Our Great Dane Layla loves The Pet Wagon. She goes twice a week for doggie daycare and we always board her there as well. We have found all of the staff to be very attentive to Layla's needs. We love having The Pet Wagon as part of our family.❤️

Staff is great! They take care of my 19 year old dog as if she were their own. My 2 year old gets a great romp with other dogs. The eagerly go there for boarding or day care

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Staff, facility and quality care of Jolene and Jeter. Socializing Jolene with other dogs and people better her overall demeanor. Also, knowing she is safe and happy while we are working is priceless!

I was a nervous wreck leaving my baby while I was on vacation. The staff was so understanding and talked me through everything at drop off to help ease my mind. They sent me pictures of him every day/evening and let me know how he was. He came home happy and tired after making new friends. We will definitely use them for boarding again, and maybe even a daycare trip or two as a treat for our pup!

Everyone is very friendly. They obviously love my dog and take great care of him at their doggie daycare service. Quick drop off and pick up. My dog and I both give 5 stars, thank you Pet Wagon!!

This place. I have no words. They are truly THE BEST!!! My puppy absolutely loves this place and they care about their animals. I have no concern when I drop off my pup and I have complete faith in this company watching our dog! They know how to treat your dog/cat like family. The owners are honest and kind. I have kept my dogs at their different locations and have experienced respect and compassion at each place. My dogs are a handful, and The Pet Wagon facilities are the only people I trust with my dogs.

We had an incredible experience boarding our cat at this establishment. The facility was immaculate, and the surroundings were incredibly serene, situated far away from busy roads. This peaceful environment, free from traffic and noise, is undoubtedly advantageous for the well-being of pets. The staff was absolutely wonderful and took exceptional care of our beloved Simba. We were completely worry-free and able to fully enjoy our vacation knowing that our furry friend was in great hands. Amber made our recent trip out of town so much more enjoyable as we knew our senior pup was in good hands! Amber sent timely updates and plenty of photos. Lola & Company will be our go to per care service for all future travel!

So happy to have found Amber at Lola and company. She is definitely an animal lover. I have dogs and cats and she’s great with both. My one dog is grumpy with people and usually likes no one but really warmed up to her. We felt completely at ease while away knowing Amber was taking such good care of our animals. We loved receiving updates with pictures of our pets. Highly recommend.

It took me almost 9 years of no vacations and running home during lunch breaks before I finally broke down and gave Amber a call. I have trust issues, especially when it comes to my dogs! Since then, Amber has been coming by everyday to check on my Butters 🐾🩵. Although timid and shy at first, he is now warming up to her and I feel less stressed and guilty about caring for him. I am so lucky to have found Amber and would highly recommend her.

Lola & Company (Amber) has been pet sitting for us since we adopted Bentley almost 3 years ago. She takes such good care of our fur baby! We are confident that she loves him like we do which means we can rest assured he is in good care when we are away. Our experience with Lola & Company for cat sitting was fantastic! Amber is professional, reliable, caring and kind - definitely an animal lover. We were away for about 10 days and returned to find our cat Joey to be very healthy, happy and well-adjusted. We appreciated the pics from each visit!

Amber is amazing!! Our cat is usually very shy around strangers but he loves her!! She always provides great updates with a report of how the visit went. Kris and I whole-heartedly recommend Amber for pet sitting! She is the best of the best in Wilmington. Our dog, Bear, used to be nervous when we'd leave town. Now that he knows Amber takes care of him when we travel, he's relaxed when we leave and relaxed when we get home. This alone says so much about Amber and how much TLC she shows the animals in her care. The app used for scheduling, payment, and updates is easy to use and keeps everything well organized on both ends. Amber updates with photos included at every visit. And best of all, she offers over-night pet sitting. You can't get any better than that! Two thumbs up and five stars!

