Experienced 5⭐️ house & pet sitter who loves to travel. Quiet, clean, vaccinated
Yammy was a wonderful sitter, and we were lucky to have her here. She and our cat Puccini clicked right away, and based on her frequent updates with photos to us I think Puccini sat on or near her every minute she was here😄! She was here for five+ weeks, and anything that came up needing attention she took it in stride and and kept us informed so we never had to worry about a thing. And when we returned the house was immaculate — if it hadn’t been for the pictures she sent we would hardly know she’d lived in the house for five weeks! We’d love to host her again, any time, and if she applies to sit for you you should absolutely grab her before someone else does.

Clean, respectful, loving mom & daughter DUO!
Danni was a fantastic sitter, probably the best sitter we’ve ever had. She was excellent with communication prior to and during the sit. She was very friendly and our cat (who isn’t very social) even came out of hiding while she was here. We were out of the country and had no pet worries thanks to Danni’s care. We would wholly recommend her 10/10.

this is the second time I entrusted Georgia with the care of my two cats, Tagger and JoeBob. It was almost two months and she regularly sent updates and news from home. I love how responsive and attentive she was to the cats. They already miss her.

Compassionate, responsible, & loving mother and son duo.
Coco and Liam were our first sit and it was a long 3 week trip. We came back to a happy home and a happy hound. Coco was in contact with off and on during our trip with updates, which was reassuring. I hope to use her again, they were fantastic!

Happy writer offers you peace-of-mind while you're away.
McKinley was great in every aspect. She has been doing pet sitting for a while and it shows. She was well prepared ahead of time, knew the right questions to ask and was great with our dog Libbey. We would be happy to have her back anytime.

Your home and pets will be cared with much love
This was our first time using zeewoi, and Gaby made us feel reassured about leaving our 2 dogs behind to travel. She spent most of her time with them and sent pictures every day. It is clear Gaby loves animals deeply, so we were very happy to know our dogs were not just being looked after, but loved on in our absence. She took the time to get to know their individual personalities and quirks and give the specific type of care and attention needed for each pup. One of our dogs can be shy and insecure and very attached to me, but Gaby earned her trust in a matter of hours. Gaby allowed us to travel without worrying about our dogs, and we would have her sit for us again in the future!

Responsible and Perceptive Animal Lover
I had a last minute trip come up, and was relieved Valerie was able to take care of my kitties in a pinch. I liked her immediately upon meeting her, and felt her great energy would be a perfect match for my shy kitties. As far as I could tell, Valerie took good care of the kitties while I was away. The communication was just okay. She eventually replied to my messages about this and that, but didn't really initiate or share little updates or photos of the kitties and how it was going unless I reached out first. When I came home, I discovered that an item of mine was missing and asked her if she had seen it anywhere, thinking I must have misplaced it before I left. She acknowledged she had taken it, but didn't actually apologize, incredibly, and then it was a real struggle to try to get it back or at least have her send a replacement. After much persistence and pursuit on my part and quite the runaround on her part, she eventually replaced it, but I was a bit taken aback by her blasé attitude about taking it in the first place and then casual avoidance to resolving the situation. All very surprising, and an unfortunate disheartening footnote to the petsit. All that being said, she left my house very clean and tidy, and the kitties seemed very calm and content when I returned.

Animal Lover Since Age 7. Your pets are my new best friends. Truly.
Karen took excellent care of Zorro...He could not be happier! Since it was a long term sit and since it was during the summer, Zorro had a bad case of the fleas. His flea collar and frontline treatment was not working. After communicating with us, Karen took the initiative to take Zorro to the vet for treatment. When we got home Zorro was happy and flea free.

Kelly was a wonderful pet sitter and house sitter! Our dog Cooper adored her. She sent us pictures several times a day and he was always snuggling with her. She kept in touch with us regularly. We have never left our baby before and we were anxious about it but we ended up feeling totally comfortable with Cooper in Kelly’s care. She also kept our potted plants alive during a heat wave and took great care of the house. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.
Prashant and India were fantastic pets sitters for us. Both were dependable and were even kind enough to allow some service people into the home to do some repairs. Our dogs were well looked after and we got daily updates on how the dogs were doing. Prashant is very knowledgeable and gave us a few strategies to combat some negative behaviors that we were seeing with the dogs. Could not recommend them more. They will be missed.
Lindsay and Bryce provided excellent care to our two cats while we were gone. They are great communicators, took amazing care of our apartment and send regular updates and photos so that we knew all was going well. We would absolutely recommend them as responsible and thoughtful pet sitters who can be entrusted with the care of your home and pets.
What a lovely couple Tara and Tyler are. They had been in Scottsdale about six weeks before the house sit. and can to meet us. Rusé, our Toy Fox Terrier, fell in love with them immediately, and was in Tara’s arms within two minutes. We always like our sitters to arrive the day before we leave, take them out to dinner and get to know them. It was quite apparent from the videos and photos we received, that Rusé did not miss us. Tara and Tyler’s three grown up children joined them before Xmas-to Rusé’s delight as these were additional hands to throw his rubber bones and balls. The house was all clean and tidy, when we returned.. There is a strong possibility that Tara and Tyler will move to Arizona from Montana, with two of their children, recently moved to the area. They have already offered to look after Rusé in the future. We know he would love it. We cannot recommend Tyler and Tara higher enough, they were perfect House and Pet sitters
Rachel was an excellent pet sitter for my cat. She was a good communicator and also kept my place very tidy. She even left me a gift of a bar of chocolate upon her departure! Highly recommend.
Linda was an awesome pet sitter for my doggie Brodie! She gave him so much loving attention… he has some separation anxiety at 9 years old & she never left his side! She was so attentive to him & I am very grateful for that! Linda’s communication was also something I liked… we texted & chatted on the phone before her arrival & I felt very comfortable with her being in my home & with my dog. I could tell her number one reason to pet sit was her love for dogs & desire to be a wonderful companion for Brodie while I was away for the weekend! Would love to have her back anytime…
Angelica was a wonderful pet sitter for our dog Rosie! She was easy to communicate with before and during the sit (very responsive), and made time to do a walk through of our house/intro to Rosie prior to the sit. She was extremely reliable throughout the process, and left our house really neat. Rosie was happy when we got home! We'd be happy to have Angelica sit for us again and would recommend her to anyone!
David was a super interesting guy, we had good conversation. My place was clean, my cat was happy...he communicated with me.. David is a great house and pet sitter . He is very gentle, which my cat enjoys.
Angela and Joe are wonderful house and pet sitters sitters in every way. They have a great loving way with animals and my shy dog warmed up to them right away. They are warm, organized, confident, and thorough. They communicated very well and gave me frequent updates and sweet photos of my dog Chica. They also took excellent care of my home. My only regret was that I didn't get to spend more time with them, because they're such lovely and interesting people. I give Angela and Joe my highest recommendation and feel that anyone would be very lucky to have them their sitters! I hope that they return to sit here again.
Gowri was very patient and caring with Irisi who got sick the day before I left. I cannot commend her enough for how she rose to the occasion and took care of my baby. She even pick up meds from the vet. My cat, Squinty, was very comfortable with her to jump in bed and wake her up early in the morning (as he would with me). I am not aware of him doing that to other sitters that have stayed at my place. I would give her 6 stars for Pet care if I can! She updated me with Irisi's condition which really help ease my mind, knowing someone looking after my furry really cared. I would certainly have her back again!

