I strongly recommend Ben to take care of your pets when you’re away. Ben takes care of Gizmo, my 12-year-old grumpy tuxedo cat (who is a bit of a tough client), and he does a wonderful job. Upon meeting Ben, I was immediately comfortable with allowing him access to my home and leaving my girl in his care. He was friendly with me and was understanding when I mentioned Gizmo’s hesitance with people who are not me. While I am away, Ben always sends me text messages and photos to reassure me that she in good hands. He also followed the instructions I left and even swept up the litter from around the litter box. I am so glad to have a trustworthy and professional pet-sitter to rely on when I travel. I can relax and enjoy my travel knowing that Gizmo will be safe and fed and her litter box cleaned while I’m away!

We left town for 10 days and Ben walked & cared for our 2 dogs, as well as feeding & loving on our housecat and several barn cats. He sent daily pics & videos of our goofballs having a terrific time and I’d recommend him over kenneling any day! 10/10, awesome experience, will hire again!

We have boarded our puppy here several times and have had no issues. It always looks and smells very clean. Our puppy is always happy to see the staff. The prices are very reasonable especially for the piece of mind you get from the staff. Erin and her staff are wonderful!!

Worth every penny! This is the first time we have boarded our dogs. We have two dogs and one has very bad separation anxiety, so we were very worried about leaving them. Windy Ridge put our mind at ease! They kept in touch if we had any questions, and took very good care of our pups! Very satisfied with their service! Very nice people and very reasonable prices! Will definitely use them again in the future!!

They all love my dogs as much as I do! And on top of that, Erin bends over backwards to accommodate them.

Clean facility. Staff very accommodating for dogs' needs with food, medicine, etc. Each family of dogs are taken outside separately so there are no issues. Prices reasonable. Drop off and pick up times are offered three times daily which make it so convenient. Staff very friendly and took time to answer all our questions. They have a large field where the dogs get plenty of exercise.

Awesome place to leave your furry friend. Attention given to all animals, the dogs do get excited at drop off and pick up times but that is to be expected. Additional time for your pet is awesome especially the option for a bath. The attendants there at the kennel treat your four legged as if they were there own.

Pretty good place & reasonable rates. Dogs are kept in individual cinder-block or fenced cubbies; you bring your own bedding, food, dishes, toys, etc to make dog comfortable. Staff will feed dog twice a day and let him/her out 3 times daily (never mixes with other dogs); you can also pay for additional playtimes and even a bath. 2 downsides: was really noisy with all the dogs barking. Also you have to work your schedule around their limited pick-up and drop-off times, but a good value overall.

I have been taking my dogs to Windy Ridge for years. Most recently they were there for Christmas and as always everything went well. I don’t worry about my dogs at all when they are at Windy Ridge and the staff is so nice to people as well as to dogs!!!

We adopted a dog last year and had the wonderful staff at The Calm Companion help us with some behavioral issues(pulling very hard on her leash during walks). After her initial training and time, our dog was so much easier to handle. We recently decided to enroll her in E collar training to allow us more flexibility with while we are camping/ hiking. Hanna and the staff did such an amazing job. I was amazed at the results. I would highly recommend the staff at The Calm Companion. We’ve also used them for boarding and every time we drop our dog off she is super excited to see the team.

The atmosphere is relaxed and yes, calm, and all the dogs are genuinely content to spend time. From a family with three large dogs and child, our family was looking for improved obedience, appropriate boundaries and calm consistency with our pups. Rosanne with The Calm Companion was just the woman for this job. She treated our dogs as her own while giving them the love but structured support they needed. Even after the first training session we were able to notice a difference in the interaction of our entire pack. Rosanne is highly educated in this field and ALWAYS takes the time to explain the 'why" behind her training with the pet owner. This truly solidifies the training relationship between you and your dog! I cannot say enough good about our experience with Rosanne/The Calm Companion and are happy to report a new high level of confidence in myself as a pet owner.

