Providing Pet Sitting in the Ashley, Ohio
A loving, trustworthy traveler who can't wait to spend time with your pet!
Rachel took wonderful care of my cats for the three weeks I was traveling. It was her second sit for me. It was obvious from the photos she sent that they love her and feel comfortable with her, and knowing they were in such good hands allowed me to really enjoy my trip. Rachel is a clear communicator and left my house neat and tidy. She is also a kind, smart person with good vibes—I had a nice time chatting with her while getting her settled and oriented in the house. If you have a chance to hire Rachel as a sitter, don't hesitate!

Reliable and responsible remote worker excited to meet you and your pets!
Dan did a great job. Our home was as clean and tidy as when we left. The pets were well cared for, including our old cat who can be difficult. Dan has very good communication skills and kept us up to date. I would recommend Dan to anyone needing someone to care for their home and pets.

Santiago Daniel and their family did an excellent job sitting for my pets. We have horses chickens and very active dogs. They did not have a lot of experience with horses, but followed instructions well and took excellent care of them. The house was spotless when we returned. The plants had all been watered and all the pets were happy. We had issues with communication as I did not have service where I was. They managed very well when they were not able to get in touch with me and make good decisions. They were extremely responsible, polite, and very respectful of our home. We are hopeful that they enjoyed their sit and would love to have them return in the future. you won’t be disappointed having Santiago And Daniel watch your pets

Two public educators looking forward to taking care of your pets and home
Best sitters ever! Melissa and Corey arrived before I left and when I walked out my cat looked at me like “you still here?” I was clearly no longer her favorite human. I returned to a spotless home and a spoiled cat, as is her right to be. I hope Melissa and Corey pass this way again!

Experienced House & Pet Sitter
Leanne was a great house and pet sitter. My husband and I recommend her services. She was not only gentle and caring with our rescue pup, Kali, but also did an outstanding job taking care of our home. Leanne was highly communicative before, during and after her visit. As she lives locally, we appreciated that Leanne was willing to do a pre-visit to meet our dog and talk through the basic household needs. We found Leanne to be thorough, competent and highly responsible. We appreciated her daily pictures and updates. We returned to a happy pup and a spotless house! It's comforting to know that a thoughtful, friendly and kind-hearted person is caring for your pet and your house!

Josh and Jenalee did a wonderful job with the dogs. The communication with the was easy and seamless. They were not shy to give updates and send pictures even though it was not asked of them. The dogs all seemed very happy. They went above and beyond with the tidying up of the house. If they were ever in the area again and we happened to need a sit we would not even second guess going with them again.

Kate was an absolute dream and was the best pet sitter I could have possibly asked for! Kate was extremely trustworthy, communicative, and reliable, and provided frequent updates while I was away. She left my apartment spotlessly clean and even took the initiative to fix my wobbly towel bar. Finally, Kate took excellent care of my cat Daisy and I came home to a happy and content cat! Kate was amazing all around and I would be thrilled to have her sit for me again at any time. Thanks for everything!
Angela did a great job caring for Willie for 10 days while we were out of town. She was easy to communicate with and kept us informed about Willie, along with sending photos of him out on walks and at the beach. Angela was very accomodating when we needed to come home a day early - Thank you! The house was left in good shape and it's clear that Angela is organized and reliable and clearly loves her pet charges. I'd recommend Angela and will definitely include her as one of our top sitter choices in the future! Thanks again, Angela!
Not only did Krista take great care of our cat while we were away, she left the house cleaner than she found it. She also kept in touch with occasional photos and videos of kitty antics, which gave me peace of mind that the cat was well-cared for. We definitely recommend her as a house and pet sitter and would ask her again in the future!
Tom provided a last minute sit when my 2 week long trip got extended to the 3rd. The previous zeewoi sitter was no longer available for the 3rd week, and Tom came in as a savior. As requested, he started his sit a day prior to the posted dates (thank you for being flexible). He met the prior zeewoi in person, since I was not in town, and got to know the house and cats quickly. He sent pictures of the cats each day and added a note about their well being. He was independent and was able to figure out how to use the litter genie on his own. I returned to a clean home and healthy happy cats. Would love to have Tom return and recommend him to anyone leaving their pets in his care.
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
Monique was very nice and easy to schedule with. She sent us pictures of our dog Maisie while we were away, which we enjoyed seeing. Maisie was well cared for and had gotten plenty of exercise by the time we got home. The house was spotless, which was lovely to come home to! She had taken the trash and recycling bins out, even though we hadn’t mentioned them to her before we left. She made sure to let us know if anything was amiss so there were no surprises when we returned. Would definitely recommend her as a pet and house sitter for others. :)
Laura was an exceptional, reliable, and loving sitter for our goldendoodle Scout, and took such good care of our home! Scout was excited to meet Laura immediately when she arrived at our home for this sit, and showered Laura with all the hugs and kisses. Scout has recently been having issues with seizures, so for this sit I was specifically looking for a sitter who had a depth of experience with giving medication and responding calmly in the event of an emergency. It was a big relief to be able to entrust Scout to Laura's capable and kind hands, and it was extra special that Laura's beloved vizsla had shared the same name. Laura is wonderfully easy to communicate and coordinate with, and was thorough in her care of our home. We came back to our garden looking great, house left in even better shape than I left it to Laura, and a very happy Scout! I cannot overstate how much we appreciated Laura's care for Scout and our home, and heartily recommend her as a pet and house sitter. If you're lucky enough to get on Laura's schedule, your pups will be with the most wonderful stand-in dog mom you could have hoped for!
