitate to invite them again.

Our dogs were well looked after and we got daily updates on how the dogs were doing. Prashant is very knowledgeable and gave us a few strategies to combat some negative behaviors that we were seeing with the dogs. Could not recommend them more. They will be missed.

Tom provided a last minute sit when my 2 week long trip got extended to the 3rd. The previous zeewoi sitter was no longer available for the 3rd week, and Tom came in as a savior. As requested, he started his sit a day prior to the posted dates (thank you for being flexible). He met the prior zeewoi in person, since I was not in town, and got to know the house and cats quickly. He sent pictures of the cats each day and added a note about their well being. He was independent and was able to figure out how to use the litter genie on his own. I returned to a clean home and healthy happy cats. They are personable and kind, organized and communicative, and most of all excellent pet sitters. Kelly and Chris are attentive housesitters. Carolina was a fantastic Pet sitter. From the beginning, it was straightforward to communicate with her. She met us before we left our trip and ensured she understood all the house and pet logistics. Luna and Cal were very comfortable with her and were best friends with her fast. She was very affectionate with them, and Luna and Cal loved her and were very happy with her. Carolina was very responsive and sent updates. She was really lovely and easy to communicate with. She was very respectful of our space and very tidy. My fur baby Baldrick has been a regular at Mila's Bed-N-Biscuit for 6 years now, and we couldn't be happier. It's a rare thing to find a business that not only takes care of business but treats you like a friend like owner Mila and long-time employee Kerry do. I know that sometimes they get overwhelmed with boarding requests like every great business with competitive prices during peak hours, and they do their best. I wish they had unlimited capacity, but that's impractical. Every doggie should experience the love and care that Bed-N-Biscuit has to offer. It's tough being the best sometimes!
Our second time using the Bed and Biscuit to board our two dogs. The owner and employees are really nice and great with the dogs. They did a wonderful job and were happy to cater to our raw dog food needs by storing it in their fridge/freezer. Our dogs always come back to us healthy, happy, and exhausted.

This is my dog's rating. She's excited when we arrive at Bed N Biscuit and can't wait to get inside the gates. When I come back to get her, I often find her running in one of the play yards with several other dogs. If the temperature is in the 90's, she'll be inside in the A/C. My dog tells me that she really enjoys this place. She is never reluctant to go back.

Taylor at Per Sitters has been watching our big boy Eggie on a fairly regular basis including trips. Vacation Station Pet Resort exceeded all of our expectations during our first time boarding our 9lb dog, Odie. Since he had always stayed with family, this was a big deal for both him and us. From the start, the staff made us feel comfortable by giving us a thorough tour of the facility before we even brought Odie in. Their professionalism and warmth were clear from the beginning. The place itself smells amazing and is even more beautiful than the photos they post online! They took exceptional care of Odie, letting him out 4 to 5 times a day, and he even got a nail trim during his stay. Honestly, I thought he might be upset or anxious when we picked him up, but he came out happy, relaxed, and clearly well looked after. Knowing Odie is in such great hands, we now feel confident about traveling more often!
We had an amazing experience with Pet Resort and Mrs. You!! We went on vacation while we were gone, Hurricane Helene hit us. She and her staff took care of our Joy and reassured us everything was OK. My pups LOVE Vacation Station! Let’s start with the property and facilities: 1) The property is beautiful and every trip we see deer visiting the property roaming free enjoying nature. 2) This is by far the coolest set up for a kennel I’ve seen. Every kennel has its on indoor and outdoor area, so I never worry about my dogs feeling cooped up. Across the back of the property are individually fenced spaces where the your dogs can run and play. I have one intact male so he never gets to enjoy the company of others anywhere (for liability purposes) but here he can enjoy the fun of running fence to fence and getting nose to nose with his neighbors playing on each side of the fence. Next, let’s talk about the owners and staff. 3) Everyone is amazing and so kind. The owners live onsite in a house next door, so they are very near to the babies. They are always walking the property cleaning up and nearly every item you walk in the building, it smells clean and fresh. They take amazing care of my pups. And last, 4) let’s talk about their baths. My pups typically get a deluxe bath when they visit, and they are by far the cleanest I’ve ever seen them. Dobermans are known to shed profusely. My pups are shiny, smell amazing, and probably have a week or so of next to no shedding. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone! I know for sure my pups will be cared for and tired when I pick them up.
Great place to kennel your furry for any reason. Staff is really good with dogs. Experience was more than I hoped for. My girl even got to play embassador of good will for another scared dog. This was my girl's first stay away and she was perfectly comfortable when I came to get her.
Took Ash & Putoneya for a day try out. They received a bath and nail clipping. I was very pleased. We will be back. The premises is very clean. In the woods which I like a lot. This is an update. It was our first time being away from our 1yr old Boston Terrier. He is our baby in the family. Other customers dropping their dogs off assured me that VS was a great place...and I learned that it is! I got updates (including pictures) from the owner and full report once I picked him up after a week. He did awesome, and staff was friendly and informative. I'm glad I found a safe place for my dog to stay when I'm unavailable.
The owner and staff are very responsive. The facility is very clean and didn't have that kennel smell, if you know what I mean. My dog was well cared for...and probably a little spoiled...during his stay. I told the manager that he likes apples. She replied that she has an apple every day and would be sure to share it with him. 😊 This place came highly recommended by my brother, and they did not disappoint!