Calm Companion provides us with a safe and fun daycare for our Aussie puppy. The personnel are excellent and obviously enjoy what they do. Our puppy is excited when she arrives each day, anxious to join the other dogs at Calm Companion. I broke my foot several weeks ago and we’ve been using Calm Companion every weekday since then. We plan to continue using them during the week so that we can work remotely and, most importantly, give our puppy a place where she can be around other people and dogs. I trust Calm Companion without hesitation. They are first rate.

Rosanne is the perfect trainer! She is great at explaining what she is doing and why so that you understand what you need to do at home to keep up the progress. She adapts to your personal situation when working with the dog. We loved all the positive reenforcement. Her love for dogs shows because our dog who is not usually comfortable with strangers loved her right away. She came over before we started and did a personalized plan for our dog. After we got started she was very flexible with her time to make sure we got the training worked in at the right times. Any time we had a question she answered within a few minutes! She was able to work with us and our dog in various locations and situations to make sure she addressed all our concerns. Thank you Rosanne for transforming our little ball of anxiety into a dog that is a pleasure to walk and be around! We can't thank you enough!

I can’t recommend Roseanne, Kris and all the Calm Companion staff highly enough. We are very grateful for the training, education, support and care they provided as we worked to improve the behaviors, training, and confidence of our newest four-legged family member. He’s moved to Austin, TX now to support our daughter, but he’ll come to visit his Calm Companion family when he’s back in town!

I highly recommend The Calm Companion to all dog owners! Our family reached out to them at a time we felt things were spiraling out of control with our puppy! They trained our dog and taught us everything we needed to know about how to achieve a calmer happier life with our dog! Now we walk thru stores and people are amazed how well behaved our puppy is! These ladies are so knowledgeable and took so much time answering all my questions! We also took a class with them and had so much fun, our dog loved it and so did we! We-and our pups-love The Calm Companion. It was calm, clean, quiet and it's obvious all of the dogs are well taken care of. We know they loved daycare by the happy dance they were doing when we dropped them off for an overnight stay.

We have had a great experience working with Rosanne and her program "The Calm Companion." We have two young golden retrievers and are expecting twins this summer ... The young pups are sweet but can be overly excited. It is still a work in progress, but after working with Rosanne for a number of weeks in which she came to our house or we met her at a specific location (e.g., Sells Park), the dogs are showing calmer behavior. They are less "jumpy" when meeting or seeing new people and are able to calm themselves. The younger pup has shown immense gains. We have more work ahead, but I feel confident with our plan moving forward.

Calm Companion has helped us so much with our lab who has anxiety and space guarding issues. We did private lessons and group lessons and are learning so much. We also board our dog with Calm Companion and wouldn’t trust anyone else with our dog. Highly recommend.

It's a very good place to take your pet to get groomed. The groomer is loved by my dog. He enjoys being groomed by them. They also take great care of your dog when left while you are on vacation.

The staff is amazing, I could tell from everyone I met during my dogs stay, that they love animals! The facility is clean and I couldn't feel better about leaving my animal here.

My family used this facility to board our Siberian Huskies for 8 days. We had never boarded the boys before, so we were nervous about doing so. The staff really eased our minds during our tour, and were very welcoming when we checked them in. Being the first time boarding, I called every couple of days to check on them. The staff was very friendly and assuring. Price was very fair and my dogs were.taken great care of. Highly recommended.

Winding Road Kennel was amazing! They are everything we are looking for in a groomer. Our groomer, Erica, was very communicative and made sure we got all of our requests in before taking our pup in for grooming. At first, our pup seemed nervous, but when I went to pick him up, he was completely at ease, and that's when you know you got a good groomer! The cut was very well done and cleanly cut. Erica did everything we had ask for and beyond! And the pricing was beyond reasonable. For our pup, which is a mid-size 45lb medium-long hair, we ended up paying $55 + tip. Picked up my Great Dane today. Had an injury on his nose. I asked the staff members what had happened and no one knows anything. When I arrived home I noticed his testicles were a little swollen and bleeding. He’s an elderly dog but that’s not the condition he was dropped off in. Definitely will not be returning.