Amber was absolutely amazing. She accommodated all of our needs for our dogs. She was very friendly and even took the time to get one of our dogs who takes a minute to get used to new people extra love and time. She gave them treats and took them for walks. Amber even turned the TV on so they had some background music to listen too since it was dark. Thank you so much for taking care of our pups for our wedding day! 🙂🙂🙂

Dropped off my pups for an out of town wedding...This was the second time I used them and love the location and price. I do wish the staff was onsite to allow use of the outdoor runs more than twice a day when my pups are used to having this access all day. Reviews below make good points, It is loud and front desk / phone staff don't give a warm and fuzzy about their concern for my call. My girls needed a bath after their stay. Another thing MANY other places have is camera access for my pups kennel. Overall will go back and DO recommend.

Great place! The staff was great when we dropped off. I feel that the dogs were well cared for during their stay. They even made a paw print craft which was a nice added touch. My only concern would be the employee who was working the front at pick up. She was kind of rude and kind of acted like we were bothering her by asking how our dogs did during their stay. No warm fuzzy feeling from her and only one word answers to any questions we had. Maybe she was just having a bad day but it made our experience a little less enjoyable.

How can you not love this place? We did doggy daycare for a few weeks and dogs were always excited to come back! Ashley is an awesome dog whisperer!

We've been taking our dog to Greenwood Pet Camp for years. They are wonderful to pets and their owners. We always get our dog groomed on the last day of her visit and they've even accommodated that when we came home a day early by fitting her grooming session in when we called them the day before to say we were picking her up early.

Sounded like many, many dogs barking. No idea how they housed that many. Check in staff was very impersonal and showed no interest in specific needs of dogs. Dogs were clean, no signs of fleas at check out time. Convenient location, and nice to be able to drop off for daycare while we visited the area

Very polite! They even let me bring her in two hours early so I could leave for vacation! Great grooming too! My dog looks brand new after they groomed her and it was cheaper than the last kennel I took her too. Kahlua didn't want to leave when I came to get her and I can tell she was in good hands. Great experience with boarding our dog. Staff was very responsive by phone and email while making reservations and friendly at drop off/pick up. Lots of positive things to say about our dog which was nice to hear. Would definitely recommend to others and use their services in the future.

Used Greenwood while at the beach for a week. I was happy with the service and my kitten obviously enjoyed herself. The staff was friendly and they loved on my kitten while she was visiting. We needed to drop off/pickup during odd hours and they were able to accommodate us. There was a small fee but it was nominal and worth the convenience.

This is a wonderful place set way back off the main road with plenty of trees and vegetation to block out the noise from passing vehicles. The staff are great folks. A special mention to Ashley who took care of my Great Pyr, George. He needed some serious attention in the grooming department, and she did not fail. She gave me some tips on maintaining his coat, which I appreciate. Please visit them for grooming, daycare, or boarding.

Awesome place. Our dog has needs a lot of special attention, and they accommodate all his "special requests." I'm starting to think he likes it better there then at home.

Alexis watched our 3 month old golden retriever puppy for a long weekend along with my boyfriends families cat and 1 year old golden retriever! She was so communicative and made us feel super comfortable leaving the pets in great hands. She also offered us a ton of tips that we still utilize today - she’s super knowledgeable and sweet! Highly recommend for any pet care needs!!

Alexis stayed at my house for a weekend to watch my sweet pup Miller while I was out of town. She did an incredible job & I could not be more pleased! She texted throughout the day(s) to update on how Miller was doing & shared lots of photos! She is very kind & goes above any beyond - she washed the bedding, brought my mail in, and took the trash out. She even left us flowers! Miller was very happy & relaxed upon my return! Will definitely be working with Alexis again :)

Alexis is THE BEST!!! There’s very few people we trust to watch our “baby” Loki, our 3-year-old German Shepard. We can always count on Alexis to give us complete peace of mind when we travel. She most recently watched him while we were away for a full week on our honeymoon, and getting pictures and knowing she was spoiling him just as we would while we were away allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our vacation. Alexis kept our Jack Russell, Max, for our week out of town and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Alexis was an incredible dog sitter! Our dog Bella was the happiest that I have ever seen her when we returned. She sent us pictures of Bella relaxing at home and out on walks. I was amazed and so very pleased with how much time that Alexis spent with Bella. Alexis is a caring and loving person which definitely comes through in her dog sitting activities!!!!!