This has been our dog's home away from home for the past three years! We take her for day care and occasionally boarding, and she LOVES it! She is loved and cared for and gets to play, and she's always so happy and excited when we drop her off. Sherri and all of the staff are wonderful, they truly care! Plus they are pretty flexible and affordable, especially compared to other places. Could not recommend them more!
We are going on two years of bringing our dog for daycare and occasional boarding at about Animal’s Best Friend and we wouldn’t take him anywhere else. He loves Sherri and her staff and is always eager to go. The staff has taken the time to get to know my reactive dog and has helped him socialize to the point where he has many doggie friends. I always feel our dog gets the best and most consistent care at Your Animal’s Best Friend. I highly recommend.
YABF is a great place to take your dog if you’re looking for a cage-free daycare filled with loving staff and great prices. My dog goes here twice a week and enjoys making new friends. She also gets spoiled because of her big sad cow eyes. I know that she’ll be safe and happy while I’m working. When I first brought my dog here, I was worried because she’s shy. When I picked her up they called her a “social butterfly”. I was in shock. I didn’t expect her to love daycare so much. The open plan/couch and bed set up was incredibly helpful in getting her out of her shell. Sherri and Dan are both responsive if I have questions or concerns. They are happy to give me updates with photos during the afternoon.
This family is dedicated to supporting and protecting and loving your pups. Sherri is a dedicated and fiercely loyal person to the health and safety of your dogs. You don't want to vaccinate or train your dog? Cool, you can't come here, she is strict about medical records and behavior of animals. We live in FV now and still come back for top level love and support after moving from HB. If you don't believe that these animals are something special talk to Sherri about their not so subtly message to her and saving her, it's a testament to why we don't deserve dogs.
After looking around for a professional dog care service for our wedding, we found Your Animal's Best Friend. My dog is like my child, since I don't have any children, and it was enormously important for her to be in our wedding. We got married on a Sunday on Labor Day weekend 2014 at Hyatt Huntington Beach. While most dog care services were closed Sundays and/or the holiday weekend, Your Animal's Best Friend was not only open, but provided handling services and transportation for my dog Penny to and from my wedding! Sherri handled Penny with care and professionalism my entire wedding ceremony, and before & after for photos. She was dressed professionally in case she appeared in any photos while handling Penny, and even got Penny dressed in her flower girl outfit for us. I dropped Penny off with Sherri in the morning with her outfit and food, and let Sherri know that Penny is afraid of larger dogs and is more comfortable around puppies or a small group of mellow dogs. Sherri showed me around and where she would have Penny, and I even met the other dogs Penny would be around to make sure I was okay with it. She arrived with Penny at the hotel right on time, and handled her while we took photos. She stayed with Penny the entire time, even when my family was handling her or she wasn't needed at that particular moment. My cousin walked Penny down the aisle, and Penny stayed with the groomsmen during the ceremony. We had Sherri sit in the front in case she needed to take Penny, and she walked Penny back out when the ceremony was over. She stayed for as long as I wanted after the ceremony to take pictures and pose her. She then took Penny back to the facility where she stayed the night until we picked her up the next morning. Sherri even sent me text message updates that Penny was okay upon their return. Sherri was everything we were looking and hoping for and more to make it possible to have Penny in our wedding. I can't say enough great things about how caring and professional they were in such a milestone in our lives!
Sherri and her facility are just simply AMAZING! She is a genuinely devoted, loving caring, good natured, angel on earth and is also a cancer survivor with an enormous zest for life! She's a gem, a true blessing and truly makes such an incredible impact and huge difference to our society with her enormous compassion she exudes to all animals and humans alike. Thank you Sherri for everything you do and who you are!
BEST DAYCARE EVER! I have been a client of YABF for six years now. Previous to finding YABF I used an independent dog sitter when we had only one dog who crated and left my baby all day until I came to pick up. So I was on the hunt to find the best, and I did with YABF! Like many paw-parents our girls (we have two corgis now) they are our babies. I can not say enough good things about Sherrie and her team. She not only is sensitive to my fears when we starting bringing our dogs to her, she is very thoughtful whenever I need extra help to come up with solutions. I write this because there are a lot of options for boarding and daycare, but it's when you need true help with a schedule or extra love for a pet that you see the true colors of people in this industry. I love her custom approach to pet care as not all families or pets are the same. I love that our girls are treated as though they were the pets of the team there. Our youngest (Ffion) was a Covid puppy. Since we couldn't leave the house she was not socialize or learned to be away from us. She has separation issues and the team is great with her. My dogs run to the gate to go in, and that's a good sign! Sherrie thank you for all you do for me and our family. Nia and Ffion are very fortunate to have you and your team care for them I can't recommend Sherrie and team highly enough. I need more stars. Please more stars!
We are ecstatic that we found Sherri, Dan, and family at YABF! We were planning for months to add a puppy to our family in April 2020. Then COVID hit, so we got the puppy (Blue) a bit earlier and developed a "pandemic puppy" who was extremely resistant to crate training. As things started opening more in 2021, we got a second puppy (Belle) to keep Blue company since he'd never been home alone. My husband and I have year-round commitments and travel spanning all hours. A few pack walk friends highly recommended Sherri for daycare needs at highly flexible hours. I was nervous because Belle had developed overexcitement and leash aggression on walks. Blue had some quirks of his own. We are SO GLAD we went by to meet Sherri and Dan. The environment they have created at YABF is beautiful. There are no crates and their expertise with dogs is amazing. Sherri gave me regular updates regarding their progress slow socializing with other dogs, including sending pictures. When it's time to go to YABF, we tell Blue and Belle they are going to "school" and the excitement is incredible. They run to get there and come back beautifully exhausted. Sherri has been super flexible with scheduling. I had a vet emergency with Blue and she was able to take Belle for daycare on minutes notice. If either dog is on special restrictions, they take great care. I trust them 100% with my pups. I've referred several friends here and they have had similar incredible experiences. I literally cannot say enough about the caring first rate service provided at Your Animal's Best Friend. My only regret: that I didn't go to them sooner! Thank you to everyone there for taking such fantastic care of my babies when I'm away!!!