Terrible experience. My puppy was boarded there 1 week. She lost a ton of weight, I doubt she ate. She went in clean, came out dirty. Toys and blankets were still totally clean which makes me wonder if they were ever given to her. She’s been potty trained for over 6 months but is now peeing in the house so I have to wonder if she was left to pee in her cage. Worst $350+ I’ve ever spent. This is my 2nd attempt to post this feedback-strangely the first post hasnt shown up.

They always do such a wonderful job with grooming our very large red golden retriever. He loves his groomer Victoria and is always glad when she comes out to greet him! Staff is very accommodating when I call to make sure my grand pup has s to jay! 5 stars is not enough!

Luna went to Dott's Place last week while I traveled. She was at "doggie camp". She had the best time. Usually she is kenneled. At Dott's Place she gets to be outside every day and plays with other dogs her size and energy level. They offer daycare too. Luna does daycare too sometimes. Dott's Place is wonderful. Luna had her second birthday there. I am grateful for such a caring and safe place. Staff are super!💚

If Sierra doesn’t have room, I probably won’t go! Sierra and her team are beyond amazing. This place is like summer camp for your fur babies. This is not your typical boarding setting. Your pups are treated like family and it is bright and shiny and the happiness shows in the photos. From the time I drop them off I know they are having as much fun as me. Beyond Satisfied. Dott’s Place is the BEST! Winnie loves attending Dog Daycare there and did just fine with her first overnight boarding. Also, I do not worry about her being there when I drop her off. I can relax knowing she is happy and safe.

Sierra has always has an immense love for all animals. You can clearly see this shine through with how she runs her dog boarding business. She cares so deeply for each and every dog that comes into her facility. Giving them the best care and all the love and affection they could ever need. Often times going above and beyond what is needed or expected. Making sure they are all safe and cared for. This also applies to all of Sierra’s employees. She has taken the time to find people with the same love for animals as herself and trained them how to properly care for them. I also love how she puts the owners at ease with pictures and updates of their furry loved ones. Sierra and her staff are knowledgeable in many aspects of health and wellbeing of dogs. So you can take comfort in knowing that they will be cared for appropriately if a belly ache, boo-boo, or any extra care is required. She’s great to turn to with any questions or advice. I own my own dog training and boarding facility as well and she is the first one I turn to with any questions, help, or care of my own animals or my clients animals. She is also my go-to if/when I may be full or unavailable for boarding. And I trust her with that, full heartedly. Another major plus is her play area for the dogs. It’s big. It’s beautiful. It’s well kept. With a nice and secure, high fence. AND! She can even bathe your dog for you so they’re nice and clean for pick up. All the praise to her, her facility, her employees, and services. Boarded my puppy here for a long weekend. Good price, knowledgeable about the breed I have, nice facility, friendly staff. The best parts were that I was sent pictures and given updates about how my pup was doing. I could tell that that she played hard all weekend because she was calm and happy when I picked her up. I feel like they even worked with her on some behavior things too because she was super chilled out and content. Thank you for a great and safe place to leave my puppy for a few days! We’ll be back!

As a previous client of Sierra, I expected better when she branched off and started her own dog training business. Per my training contract I’m owed an in home/follow up lesson and have tried numerous times to schedule but she has since blocked my number. During the most recent board and train I received very little communication and had to text more than once to get a response. I was promised a googledrive with photos. During the entire 17 day stay, there were only photos from 2 different days. At our in home session during drop off while Sierra was handling my dog, she allowed her to jump on top of a seated family member in my home. I was unimpressed by her lack of control in the situation. My dog came home with more anxiety than she left with. I was hopeful Sierra would contact me back to schedule our final in home lesson but since I’ve gotten no reply and my number blocked, I’ll have to share this. How am I supposed to receive the support post training that’s included if I can’t contact the trainer and she hasn’t communicated to me? My dog was supposed to be trained on a treadmill walking pad during her 17 day stay but due to numerous issues this didn’t happen. I was promised a link to a video that would allow me to train her on the one we have at home and never received it. She also cancelled our in home lesson due to not knowing her own personal schedule, came late to our drop off and cancelled a scheduled daycare visit same day. Communication is certainly a struggle with all of these but you can’t count on keeping an appointment either. As a business owner you have a right to “discharge” clients but I’d highly recommend you only do that in warranted situations. Sierra is well aware that this isn’t one of them nor has she communicated that she wishes to terminate our contract and discharge us as clients. Update: after reviewing messages, it appears my contract includes TWO additional in home lessons in addition to the drop off “lesson”.