A few weeks before Christmas, I began searching for a place where my pitbull could stay for a few days. Having never used a kennel or any boarding services before, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, after checking out a few places I was taken back by their cost and how much attention they'd give to my dog. Most places were $25-35/day and would only play with my dog for 1 hour a day... otherwise they'd be in a crate. However, when a friend recommended Lois Lane I was relieved to discover that not only was Lois less expensive than others, she also kept the dogs in a home-like environment. No crates! While it was a bit out in the middle of nowhere (at least to me), I would take my dog there many more times. I highly recommend her services!

Bonnie is absolutely fantastic!! She saved the day for us when we were going out of town for the 4th and didn’t have anyone to watch our dog. She went above and beyond to make sure our girl was comfortable and happy. Our dog has social issues and takes a long time to warm up to new people and Bonnie was so flexible and patient with our pup! Bonnie is amazing. I have a pup who was abused prior to living with me and so is extremely frightful; so much so that I was worried that I was going to have to give her back or never be able to take a vacation. Bonnie took several hours to come visit me well before I left my pup in her care just so they could get used to each other. Their first day alone together wasn't the greatest, but Bonnie didn't give up. Her patience paid off in the end and they are now thick as thieves. I am eternally grateful for Bonnie. I love the way she operates her business and the piece of mind I have because of her. I cannot recommend her enough.

Daytime Dogs has taken care of our greyhound in our home while we were on vacation and now we are having them do extended walks, twice a week, with our 2 greyhounds. Chuck and Hailey and Brooke are so professional and knowledgeable, that we instantly felt comfortable with them caring for the dogs. They follow up on every visit and stayed in communication with us when we were gone. Maybe even more importantly though, our hounds Janie and Tripp love them. Chuck and his team have taken wonderful care of my 3 dogs on week long vacations and weekend getaways. I received texts and pics from Hailey while we were in Hawaii which helped put my mind at ease. They were able to handle my high anxiety dog, and give him his medications. When we had a foster dog, both Brooke and Hailey kept certain dogs separated that didn't get along. I felt comfortable leaving my dogs with them, and they did a wonderful job!
What a wonderful company! Daytime Dogs took such good care of my kitty and worked with me when I had last minute changes to my schedule. Lauren and Susan sent the cutest pictures of my boys and spent extra time just loving on them. They were so happy and I never had to worry about them. Highly recommend Daytime Dogs & Friends!
Daytime dogs is absolutely amazing. Chuck and his team are top notch! Last year, we moved to Gainesville and looked for a dog walking/pet sitting service for our border collie. She's a bit wary of strangers, but Chuck charmed her during our first meet and greet. He's done both dog walk visits and cat sitting visits for us. There's always a detailed note of how the visit went and both our pets love him. It is a relief to be able to go on vacation, or a long day trip and be assured that our pets are being well cared for. I cannot say enough about Chuck and Daytime Dogs!
Daytime Dogs and Friends has taken care of our basset hound since we moved to Gainesville almost 2 years ago! They have been wonderful and have accomodated all our needs, from our dog's schedule, food needs, and last minute requests! Chuck has been wonderful to work with, and I would recommend him to anyone. Daytime Dogs and Friends provides wonderful care for our cats. We have.rescue cats.that are very fearful of people and we were very concerned about leaving them but thankfully our veterinarian told us about.Chuck and DDF. Over the last two years we have depended on their service several times and each time our cats were cared for by Amy and she has provided wonderful.care for our feline.overlords. It is very nice to receive texts updating us how they are doing.and knowing they.are.well cared for in our absence.
We had to hire a dog walker in a hurry due to changes in my boyfriend's job leaving him unable to come home at lunch. Daytime dogs was very accommodating in setting us up with a dog walker quickly. Brooke takes care of our pups, Duke and Bella, and I couldn't have nicer things to say. She loves and cares for our puppies like they were her own, and invests a lot of time and energy into getting to know them and providing the best care for their personalities. They are both puppies still, (very large ones might I add) and she is fantastic with them. They have been walking MUCH better on the leash ever since Brooke came along. Definitely highly recommend their services!
I've been using the Daytime Dogs dog-walking and pet sitting services for over 4 years now, and I can't say enough good things about this company. They are very professional, courteous, trustworthy and conscientious, and my dog Perri just adores Chuck! When I'm out of town and have to leave her behind, I feel so much better knowing that she is having a wonderful vacation of her own while being treated like one of the family at Chucks home. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for 5 star accommodations for your pet.
During my 3 years in Gainesville FL, Daytime Dogs (Brooke and Chuck) were literally lifesavers to me and Lola, my now 5 year old Havanese and by the time we were leaving, helping with our little Zoey (Lola's little sister,who started off as a monster Havanese puppy). We initially tried another service per online reviews but definitely not any good; switched to Chuck and Lola's care was exceptional. I knew she was upset before, having accidents and with my full time Pediatric Hematology Oncology job as a physician in fellowship, I was gone LONG hours. Chuck and Brooke NEVER hesitated to help in any way they could, even with my frequent additional/cancellation visits. Brooke took care of Lola like she was her own pup, knowing when she wasn't herself, scared of thunder, needing vet attention (before I did) and providing general love, care and kindness. Brooke went above and beyond for both Lola and Zoey in many ways. Zoey was a 2 pound large monster who broke crates her first few weeks home; Brooke would improvise and create safe spaces for her as I could not be home. Chuck was also so sweet to my girls. He is a fantastic personable and reliable person and I would trust him with my fur babies ANY day. I can't say enough positive things about Daytime dogs and Chuck and Brooke. We were SO sad to leave Gainesville only because of these guys (otherwise we really disliked gainesville FL). They took care of my girls as they would their own and my two very anxious and peculiar pups at times, were always comfortable and happy.
I HIGHLY recommend Daytime Dogs for your pet sitting/doggie daycare needs. I have been a part of the Daytime Dogs and Friends family for a couple of years now and I can't priase them enough. They are thorough, compassionate and continuously go out of their way to make me and my furry babies happy. My pups look forward to Brooke's visit everyday and tend to get a little sad on the weekends when they do not see her. (YUP....THEY ARE that GOOD) :)