I wouldn't take my dog's anywhere else. Sherri and her whole staff go up and beyond everyday. My dog's get so excited when we pull down the street. The facility is set up like someone's house. Upstairs is agility and exercise, needless to say my dog's are pooped when they get home. I would definitely refer Your Animals Best Friend to someone who needs socialization for their dog, daycare and boarding too. Dan does walks and house visits for those that opt to stay at home. They have it all. Thanks Sherri, Dan, James, Gavin, Jacob and Nathan you guys are my dog's best friends.
edit 2/22 we had been boarding our beloved senior lab here for the last year. never longer than a week. we decided to leave her at YABF recently while we were out of the country for 2 weeks and weren’t contacted once throughout the trip to be notified that her behavior or eating habits changed. the only update received was that she was doing good a few days into the trip. when i picked up my dog on february 20, she was barely able to get up to greet me. her ribs and spine were completely visible and her abdomen extremely swollen. unprovoked, but seeing the look on my face, a staff member simply said, “we tried to get her to eat more.” charged me and i left. when we took her to the vet, she had lost 3lbs even with the swollen abdomen. sadly we had to put her down less than 24 hours later as we learned she had been suffering from internal bleeding due to a tumor that ruptured during her stay. this rendered her unable to walk or eat and was completely obvious to me upon returning to pick up the dog i left . yet all we got was “she seemed fine” “how could we have known” “sometimes we see older dogs act like that when they’ve been here a while”. i will not place blame with YABF for the passing of an aging dog, but it is unforgivable not to notify an owner of behavioral changes when that dog is in your care. i took additional care with each visit to leave specific medical contacts and instructions, knowing that anything can happen. i overlooked the unanswered emails and requests for updates. i truly believed she was taken care of and they were just too busy to get back to me. i took that risk with YABF in good faith that at least 1 person would keep a closer eye on an ailing animal and thought to call me or her vet if she stopped eating or showing any signs of distress. i had faith that in my absence, someone here would notice the weight loss, bones sticking out, limping that wasn’t there previously, or in our case, being almost entirely unable to get up. i regret that my beautiful animal spent the last couple weeks of her life here and in pain. that no one noticed or cared enough to see her suffering. we will forever be heartbroken and have to live with the consequences of that decision. senior dog care is not for the faint of heart, and as owners we should all do better to guarantee our pets just a fraction of the love they bestow on us during their short times. i stand by my previous statement that this facility is not responsible for the cycle of life, but i can’t condone any level of negligence to someone providing a service that advertises care. based on my devastating experience, i offer 2 stars and a strong recommendation to use extra precaution if leaving your animal here more than a few days, or however long they can get by on their own. you never know what will go unnoticed. i advise against bringing a senior animal here as well.
It's clean and there's lots of things for the dogs to play with. The person that showed us around was very nice and answered every question we had. They even offer different packages tailored to fit your dog's needs. For example, I got the calming package for my dog. After taking the tour,I felt much better about leaving my dog with them for the night.
These folks really care about the pets left in their care. They put the effort in for our guy, Mr G, to make him feel comfortable in spite of his reactivity. We really appreciate the staff at Joyful Paws and think you will too!
I was so terrified to leave my 6 month old kitten fo the 6 days, but every staff member I encountered was able to ease my fears!! My kitten did so well, they were so patient and kind with him. He can be a bit spicy when meeting new people, but he adapted do well to their kindness. I most definitely will be returning for a visit to Joyful Paws Hotel!!
While the staff was friendly, I was extremely dissatisfied with this day care. Please DO NOT take your dog here under any circumstances. The first time I took my husky here, his nails were bleeding when I picked him up. When I asked staff, they had no idea what the cause was and barely noticed it when they turned in my dog to me. He must have been pawing at a fence for a long time and gotten ignored! The other two times I took him, he came out a complete mess and extremely dirty. The picture below is the last time ever brought him in on August 18 2023. He had a horrible stain on his left cheek that almost TWO MONTHS LATER has not completely gone away!!! If you look closely, he still has a light pink/brown stain on his left cheek. I’ve tried professional groomers, whitening shampoo, and nothing works. I assume it must have been some type of tar or oil that my husky got into. Once again, I asked staff if they knew what he was getting himself into, and they were unaware of what caused the mess. They didn’t notice it until they gave me my dog at pickup. Lastly, I know someone who’s dog suffered a spinal injury here and they deleted the footage!! Regardless if you believe the spinal injury story, the evidence of how Joyful Paws neglected my dogs needs is right here. I will be taking my dog to the vet and after the evaluation, I will reach out to Joyful Paws and request compensation because this is ridiculous especially for the price they charge. If you care about your dog’s safety please don’t leave them here.
Staff was super friendly and helpful. It was a first for my pup and they made us feel comfortable and secure. Will be using them on a regular basis. Ive been going here for over a year and continue to be impressed with the staff who look after our Ollie! oliver loves the staff and all his friends at Joyful Paws.
My Chihuahua loves to go here and be social with his friends when I'm busy. Recently boarded him for three nights and he was returned happy and healthy. Will return for more visits! They are very well organized
My dog stayed here for the first time this past week. I was very impressed with the professionalism of Joyful Paws and completely trusted that my dog was safe and well taken care of here. I was able to watch my dog during play time every day with the Wag Vision live cameras. I loved the daily report cards and photos! Also, she was given a great thanksgiving meal, a bath, nail trim, and goody bag upon departure. I recommend Joyful Paws to all my fellow pet parents! Definitely will continue coming here for lodging and maybe even daycare! They are also great with following COVID precautions - limited people in the lobby allowed, curbside pickup/drop off, wearing masks, etc.
My dog LOVES Joyful Paws - he’s always so excited to go. The staff is super friendly and very attentive! I love that they do breaks during the day so the dogs aren’t overstimulated and given time to rest between play times.
This was Mimi’s first time boarding and Joyful Paws took great care of her. We received a daily report card with pictures letting us know how she was doing. Highly recommend and will definitely use their services again!
1st day meet and greet. Staff was very pleasant i was given a tour this morning, and the young lady answered all of my concerns. Made me feel comfortable leaving ny dog in their care. The facility was clean. I had the ability to view my dog through Webcam which is a big plus. He was a little shy, but with time i do believe he will adjust. TY for caring and for taking care of Taco
I hired Lisa to watch over my great dane while I was on vacation for 2 weeks. Monster (my dog) usually gets very upset when I'm gone and the 2nd day Lisa came to my home to find that he had severe intestinal distress and there was diarrhea ALL OVER the house. He will always react that way when I'm gone. When I returned from my trip I came home to find the sofa and the carpet and the floors..spotless! She cleaned up the mess he made with out one complaint!!! Also, Monster was happy to see me, as usual, but pined for Lisa for 3 days. He fell in love! Now when she watches him, he no longer gets diarrhea and is much calmer when I leave. BEST PET SITTER EVER!!!!!!!
Lisa is a great Pet Sitter! My cats just love her! I always know that they will have the best of care when she is there. Lisa's love of animals is very apparent from the first time you meet her. She's been doing this for a long time & the reason why is her love for all animals! She always does a great job & leaves my kitchen immaculate. Her rates are also very reasonable for the great care she provides. I love Lisa! I wouldn't have anyone else take care of my animals!
Lisa was great w/my Aust Shepard who is smart and can create a disaster when bored. In 2hrs I learned how to make Chloe happy wo/killing my schedule. Lisa trains you to lead ur dog to be happily guided!
Lisa is the dog whisperer! She has been taking care of my two dogs and 3 cats for the past 8 years. Lisa is reliable, trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable about caring for the needs of my fur babies. She has also trained both of my dogs and has converted them from timid, unruly and hostile stray dogs to the most obedient, friendly well-behaved pups. My cats also love her. We depend on Lisa’s pet-sitting services on a weekly basis and couldn’t own pets without her. I highly recommend Lisa’s Pet Sitting to anyone looking for superior pet care while away at work or vacation.
Lisa helped me train a rescue dog that did not know anything! He was not leash trained and he was bit 'nippy'. One session with Lisa and magically he let me do absolutely any handling without nipping and learned to walk on the leash! We further refined his training and I now have the most wonderful and obedient dog ever. I cannot say enough about the way the animals love Lisa and her ability to communicate with animals is uncanny. Furthermore, while training my dog, she trained me to continue teaching him effectively. Nothing short of amazing. I cannot recommend Lisa highly enough. If there were 10 stars she would get 10 stars!
