Excellent place! We ended up having to cancel our trip literally 30 minutes after we dropped our dog off. They were so flexible and kind until we figured out what we were doing. Our dog was happy when we picked him up, everything was clean and organized.

Jeff and his team are incredible. Ellie loves spending time there when we have to head out of town.

Empathy Buckets of Empathy They Care about animals, its apparent when you walk up to the place. My two Puppy's actually like it there, we just come to get our Nails Did every few weeks on a Saturday. In N out 15 minutes. $20.00 for both and I always tip. Side Mission: theres an Friendly Alligator patrolling the place. (Its plastic) See if you can spot em.'

Jeff and his staff treat your pet as their own. They are friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. I wouldn't trust boarding my dog anywhere else.

Miss Sue has been taking care of my dogs since they were brand new babies. They love her dearly, and are always so happy to go see her! I absolutely trust her with their care!

We have boarded our King Charles Cavalier spaniel here multiple times per year for several years. They are remarkably caring for each dog, and note the details owners often get carried away asking. They worry even to making a special meal if the dog won't eat because of the strange surroundings. For group play, which our Lulu never otherwise gets to do, they match size and personality. The daily photos (time-consuming for them, but wonderful for the lonely owners) show the energy (unusual for our 'couch-potato' Cav.) and pleasure for them to play and chase together. Their compassion and concern are unusual even in a profession that demands it.

Sue does an amazing job taking care of my dogs. They love it. I won’t take them anywhere else.

I can’t rate Casey’s services high enough! We needed an in home pet sitter service while we were out of town. Our cat was very well cared for, his litter box and water dishes were clean, and she took time to play with him and give him treats. I would absolutely request Casey to care for our pet again and highly recommend her!

Casey is wonderful. She did a meet and greet with our dog first, made sure she got along with other dogs. She was able to watch her for a day just one week later and was really flexible with timing. When we picked up our girl, we could tell she was happy and she was way less anxious than when she is in the crate all day. I definitely recommend Casey for your fur babies!

Casey takes awesome care of my two cats! They are both quite skittish, but Casey has won their trust. She's been super at keeping the house looked occupied when I'm away by bringing in the mail, changing lights on/off, whatever it takes. I recently had to have unexpected surgery and Casey agreed without hesitation to check on the cats with only 24 hours notice. Definitely the best pet sitter I've ever had!

Best place ever. Only place I'll take my dog. She treats them all so calmly and like they are her dogs. Mine loves it there. They can run in house,lay on sofas or go out in the large yard and play. I called and needed to come extra early, she was so nice about it. I give her name to everyone. All the dogs running around and whatever time you go ,the place is always clean and spotless.

Great services. My dog was treated like she was in her own home. It was a wonderful experience. After going to Casey’s we will never go anywhere else. Traditional kennels are a thing of the past for our four legged family member.

After reading all the information on their website regarding their boarding services I reached out to see about scheduling just to be told they don’t do boarding? On the website alone there is information not only on dog boarding services but cat and exotics too. Unfortunate.

Very positive experience. They took great care of our two labs. When we picked them up both dogs seemed to have enjoyed their stay. Great grooming services. Have taken my great pyrenees here a few times now and always take the time to brush out his undercoat and mattes. Not just shave like petsmart always recommends.

I couldn’t be happier with our first experience with Big Hill Kennel. We had to leave our senior, nearly blind, nearly deaf dog for a few days. He hadn’t been boarded in years, and when he was, he was with his fur brother who had since passed. I was so worried I cried like a baby when I dropped him off. But they took the best care of him! I called every day and got detailed reports on how he was doing, and he was perfectly fine when I picked him up. I was so grateful that they really took special care of my old boy, and were so patient with this crazy puppy mom! They even stayed a little late on a Saturday so I could pick him up (we were running a few minutes behind). Thanks, Big Hill!

Max & Pita have been going to Jeff for 11 years. He does a great job grooming Max the crazy Springer spaniel! We also boarded them and know they will be well cared for. We highly recommend Big Hill Kennel.

This is the only place where I will bring our dogs for grooming or boarding. Our boxer, who is a 16 year old big baby, looks forward to her trips to visit Jeff. Normally when she gets in my truck she does not want to get out, as going for a ride is her favorite thing to do. She has literally jumped out of the truck when I open the door for her when we get to Big Hill as she's thst excited to run inside and see Jeff. In recent visits I've had to catch her mid-jump as that's too much air for a big, old dog! I have never once worried that she was not receiving the best care possible, whether she is there for a grooming or to stay for a week while we are on vacation. Simply put, I can not possibly recommend Big Hill Kennel highly enough.