Melanie and Steve were excellent house & pet sitters. They sent me so many pictures of my 3 cats without me even asking and it made me so happy to see them enjoying their company. I'd say out of all the house sitters I've had, they spent the most time with my cats which means a lot to me. They are kind, easy to connect with and I'd welcome them back anytime. As far as caring for my house - top notch.
5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Tyler, THANK YOU for allowing us to enjoy a few nights for the first time in a decade! Dean & Diana Smith
For our first experience with a house sitter, Jim and Julie have set the bar high. We felt totally confident that any issues would be dealt with, fortunately there were none. They were outstanding house and pet sitters whom we would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone. They took exceptional care of our house full of pets from 2 large dogs, 3 cats, snake, gecko, fish tank and a koi pond. They provided updates daily, were very easy to communicate with and the house was just as clean as when we left it, with the addition of a nice welcome home gift. We knew our pets were in good hands. Thank you for everything. Melissa and Kyle

I imagine this kennel is fine for some but unfortunately Luna and I had a bad experience today. Luna is a ~7-8 year old rescue. She has moved with me to 3 different states and been in at least 6 kennels in 4 different states over the last 6 years. I travel a lot for work so she's kenneled every few months. In summary we are familiar with the boarding process :) She goes with me to family and friends as well as dog parks and has never had an issue. "A" report cards at every other kennel. She is well trained, won't take food from your hand without a release, come, stay, sit, lay down, shake, etc. Delaware Pet Stuff is the closest Kennel to my new home so I had hoped to board her there. They have a rather unique process before boarding. They require you drop your dog off for an "assessment" which you have to pay for. After the assessment you have to have your dog back on one or two more "day care / training" days (that also cost) before you can board with them. The location was convenient so I was willing to give it a try and dropped her off today for her assessment. To be clear they failed Luna for basically aggression. It's their right not to board my dog (which I respect) but it worries me what situation they might of put her in to get this reaction (specifically a reaction I have never seen before in countless similar situations). They said she wouldn't listen to them, wouldn't come, growled at other dogs, and chased another dog aggressively. Its hard for me to envision my dog acting like that unless maybe another dog was aggressive towards her. I guess dogs can react to unique situations differently. I assume it happened but my concern is why. At pick up they said this can be normal for "pit bulls" to get over stimulated. Luna is about the size of a pitty (70 lbs) but every vet she has been to said she was an American Bulldog. She gets excited but within 5 minutes is the laziest dog I have ever owned. She doesn't get up or bark when the doorbell rings as an example. I did tell them she gets excited around cats or small dogs (not aggressive, just excited) so maybe that contributed? I guess it has to be a fit for both sides and sometimes it doesn't work out. The lady I dropped her with was very polite as was the person that I picked her up from. I declined to meet with their "trainer" as I didn't see the value in debating about my dog considering they already rejected her without a discussion. They do have a cool fence with bubbles the dogs can look into the parking lot. Obviously not a fit for us and we already have an appointment at her normal kennel that loves her.
Our dogs have gone to daycare here several times and seem to really enjoy it. The staff is great and you can tell they really care about animals.
I went to have my dog's nails done. He was very good and very gentle with all three of them. Even my woolly one didn't mind having his nails done too much.
I have taken my dogs to this business over the course of about 2 years now for various services-grooming, daycare and boarding. I have not had bad experiences with the daycare or boarding, my issue is the grooming. I currently have a goldendoodle (about 65 lbs) and a shih tzu mix (about 15 lbs) and they are both just over 1 year old now. My dogs are very kind, loving dogs and they behave pretty well in whatever situation I throw them into. Their first appointment for grooming here was in May of this year, I remember them saying that Tucker had a hard time with the appointment (he tends to be a little shy and this was his first grooming ) and that Charlie had a hard time as well (he had been groomed at least 3 times prior) and they recommended that I bring the dogs in every 2 weeks for baths to get them used to being there. I dont know about anyone else-but no one I know takes their dogs in every 2 weeks for a bath.. Their next appointment was in June, they said they both had some mats but that they overall did very well with the appointment and I was very happy with the way they looked. (Different groomer) Their next appointments were September and they said the dogs did awful. She recommended that my little dog have medication when he comes in and to bring him in every 2 weeks to get his nails trimmed because he peed on himself when she was doing it. They also said my doodle did awful and he was so scared of the dryer. (same groomer as first appointment) Honestly, after this appointment I was ticked and I did not want to bring them back for grooming anymore. However, I scheduled them an appointment about a week and a half ago for them both to come back for grooming today at 9am. When I got there, the groomer was grooming anther dog and just stared at me like "why are you here", then proceeded to put her mask on and come to the counter. She asked me who I had today and I said I'm here for Charlie and Tucker's grooming and she said I dont have them on the schedule today. I asked why and stated that I made the appointments online. She said I rejected them because I already had 3 doodles today and I wouldn't have enough time to get them all done. So I said "ok so when can I bring them in" and then said never mind because I was so angry!! I drove all the way there, with my dogs, took my dogs inside, back out to the car, back home and I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED THAT MY APPOINTMENT WAS CANCELLED!!! I'm sorry but if you have a business, you need to communicate better with your clients. Needless to say, I will NOT take my dogs there for ANY service and I already booked another grooming for them. I was going to give them a FOURTH chance but this was the icing on the cake for me. I understand some people have great experiences here, but we have not.
