Lucy and Jaz were the best sitters! We were away for nearly 3 weeks and returned home to a pair of happy and relaxed pets. The apartment was immaculate, clean and tidy and the laundry was on! Linda & Tony were fabulous dogsitters and Tilly was very sad to see them go. They looked after the house and car immaculately and even cooked us a meal for when we returned. We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. 5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Used these kennels not knowing what to expect as we don't live in the area but found them to be very friendly and understanding. I've not left Thyra our beagle more than one night before so was a bit worried but I needn't have been. She seemed to be happy when we collected her 3 days later.
While I was moving my home back from Spain to the UK I had to find kennels for my two dogs, Pease Lye was my best decision of 2016. They could not have done any more for us and our dogs, we even got a regular updates and photos. First class service

My dog loved staying with Iona. She was accommodating with times for pick up and drop off and very reasonably priced. My dog must have had a great day playing as he instantly fell asleep when he came home.
I started using Iona when she stared up as my little jack russell couldn’t be out at a yard I worked on so on a longer day to break her day up I got Iona to walk her. After a change in circumstances I wasn’t at the yard but asked if Maple would be able to go for home boarding when I’m away. Maple has enjoyed her first stay, went away happy and came back happy. 110% recommend Walks4Paws as I don’t have to worry or think when I’m away.

Ruth at PetStay is an absolute legend. Every time I’ve needed to book our toller in she’s linked us up with a wonderful carer (same family every time luckily, our dog loves them). Could not recommend Petstay or Ruth highly enough. Immediately felt at ease during our first meeting with Ruth and Ann & Les. It is very obvious they love dogs and Max could sense that too as was not bothered when we left him. Regularly updated with photos & videos of his adventures. Max had a ball. He can't wait for his next visit in a few weeks.
Avoid, avoid, avoid. Pet Stay said they could cover a weekend for me. Booked to meet a carer - I had to take a day annual leave because the carer’s availability was so limited. Pet Stay cancelled this at short notice. They then rebooked me with someone else. This was also then cancelled. Spent a month wasting time emailing back and forth in total. This seems like a really disorganised and unreliable company - I’d not trust them with my dog.

As our dogs are not just pets they are family, it is very hard to find people who we can fully entrust and have peace of mind whist we leave them. We can not fault Jenni and her care, we have 3 large breed dogs one of which has nervous aggressive issues, so obviously we wouldn't dream of leaving him in a home boarding situation, clearly this is setting him up for failure and putting other dogs at risk. However our other 2 love Jenni and family and we don't give a second thought to leaving them. I am highly picky as where I leave my babies and cannot recommend this place enough, not only do I fully trust the care and love they receive I also trust their choice of client therefore I'm assured my pets will be safe and happy. Well done guys great to see people doing a job for the love of animals and putting their needs 1st 👍

Lots of updates on all the fun Hunter was having with the other dogs and when Hunter was unwell they were totally exceptional in the love and care they gave her until we returned from holiday. Since moving 2 years ago we have used In the Dog House regularly for our miniature schnauzer Bruno. To say he adores going is an understatement as he impatiently scratches at their door to get in or by their gate even if he’s not going when out on a walk. I absolutely love that I can see how happy he is and know that Jenni, Gordon and Georgia treat him just as if he is theirs when they are looking after them. Best dog sitters we have used by far!!
With 2 large bouncy dogs I’m extremely cautious about leaving them with anyone, and both being rescues they have their “quirks”... Jenni took the time to meet us all beforehand, and took in all my rabbling and concerns, and made me feel much more relaxed about them staying. From the minute they got to “in the dog house” I could see they were given the care and attention as if they were Jenni & Gordon’s own. The regular photos and updates on social media further confirmed it! Kael & Finn had an absolute blast, and were spoiled rotten with love and exciting walks. Wonderful people, offering nothing less than a 5 star service. Cannot recommend enough.
Jenni and Gordon and their daughter Georgia are the best there is. Millie loves going there and it really is home from home. I just wouldn’t go anywhere else. Every time we pass the house Millie keeps trying to get back in. Every time she sees them she practically wets herself with excitement. I love that we have somewhere for Millie to go where she is loved, is safe and is happy.
Cannot fault the service provided by In The Dog House. The owners are lovely and want your dog to be as happy with them as they are in their homes. Dogs get fantastic walks and fun (woods, rivers, the park) and I love that all dogs that stay are vetted beforehand to make sure they are friendly, will fit in with 'the pack' and not cause anyone's dog anxiety. My dog loves staying 'ITDH' and it show by his waggy tail. I also love that there is no limit to the number of cuddles he gets, he gets to sleep on the couch and we get photo updates while our dog stays with them. If I could give 10 stars I would!
2 nights cost me £270, my son had to collect the dog after 2 nights, no refunds. Ruby hated her stay there.