The gentleman that owns this kennel has been my groomer, border, friend, advisor, and makeshift vet when my real vet is closed or unavailable. He groom's dogs, Ford's them when you go on vacation, and cares for them like no other. My fur babies are truly my babies and I would trust them to no one else.

Jeff and the crew are great with your pets. Air conditioned rooms and very clean. We've been taking our pets there for 20 years.

Great experience with grooming. My dog wouldn't let me do anything to him but they have the magic touch because my dog was always nicely groomed.

We picked up our Springer Doodle when she was a puppy. She was filthy, had diarrhea, and when we took her to the vet 2 days later, she had horrible earmites and parasites. They shouldn't be allowed to be in business

Excellent boarding facility. Staff is very friendly and all our dogs love Sue. They don't want to come home after their stay at the kennel.

I can't recommend Sue and Dream on Acres highly enough. We were camping with our dog Max but needed a place that he would be safe and happy while we went to a couple of places that weren't dog-friendly. Sue was VERY accommodating with our unusual requests for short visits. The facility is amazing. Max had a great time. He was so excited to be back on the second day for a couple of hours. I'll use Sue again if we are ever in the area again.

I have left my Chipin—Cocoa—at the Dream on Acres Kennel for both boarding and day care. Cocoa is a rescue and is leery of most people; however the first time she met Sue it was like Sue was an old friend. Cocoa is always excited when she realizes she will be staying at the Dream on Acres Kennel. I feel completely at ease when I leave Cocoa with Sue. Not only do I feel that. Sue. Provides.the best care for Cocoa, but at very reasonable rates.

We brought our dog here for 3 nights, and on arrival noticed how clean and organized the place is. Sue was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what dogs need to be comfy and enjoy their stay! We picked our dog up and he was happy to see us, but could tell he enjoyed his stay! Would go back to this place if in the area again!

Sue is kind, flexible, and thoughtful. I don't like boarding my dog, but when I need to it's nice to have someone like Sue who I can trust.

Bow Wow, Meow (Debbie and Roger) looked after our Teddy for the first time this month. It was a Wonderful experience for us and for Teddy too. We wanted to visit our new grandson in Germany and would be away for 12 days. We were apprehensive about leaving Teddy in a standard kennel for that long, but It helped a lot with our separation anxiety to know that Teddy would be getting the loving attention of Debbie and Roger. Deb made a genuine effort to make our little fur baby safe, comfortable and happy in her home. Knowing that they are available to give such great care to Teddy we are already planning our next trip…

Deborah has been taking care of my two girls (kitties) since I moved to Mechanicsburg a year an a half ago. I am military and travel ALOT for work on short notice. She never over charges me, has a key to my home, even brings in my packages and I have never asked her to do that.I trust her completely and would never consider going anywhere else. She sends me pictures of my girls when I am away, which bring me joy, and she goes above and beyond. She has gone to the store to buy floor cleaner to clean up messes (of course I reimbursed her) and on one trip away the piping froze and no water was running to the house so she brought it in. Can not say enough wonderful things about Debbie. She has been the best pet sitter experience I have ever had.

I cannot say enough about Debbie and Roger! They are absolutely wonderful caring people. I am over the top protective of my “Diva Yorkie” (Miah), and when I leave her in their care at Bow Wow Meow I know she is in the best care I could possibly ask for. It’s a wonderful feeling not to worry when I am away that Miah is protected, loved, and cared for like she gets at home. I highly recommend!

We were so nervous to board our dog since it was his first time away from home overnight, but after meeting Roger and Debbie, it was clear that our dog was in good hands. We received text updates throughout the weekend and loved that he had one on one attention. We will definitely be using them again!

Debbie and Roger often took care of our dog -Sasha - until they left NC. Since they moved to PA we haven't found a pet sitter that Sasha likes as much as she likes them. We miss them. They are caring and trustworthy, I absolutely recommend them.

My keeshond loves going to Musselman's! I have had great experiences with them. They are caring and friendly.

I absolutely love these people, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with our dog. They saved our dogs life, recognizing she was suffering with bloat. They acted quickly, got her an appt with an emergency vet and handled everything. They were in contact with me the whole time wanting to know how she was doing and they really, truly care about the animals in their care. I highly recommend them, you can feel confident that your pet will be well loved and looked after.

I highly recommend Elizabeth with Perky Paws Pet Sitting. While we were on vacation our 13 year old lab's health deteriorated. Elizabeth kept us in constant contact as to what was going on the entire time. She even agreed to spend the night and stay with Chester until we would arrive home the next afternoon. I can't tell you how good it felt to know that someone was there with our "son" loving on him and taking care of him just as we would have. Perky Paws service has been a blessing to us.