Took our cat Benji in for a haircut. I thought that they did a good job but Ruby didn't like the back of his head so she trimmed a little off. We waited while he was being done since it was a 35 minute ride there. We forgot to ask for a bath so he was done pretty quickly and the price was only $70.00.
Long Story Short: Apparently when I showed up at 10:50am this morning for my 11am appointment, I was told my appointment was at 9am. When I went to pull up my confirmation I was quickly told that they have had "many" issues with my dog being groomed. I have taken my dog to this groomer since I have had her (6 years now) and have NEVER had a bad report. In fact, she has gotten so good about it, she has started letting us groom her at home so I only take her in about once a year for a full groom with all the works and pay extra. The groomer they assigned her to today however, has never wanted to do her when we bring her in as a walk in to do her nails. Today I was told multiple stories about having some video (that I nor my husband) have ever seen that she was flailing around on a table and over the bar about to hurt herself. I asked to see the video and they told me that it was a few months ago (my dog has not been here in over a year) and they no longer had it. Finally when I was talking with the groomer she said she showed it to my husband who picked her up last and when I said he didn't she then retracted and said 2 young girls maybe my daughters had picked my dog up the last time....Um no, sorry I only have a 9 year old daughter. They couldn't show me any video or proof that my dog was the issue however the groomer mentioned many MANY times that my dog may hurt herself so I decided it was probably a good idea NOT to leave my beloved pet with someone who may hurt her. I was able to look at my records of the loving video her last groomer left of her very last groom.
Our 10mo old babies (Pug & Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) have been going to Delaware Pet Stuff since they were 7mo old for daycare & socialization per recommendation from my sister. This weekend, they had their first slumber party and it was such a relief to pick them up happy and feel they were with familiar faces, loved & well cared for while we were away. I love when we get report cards and details about their visit. Our Cav, Bow, doesn’t get too excited (barking, whining, talking, etc.) unless we say “Do you want to go play with your friends at school today?” and then she goes nuts! Happy going in and happy coming out. I’m also hoping for help with training in the future because they can be CRAZY 🤣🤦🏼♀️. Thank you so much for your patience with this nervous dog mom and taking good care of our little fur kiddos!
I've been using the daycare and boarding service for a few months and I would highly recommend them. My pups are well taken care of, when we took vacation for spring break my mind didn't worry one time if they were okay, we even got update emails with pictures on how they were enjoying their own little vacation. Even after the trip I see myself using their services to just give our pups play time with their friends.
I have been taking my dogs to DPS for 4 yrs now, daycare, boarding, bathes they do it all. Stuff is very friendly. When the dogs are waiting at the front door of the house because they want to go to daycare I know they are treating them right.
This place has always been 5 stars and I have used their services for years and years for my dogs and my cat, people are very friendly and great groomers! So I got a new puppy yorkshire 4.5 lbs and took him there for his 1st groom at 9 weeks old. I went to pick him up and a very unhappy young woman brought him to me, and said he was very wiggly and was acting scared and it took 2 people to groom him and that I should have got him used to grooming before I brought him there,I was like ok....but he is 9 weeks old and I just got him? Just a very strange experience. So the next 2 times I take to a different groomer and then he was doing much better being groomed as he got older so I made a online appt thinking it would be ok to take him back, but then I got a very surprising phone call from the same unhappy groomer asking if I had taken him to another groomer since he had been there, because if I hadn't his fur would probably be to matted up for them to handle, I then said yes, he has been to the groomers and his hair was not matted at all. Pause...ummmm I still think we better not do it because of how he acted last time...you mean when he was at your place at 9 weeks old and 4.5 lbs? So you are saying I should find another groomer? Umm yes, that's would be best!! LOL omg that was the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I said fine and hung up. Later I thought mabe the owners would like to know about this seeing as the unhappy girl had just cost them money and future money! So I emailed them and guess what? They never even responded!! Not sure if the employee got to the email 1st and deleted it or that the owners just didn't care, which is hard to believe, because they had always been so nice but I just don't know!
We've used Scales Tails & Paws for years, having them check on our kitties when we go out of town. Everyone has been great. Morgan especially has had a great bond with the cats and I love the updates with pics!
We had Scales Tails and Paws watch our 3 cats over Christmas. Our oldest cat was 20 with diabetes and needed insulin twice a day. This team did such a good job taking care of our cats. I knew the oldest cat wouldn’t do well with us gone. He did end up getting sick, and Ingrid brought him to the vet for us. He unfortunately passed away, but Ingrid was there to love him through it. I am so thankful they were there for our old boy in his final days when we could not be. I highly recommend Ingrid and the crew at Scales Tails & Paws, especially if you have special needs pets.
We have been using this service for almost a year now for their dog walking services. It’s been smooth sailing from the get go. I love how you can book/request online easily. Communication has always been quick, efficient and clear. I feel very safe with anyone from this company coming into our home to walk our dogs, it’s usually the same two people but if it’s ever someone else they give me a heads up. To note our two dogs are large and tend to be a little wild so managing both of them can be a lot but they have never complained about caring for our dogs and have been able to manage them fine. In fact they tell us how much they have enjoyed them! My favorite part is the update with pictures they send to your phone after each visit. We don’t have a consistent need because we have odd work schedules but they have the option on their website to schedule consistent walks daily or weekly. Easy customer website portal to use, very user friendly. Would recommend to neighbors, friends and family to care for their pets! Pictures in post are pictures from updates they have sent me.