We have been taking our big rescue "Hank" to Nicoles house for about 5-6 months, so i can give an accurate review now. Nicole is so amazing with Hank and his care. I think shes a dog and "all animal" whisperer since she can take care of any animal. She is also so loving and can take care of any situation that may arise. Hank was sick once and she went above and beyond to take extra care of him! Hank jumps out if my car and runs straight for her door every time i drop him off, so i know he loves it there. She also sends me so many wonderful pics and videos throughout the day when the animals are resting. Nicole will also honor any special requests you may have, and you can trust she will do whatever you request. She also has a huge fenced in, safe, backyard! And she can offer so many great extra services like a bath, grooming, pickup, dropoff, etc. I cant say enough but I highly recommend Nicole to everyone!
The owner and proprietor of this organization was terrific. She was attentive to my pets, followed the instructions that I gave her and was very sweet with my pets. She sent me pictures of my pets and gave me updates on how they were doing.She even clipped my dog’s nails . I would definitely encourage my best friends to use this service. I feel totally confident in her Veterinary Assistant and pet sitting skills .

Nicole kept my dog overnight, she was knowledgeable and friendly. Her house is set up nicely for pet sitting, with a system in the backyard to let your dogs have supervised/separate outside time. I’ve struggled with pet sitting services since my dog used a cart, but this was something she took in stride. I received updates and photos, her communication was excellent. I will book again, and would recommend her to my friends.

I have a reactive dog who can't participate in play groups but Pet Paradise offered boarding where he still got playtime with staff 1-2x a day and I loved that. We boarded our dog while on honeymoon so it was over a week and they took great care of him. He was a happy boy when we picked him up. Would recommend! Pricing is very reasonable as well.
I use Pet Paradise in Fleming Island and everything is fine there. I boarded my dog at the one in Gainesville for four nights. I was not pleased with the situation. I never could find him on camera. He came home in a daze and started crying at night and having rampant diarrhea. He also had exudate in his eyes. Something wasn’t right at this facility. I’m not sure what it was. I booked it weeks in advance and had an indoor outdoor spot but at the last minute, they moved him to tiny town, which is for small dogs because they were too full. I suspect he did not have much time outside or much human interaction. It was over a holiday, but I won’t use this facility again probably. He took about a week to recover.
Hannah has been grooming our dogs (almost 3yo) probably about two years now. Not only does she do a great job with the groom, but she is so kind and patient with our guy that gets a bit too excited and needy. She is the best!
They took an excellent care of Brooklyn!! They were very sweet to my baby and did a great job reassuring us about leaving her for couple days!!!

