Pet Sitting in Ashmanhaugh

After getting let down at the 11th hour by a confirmed sitter, I reached out to Ian and Tracey who had saved my sit previously to see if they could help. Tracey responded very quickly and following a call the next day, we were able to confirm that she would do the sit alone. Tracey was extremely organised and communicative throughout and arrived first thing in the morning to ensure that the cats were not on their own for too long. She sent regular updates about the cats and the fact that they were more focused on getting in the garden when we returned home rather than having a fuss was a sign that they were very relaxed. We arrived back to a spotless house and milk in the fridge for a cup of tea after our journey. Unfortunately we did not get to meet Tracey on this occasion however I hope in the future that she and Ian can be tempted to sit for us again. I have no hesitation in recommending Tracey to look after your home and pets.

We really feel like we landed on our feet having Kimberley and Dean look after our ‘little boy’ Huw. We were newbies to having a house/pet sitter, but Kimberley really held our hand taking the initiative to set up an early meeting and responding quickly to messages. Meeting early really set our minds to rest. At handover we agreed every other day updates on progress which included a photo and a couple of sentences and this really helped us to feel much more comfortable that Huw was being well looked after. It was clear throughout that Kimberley and Dean had considered our profile details, taking Huw to some of his favourite places and also on some new adventures too … including introducing him to a Hollywood star! Their experience with animals, but especially dogs, shows and this helped hugely in understanding Huw’s personality leading to him having a great time - when they left it was clear that he was upset that his new friends were heading off. Kimberley and Dean took great care of our house which was left immaculately clean. Thank you both so much for befriending and looking after Huw.

10/10! A very pleasant, friendly and trustworthy couple. Lynne and David spent the evening with us before we went away and we thought they were such lovely people, and felt very confident leaving our pets and house in their care. They were able to put the guinea pigs out daily, the hutch got a good clean out too. My cat was very comfortably sitting with Lynne within minutes of their arrival. I can’t even begin to say how happy we were with their house sitting and we’ll definitely be asking them again in the future.

Wow, what can one say, Shay and Rick were brilliant. We arrived home to very happy dogs, horses and chickens, the garden had been watered and the house immaculate, nothing was too much trouble, I couldn't ask for more. A huge thank you from us all and I hope we might be able to leave the troops in your capable hands if we decide to go away again!

We had the pleasure of having Steve as our dog sitter for two weeks while we were on our belated honeymoon, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From start to finish, Steve was absolutely fantastic. He cared for our three dogs—a Cockerpoo and two Great Danes—with incredible patience and dedication. One of our dogs took a little while to settle in, but Steve handled the situation with endless patience, ensuring that all our pets were comfortable and happy. He walked the dogs twice daily, which was no small feat given their size and energy levels, but he managed it all with ease and professionalism. Not only did Steve take exceptional care of our dogs, but he also left our house in immaculate condition. We were consistently updated throughout our time away, which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy our trip knowing our dogs were in safe hands. Steve is a genuinely nice guy, and we would not hesitate to use his services again. Thanks to him, our honeymoon was even more memorable, as we didn't have to worry about anything back home. From the moment we met Ellie and Sean we knew they were going to be very conscientious and caring whilst looking after our dogs . Major, their own dog came to stay also . He is a well trained , easy going dog who blended easily with ours . Ellie and Sean have strong attention to detail and gave us confidence that they could manage Cillas medication and both her and Douglas’s routine . The videos sent regularly and photos illustrated how content the dogs were and how they had bonded with Ellie and Sean. Our home was respected and cared for . All my house plants were healthy and they helped to store our large crop of apples. We do hope to see Ellie and Sean again and think they are great house sitters !

Recently had the delightful Audrey complete a 2.5 week housesit in our home to keep our two cats company. Audrey kept us updated throughout her visit with regular e-mails. Our furry friends where happy and relaxed on our return and our home was immaculate. Our neighbours thought her wonderful. The added surprise of supper left in the fridge was a real bonus after our long journey home. I would have no hesitation in recommending Audrey and we would definitely love to have her sit for us again if our travel plans aligned. Thank you Audrey.