As I was recovering from surgery we used ScalesTails and Paws for our dogs daily morning walk. Morgan is the best. He was very attentive to her needs and by the last day she was giving Morgan kisses. I loved that Morgan even sent pictures and a recap of their walk each day. It was such a huge help to us each day .
These people are the greatest. As much as I hate to leave my fur babies when I travel, I 100% trust these people with my dogs. They always share pictures of my dogs from their visits as well what happened with each dog during the visit. I highly, highly recommend this company 🐾🐾🐾
We love ScalesTailesandPaws! My husband and I just moved to the area and needed pet care. Ingrid (and team) came highly recommended. Our pets love their visits and updates. Thank you!!
We have been using Scales Tails & Paws for the last few years. We usually have them stay overnight with our furbabies when we're out of town. They take great care of them and treat them like their own. We love that they keep us up to date and send us pictures while we're away!
Thank you for the fabulous care you provided for my boys! When I got home from vacation- they were bright eyed & looked great! So wonderful to see their “report cards” and pictures everyday! Adorable ❤️I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that Ingrid & her team were watching my boys. Thank you a million!!!
These guys are the best! Every single dog walker they have sent our way has taken such good care of our dog, I never have to worry. They always send me fun photos that always make my work day better too and my dog loves them!
We love Ingrid and her team who take such great care of our furkids. We've used STP's services over 15 years. They've done a great job adapting to all of our pets' specific needs over the years.
Ted and his crew are so enthusiastic and reliable! There's no one I trust more to board my dogs with. This is the first year I've needed to board my dogs, and thanks to the great care they provide at Happy Tails I've been able to take multiple extended trips without so much anxiety for my beloved pets. They love coming to stay and play on the property. Happy Tails also has great resources for training opportunities. I can not recommend them enough if you're looking for pet care. The rates they provide are incredibly fair and affordable, and Ted is very friendly and personable!
Our dogs love Happy Tails! So thankful for the care they receive when they are there. Our Mastiff rescue can be hard to work with, but Ted has done great with her. We consistently recommend Happy Tails to the pet owners in our life. Picture of our girl enjoying the beautiful weather.
5+ stars! Happy Tails exceeded my expectations, and gave the most amazing care for my three dogs while we were gone for 5 days. Ted was very personable, and provided updates during their stay. Each dog was handled with care, and was able to enjoy their stay— which meant soo much to us! My pups were nice and exercised, and comfortable! Ted was amazing to work with :) Highly recommend, and will return for any day camp or boarding needs!! This place deserves more stars!
I LOVED my first experience with Happy Tails! My dogs were happy and didn’t seem stressed when I dropped them off as well as picked up! Super pleased with all the cuddles they got and the long walks and play time they had while I was gone. Definitely recommend this fine escape for your pups!! 🙏❤️❤️❤️ …
Happy Tails has been a lifesaver for us and there is NO OTHER " home away from home" I would want our big boys staying at. Our Golden Pyrs are going on 3 years old and were not social but after a lot of research we decided to try out Happy Tails. Ted was so helpful and welcoming, gave us a tour and answered all our questions. He's a big dog lover, which is important, and very knowledgeable about their behavior. He was confident that they would do well with doggy daycare (playtime) so we tried it out. Never thought we'd see our pups mixing with other dogs so we were AMAZED to pull up and see them running around and having fun in their play group. They love Ted and love having playtime and group walks. He loves our boys like we do. It's hard enough when you have to leave your pups for a week at a boarding place, but you can feel good knowing that they will get that love, fun and attention at Happy Tails. Surely gives you peace of mind. We just got back from an 8 day vacation and the boys were bathed, happy and in good spirits (which totally wasn't the case with our last boarding facility). Ted sent us pictures while we were gone of our boys having fun and was available if we had any questions. We're not afraid anymore of leaving our boys because we know that Happy Tails really is their "home away from home" and they are loved. Would give 10stars if we could. Try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.
**Amazing Dog Boarding Experience! Highly Recommend!** I can't say enough great things about Happy Tails. There are plenty of other boarding places around, but we drive an hour round trip to board our dog at Happy Tails. The staff is very friendly, professional, and passionate about animals. They took the time to get to know my dog, ensuring they understood his specific routine and needs. The facility is clean and spacious. My dog loves the indoor outdoor kennel run. It gives me such peace of mind knowing he is being well cared for while we’re away. What impressed me most was the attention to detail. From ensuring my dog had his favorite treats to making sure he was comfortable and getting good exercise, they went above and beyond. When I picked him up, he was happy, healthy, and clearly had a great time!
I can’t say enough good things about Happy Tails! The facilities are top notch - clean and well maintained, designed with dogs in mind, plenty of space with each kennel giving dogs plenty of space to run in/ outside. Our Kings Charles is always excited when we turn in the driveway. A special shout out to Ted, the owner and his team. The genuine care of the dogs is evident in everything they do. Going above and beyond to ensure that the dogs feel at home. It’s comforting to know our cavi is in such capable and caring hands while we are away. Highly recommend Happy Tails to any dog parent who is looking for a reliable and loving boarding option.