Lisa has taken care of my 2 dogs at my home in San Pedro several times in the last 10 years. She keeps a copy of my house key at all times. Lisa is a professional and she is trustworthy with my most precious furbabies. She has great knowledge and understanding of animal behaviors so that she can assess the needs of your animal while you are absent. Lisa is great and I highly recommend her.
I have used Lisa’s pet sitting for over 20 years. She is without a doubt the most loving caring responsible Pet sitter I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I had two aging cats and a job that took me out of town at least one week out of 2 months. Lisa’s knowledge of cat behavior and cat health was so helpful when dealing with my aging cats. Now that I have a two-year-old rather large dog Lisa again to the rescue. She has taught and trained my new dog to be obedient and a complete pleasure to be around. She is truly super well rounded With really anything that has four legs. I feel so lucky to of Met Lisa 20 years ago.
Lisa provided in home dog care for my Willie for the last 10 years until he passed away in August. In fact, I think she loved him as much as I did! I never worried about him while he was in Lisa's care. The quality of her service was self evident every time I returned and saw his precious face. His happy welcome whenever she came made it clear that I had made the right choice to trust her with my precious pet. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a caring pet giver who really understands how to interact with dogs in a manner that allows them to feel safe. My Willie was fearful of strangers and had trouble trusting. From the first introduction, Lisa was able to win his trust because she interacted with him in a manner that wasn't threatening. I was overjoyed as we had tried other sitters who couldnt get past the front door. They didn't want to invest their time into building a relationship with him. I will continue to use Lisa when I'm ready to get my next companion. Thank you Lisa for taking such good care of my Willie.
Lisa had been taking care of my pets for over 30 years, many cats and a dog. I have been very happy with her service, she is professional and it is obvious she loves her work and your pets. I highly recommend her her for when you need a pet sitter. You will be happy too
We first met Lisa at agility training for our dogs in 2010. She impressed us with her compassion with her dogs. She treated them well and they responded positively to her. We started using her for pet sitting in 2011 and every year since then. Her prices are reasonable, she is always on time and takes great care of our 2 dogs (Minnie and Gus). They love her. As an example we were at the Terraces recently and Lisa happened to walk by. Minnie became excited when she saw Lisa and actually jumped out of the car and chased after her to greet her. I don’t understand how anybody would have anything negative to say about her. She’s the best.
Highly recommend! We love and are so grateful to Ally McPets for providing high-quality, easy-to-book care for our guinea pigs. Jill is great to work with and our sitter Jordan always does an amazing job. It’s a huge relief to know that when we go out of town, our pets are in good hands. We especially love the service reports with pictures! ♥️
We went on vacation for over 2 weeks and left our cat, Edward, with Ally McPets. We couldn’t be happier! Every night we received a detailed report and adorable photos! Katrina did an AMAZING job. I will recommend Ally McPets to all of my friends and we will be using this service again. Ally McPets gave us peace of mind.
We started using Ally McPets this year after moving to their service area. We have 2 dogs and usually request drop-in visits. We receive pictures and report cards very quickly after the visits are completed. Our sitter, Carol, is great and it has been really easy to work with both her and Jill. Highly recommend!
New clients to Ally McPets and we loved the service. We highly recommend them as they are very caring and knowledgeable professionals. We were away for a week, Rose our sitter, sent us daily updates and pictures of our fur baby. We will definitely use their services again.
We have used Ally McPets for 3 years and their service is excellent. They came out for an initial consultation to meet our pets and have taken great care of them wherever we are gone for a few days or a few weeks. After each visit they send an email update with pictures and even bring mail and packages inside. We fully trust Amber and Jill with our pets!
Amazing service! It was our first time to leave our cat home alone for over two days, but since the meet and greet meeting with Jill I knew i could trust them and Ms. Cookie would be in good hands. They were very responsive form day 1, very professional and thorough during the meet and greet appointment, when they took notes on our cat's habits. They send you a daily report with pics that really makes you know someone is actually taking care of your pets. We were away for almost three weeks and we never felt worried for our cat, we knew she was getting the best care possible. We will keep using Ally McPets and we'll recommend them to our firends.
Amazing company. This was my first time using Ally McPets services and I am very happy with the care they provided for my pets. They were quick to respond to my initial email and were very professional during the meet& greet. They took notes and asked questions regarding the needs for my two birds and guinea pig. During the week we were out of town I received daily reports with pictures that assured me my pets needs were met. I look forward to using their services when I go out of town and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for the best care for their pets. Ollie, Sophia and Winter are so grateful to have had Adrienne take care of them.
Ally McPets is a godsend for those trying to arrange care for their pets when drawn out-of-town for fun or work! We were scrambling to find someone who could care for a 10-week year old kitten we rescued two weeks before a previously scheduled vacation. The kitten had warmed up to us after having being abandoned and we were concerned our absence would set him back (possibly permanently). Ally McPets saved the day. The kitten took to the person they assigned to feed and visit him. While we were away, we enjoyed the daily reports and pictures that were sent. When we returned, it was like the kitten never missed a beat. Thank you Ally McPets for being there!
Jill from Ally McPets is the best! For the past 3 years, Jill has consistently provided top level of service. She is organized, dependable, and compassionate, and can even administer medications while we're away. I love that Jill is so quick to respond. Whether it's a request for a pet sitting date or asking her to check if I left the garage door open in my rush to the airport, I get a response quickly. Jill is a true professional and perfect for the job.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALLY McPETS. Jill and her team at Ally McPets have been my trusted pet sitter for more than 7 years. She's almost like a member of the family. It is such a comfort to know Ally McPets is looking in on our cats when we're away, giving them much needed attention, (medicine when necessary), refreshing food and water, cleaning their litter boxes and also other light duties such as bringing in mail and keeping an eye on the house. Jill is also very responsive for those times when we haven't been able to give her much advance notice to arrange service. We're so grateful for her flexibility. Plus, she and her team are really nice people - an absolute pleasure to do business with. FIVE STAR PLUS!
I just want to state how pleasantly surprised I was with the service provided by WalknRoll. Everyone I talked to throughout the setup/application process was professional, responsive, and friendly. When I dropped my guy Mickey off and met Midori, I was immediately comfortable knowing he would be staying in a beautiful home with a genuinely sweet sitter. Midori and her Family sent me pictures of Mickey playing, resting, and going on walks. I could tell he was having an incredible time. I’m so glad I found Walk n Roll. I’ll definitely be using them in the near future and I know Mickey will be excited to see all his friends again.
Tish and Team are awesome! We completely trust them to take care of our pup and use them every time we need a dog sitter. Very satisfied with their services.
couldnt even get my foot in the door. I tried to set up a new pet appointment. I think Tish was having a bad day & i made a mistake of trying to get information close to closing time. she's successively discouraged me from proceeding with the process. it's clear they do not need your business.
My family found themselves in a very tight spot, and needed care for our four pups right away! Tish and Tissa moved mountains to help us out, and were an integral part for several months of providing care in one way or another for us, whether it be transporting them to and from the vet, long term boarding, and spoiling them with love and snuggles! When we were able to get back to them, they were very happy and you could tell they had been cared for beautifully! Thank you ladies for all you do!