Our dog LOVES Honey Paws. Taryn is so wonderful with the all of the dogs and provides an excellent place for them to stay and play. The rooms for the dogs are so much better than the crates at most boarders. We would whole-heartedly recommend Honey Paws to anyone looking to board their dog.
Taryn provides the dogs a safe and loving environment. Our JRT always has so much fun when he goes for a couple days when we are out of town. There is a large enclosed area for the dogs to run around, dig and play. Plenty of trees for shade. Each dog has his own room and aren't in a kennel setting. We love Honey Paws!
Honey Paws is the BEST for many reasons. It is the best deal in town for dog boarding and dog day care. Taryn, the owner, has a large fenced in yard that is shaded for the dogs. Our dog LOVES to dig holes in their yard. Taryn has dogs of her own so your dog will never have to play alone. Plus when it gets too warm outside there are air condition rooms for your dog. The rooms are large and your dog has one completely to themselves. Taryn is amazing and very easy to work with. For example, our dog has sensitive skin so Taryn has a t-shirt for her to wear. I cannot say enough good things about this business and the owner! One suggestion - book early during the holidays because she fills up fast!
I boarded my English Bulldog for the first time during the Holiday season with Taryn and had a great experience! She was very easy to keep in touch with during my vacation, very reasonable and I could tell that my dog just had a good time while he was away from us. I loved how it was on a farm and just felt like a good environment for my English to be in. I highly recommend using her and we will be going back 😀

If I could give more stars than 5 I would. Denise and Christine took care of our large and diverse pet family for a week after our pet sitter of many years recently moved away. The idea of having to have someone new come over was worrying because we have a lot going on and it’s not an easy task. Denise and Christine are AMAZING. They took time and patience to gain the trust of our very old and grumpy chihuahua who gave them hell the first few visits along with juggling multiple other cats, dogs and a indoor/outdoor pot belly pig. I got thorough reviews after every visit along with cute pictures and updates on each individual pet, they kept the house tidy and even took out the trash can to the road on recycling day. My old dog required medicine 3 times a day which made me really anxious but they even sent pics of him eating it so I could rest assured he was getting what he needed. They loved every single one like their own and I couldn’t be more thankful and impressed. We have definitely found our new pet sitters and now have no reservations about going away knowing our children will be loved and cared for while we are gone. Thank you so much Denise and Christine along with Bad to the Bone - you are top notch with the service you provide and I highly highly recommend.
I hired bad to the bone twice to care for my mini horse Fitzgerald. They always do a great job and follow directions. Bonus part is you can see the visit and where they walked which I love since exercise is critical to my horses wellbeing.
Doug was the best ever! he is so compassionate with the dogs and so calm with their owners. he kept us updated and sent pictures and solved problems on excellently. Can’t say enough good things! thank you Doug for driving my pups across the country.

Bad to the Bone was recommended by another pet sitter and I'm glad they were. Caitlin, Mandi, and Melanie did awesome job taking care of our chickens while we were gone for vacation. Getting messages with photos of our girls and the completed care activities, which really brought a peace of mind while we were gone. I highly recommend them for your pet care needs, even chickens! We've already booked them for our next vacation.

Best pet-sitting service ever! They have so many options - every need can be met. We hire for the half-hour once a day. Amber is our local pet-sitter, and she is the best! Full reports every day that are a delight to receive. Don't hesitate to hire them.
I can’t say enough about the wonderful and totally professional care given to my pups by Christine for an overnight stay while we were out of town. My dogs loved Christine and she loved her time with them as well. Three little terriers can be quite a handful at times but Christine managed the house and them with ease. At the same time she managed to keep in touch with us about the dogs and send us amazingly adorable pictures throughout the stay. It’s comforting to know your babies are receiving such good care and we will use Bad to the Bone again soon.
Have used BTTB and Doug Keeling since we first arrived to Jacksonville in 2016. They’ve been there and have helped us and loved our pets like we do - through sickness, health and death! They’ve always “been there” for us, and for each of them, through thick and thin. They’ve called us in the middle of our vacations to let us know that we had a very sick kitty and Doug personally has sat for hours at the vet with our kitty to make sure he got the best care. Doug and the caregivers each followed up for several days after we got home to follow up on Loki‘s and then Moki‘s health And treatment progress. They’ve taken Salem for her beauty come outs and trim treatment and taken her, Rocker & Sampson for nail trims (that’s quite a price cess with our three dogs). Will continue with BTTB until all pets have passed on. Give them a try - you and your pets - will appreciate it.
I don’t typically leave reviews but Ella and the team at Bad to the Bone are truly the best! After using them once, we immediately booked them for our next trip away. Ella treated our pups like her own!