Elizabeth and Cody consistently go above and beyond. I've had a few last minute requests and they were flexible and accommodating. They send thorough updates and plenty of pictures. I completely trust they treat my Penny as their own pet. They let me know what they do when with Penny and how the visit went. I have cats too and I don't pay for services for them, but they sometimes with play with the kitties too - they send pictures of them too. Also, they have brought in packages on the porch and any literature left behind. I don't believe anyone else would provide such outstanding services. I'm very happy with Perky Paws.

My wife and I highly recommend Perky Paws Pet Sitting. While we celebrated a momentous occasion away with family, Elizabeth checked on our three Shubunkin goldfish, fed them, and wrote us an e-mail two days in letting us know all was well with our fish and our home. We had peace of mind for our five nights away and came home to a sweet personalized note right by our fish tank. Our "friends", as we affectionately call them, required less adjustment than usual from our absence thanks to the attentiveness, care, and compassion from Perky Paws.

We have been having Elizabeth from Perky Paws check in on our babies for the last three years. Hannah and Rusty love her. They get excited when we tell them Elizabeth will be here to see you. Hannah has a seizure disorder and Elizabeth is great to make sure she gets her medicine. We wouldn't want anyone else taking care of our babies.

My husband and I recently moved to the area. We were very nervous because we have two very spoiled special needs rescue dogs. We read great things about Cody and Elizabeth and we are thrilled to say that they have exceeded our expectations. They go above and beyond not just for the dogs but doing things that affects us all.

5 stars is not a high enough rating. Elizabeth adores her job and it clearly shows in her work. I had to travel extensively for work (on the magnitude of multiple weeks straight), and not only did Elizabeth meet the expectations set in her contract, but wildly exceeded them. What drew me to her services were the professional layout of her websites across all media platforms, the cost competitiveness of her services (boarding my pup in a kennel would have, in my area, been as or more expensive), and the fact my dog could be in the comfort of his own home while I was away. The first consultation was professional and loaded with questions I would have not thought to answer without being prompted; it showed me how thorough she is and how seriously she takes this responsibility. Although the first consultation eased my nerves significantly I was so nervous leaving my dog for as long as a did, but after the first few days I knew he was in good hands... Elizabeth sent updates (not to mention pictures!) frequently throughout my visit. My dog is near impossible to get a good picture of because he's loaded with so much energy (until he's thoroughly played with, when he's exhausted and finally sits still haha), yet every picture I received (there were a lot! :) ) was of him happy and smiling for the camera. It showed Elizabeth didn't just come to feed/let him out/play a bit, it showed she gave him full attention her whole visit and, more importantly, showed the immense amount of love she gave to my dog also. The last point is the most important because that kind of service is priceless. It's also important to note that the house was in immaculate condition when I came home. Everything was exactly where I had left it (despite my dogs tendency to try rearranging ;) ), with a thoughtful note left on the table waiting for me. That in itself made coming home much less stressful than I had been anticipating. :) Elizabeth was also extremely accomodating with working with my neighbors (who normally watch my pup for short visits) and my family on his care. It's obvious that she always puts the care of her pets she watches first. In short, Perky Paws Pet Sitting deserves the highest of ratings.

Anyone else have trouble getting a response for a service request? Per the site requests are responded to within 48 hours, however I never receive any response. Not so much as a "No". I also make sure to check my spam so not sure what the issue is. My best friends of almost 20 years love and trust Perky Paws and have been using them for the past few years with their lab that passed and with their newest addition. So, this is not a slam just a curiosity as to what the issue could be.

I just love Jessie. And Josh too. She was here for a week with our 4 month old papillion, Pippin. She sent me pics every day and let me know how he was doing. I was worried that being so young he’d be a lot of work but Jessie seemed to embrace it. She kept the house clean and neat too. She took care of our pool and brought in the mail. For me, it’s important that I have someone that I can trust and rely on while we’re away. That’s Jessie and Josh. I’m so glad we use Chasing tails when we go away! Diane Bishop

First time I left my 4 pups with a stranger. Jessie came out the week before to go over everything and my mind was immediately at ease. I did the almost overnight package which was perfect. She sent daily pictures and texts to give me updates. I would use her again in a heartbeat!

Jessie is amazing! She came and stayed at our house earlier this month while we were on vacation and watch our 3 boys (dog children). We got daily pictures and reports via text. Which gave us peace of mind that they were safe and happy. When we got home our boys were calm, happy, and continent. We've never came home to stress free pets. In fact our golden doodle seemed a little down the next day and kept looking for her around the house, I think he missed her ❤️.