We have been using Walk N Roll Pet Sitting since our Golden Retriever, Sophie, was a puppy and have had such a positive experience. Our primary sitter, Midori and her family, are amazing and the consistent updates on social media let us know that Sophie is enjoying her time while we are away. I highly recommend Walk N Roll.
Tish and Anissa at Walk N Roll came through for me and my pup big time at the last minute when I had a sudden surgery that had an extensive recovery time. I couldn't care for my dog and was in a panic of what to do. They were there for us every step of the way, even when recovery didn't go as easily as planned, they were able to accommodate and keep my baby safe in their care longer so I could focus on getting better. I could see in the photos that my pup was happy, relaxed, and well cared for. They were flexible and compassionate and always had my dog's best interest at heart. This is a really first class operation and I highly recommend Walk N Roll Pet Sitting without hesitation. Thanks for caring for Rio!
At Walk N Roll, our dog was treated like one of the family, and she received so much love and attention. While she was there for a 2 week stay, we were sent photos regularly of our dog going on outings, or relaxing at home. This helped to keep my children calm, knowing that their beloved pet was in good hands. When our return flights were suddenly canceled, they were very gracious and accommodating, which was such a relief! Knowing that our rescue dog was safe and loved, in a caregivers home (and not in a boarding facility in a small cage with a dog run), gave us so much comfort. As testament to the care she received, our dog is now missing her Walk N Roll pet sitter!
Leaving my golden retriever, Ginger, for two weeks felt like I was leaving my daughter behind, but when I saw how well cared for she was by Midori and family through social media posts, including both pictures and videos, I knew she was in the best of hands. In fact, I have already scheduled Ginger to stay with her again for my next upcoming trip. I would absolutely recommend Walk N Roll Pet Sitting and Dog Walking to anyone needing dog sitting or walking.
Walk N Roll watched our two labradoodles over the Christmas and New Year holidays. Our trip was relaxing now that Tish and Anissa were taking good care of our dogs. We received photos almost everyday, and they went out of their way to kept us posted. Will definitely use their services again!
Our black lab had a great vacation at Walk N Roll Pet Sitting. He stayed with Tish, and her chocolate lab and 2 Pugs, for 10 days. Tish kept us posted via mail as to how he was doing during his stay, and included several pictures, which our kids enjoyed receiving. It was comforting to know that while we were out of town, our dog was in such good hands, enjoying Tish's backyard and being able to play with her own dogs. It was quite obvious to us that Tish is a real dog person, and we highly recommend her. Your pet will be well cared for and given lots of attention while staying with Tish.
Our experience with WAG was awesome. Agent explained all the options and services which made us feel confident in becoming a member. On the first visit for our dog Compton he had fun. They provide pictures of activities during the stay and you can sign up with the convenience app. The staff is welcoming, friendly, professional and very caring. Thank you so much for your exceptional customer service. We boarded Compton for 4 days while we were out of town everyday Wag sent us a picture and updates about the awesome time he was having in all day play. We also had him groomed it was just a wonderful experience he’s so energetic and excited when we return for pick up. We appreciate the entire staff for being so caring and dedicated to him and all the other family pets. See you soon !!!!
This place is probably a little more an expensive than other boarding places, but the service is so worth it! The staff is very friendly, pics were sent everyday of my pups, and just overall a great experience. I think my two pups were quite happy. To the staff, Mortimer and Maya say thank you.
Wag Hotel is a wonderful place for my dogs. They love going and the staff is top notch. Very thorough about our dogs care. You can tell they love what they do. I always appreciate the check ins and photos. I know my babies are in good hands and I can enjoy my vacation knowing they are well care for. Thank you Wag staff in Carson CA!
My dog used to go to the Doggie daycare in Gardena, but I needed to find the Doggie Daycare, which is closed to my home. Anyway, I was searching on the Google website, and I found the Wag Hotels in Carson, CA. They had the promotion that my dog could try for 2days free. I made an appointment for the trial. Then, I took my dog to the Wag Hotel. When we arrived there, it was a big building which was like a real hotel. And it was next to the 405 Freeway. Also, they had a huge parking lot, so I didn't have problems finding the parking space. When I entered the Wag Hotel, It was just like a regular hotel. They had a big lobby, which was displayed with all kinds of dog supplies and the Halloween decorations. And the reception area, they had a nice couch and they offered the coffee & tea beverages for the pet parents. They offered three types of daycare to meet the needs of your dog. All day play plus, day stay & one -one-one. Also, they offered special care for the dog and had behavioral or medical reason. Then, they offered the boarding service, too. They open 24-hour a day. Erin, who was a manager, helped me with the registration. She was very friendly, professional, and attentive. She recommended that my dog should try the half day one-on-one care, which was 5 hours of daycare. The daycare rate was $31.00, which was a really good price. One- on- One care was for a dog who wanted to stay in the room, and the staff was taking care of the dog. Your dog could order special treats from your own room. Just like the regular room services. Also, your dog could have various activities. This was really interesting dog daycare. My dog was not a social butterfly, so one-on-one was the perfect care for him. Anyway, I went to take care of my business, and I came back to the hotel to pick up my dog. My dog was excited to see me. He seemed that he had a good time. They said that my dog did well at the hotel. I was glad that he did well. If you are a pet parent, I would like to recommend the Wag Hotel for your dog. This dog daycare is inexpensive, has nice dog daycare, and is closed to the 405 freeway. And they would take good care of your dog and treat your dog like a VIP!!! Also they have excellent customer service too. services for your dog.
This place is wonderful. I have taken my Bulldog here for a year and a half now, with stays as long as two weeks. He is dog aggressive and is very strong so I worried about finding him a safe and secure place to stay when I'm out of town. Their Special Care program is top notch and I get the best Pet Memories sent to me while he's there. I just dropped him off today and I've already received 4 updates! Can't thank Wag Carson enough!
So grateful to the WAG hotel Carson staff. My family member had an unexpected emergency hospitalization and I was able to drop my fur baby off last minute. The staff, as always took great care of her, but also graciously allowed me to extend her stay on a day by day basis as needed. I appreciate the flexibility of 24h drop off and pick up availability. Would definitely recommend WAG foe any pet care needs. In addition, they have a great groomer Tiffany who does really cute cuts!
Murphy LOVES the Wag Hotel in Carson. The second we pull into the parking lot his tail wags and he tries to get out of the car ASAP. The staff is wonderful especially Erin and Michelle. They’re always kind and helpful. You receive 1-2 pics a day letting you know your pet is in good hands. You can also log into their live camera if you want. At the end of the day when I pick Murphy up he’s tired from all the fun he has. It really puts my mind at ease knowing he’s in good care. I’ve tried other options, like Rover, and even though this is about a 20 min drive for me each way it’s well worth it!
Our dog loves the Wags hotel. She has a great time there and is so exhausted by the time she gets home because she's just running around all day having a great time. The perk of this place is we can also watch them on the live cam. Staff is amazing when you call for updates.