Alexis cares so much about her charges, and is especially good for those pets who need a little extra TLC. She is totally professional, and nothing- not holidays, not Covid- gets in the way of taking care of the pets. Her online communications platform is superb for keeping in touch, no matter where you are traveling. Alexis commits all the way, is completely reliable, and is particularly good at improvising to meet the needs of the pet(s). For example, our pets arrived just before we had to travel. It turned out that we were not well set up for their care and feeding, and Alexis had both the initiative and expertise to source the things we needed- ones that we are still using and appreciate. Her experience with high-need pets really showed, as she had the patience, perseverance and experience to help our pets with some major adjustments. We came home to pets who were in better shape than we left them!

We had Alexis stay in our home, and pet sit our little dog Pinot for 5 days..Alexis was Amazing… She took wonderful care of our Home & Pinot. Alexis sent pictures & updates daily.. Michael is most definitely a Dog Whisperer! I have two puppies under one and that are very strong and opinionated. From the first time the puppies met Michael they could tell he was a good person they could trust. Since Michael has been walking them (and training the humans) everything has changed for the better…the puppies are easier to walk and everyone is much calmer! I had another “trainer” but nothing changed. Dogs know instinctively if a person is good and Michael and all he provides your animals is outstanding!

Michael did an exceptional job taking care of our two dogs over a long weekend. He was able to establish a good rapport with them and really put them at ease. It made our time away much more enjoyable knowing our dogs were in such capable hands.

Michael has been a Godsend. We are so grateful for him and he has quite a load here with 3 dogs 2 cats and 5 chickens. Always on time, professional and my dogs instantly were drawn to him. The daily videos we get are hilarious and heart warming. This experience goes far beyond that of a pet sitter, Michael is a pet Angel.

We recently started using Michael to walk our dog Scout. Let me start off by saying that I am an extremely picky dog mom when it comes to who takes care of my sweet boy. Scout is “literally” our only child. Michael has been nothing short of excellent! He is extremely easy to work with and schedule visits, has always been prompt, as well as very communicative about how the visit went with pictures and videos. We live in an apartment- and with all that energy and potty training in the works- Michael is such a relief to help us with walks a few times a week. Michael is awesome!!! We booked the wedding package with him and the entire process was smooth and worry-free. He picked up our loving Corgi at the Airbnb before the wedding, he brought him to the venue and stayed with him until his big reveal during the ceremony, and then escorted him around to see friends and family during cocktail hour until we wanted the pup in pictures. After that, he took him back to our Airbnb just like we asked! Everything went exactly to plan and it’s pretty easy to tell that he’s really good with dogs because our pup followed him around, listened well to him and seemed to really like him. I’d highly recommend Michael for any services he offers, but even for a big, stressful event like a wedding, he went above and beyond!

What a great experience! We boarded our Boone in September with pickup the day TPC#8 hit Bolivia. We got stopped by flood waters 1/2 mile from Adam's Folly. After 5 hours of sitting in a parking lot, we set out on foot to pick him up and they walked him to meet us halfway!! It was obvious they took great care of Boone during his stay! He was happy and hadn't lost weight! And...... they handled a stressful situation with the unexpected flooding very professionally. This is the third kennel we have tried and the BEST experience. We will be using their services again! Highly recommend!

Our large dog is always excited to go to Adam's Folly! And she is still happy when we pick her up. We don't like leaving her when we travel, but Adam's Folly makes it easier.

My 2 German Shepherd rescues love staying here! They are well cared for, highly recommend!

I brought my two dogs there for the first time this month. I did the research. I visited several kennels in the area unannounced. Some let me look around and some wouldn't permit me past reception claiming it was in case a dog jumped up. This was NOT the case with Adam's Folly. They took me for a tour then and there without hesitation. The facility is well shaded which was very important to me as my dogs are very much indoor dogs. They only go outside for long walks to exercise. Other than that, they are accustomed to air conditioning and comfy dog beds. They have air-conditioning and there are fans all over the place outside as well. It looked as though all dogs have alternating access to outdoor pens. There are all sorts of different types of kennels and options to accommodate anyone's needs. They can socialize, not socialize, whatever suits you and your dog's safety of course. At the end of the stay, both my dogs were shampooed. I've had this before at other places. Adam's Folly shampoo was thorough. I could see, feel and smell how clean they were. Pick up was smooth. Very happy thus far.