Absolutely amazing. My dog Archie stayed with Borders Boarding for 11 nights and he absolutely loved the place and the staff. The grounds are lovely and peaceful, with beautiful walks, which suits Archie as he can be very nervous with loud noises. Very professional and take on board your dogs' needs. Archie suffers from elbow dysplasia and Neil, and the staff catered to Archies needs regarding his condition. I received daily updates and pictures of Archie which made my holiday more enjoyable knowing Archie was enjoying his holiday and being cared for like home from home. We were extremely anxious knowing we had to find a Day and Night Boarding facility for our French Bulldog Puppy and were under no circumstances wanting to put her into kennels. We stumbled across Borders Boarding whilst googling local business and after a half day introduction, booked Bella in for Tuesday Boardings to begin with and get her use to being somewhere other than our home for the day. Bella settled in very quickly and both Neil and James have treated her as if she was their own. Bella had her first overnight weekend stay a few weeks ago and we received regular updates on her progress. Bella is very relaxed, calm and happy every time we collect her, on dropping off she knows the minute we get onto the sweeping drive up to the house where she is going and does a dance in her car seat, super excited. The Boarding facility is a home environment set in a tranquil, peaceful countryside setting which is perfect for Bella, I would highly recommend Neil and James at Borders Boarding to anyone who wishes home comforts and only the best care for their pooch
My boys loved staying with Borders Boarding. They felt right at home from the minute they walked in a real home from home. They had fantastic walks just outside the front door and even a stream to have a dip and with a nice warm place to dry out and sleep what more could they want. Did they miss us, not one bit.
My black lab enjoyed his stay, got on really well with their dogs. Felt really relaxed with picture & video updates throughout the week. Would definitely choose borders boarding as my dogs go to holiday place & highly recommend to anyone looking for a non-kennel stay as the stay is just like home. So pleased we found Borders Boarding. I personally didn’t want to put Bertie into a kennels as he is such a home boy. Borders Boarding offered Bertie a safe, home environment with an abundance of land for him to run around in and us piece of mind knowing he was happy and being so well looked after. I can’t recommend Borders Boarding enough and Bertie can’t wait to stay again.
My 2.5 Yr old labrador adored the 2 resident GSP's. Running and playing all day and snoring his head off in the evenings. I loved the updates and pics and we will be using Borders Boarding again. A knowledgeable and safe haven. Thanks 👍 …
Neil is fantastic with our 3-year old Airedale Terrier, who always has such a great time at Borders Boarding exploring the beautiful contryside and running around the garden with the other dogs. He is very accomodating of our dog's particular needs, such as his daily routine and dietary requirements - he really makes it a home away from home for him! I couldn't recommend Borders Boarding enough!
My 9 year old toy poodle had a great day with Neil at Borders Boarding. She got on great with the resident dogs and really enjoyed all the lovely outdoor space they have to run around in.
Absolutely wonderful people, couldn't fault them. Very friendly and very welcoming would highly recommend them :) Thanks for looking after rocky and I will defo bring him back