Wag is a fantastic brand and this location is wonderful! I’ve had my pup at one in NorCal, Denver and others and this one tops the list! They were accommodating (she was there for 10+ days and I needed to ship extra Rx food to them and did so smoothly!), kind, dependable and even ended the stay with a full report card! The daily photos are the best!
Took my dog to Wag for the first time to daycare. I was anxious because she had never been to daycare. We went ahead and checked out the place a few days ahead. Michelle and Crystal were so warm and friendly and answered all our questions and concerns. Most of all they were very reassuring. My dog's daycare went very well and I was very pleased . I will continue to take her there. The place is well organized and clean. I observed all the pet owners walking in and out seemed very happy. Thank you Southbay Wag Staff!
I do not know where to start... since joining Melissa's Mutt Hutt earlier last year, Melissa and her team were very welcoming and made it know they were excited for me to join them. Everyone is very helpful, training was informative, which lead to me never feeling uncomfortable branching on my own. I have had been lucky to work with great clients and their pups. I mainly board dogs in my home, and they are all well trained and have not had any issues. You should feel 100 percent comfortable having MMH take care of any of your pets!
We have been working with Melissa's Mutt Hutt for the past 6 months for daily walks and last minute boarding at a walker's house when away for the weekend. They are very responsive communicating through the app or via email/text when last minute and send wonderful updates. I can tell from the way they welcome my pet when they come to pick her up that these people are genuine dog lovers and passionate about the work they do.
Since working with Melissa’s Mutt Hutt for almost 1 year, I have shared so much love and joy with these pets. I have been thoroughly trained with each of my accounts so that I can confidently carry out walks and visits independently while clients carry on with their work, vacations or other plans as they arise. We use a brand new app that allows clients to communicate with us, schedule appointments, and share the cutest pics of their fur babies! I treat the time I spend with my dogs and cats as more than a job because I know how precious they are to their humans. It’s more like a hangout, and I often wish we could extend our time together.
I can’t stress how much I love this business. I’ve used them for both walks and sitting for my two dogs and they are just over and above fantastic every time. Really like the sitter Kaia we had last time.
After working for two years with another dog walking/pet sitting company, we moved out of their normal area of service, and had to find pet care on short notice. With a shy and anxious dog who is nervous of strangers and sometimes reactive to other dogs on leash, finding a trusted dog walker is no easy task. I found MMH on Yelp and gave them a call. Melissa called me back within 24 hours, and Sarah came out that week to meet me and my dog and assured me that Allison would be able to take care of our pup. As we still had a few walks scheduled with our previous walker, they even coordinated a time for Allison to join our old walker on one of their last visits and help our dog adjust to the change. Allison is amazing, and we are so lucky to have found her! She took the time to get to know and build trust with our dog. Our dog loves her, she sends the best photos and updates after each visit, and she really goes above and beyond to keep us informed of any concerns. We’ve worked with lots of great dog walkers over the years, but she is the best when it comes to communication. We have regularly scheduled weekly walking, but MMH has also always been able to accommodate our one-off requests. This is one of the benefits of working with a larger company. If we need a one-off walk, and Allison isn’t available, MMH has always been able to find someone, and Allison regularly introduces our dog to other walkers so that there are multiple people who can fill in when needed. We’ve also used MMH for overnight, in-home care, and again, MMH has always been able to accommodate our requests and we’ve had positive experiences with all the walkers/sitters so far.
Melissa's Mutt Hutt & Cat Shack has been serving the beloved four legged family members of the South Bay area since 2004 and it is of little surprise. From top to bottom, each member of this team is passionate about providing the highest level of service and care. It has been my experience that the management team goes out of their way to make sure that each client is well informed about fees, policies, and services. They return messages in a reasonable amount of time and make sure that any and all concerns or questions are thoroughly addressed. The staff are all carefully selected, vetted, and trained to provide the highest level of care while maintaining safe handling practices. The attention taken to ensure each staff member is trained to handle any situation they may be confronted with while caring for a family's fur babies is extraordinary. Their devotion to animals and advocacy to provide a gold standard for care is apparent in every aspect of this business; from the management team and staff, to the range of care that is provided. This is a phenomenal group of people. I highly recommend using their services.
I will start by saying I rarely take the time to write a review unless I feel it's necessary or worthy. Melissa's Mutt Hutt is absolutely worthy of 5 stars!!!!! As so many of us feel, our fur babies are family members so trusting anyone else to care for them can be difficult. From my first meeting with Melissa I knew my dog would be in the best of hands. She is so passionate about what she does and is professional, educated, and CARES. She treats my dog like her own! I have used both her dog walking and boarding services and what a gift it is to feel my girl is in completely responsible hands. With each day comes daily photos, thorough notes and communication, and LOTS of love! If you are looking for a dog walker or boarding care, I sincerely recommend this service!
My review is primarily for the management team consisting of Melissa, Elise, and Jackie (note the boarders have been largely good). My concerns with this business can be summed up as: lack of fee transparency/moving goal posts and terrible communication. I recently relocated to the area and my anxious senior pups were exhibiting signs of aggression towards one another, which I disclosed to the team ahead of our first boarding appt. Fortunately, both boarding visits went well and the second boarder raved about how sweet and calm both dogs were throughout the visit, with only some minor growling one time. Fees: Upon booking my first boarding appt, the management team added $10 per day for medical administration (for longer stays, this would amount to a day or more of total fees). I contacted them to understand why it was being added as I've never had such a fee in all the years I've been working with professional boarders, and their meds simply get mixed in with their food and there's never been a problem with them not eating it. I was told it was "industry standard" and because of the extra effort required. I reluctantly agreed but soon learned it is not industry standard (all 6 of the local boarding businesses I contacted do not charge such a fee), and this felt disingenuous. I recently made a number of additional bookings, with two bookings in march separated by 2.5 days, and without my approval, they added two additional days of dog boarding to connect the two visits. I requested an adjustment to the booking thinking it was an honest mistake, only to receive a very condescending email from management telling me in the future they would automatically book additional days if stays were not separated by 2+ days because "its in the dog's best interest", "the dogs don't eat and won't take their meds", "it causes more behavioral problems", etc... none of which were issues that my dogs have had under their care that have been reported to me or under the care of other boarders. I contacted management again to understand why their contract terms were changing and again was met with the same condescending attitude of "we've been caring for animals for XX years, we know better than you do." Communication: There have been several instances of what I would describe as clunky (at best), if not altogether unprofessional and frankly disrespectful communication by the entire management team, including Melissa herself who decided to start insulting me over the phone when I pushed back on the new 2+ days stay separation requirement. They claim their med fees are industry standard, and they know that's not true. Maybe some other boarders do it, but don't tell your customers something is industry standard when you know it's not just so they'll be ok with it. If you push back on anything with them, they'll immediately become defensive and dismissive, speaking to you like you have no idea how to care for your dogs - citing potential risks and issues that have not otherwise been noted or are issues at all. And if you persist and continue advocating for yourself as a customer, good luck, you'll be met with all manner of excuse making about why things are your fault and even likely get the owner herself insulting you over the phone. I've never had the misfortune of working with a management team like this, so I will gladly be taking my business elsewhere. 1/3/24 Update: There's Melissa's response. Not surprised at all and won't take the time to point out the multiple lies and inconsistencies (I have receipts) or her not addressing key concerns I outlined and instead resorting to insults and personal attacks... again. Ask yourself if that's the kind of business you want to support. I personally won't and hope anyone who does business with them doesn't have service issues because this is the person you'll get to try to resolve them with. Also note that many of the 5 star reviews here are from her employees and not customers, including several that were left since I left my review to inflate their scores. Again not surprised.