Great place to board pets. Our dogs love going...we call it the " Doggie Hotel" and our dogs get excited when they hear us say it.

Adam’s Folly Bed & Biscuit has been caring for our mini Golden Doodle for almost three years. We treat her as a member of our family and expect the same of anyone who we entrust with her care. Adam’s Folly B&B has done exactly that. Everyone there is happy and energetic and our Golden Doodle is always excited to see them. The care is what we expect, the facility cleanliness is outstanding, the animals all seem to be enjoying themselves, and the kennel has been very flexible when we have had emergencies. We highly encourage everyone to try Adam’s Folly B&B if you are in need of loving and professional care for your furry friends.

We have two great danes and last minute we needed them boarded for several days. Adams Folly Bed & Biscuit made those four days stress free! I have been using Adam’s Folly for boarding since 2005 and have left my dogs for up to two weeks. They are exceptionally nice and accommodating to my pets’ needs. Even when I have had elderly dogs, I know that they are receiving the best of care, individualized to their own needs. Jill and Sherry are true pet advocates in our community. The family suites have been helpful when I am boarding more than one dog. I am grateful for such a clean, well-run facility.

My dog has "fear aggression" and was kicked out of boarding places near us. Adams Folly can do "no contact" boarding which is perfect for my difficult girl. We vacation at Holden Beach and I am lucky I found a place to board her near our vacation spot that fits our needs. They took great care of her last year, I told them to call me and I would head over but they never needed to call.

I am a nervous dog mom and always hesitant to have anyone else care for my high maintenance dogs. That said, Sue and her team do a great job with my Aussies. The efficiency at the drop off is amazing so the dogs don’t stress. The many photos posted make me feel assured they are out and exercising and getting sunshine! The boarding suite we get is large and comfy and my dogs come home happy, albeit tired… they seem well cared for. I also like that Sue is an earlybird so they get out early each morning! Well Run Business!

Fred absolutely loves Pet Bazaar. And so do we...his humans. Top notch care. Dogs happiness, safety and comfort are top priorities. Love that pictures of all the pups are posted to FB throughout the day. Always fun to see what Fred is doing. Highly recommend. Happy Fred at Pet Bazar.

Ruger (lab mix) & Trevor (chihuahua mix) LOVE Pet Bazaar. They go running in every time because they are so excited to be there! And, when they board, it’s so reassuring to have someone there overnight with the dogs. We highly recommend them!!

Our dog LOVES coming to Pet Bazaar for doggie day care. They take great care of him, and even though we are only at Carolina Beach 3-4 times per year, they always remember him. Plus, they do a great job posting photos throughout the day so we can see how happy he is. And the staff is a joy to work with.

Strongly recommend! We've regularly taken our dog to Pet Bazaar since they first opened and cannot say enough good things about the services they provide. Their staff is professional, facility is clean and the safety and health of the dogs is clearly a top priority. They ensure the dogs are kept cool and hydrated in the summer heat using pools, a plethora of ice and sprinklers/misters throughout the yard. And have provided jackets/shelter in the winter months or rainy days. I take comfort that my dog is being well cared for even during long boarding stays. He still goes crazy at the phrase "day care" and is always a happy, tired boy when I pick him up. His, and all the dog's, daily experience is documented by the constant steam of photos uploaded to social media throughout the day; its also reassuring to see a yard full of staff in the background. Best daycare on this side of the Mississippi! It should also be mentioned that they are going above and beyond in their Covid19 procedures. Being able to provide their services during this difficult time is crucial to working families like ourselves and we are so grateful.

Lisa has been taking excellent care of our dogs and cat for several years. She always spends time playing with them and takes extra care with our blind cat. We travel frequently and are so thankful to have Lisa! Our critters love Ms. Lisa and having her, along with video updates, makes our time away from home worry free!