Cheryl and Jim, Our dogs are family, so when we go away, we want to feel confident that they are safe and well taken care of. We have found that place in Happy Tails. Their cages are clean and the runs give our dogs the choice to go outside when they want. As they acclimate, the dogs have time to get to know their neighbors and interact with them. They are observed to assure that they all get along safely and enjoy this togetherness immensely. The dogs also have opportunities for various activities. In this country setting the dogs may be taken for long walks in small groups. This gives the animals more opportunities for exercise and socialization. The dogs are always being observed for their comfort or any issues that might arise. When we return to pick them up, they are happy. I would definitely recommend Happy Tails for your peace of mind and your animals well-being.
My eight year old pup, Neville, has loved his time at Happy Tails! We have boarded him a handful of times and he has been so well taken care of. He loves the interacts he has with the other dogs, and the time Ted and the staff spend with him. The ease of the indoor/outdoor runs means Neville is in a similar environment to home. We will be using Happy Tails often in the future!
My pups have been vacationing here for years! It is truly a home away from home. The facilities are clean, safe & well maintained. The dogs are treated like royalty. Their staff is the best. My fur babies go wild as soon as I turn onto the driveway. Thank you Happy Tails for loving my dogs & giving me peace of mind.
I have been boarding dogs with Sue for over 20 years. My T Fine Kennels is the only place I will take my dogs too. My T Fine Kennels is the only place that can cut my one dogs nails. Our vet couldn’t do it they wanted to sedate her and asked when we boarded her if they were able to if not I understood why if the dog wouldn’t cooperate. Well when I picked up the dogs her nails were cut. They always take great care of our dogs. I know when we leave our dogs with Sue and her staff they are in good hands.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Definitely do *Not* recommend training nor board & train here. They communicated only a couple times during our dogs stay there, weren't able to train them (literally less than 1yr old puppies!) & said they were afraid of them (because they were anxious pups that looked for hand signals (asl) to tell them commands, which freaked them out, and bc we were having reactivity problems at the time.) They even told us they highly recommended killing our beloved, smart, kind, playful, sweet pups because they didn't know how to train them. And made sure to tell us this in front of children. Can't stress enough to be wary. (We took our time in choosing Sue & her training partner too; believing that they were properly trained for all dogs/types /training needed.) Never been more disturbed, nor disappointed.
I was looking for somewhere to board our 1 yr old Berner Bruno, I came across My-T-Fine Kennels. I and made the decision to try it out due to raving Google reviews and I'm glad I did. Sue and the staff truly care about the animals and I love this is locally owned. Not to mention Bruno is one happy customer when he comes home! Thank you for all you do for our pets!
A Truly “TRUSTWORTHY” Kennel! The groomer did a phenomenal job with my dog! I really do recommend this place to all of the pet parents out there and including the President of the U.S.A!
We’ve been bringing my dog here for about 2 years now and I give my highest recommendation. The owner is phenomenal and really cares. My dog is normally a picky eater and the staff goes out of her way to ensure my dog eats, she enjoys her time outside and does very well here for being a dog selective dog. She gets her own playtime and always comes home like she’s been enjoying her time outside. This is a family owned business and unlike any other in Columbus, because the dogs have their own indoor outdoor areas and a huge grassy field to run in. After boarded my dog here for several years, but I would highly recommend even doggie daycare.
Sue has been a wonderful friend and safe space to many animals of mine and my family's for years. You can really on her kind and down to earth approach. My dog is safe here. And that means the world to me!
Fantastic staff and facility! Suzan is very friendly and excellent with the animals! Their large runs and option for additional play time/day care while boarding is comforting knowing that my dogs will be well cared for and happy while away from home. My german shepard came home very happy after a 4 day stay here. They did a nice job on his wash and nail trim as well! Will definitely be back! Thanks My-T-Fine!
I've only had one experience, but it was a very good one. Found myself in Ohio for an unexpected funeral. We travel with our 2 dogs and staying at a hotel wasn't a challenge since we have been doing that since they were 8 weeks and now they are pushing 5 years. Anyway. We, I wasn't thinking about the fact I would be wrapped up for a good portion of the day and started to panic about what I was to do with my pups all day. Found My-T-Fine and gave them a call. They were able to accommodate my kiddos at the last minute for a day in doggie day care. Susan was extremely pleasant and took great care of my dogs. Greatly appreciated!
Sue and her staff are great!! Kind and caring with the dogs. They want nothing more than happy healthy pups running free. Stimulated minds and busy bodies.
Great place. Staff that likes our dog Smokey Sue is great!
I just picked my dogs up today from a 10 day stay here. We had our 3 dogs boarded here for 10 days. This was our 1st time boarding our dogs anywhere. We are so happy we chose Premier Boarding, our girls(Taffy, Roxy and Moose) were well taken care of and happy when I picked them up. The staff couldn't have been nicer, they answered every text I sent promptly and sent pictures when asked. Their prices are very reasonable and I was happy all 3 dogs could stay in the same suite together. I will not hesitate to use the facility again. Thank you all so much for taking such good care of our girls!!
We love going to the dog park on the property, very close to home. I love that they provide agility obstacles my dog enjoys them. They maintain the park well, the only downside is there’s never anyone else there.
I cannot say enough good things about Premier Boarding. Both my daughters and I have all boarded our dogs there and always a great experience. On our last board, we received a call from the kennel that they were concerned with our GSD & potential urinary issues. We immediately picked him up & took him to the emergency vet. He had a very serious issue that came on very quickly. If it were not for Kay and her staff being so attentive to the dogs, particularly while they were outside, this situation could have escalated downward very quickly. Fortunately, our dog was attended to very quickly and had some pretty significant urinary traact surgery to correct the issue. Premier Boarding truly is the best!