I've been working with Melissa's Mutt Hutt for 3+ years now for my 2 dogs. I couldn't ask for a more dependable, trustworthy, personalized and flexible company -- all things that are important for someone like me that travels a great deal for work. As a new client, Melissa will come to your house, meet your dogs, and ask detailed questions about them. She'll then work to make sure your dogs are 'matched' with a great Mutt-Hutter. There have been many instances where I have last minute travel -- and Melissa is always very accommodating. And when I travel I don't think twice because I know that she and her wonderful group of Mutt-Hutters will treat my dogs as they would their own -- so I never have to be worried. In addition to boarding services, my dogs are also walked multiple times a week -- which means I get a detailed note about how the dogs did on their walk when I get home from work! I treat my dogs like children -- so I mean it when I say that Melissa's Mutt Hutt has been wonderful and I won't think of anyone else to watch and walk my dogs!
Melissa's Mutt Hutt is the best. Melissa only walks one or two dogs at once. She believes in personalized care for the dog. She accommodates last minute petsits when you wanna leave town for a few days. I have been a dog walker/sitter for over 2 years. I have the best and the easiest and the happiest dogs ever. They are such a treat. Her prices are competitive and she is very reliable. Come rain or shine, we will take care of your pets
From the moment I opened the door I knew this was a great place for my pups. I was greeted warmly and I think I needed reassurance more than my dogs, Gracie & Jon Snow. They both passed the socialization and I soon took them to their 1st daycare on a Sunday. They’re already friendlier dogs on their walks and with strangers they don’t bark as much. They also slept well! I feel really confident to leave them at Canine Retreat for a quick getaway trip! They are making friends, too! Thanks, Canine Retreat! Everything has been thought of regarding your dog, well organized and intelligent, warm-hearted professionalism! A 10/10 or maybe an 11!
We love Canine Retreat. The staff is always so friendly. I feel so confident leaving my 11 year old pup there. They offer baths while they are there. So convenient. We appreciate all that they do! 🐶 …
We joined 6 months ago and it has been a beyond a wonderful experience having our Golden Retriever Retro be a part of Canine Retreat pack. Especially on days that rain and daylight savings combined when we are unable to take him to the Doggie Park it is perfect. Retro loves other dogs so much and being able to drop him off in early AM before work and pick him up after work is truly a God send. The staff are so very professional and I am always relieved to see him on the Webcam whenever I want. Retro gets so excited to go there everytime, he just cant wait to go have fun, and he adores the staff there. He lights up with a grin from ear to ear and he has it everytime we drop him off. Retro is definitely one happy guy to be there. If I could give them more than 5 stars 🌟 I would for sure!
Milo LOVES Tuesdays as he knows he gets to spend the day at CR. At 8:00 am he is sitting by the door waiting to get in the car. He has so much fun playing with the dogs and I am grateful that the staff is always present and interactive with the pups. We are very pleased.
We have been taking our dog here since November. I don’t have enough words or space to say how much we love bringing our precious pup to Canine Retreat. The staff is so friendly and loves our little pup like their own. The dogs are separated by size and are supervised the whole time. You can watch them on camera and it’s been so fun to watch our shy, scared puppy grow into a confident member of the pack. We cannot get her out of the car fast enough when we arrive. It’s her favorite place other than home. We highly recommend canine retreat. We have complete peace of mind when we leave her there. It’s a great place to socialize your puppy. We love you Canine Retreat!
I feel more comfortable going on trips knowing that my dogs are well taken care of and I love that I can watch them via webcam! Casey is always so welcoming and it makes me feel good that the dogs are always excited to see her! She is truly great at what she does!
We are always happy to drop our sweet fur girl off at Canine Retreat! We feel confident she will be well taken care of and have lots of fun too!
Good place for doggy daycare. They have overnight boarding as well. There are webcams so you can monitor your dog 🐶 online. …
We are so happy with Canine Retreat and most importantly our sweet fur baby loves it also, she has had a couple of day stays and we also have just recently gone out of town and we left her in the GREAT care of all the fur baby care givers. We were able to check in on her now and then through their online camera system, such a fabulous way to stay connected to your fur baby...we and our fur baby Lex,i LOVES Canine Retreat...❤❤❤
Not really a place you want to take your dog that’s under the age of two. They do a test to see how well your dog socialize they put my one year-old dog in with older Dogs who didn’t have the same type of energy that he had. It was a little odd. I was hoping since they did put him with an older dog that the older dogs would correct him so he can learn appropriate behavior, but instead, the old dogs just stay in a corner. Tried this one out because it was closer to home. The staff is really nice just really odd that they don’t put dogs in weight class and age group. Wanted to come here because it was closer than the one I go to typically, but I’ll just stick to the one I go to in San Clemente because my little guy is able to have a good time.
5 Stars for Sitting Pretty and Ashley! I have been taking my two year old Malshi here since he was a puppy on the recommendation of my trainer. I couldn't be happier. Ashley cares so much about her dogs. Her staff goes beyond the call of duty to meet every pup's needs. Thank you Ashley and everyone at Sitting Pretty!
We LOVE Sitting Pretty!! I have entrusted my last 4 dogs (aka my babies!) to their care when we are out of town and for day care every so often. I can leave them with peace to know how wonderfully they are cared for. And my dogs have the best times there with all their "friends!" In fact, my little guy is going for a play date today - when we are a few blocks away he knows & gets so excited!! I highly recommend Sitting Pretty!!!
Love this place, it is big and the staff is friendly. I’ve been having a lot of work done at home and this is a great place for my doggies to hang out.
Ashley is passionate about what she does. I recommend her services. Your dogs will feel like they never left home!
Ashley and her staff are the best!! I always know that my Lexi is loved and cared for.
Awesome daycare. Ashley is the best. Really cares about the dogs in her care and treats them like family!
Ashley is just amazing and such a sweetheart! She takes such amazing care of the pups in her possession.
Ashley handles my handful of a dog like a true artist. We love everything about this place!
I am very comfortable leaving my fur baby with Ashley and her awesome team. I couldn't do it without them.
Ashley and team are fabulous. My Blu cant wait to get thru the entryway.
Paws deserves 10 stars. They are the best and only place to take your fur baby to and we would not take our pup anywhere else. Louise (owner) is an Angel. She can read a pup as soon as she sees them and the attention to detail in every aspect of your stay here is amazing. The whole TEAM at Paws are amazing, they are professional, caring, loving and you can tell that each and everyone cares about your pups stay and will do anything to make it a tremendous visit.
We are so thankful to have found Paws Chateau, For Charlie Brown out sweet 10 months puppy Finding a dog lover we can trust is hard when you think no one can love your pup the way you do. We Highly recommend her services. The staff friendly Charlie was sad to leave he’s friends. Thank you 🙏
Louise and her staff at Paws Chateau are the absolute best! They care so much about all the dogs playing and staying at Paws. Safety is very important to them. Communication is always so easy. We are very grateful to have found Paws Chateau. My Labrador has been coming here for nine years.