Pawville has been an absolute saving grace for our family! We started taking our dog here three times a week and during our vacations when he was just a puppy, and it has been the best decision we've ever made for his care. From day one, the staff at Pawville have been nothing short of amazing with our dog. They are incredibly attentive, genuinely care about each pet, and go above and beyond to ensure our pup is happy and comfortable. Every time we drop him off, he practically leaps out of the car with excitement, tail wagging furiously. It's such a relief to know he's in such good hands. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and has plenty of space for the dogs to play and socialize. Our dog comes home not only extremely happy but also wonderfully exhausted from all the fun he's had. It's clear that he loves his time at Pawville, and we couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you, Pawville, for being our pup's home away from home and for providing such exceptional care. We couldn't recommend you more highly!

We have been very pleased with the North Chase Pawville. Daphne loves going! I love the pictures and report card we get after every stay. We are currently taking her a couple of days a week. This location is currently under construction and I can’t wait to see when it’s completed.

I have been taking my dog Bean to Midtown Pawville since last September, a month after we rescued her. I was going across the country for a week so I was definitely nervous to board my dog. I was pleasantly surprised to find a report card in my messages! They send report cards daily. I had no idea they did this at the time and it made me so happy to see my dog was having a great time. I have never written a review before, not something I really think to do or want spend my time doing. I had to make an exception for pawville. Pawville has been a second home for my dog. SHE LOVES IT. Bean is a very high energy dog. It really means a lot that they get to know your dogs personality and put them with other dogs that matches their energy. The staff really go above and beyond for the dogs. What made me love this place even more is that they remember your dogs and get excited when they come back. The report cards are so personal and I have seen how much they love and care for my dog. They also run a very good business and are very professional, accommodating and responsive. They are also very on top of making sure your dog is up to date with vaccines, which I really appreciate. They really think of everything to make your dog happy. Its almost like your dogs are staying at a resort/spa lol. This is my FAVORITE place to board my dog in Wilmington. If you are looking for a place that takes good care of your animal AND a place that your animal will love I HIGHLY recommend Pawville :)

This is the best doggie daycare I've taken my dog to in Wilmington, NC. The staff are really friendly and the facility is really nice. My pup comes home happy and is so excited when I drop him off there. They send a nice report card at the end of the day with pics of my pup and how he did. They have all sorts of options for boarding as well.

Precious gets such great care and attention from staff. It is genuine care. The staff works extremely well together, one can see they love their career. Thank you. Precious plays with dogs that share her high activity level. Their boarding facility is tops. Establishment is super clean and free of any odors. High end treats and toys available in lobby. I trust Citrus Pawville with caring for my best friend.

Was pleasantly surprised how great this facility is, clean and neat, personnel is friendly yet professional, my dog develops resource guarding when I am gone ,so he guards his cage, this place works best because doggy dog is open and he can go potty and walk outside if he wants to, and best thing I can check on him on web camera ! Peace of mind for me,definitely will be boarding Bubbles here again !

Amber was very helpful for my wife and I when we had a last minute issue where our family was not going to be able to watch our pets while we were out of the country. Amber was very quick to respond to our inquiry, was very communicative through the whole process, and sent regular updates and pictures while we were out of town. We greatly appreciated her help and could not recommend Cape Fear enough!

Amber was wonderful with my fur babies! At the last minutes I need a pet sitter for about 5 days, she came on Sunday for a meet and greet and talk through my expectations ( pretty high😁). After our meet and greet I felt great and through the five days she sent me pictures and updates, and I knew my babies were well taken care of! Her prices are extremely reasonable and you can tell she loves animals and what she does. Which reminds me I’ve gotta reach out to book her over July 4. 😂 seriously, I am very particular who watches my dogs and she did an exceptional job and I will be using her as my go to pet sitter!!!!

This was the first time we used a professional pet sitting service. We couldn't be happier. Our dogs either! Amber came promptly twice a day. We got updates and pics every day. She played with them during her visit. She treated our dogs as if they were her own. Not only do I recommend her, but we'll also be using her services again and again !!