Wonderful place to take your dog children! Excellent and real outside space!!! Outstanding staff and my grand doggies are SO HAPPY to see their doggie friends… They bark and so long as they know we are headed to see their doggie friends!!! Wonderful place they truly cares for the dog people!!! 🙏🌏🌻🦋☮️
My mini schnauzer looks and feels fantastic. The place is clean. They went out of their way for us and are much appreciated.
Angie is fantastic! Our German Shepherd has never looked better after being groomed! We will definitely bring Lexi back.
The absolute worst experience ever. I was already so worried to have my dogs boarded for the first time and this was the worst place I could have chose, I had to ask someone to go and pick my dogs up because I was worried for their safety. They wouldn’t answer calls or texts, I asked before leaving my dogs here if they would be able to do 1 phone call a day and one photo text message a day they said “yes no problem, call around 5:30” I waited till those hours and nothing, 2 days without them responding to a text message. Don’t tell your customers you can do something that you can’t. They gave my dog canned food without asking me. When messaged that they were being picked up early we got a nearly immediate response just stating the price we owe. Wanted to support a local place and just ended up very disappointed with this whole experience. Editing to say a response back. I saw your response to Kayla’s comment and it was still very inexcusable, don’t tell your customers you can answer the phone and texts ( a text takes two seconds and can be answered at any time of day) also I paid for the phone plan and I had service at any time of the day on my vacation.
2 cats, 2 stays for week-long and longer trip. The first time we left our cats here, my daughter was worried about being away from them, so they sent us pictures several times during the trip! This time, she wasn't worried at all despite vacation being nearly twice as long. They fed and cared for both my cats very well, and the shy one was comfortable and didn't lose weight during their stay. I couldn't ask for better care for them!
My husband and I are so grateful to the team at Premier Boarding! This was our first experience boarding our dogs, so naturally we were nervous recks after dropping them off! But the peace of mind the team gave us before leaving and seeing how happy our boys looked (happy and outside!) when we picked them up made us feel so much better about it all. We will definitely be using them again and totally worth the drive from Columbus!
24 hours after his 9 day stay at Premier Boarding Kennel, our beloved cat is dead, and I have to wonder... When I dropped our cat off, I was a little surprised by the loud cacophony of dogs barking, but I shrugged it off because we were about to leave out of town. Where else could we board short notice. I was asked who our vet was and agreed they could take it to the nearby vet if needed. I thought it wouldn't be needed right? Our cat had rarely shown signs of illness. We never received any calls about our cat's health. When we picked our cat up, we were told he didn't care for the food we left (the food he has eaten for most of his for almost 8 years). My husband thought something was very wrong watching him throughout the night and following day. As soon as he set out water, he started drinking very heavily like he had rarely seen. He also said he unusually stank terribly when we picked him up. He said he is breathing with heavy labor all of the way into his hind legs. He asked me to get him into a vet before the long weekend. I guess everyone else was thinking the same thing because I had to call many vets to find an opening. We were surprised when we were told he had days to live and had fluid surrounding his lungs and heart which was causing the difficulty breathing. He had congestive heart failure. We had to make the hard decision to let him go. 😭 Although perhaps this may have genetic roots and may have been coincidental, we still have to wonder, what exactly happened that 9 days, or maybe what didn't happen. What we do know is no one noticed he was sick. He was very thirsty. He unusually stank when returned. This much we know.
Jen is the absolute BEST!! I know our pups are safe and happy when they are boarded at Little Critters. In the past, I have boarded our dogs at kennels and it broke my heart knowing they would spend most of their time in a cage. Our dogs get tons of playtime and LOVE their stay with Jen!! Highly recommend!
We are very pleased with the care our dog received while staying the week with Little Critters Pet Sitters! We've used a few boarders over the years, but usually prefer our dog stay with family or friends. Little Critters gave us that home feel that we've been looking for! Jen and her family are very caring and provide a comfortable and fun atmosphere for the animals they look after. I felt like they really enjoyed having our dog and we will absolutely use them again in the future!
Jen was wonderful. I was anxious before this trip as it was a first for Cooper after his buddy Daisy crossed over the rainbow bridge recently. Cooper was very well taken care of and very happy and excited on his doggy cam. Very happy with Little Critters Pet Sitters LLC and will be using them again.
We have sent our little guy Rocky a few times for overnight boarding and absolutely LOVE Little Critters Pet Sitters! Last year when we boarded for the first time, we hadn’t crated our dog overnight and I requested he not be to maintain our normal routine. Jen was amazing and let him sleep with her daughter to help keep his normal routine! Every time we board, we know he’s getting more attention than he probably does at home and an immense amount of playtime! And her sincere love for her customers (both let’s and families) is unmatched! She has sent Rocky a birthday surprise (dog treats) and a little frame and treats as a thank you from our stay. I couldn’t recommend anyone more, especially if you’re wanting that extra TLC for your fur-baby!
Little Critters Pet Sitters was the perfect place to leave our dogs while we went on vacation. We enjoyed the piece of mind that comes from being completely kept at ease with periodic updates. Two things really stood out to us. When we picked up the dogs, one of them who has separation anxiety was excited to see us but ran back to Jen so we know she was treated right. Jen also celebrated one of their birthdays which happened during the stay. That was a really nice thing that she didn’t have to do. The dogs are happy and healthy and we’ll definitely be back!