Paws Chateau has just been completely amazing. We take our dog, Toby, there for day camp once in a while. It keeps him entertained, and we can run errands all day without having to worry about him feeling lonely at home. We recently had him stay overnight because we had our wedding. He was definitely a little scared, but Louis was so attentive. Louis has interacted with Toby and knows him personally so it was really nice that Toby went to her at the start of his stay to help ease his nerves. When he got his report card back at pick up, he got an A+! He made some new friends, and they said he was so brave and willing to cuddle with anyone. We absolutely recommend Paws Chateau if you’re looking for a place that will actually care about your dog’s well being during their stay.
Coco & Maszi had a great stay at Paws Chateau. It was very easy to get a boarding reservation and my pups had a great time in doggie day care.
Ely my 16 month old rescue was treated like a Prince. It was his first boarding in his life so he was anxious at night in his room. He loved it when the staff came in to wipe his paws and gave him a treat. He looked happy playing with the other dogs. One way to tell if he enjoyed being there was he wasn’t pulling me to get out when I arrived. I’m buying more personal play and cuddle time for Ely next time. It’s awesome that I can purchase more special personalized activities for my precious one. I’ve shopped may places and Paws Chateau is the place I trust with my baby.
The thing I love most about Paws Chateau is how much attention they pay to the dogs. This place is very organized and very on top of everything that has to be done to care for the dogs. My dog loves to come here and drags me out of the car to get to the door! Everyone I have met is super friendly and shows a lot of love to the dogs. My one and only dissatisfaction is: I wish the camera showed the top of the room better since that is where the dogs hang out for the most part. Some days it would take a long time just to get a glimpse of my dog. Other than that, I love this place and would not leave my dog anyplace else! Thank you ❤️
We absolutely LOVE Paws Chateau, Louise and the Paws crew. They are THE BEST! Our dog gets SO excited when we arrive and tugs on his leash to enter and play with his Paw friends. We confidently leave our dog knowing the loving care he receives when there.
Living in Torrance and choosing Paws Chateau in Huntington Beach for all our dog's play days and boarding says it all! Louise and the team at Paws are professional, knowledgeable, and truly caring. Paws Chateau is simply fantastic—the only place we trust with our dog. Thank you, Paws! ❤️
My pup Toki always has a GREAT time when he's there! He doesn't even look back to say goodbye when I drop him off, ha! But that's all you can ask for when you're leaving your furry family member in someone else's care. He absolutely loves it there, and the staff are always helpful and lovely to speak with. Would absolutely recommend to someone looking for overnight stays or doggie daycare.
10/10 RECOMMEND Professional - Knowledgeable - Reliable - Friendly Like many dog parents going on vacation is difficult when trying to ensure your pets are well cared for in a loving and safe environment. TIFF provides just that and more! TIFF pet sat my 3 small dogs ages 16, 15, 3 from 9/1-9/9 in her home. She had a comfy dog bed set up, fresh water bowl, and toys ready to welcome the pups. Her complex has a fenced in courtyard where the dogs can easy sniff around and get some exercise. Very nice neighborhood for walks too. TIFF put my worries at ease answering all my questions at our meet and greet prior to their stay. She even went the extra mile and visited the pups at my home a few weeks before so they can get more familiar with her. While I was out of the country we received text/photo updates and a video call. Unexpectedly there was a heat wave and could sense how well she was handling the situation and making sure the dogs were as comfortable as possible considering the circumstances. We are thankful to Tiff for providing such great service and will book again.
Cannot recommend Tiff's services enough! She takes care of our fur family whenever we're out of town. She provides constant updates and photos/videos, and is especially good at training and socializing the pups all together. We've been repeat clients for 2 years now with zero issues, and our dogs LOVE her. Will always recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter/boarder.
Tiff is our go to dog walker when we are too busy or out of town. She is dependable and sends me updates and photos of her time caring for Bella and Brutus. She has trimmed Bella's nails for me when asked. I appreciate that she has expanded her services to include pawpedis. :) It is nice to work with someone you trust.
Tiff has been essentially a co parent of my dog and I trust her more with knowing how to take good care of her than myself. My dog loves going there so I feel zero guilt if we need to leave town and I'm so grateful for Tiff. She's extremely flexible when things come up (eg new baby seen here!) and if it weren't for her, I probably wouldn't be able to have a dog or kid or at least one would be neglected 😑. Also she does her due diligence to make sure whoever she is boarding gets along well with others. Thank you Tiff!! Almost don't want to recommend you to others since then you may get too busy but I try to behave ethically and unselfishly 😛. Highly recommend! Especially if you have a dog you don't want to leave overnight at a daycare.
Tiff is everything that you want in a pet sitter and if I could give her more than 5 stars, I would. We have a Siberian husky with significant separation anxiety issues and I think it says it all when our dog can't wait to leave the comfort of our car to run up to Tiff's door :) Tiff is incredibly responsible, dependable, and goes out of her way to accommodate our needs. There have been a few times where our plans got delayed and we had to pick our dog up later than expected. However, Tiff was so understanding and flexible and made sure that we didn't rush, worry, or cut our activities short. She treats our dog like one of her own- giving him lots of love and pets, taking him to the dog park, and even treating him to Puppuccinos. We checked out a LOT of doggy daycares when we first adopted our dog and Tiff's Doggy Daycare & Pet Boarding is by far the BEST. We have used her services for over a year now for both daycare and pet boarding and we have a great experience every time.
Tiff and Jimmy are honest, reliable, and terrific pet sitters. When I was in the hospital, they came to my home twice a day to feed, clean up after, and socialize with my beloved dog, macaw, and parrot. Tiff kept in touch with me daily via e-mail and/or text letting me know how my critters were doing and even sent photos! I highly recommend Tiff’s Doggy Daycare!!! Bonnie
Tiffany is absolutely wonderful. I feel safe and my best friend Is when he is at Tiff’s Doggie Daycare & Pet Boarding. I use her service for boarding my buddy for several days at a time. I have never had a single issue. She an awesome caregiver flyover my Kobi!! Love you guys!!
Tiffany was great with my dog. She took the time to do meet and greet (she really took the time to get to know my dog and I was well informed as well). I feel VERY comfortable leaving my baby with her. Tiffany sent updates and pictures during the stay, that ease my mind greatly since it was our first time. My dog seems very happy on the day I dropped him off. It seemed like he was not in the hurry to go home with me when I picked him up, lol. That's how comfortable my dog felt under Tiffany's care. Our plan changed last minute and Tiffany was very kind to accommodate our pick up time. Tiffany's awesome care gave me the peace of mind when leaving my dog with her while I traveled for work. I was able to focus on my work and was not worried about my dog at all. I will definitely use Tiffany again for my future needs.
Butters stayed with Tiff a year ago and loved her. We now also have a 60 lb. bull dog. I was concerned that he was too big, but Tiff wasn't worried, and from the pictures we got from her, he seemed to love her as much as Butters. If you don't want your dogs at a mass confusion dog hotel, Tiff is the one to go to!! Personal attention and loving care!!
Tiff went above and beyond to help take care of my dog during my trip out of state. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a reliable sitter for my rowdy 6 month old pitbull puppy, but Tiff's experience and understanding was exactly what I needed to put my mind at ease. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable sitter.