Our dogs were so happy! They got to stay together and play together. I finally have a place that caters to us and our wishes. Thank you Dott's Place, the boys can't wait to come back!

Amy is amazing with dogs! She is very thorough with the whole pet sitting process and because of that I felt very comfortable leaving my dog, Sophia, with her. She sent photos and updates multiple times throughout the time she had Sophia. She treats your pets like they are her own! We have already scheduled our next pet sitting with her. 10/10 recommend!!!

I was very reluctant to leave my senior (12 1/2 year old) Golden due to her health issues but when I met Amy at Hank’s Pet Sitting Services my decision was made! It is extremely obvious Amy is a dog lover and caretaker! But also her professionalism with paperwork assured me if anything did come up with our girl she could handle the situation. Her communication relaying when she would be at the house as well as pictures and videos from each visit were so assuring. I HIGHLY recommend Amy for the care of your beloved four legged family members!! We are lucky to have her as a pet sitting resource in our community!

We used Hank's Pet Sitting Service for our two Labrador retrievers while we were out of town for a week. Amy sent us daily photos of our dogs playing ball or hanging out with her on the couch, and they loved spending time with her. I highly recommend her business to anyone who like myself, doesn't enjoy the idea of your pet spending 16+ hours a day alone in a kennel at the vet or a large boarding facility.

Amy was updating me throughout the 2 weeks I was on vacation, and had given my kitty all the attention he needed! Will use her again and again for any future vacations :) Highly recommend, especially in the Lancaster OH area.

Amy was wonderful to have watching over our cats while we were away. The extra level of detail was great. Weather it be sending photos of our cats and or text messages before and after checking on them. Made me feel more at ease leaving them home alone. She even made friends with our senior cat who can be quite a handful! I would highly recommend her to all my friends. We plan on using Amy again in the near future.

Amy does a fantastic job taking care of your pets! She goes above and beyond when watching our animals!! She is kind, attentive and her communication is top notch! I loved having Hank's Pet Sitting Service take care of our animals. Amy is so caring and courteous. It was also obvious that my animals adored her. We had her come to our house over a period of five days to feed, clean up after, and medicate are cats. She was even willing to do some side tasks for us if need be like collect mail and take out our trash. Meeting with Amy was simple. She was easy to communicate with via text. Having Amy come to her house was much easier than our normal boarding procedures . It also saved our two girls a lot of stress! We will definitely be using her services again.

We love Boxers, and Toby is always happy to go there. Friendly staff and obvious dog lovers. We have done daycare, boarding, and vet care here, and we are trying out the grooming tomorrow.

The staff called and said our Shep was hostile toward staff which she never was at 7th Street Vet Boarding. We picked her up and one of the employees made a comment they were glad to see her gone. Since she’s been home she won’t eat, had constant vomiting and diarrhea. For $360.00 I expected more. Funny thing was the guy with long hair made a comment about why we weren’t paying more to the very nice young girl behind the counter and she explained we picked her up early. Won’t ever go back. We’ve spent the last two days cleaning vomit and feces from our home, taking her to the vet now and praying it’s nothing major.

Staff is amazing at both sides of the business. Fast, efficient, and very caring staff.

Outstanding service. I can go on and on about all the great benefits and fun activities for my dogs, however what matters most is that they give me peace of mind. Not only do I know my dogs will be taken care of, but I know they're also having fun. Well worth it.