Jen is amazing! We have used Little Critters for over a year for home visits and dog boarding for our 6-year-old beagle. She genuinely cares for her as she is her own and is a true animal lover. While away, she updates us daily with pictures and notes on how she is doing and is responsive if we have any questions or concerns. I can't recommend Little Critters enough!
Received Little Critters by a family recommendation and will pass it along! We got a new puppy the first of the year and were looking for some help with care since he couldn’t stay long alone. Jen is amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and goes the extra mile. We feel confident and care free when our dog is with her. He’s always happy to see us! And comes home with a bandana and a care package. :) She is organized and responsive. Our dog is a mini labradoodle puppy, about 30 lbs for reference.
My two boys had a blast at their stay with Jen and her family!
I highly recommend Little Critters. Jen checks all the boxes we were looking for in a dog sitter: • reliable, responsive, caring, and knowledgable host • comfortable home (not a kennel) • fenced in yard with plenty of sniffing areas for my hound My dog makes it very clear when she doesn’t like a place. I know she enjoys her stays with Jen because when we pull into the driveway, she leaps out of the car, says hi to the chickens, and excitedly heads towards the gate. Traveling is so much more enjoyable with the peace of mind I get from using Little Critters. We’ve also used the transportation services in the past, and it was worth every penny.
Jen, in a word, is AMAZING!! She has sat several times for our senior beagle, Triscuit, who has numerous health issues. Jen is so great at keeping us informed as to how Triscuit is doing (and sending wonderful pictures) and has been so flexible to Triscuit’s changing meds & diet. We are so happy to be a part of the Little Critters family! (This is one of my favorite photos that Jen took ❤️)
Jeanette watched my 17 year old cat for 5 days recently. 2x a day w/ medicine in a pill pocket. I am so pleased with the care and love given to my old girl during my absence. I received thorough descriptions, pictures and videos during each of these visits. Jeanette even brought wet cat food treats for her to try when I mentioned she wasn’t enjoying her current wet food, which she loved. The entire experience was so easy and comforting while I was away and would recommend Jeanette and her team to ANYONE looking for any care for their furry companions. She is incredibly kind and thoughtful and I would utilize her services again in a heartbeat. Thanks again for everything Jeanette!
Jeanette did a wonderful job the few times I had her care for my cat. Within only two visits she was able to coax my stranger-wary cat out from under the bed for pets and playtime. Communication was frequent and I received several cute pictures each day I was gone. If I ever move back to the Columbus area, I would book through Fur Star again in an instant!
I used Fur Star Pet Care for the first time last week when I went on vacation. I was nervous because my cat had never been left alone for an extended amount of time - I was gone almost 9 days. Jeanette provided excellent care for my cat, who tends to be particular about what kind of food she eats. Jeanette was patient and even experimented with combining two flavors of food together. Every day I got a detailed message about how she was doing, including multiple photos (I don't know how she takes such great photos, but what a talent!), how the "bathroom" was going (absolutely no issues there), and what progress had been made with my cat's level of comfort with her. By the end of the week, my cat was purring, playing a little, and eating fine, both regular food and treats. Jeanette also brought in my mail for me which I really appreciated and turned my living room lights on and off since I had lost my light timer. Also, the rates are very reasonable for the service provided. I can't say enough good things about Jeanette and Fur Star. What great service and I will most certainly use them again!
Fur Star Pet Care is a fantastic pet sitting service that I’ve been using for a few years for my cats. Jeanette is a wonderful sitter who genuinely cares about the cats. She sends several pictures every day she visits and provides very thorough updates. She has gone above and beyond for me many times when problems come up. For example, she has helped the cats stay warm when my heat went out and attempted to fix my sink when she noticed it was clogged. I can’t say enough great things about Jeanette and her business. I highly recommend her service if you are looking for a pet sitter
Jeanette has been taking care of our two cats whenever we go away since we moved to Columbus a year and a half ago. She has come to feed and play with them many times (including during one long research trip), and they absolutely love her. We have used lots of pet sitters in the past, and Jeanette is by far the best person we’ve worked with. We always come home to a clean apartment, watered plants, collected mail and packages, and, most importantly, happy cats. 100% recommend.
Absolutely the BEST in-home pet care you can get! I've had them come in to take care of my cat a few times while I've been traveling, and they do an amazing job of making sure my little girl has everything she needs, and then some! Daily updates, pictures of playtime and snugs, even an extra treat or two! I cannot give enough praise to Fur Star!
Fabulous pet sitting service. Jeanette is absolutely wonderful. I travel in peace knowing she is watching my little fur ball while I’m away. I have an older cat who has experienced some health issues, but Jeanette and Fur Star take great care of him. Love that I get daily updates and photos.
Jeanette has taken care of our two cats for three years. They have truly developed a special relationship, and I always feel confident that they will be well taken care of when we leave town for a couple of days or even weeks. Jeanette knows their personalities and treats them with great kindness. Recently when my wife and I had our first baby, Jeanette made sure to be available around the unpredictability of the event, and we knew we would find two happy cats to greet our new baby. And, we love getting the updates and pictures twice a day!
I love Fur Star! I have 2 cats (1 with diabetes who requires insulin injections) and they take great care of them when I’m away. Each visit is documented (including with pictures) and they update you on everything they do during the visit. The website is really easy to use to book appointments and to communicate with the owner, Jeanette (who is awesome!), if any questions come up. If you are looking for a pet sitter, Fur Star is wonderful and I highly recommend them!