I recently took my Pomeranian for her first visit to Animal House grooming salon, and I couldn't be more pleased! I want to give a special thanks to the GM, Scott, for recommending his Groomer, Trinette. She did an outstanding job! Every detail of my dog was absolutely beautiful and professionally done. Trinette is one of the best groomers I've used in a long time. I highly recommend you try her for yourself. I love Animal House! I've taken 5 dogs there and they all love it. They get excited when we pull on the street! The staff is always friendly and accommodating, even on all the short notices. My dogs come home tired and happy. I recommend this place to everyone!

I really am satisfied taking my dog to Animal House Wilmington. My dog gets to run around and play and socialize with other dogs. Sometimes I have to work extended hours, days on end and it is a comfort to me to know that I can drop him off there instead of keeping him alone, bored in my apt. peeing on the carpet. I also like they have special events, boarding, dog grooming and even obedience training. The staff is very nice and friendly and I feel completely comfortable leaving my dog in their hands. When I have to go out of town for several days I don't worry about boarding him at Animal House becsuse I know he is well taken care of.

My dog Finn has been going to day camp weekly for almost four years. The staff recognize us both the minute we walk in and I know I can trust them with my boy. The pool is the best part! I can’t recommend enough!

Boarded my dogs here 3 times. The last time it was $700 and my dogs returned with kennel cough and my male with a giant wound on his head that was about 4 inches wide, a massive open bloody wound. Took 2 days to get the owner to contact us, and he just ran his mouth for 15 minutes trying to make himself look better, and that he’d pay for the vet visit then never reached back out. It’s been 2-3 months now, my dog is fully healed but I would like to warn others away from this place. The photos are far too gruesome to post, so I will leave those out so the review will post. The 2nd time we boarded them here, I put tape on the top of my food bin for my pets and on two intake forms I put that my female dog is food aggressive, and cannot be fed near my male or she’ll hurt him or worse. We watched for 2 hours while they had the food down in the same room with both of my dogs watching my female try to attack my male while nobody answered and the doors were locked so we could not inform them. I picked them up early from their stay at that time. The only reason I returned after the 2nd time and their fatal flaw in reading paperwork and food bins is because my grandmother passed away in New York and I had to make an urgent trip to go say goodbye to her. I will say on the upside the employees were always excited to see my pups, I just wish they kept the same tenacity in regard to pet safety and injures. I found out he was injured when we got home, they never mentioned it. If you’re anything like me your pets are your world and best friends, so I’m not willing to give a 3rd chance like the owner asked. This isn’t baseball we’re not playing 3 strikes in your house, this is the safety of living beings we’re talking about. As my wife and I are dog groomers this was all the more upsetting knowing the lack of safety and responsibility taking place. I pray no one else shares the experiences we have at this boarding facility.

I brought my cat here for a well needed grooming. This was his first grooming experience and I was really nervous that it was not going to be successful. I’m very grateful for the wonderful staff that made it happen. They warned me he may be agitated when I brought him home but he was happy as a clam. I think he’s pretty happy to have the mattes off of him. Thank you so much!!

This place is great! We left our 2 puppies, Rodrigo and Ranger, there for a few days and they had a blast! I was afraid that they would not enjoy themselves but when we picked them up they did not want to leave. The staff is wonderful and took exceptional care of our babies, making them feel welcome and at home. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. It has great amenities and the staff is just the best!! Thank you for taking such good care of my babies.

My Pittie Bleu loves to go to Animal House Day care. The staff is fabulous. He gets treats from the front desk and is always excited to go swim and play with his friends. 10 out of 10 I would Recommend.

I am one to never leave reviews, but I honestly can’t say enough good things about Animal House. My dog is a regular for about 6 months and has boarded with them a few times, and I won’t take her anywhere else. Nicole and the staff are SO welcoming and show such enthusiasm and love every time they see my dog, as well as other regular dogs. It’s comforting to know that they care for the dogs like their own. The prices are even better (compared to other places in Wilmington). Drop off as early as 7:30 and pick up at 5:15/5:30 for 23 dollars a day, you can’t beat it. A live camera so you can see your pup having an absolute blast in the big pool or grassy fenced-in yard. On top of the high level of involvement with little holiday parties for the pups (for an extra cost of like 10 dollars) and posting “pup of the week” and happy birthday shoutouts for the dogs. 10/10 recommend to any pet owner!
