Dianne and Tim are exactly the kind of sitters who make TH a trusted and reliable community that we can turn to time and again. They were highly communicative, friendly, capable. They took care of our 7 month old Nora for a few days and were so flexible with the needs and quirks of a young dog in training. Our dog fell in love with them quickly and the daily photos proved it. They were conscientious from start to finish with Nora and left our home in immaculate condition. We came home after a long day of travel to a clean home and happy dog which is everything. Such a wonderful experience having Michelle and Ryan take care of our babies. They were very communicative and clear starting from our first call - we got lots of photo updates and they let us know as soon as any issues cropped up (we had some minor ant invasions as the summer heat kicked in which they helped keep at bay). They were completely reliable and we came home to very chill cats so it was clear they got a lot of love. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for pet sitting!

Full of Love for Fauna and Flora
While it's nice to have someone at the house while the owners are away, the most important thing for pet owners is someone to care for their pets. If I could give Elvira 10 stars for loving my dog and giving her special attention, I would! Elvira also texted me with daily photos and comments about the "walkies" my dog enjoyed. Plus, Elvira took on the additional task of conveying my dog to the groomer, and afterwards dosing her with flea/tick medication and a heartworm pill. Elvira and my dog look forward to seeing each other again, probably next spring when Elvira thinks she'll be back in the area.

Dominik was probably the best pet sitter I have had (out of 10+). He was very flexible and gracious (when I changed the sit), a great communicator and very responsive. He kept my house clean and followed directions to the tee. Dominik asked if it was OK to take my dogs for runs, which he then did every day of the sit. A+ sitter. I hope to have Dominik again soon.

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! We absolutely loved hosting Lisa and Sara and highly recommend them, they are some of the best sitters we have ever had and they're welcome back anytime!!

Monique was very nice and easy to schedule with. She sent us pictures of our dog Maisie while we were away, which we enjoyed seeing. Maisie was well cared for and had gotten plenty of exercise by the time we got home. The house was spotless, which was lovely to come home to! She had taken the trash and recycling bins out, even though we hadn’t mentioned them to her before we left. She made sure to let us know if anything was amiss so there were no surprises when we returned. Would definitely recommend her as a pet and house sitter for others. :)

I felt totally confident in leaving Darcy and my house in Elaine’s care and I returned to a very contended dog and a perfectly clean and tidy house. Elaine arrived the day before I left so I was able to get to know her and enjoy an evening meal with her before my very early flight. We kept in contact while I was away via WhatsApp and I was happy to see photos of Darcy relaxing in her usual favourite places. It was lovely to be welcomed back home after my holiday by a very well looked after dog and it was so nice that Elaine was here to welcome me and had the lamps on, flowers in vases and a meal in the oven. My house was clean and tidy and Darcy has enjoyed a week of lovely walks and neck scratches. I highly recommend Elaine as a completely reliable pet and house sitter and she is a lovely lady to chat to. I was so pleased that I got to know her.

Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.

Gowri was very patient and caring with Irisi who got sick the day before I left. I cannot commend her enough for how she rose to the occasion and took care of my baby. She even pick up meds from the vet. My cat, Squinty, was very comfortable with her to jump in bed and wake her up early in the morning (as he would with me). I am not aware of him doing that to other sitters that have stayed at my place. I would give her 6 stars for Pet care if I can! She updated me with Irisi's condition which really help ease my mind, knowing someone looking after my furry really cared. I would certainly have her back again!