Boxers is great. Our dog has separation anxiety but she gets so excited when we go to Boxers. The staff is wonderful. The place is always clean and no odors. Wish they hadn't had to increase their daily rates.

I used the kennel 5 years ago and was pleased with the facilities and service. I used them again this weekend and was very disappointed . I will say that the staff was polite and helpful, but the cleanliness of the facilities concerned us so greatly that we decided to cut our vacation short. We couldn’t stand the thought of our dog spending one more night in filth. I don’t expect a kennel to smell like perfume, but the stench was overpowering, and our white dog returned to us stinking and smeared with brown. Again, helpful and friendly staff, but poorly maintained facilities. I would not use this kennel again or recommend it.

They were wonderful with our fur baby sabbath. Even though he wasn't feeling good and was in a bad mood for all 4 days. They treated him so amazing. Kept us updated daily. Will definitely recommend to everyone.

Katie and her staff are wonderful! I’ve boarded my dogs here for years and they’ve always been well taken care of! Katie has always kept me informed and updated during their stay. Even my Shepherds get excited when we pull into the driveway lol.

We started bringing our dog here this past year and it has been great. The owner is really nice and loves our dog. She is always happy to see her and Blossom seems to love being there as well. I'm so glad we found Hocking Hills Boarding Kennel. It make vacationing so much less stressful and worrisome knowing that our dog is being well taken care of. They are also very affordable!

I chose this place because the reviews were really good and I wanted a cheaper place since we needed boarding for 10 days. The first issue I had was the price. The price I had seen wasn’t the right price. Thankfully they honored the price I seen. But When we went to pick our dog up, it was a little suspicious that the lady said that our dog ate every meal every day….. we didn’t ask. I know my dog and I know she get anxious without us and she barely eats when we have to leave her. Which is fine. But she looked like she had lost some weight. So not sure how she ate every meal but still lost weight. She also had some scratches on her nose and around her mouth. I’m assuming it’s from the fence and her trying to get out. She has never had that problem with any other place. And I found it weird they gave her a bath before we came when I didn’t pay extra for it. I’m assuming it is because she slept on her filthy blanket for who knows how many days. It smelled so badly of urine that we had to throw it away. she never has accidents in the house unless she’s been left alone for 10-12 hours. So I’m wondering how many accidents she had because how bad it smelled, it wasn’t just once. Or I have no clue if they board dogs together and it was from another dog. We didn’t get to tour the place like we have other places. She also lost her voice. She has a weird high pitched bark now. We have boarded her many times and this has never happened. I hate that I can’t ask her what happened while she was there. I will never use them again.

We went camping in Hocking Hills and we wanted to spend a day kayaking but we couldn't bring our 60lb pitbull so we checked locally for a boarding kennel. We are so happy we found this place. Everyone was so friendly. It was clean and they play with your dog. My dog was very happy there. We ended up having her there overnight and they took immaculate care of my dog. They also gave her a bath for just a few dollars more. They could charge more than they do. I am an extremely happy patron.

This is my "go to" place for my little fur baby even if it is 45 minutes from me. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They are also very accommodating. The kennels are clean and the entire facility is well maintained. My dog gets excited to go there because he can run and play with other pup friends in the large fenced area.

Stacie was the absolute best! she took care of both our cats Nala and Frodo and we will 100% be using her again! She was responsive and checked in with us with every visit with photos. She spent time petting them and giving attention on top of the usual. One of our cats also require a pill twice a day and she did a phenomenal job with that as well! She also offered to get our mail and was ready to come back if we were delayed getting home on time. I would recommend her to anyone!

Stacie is an amazing pet sitter! She has watched my cat, Sivvy, many times and Sivvy absolutely loves her! Stacie always sends me pictures and daily updates while I am away so I know how Sivvy is doing, and she always makes sure Sivvy has a lot of cuddle and play time so she doesn’t get lonely while I’m away. I never have to worry about Sivvy when Stacie is taking care of her. I highly recommend Stacie for pet sitting!