Finding Fur Star to care for our cats has changed our lives - I know that sounds hyperbolic but it's true. The values that these ladies have when it comes to pet care is remarkable. They truly treat our animals as if they were their own! Directions are followed without fail and they always find ways to go over and above. I never would have thought I'd find peace leaving my animals to anyone outside of family but I have! Their sense of humor in the photo updates they give is such a fun sprinkle on top of already amazing pet care. Love them to pieces!
Our dogs have thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Pet Palace. We leave them for busy weekends while visiting town. It’s extremely clean. Staff is very caring and honest about any issues the girlies had. My daughter works at other animal care facilities and thought we chose a good place to leave them when she picked them up and saw the facility. Our one dog does get nervous, it’s her personality, but she is fine if we leave a Zesty Paws chew. Our other dog is nearly 15 and she bounces out of there like she’s been at a spa. Pet Palace is a great home away from home. It’s nice to trust them while we enjoy our time in Columbus.
No I can’t recommend as first time boarding here and a couple days into her stay they called to say our dog was sick! She ended up having an intestinal virus that she caught and I have zero doubt it was from there since she had no interaction with any other animals in a couple months prior. Furthermore, I specifically requested that she not play with other animals during her stay just to avoid any issues.
Just wanted to say that Lincoln had a wonderful time here and looks amazing. Thank you to the staff and Hailey for making this handsome boy so happy!
This was the first time my cat went to cat boarding. I had especially packed his toys and his blanket to remind him of home, so he wouldn’t feel nervous (his boarding was for a week). When we got back, I discovered that the blanket and toys were never placed with him despite the front desk worker saying they would. Even with the many other workers that went through his bag (that contained his food, treats, blanket, and toys) to feed him during the week, they never placed them down. I was extremely disappointed and sad since my cat was in a completely new environment and had nothing to remind him of home or anything to play with.
I knew my pup was in great hands as soon as we walked in the door! I have been taking my pup to Pet Palace pretty consistently for almost two years. This weekend was my first time using the Powell location. They were so friendly, kind, explained the necessary paperwork, and comforted my nervous pup when I dropped her off. I love that Pet Palace standards are high, and consistent with their locations. Thank you!!
UPDATE…the manager never returned my phone call. My significant other left a Google Review and then lo and behold, the manager calls wanting to discuss the Google review 😂😂 Avoid this place at ALL COSTS. They don’t care about your pet, they care about their business name. A warning to pet owners… We left to go out of the states 2 weeks ago and boarded both of our healthy dogs at Pet Palace on Gooding Blvd. They called me on day 11/12 (6 hour time difference) and told me that both of my dogs had diarrhea and wanted to give them Probiotics, which I agreed to, of course. A day later (yesterday) we picked them up and were informed they still had diarrhea (which they obviously picked up there because they had been there almost two weeks before it started). Wake up today and one of my dogs has a hacking cough in addition to the diarrhea. After a vet visit, we find out she has kennel cough as well as a bacteria in her stool leading to multiple antibiotics as well as probiotics. I understand there are risks to boarding but I also understand we as customers/pet parents have a right to know if there is a contagious illness our dogs are being exposed to. Here is where it gets interesting… I then called Pet Palace this afternoon to inform them and also to ask if other pets have been sick/others reported illness and the person I talked to REFUSED to answer my question and told me a manager would be calling me back. I gave them until this evening after closing and no one called me back, which is highly suspicious to me. I’d recommend if you have plans soon to board your pets there that you don’t because they obviously have more than one issue going on in their facility and they refuse to be honest with their customers. I’ve used them multiple times but they will never get my business again.
We had our two dogs stay there for 11 days because we went to Hawaii. Spent like $1k, both dogs came home with crazy diarrhea and kennel cough. Almost $500 in vet bills. Manager hasn’t called my girlfriend back. We will NOT be back. Someone else we know had their dog come home sick as well during this time frame. The place needs to take a break from taking everyone’s animals and clean the facility. Multiple people on our community FB page have sick dogs from there as well.
So overpriced, & they want you to pay for all of these extras. I had to take my dog here b/c I had to leave last minute. I used to board my dog at MyVet in Westerville, but they don't do boarding anymore. It's a shame because they were incredible & much more affordable than this place.
We had Panther and Josie here back in June (I meant to review then!).I was very reluctant to board. My husband assured me that he found the best place in the tri-county area, but I told him flat-out that I was going to check out the place for myself. If I wasn't happy, I would force him to cancel our trip. At first, I was skeptical because it was young people who seemed to be in charge. But, the girl at the desk was so nice and patient. When it comes to me and my black angels, one must have the patience of saints. This girl did. She let us stay there with them, making sure we were comfortable and they were comfortable. They dealt with me calling from a New York airport to check up on them where I could barely hear them and they could barely hear me. It is a little extra for them to have play time, but I wanted them to have that. I only wish the play area for cats was larger. Dogs get much of the space, it seems like. I could tell when we got J&P back, they had been treated well. They even got report cards. I want to thank everyone at Pet Palace for giving us peace of mind during our vacation.
This was my first visit at this location and my dog now has kennel cough and yes he always gets his shot! now before I go to work in the morning We are going to the vet as soon as they open which means I will be late for work to top it off I am so upset he has never been sick and never around other dogs the fact that he was exposed to it and got it there is very disappointing