Stacie has taken care of our pets on numerous occasions. The 2 dogs trust her and love to be around her. The 2 cats both like attention from her. The male cat enjoys sitting on her lap purring the whole time and the female cat likes the gentle way Stacie gives her pets and scratches under the chin. Animals have sixth sense about people and at least ours have determined that Stacie is definitely a friend to all animals.

Kate took great care of my cat Pixels while my husband and I were on our elopement trip. I was nervous he would be anxious but he warmed right up to her, which made me feel better about leaving him with her.

I always know our perfect (very selective) dog is happy and cared for at Kates place!! She has a special plan for every dog, ensuring that my sometimes grumpy guy is always in the best possible play groups and even has a special sleeping arrangement for him. She can cater to hyper, lazy, special needs or just a regular family dog. She answers quickly when booking and sends really nice photo updates! I have recommended her to everyone I know and all the dogs are so happy (and are VERY different). Highly recommend!!!

Amos loves coming to see her and playing with friends! You really couldn’t ask for someone better to love your baby just like yours.

My 3-year-old boxer , Morgan, stayed with Kate for 2 weeks. She has a lot of energy and loves to run around. She had a blast and enjoyed playing with the other dogs. Will definitely return for our future boarding.

We bring our silly neurotic dog to Kate when we travel. Moka absolutely loves her visits to Kate's house and her big yard to play in. Kate knows the quirks of our dog, and works with her well. I highly recommend her!

This has become my go to spot for beagle chow after being turned on to Dr. Gary's Best Breed brand. I haven't personally tasted it, but my dog raves about it. Of course, I once saw him eat a dead worm, but different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Easily my favorite spot in town for pet supplies and grooming! They have a much larger assortment than I initially assumed and have become my go-to for all things dog. When I first got my rescue pup she was refusing her kibble and they were actually able to provide more information and recommend a brand that was developed by a vet. Since then it's been night and day, my girl has never refused a meal and usually gets very affectionate and excited after she eats, helicopter tail and everything. (Dr. Garys Field and Stream is our go to!) My dog was very nervous about coming in for a nail trim, but Nina was able to take care of it SO quickly and painlessly. She immediately identified that she had longer quicks and didn't catch a single one. I really can't recommend this business enough; it's very reassuring bring a rescue I'm still building safety trust with and have the staff actively reinforce that trust.

Love my little local pet shop! They make sure to always have the top and healthiest products for your furry friends. Super friendly staff and there's almost always some kitties in there to pet and/or adopt!

We made a second appointment to have our puppies claws clipped and we were 11 minutes late, I asked if they would help anyway since the place was empty but they refused and told me to reschedule. It only takes a few minutes to do. I thought we had the perfect place to get her taken care of, but I will reschedule somewhere else. Gave 2 stars because the first appointment was great.

Took our girl Mexie here today to get her nails done. The groomer was great and super fast. Reasonable price also! Very happy. We will definitely be returning!

Went in to get nails clipped on my dog. No customers at all there. No one even in the parking lot. 2 girls behind the counter, one standing at the end of counter eating a bowl of food. They declined to clip the nails on my dog and said that I needed to email them. That's an email they will never get. I had a handful of money that they obviously didn't want.

Shelly is absolutely amazing! She's so knowledgeable. I have an overweight cat and was looking for food to help her lose some weight and also calm her anxiety. Shelly delivered on both! I'm trying her suggestions for food and have been using the collar she suggested for anxiety. This is a wonderful place for pets and the staff is caring and knowledgeable about their products.

Good selection of pet products, friendly and professional staff, sub 5 minute dog claw clipping, and don't even get me started on BB.

This place does cat grooming and they are absolutely fantastic! I have a cat who is not easy to groom, but they made it look easy and my cat looked brand new. Also, the whole experience took only 30 minutes (granted my cat was only dry-shampooed). I loved the staff and the store had lots of great toys, food, and adoptable cats. I would highly recommend.
