I could not have asked for better pet sitters for Avery than Mary and Johnny. Avery, an abused dog, is difficult to deal with at the beginning of a sit. She does not trust people, nor will she get close to them. But, through patience and love, Mary and Johnny were able to win over Avery during the sit. They took her on many walks. When your neighbors tell you that Mary and Johnny were the best pet sitters I’ve ever had, you know they were outstanding. It is my hope that they will want to return and take care of Avery on another sit. They were definitely six out of five stars!!!!!

Juliet was absolutely great! Somehow I entered the dates for our sot wrong and she was so helpful with working it out so we could have coverage even though it was TOTALLY my mistake. We have a couple animals with medical conditions that need daily medication and monitoring and she took great care of them. She took our big dog on a couple hikes while we were gone and I honestly think he may have been a bit disappointed to see us! She’s a great communicator and kept us well updated. Thanks Juliet!!

Sandra was very experienced and took good care of our dog Stella. Unfortunately, we found that our communication styles did not really mesh. Weeks before the sit, if we did not reply to Sandra instantly she got rather frantic and seemed overly anxious about the details of the sit. We always want our house sitters to feel comfortable and know what they are walking into, but it was a bit difficult to manage the level of communication Sandra required in advance of her stay. During the stay, our emergency contact was also contacted for a simple question about a light switch, just hours after we had texted Sandra to check in and ask if she had any questions. Besides this, we are grateful for her help and our dog seemed to enjoy her time with Sandra.

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Leslie and Kyle set the bar for all other pet sitters! On the first morning of their stay my cat got out due to a faulty window in my apartment and they handled the situation so well. Leslie sent a text explaining what happened and that my cat had returned safely and she was so calm about the whole thing that it put me at ease for the rest of my trip. Kyle went above and beyond and not only fixed the window screen (he actually fixed two screens during their stay!) but also made sure the window was secure until maintenance could come and fix the issue. Their go with the flow attitude was amazing. I would 100% have them sit for me again! I can not recommend them enough. You would be lucky to have Leslie and Kyle as your sitters :)

Lori’s reviews are all five star and I can fully attest as to why. Lori was so friendly and kind and I could tell from the moment she met Lizzie that she would take great care of her. I received daily pictures of her and Lizzie snuggling and I couldn’t have been happier knowing my girl was receiving a lot of love. Lori left our home in wonderful shape (probably better than I left it for her). She took great care and was very conscientious of all my plants. Laura was an exceptional, reliable, and loving sitter for our goldendoodle Scout, and took such good care of our home! Scout was excited to meet Laura immediately when she arrived at our home for this sit, and showered Laura with all the hugs and kisses. Scout has recently been having issues with seizures, so for this sit I was specifically looking for a sitter who had a depth of experience with giving medication and responding calmly in the event of an emergency. It was a big relief to be able to entrust Scout to Laura's capable and kind hands, and it was extra special that Laura's beloved vizsla had shared the same name. Laura is wonderfully easy to communicate and coordinate with, and was thorough in her care of our home. We came back to our garden looking great, house left in even better shape than I left it to Laura, and a very happy Scout! Big thank you to Dog Trotters LLC. We kenneled with them for about a week and a half including occasional day camps. Ya'll simply did a wonderful job and truly gave my husband and I peace of mind. Our huskies (as anyone who owns one can attest) are escape artists and have anxiety. Jacquie did an amazing job observing the dogs and diligently keeping them safe and happy during their stay (and called me keeping me in the loop!). She did a great job remembering our information and patiently answering our questions. The exit bath made them smell very nice and even completely dried them...not an easy thing with how dense their coats are! Just a big hug and thank you for tending to our girls! For sure coming back!

Julie and the team were outstanding. Great communication. We felt really good going out of the country just after meeting Julie and our sitter, who, by the way, did an excellent job handling our bully breed (Rott). Daily check-ins with a lot of photos. The photos were not necessary every day but I am sure there are some who would like that. Maybe every other just to save yourselves a lot of labor and effort, but it was appreciated.

Happy customer! My husband and I love to travel… our kitty Cosmo has a great time at Bone Voyage when we go out of town! He would survive just fine at home with a big bowl of food/water and litter box. But we bring him here because we know he loves it and the staff love him! Everyone is super friendly. We opt for photos and they always send good ones. Kitty room is separate and usually he’s able to roam around to enjoy the cat tree and toys. Although the cat enclosures are spacious as well. Riley loves her stays at Bone Voyage Pet Resort for boarding, daycare, and grooming. Jodi and the staff are always friendly, welcoming, and treat Riley like their own. Riley demands all the attention as soon we walk in the door :-) We've enjoyed coming here for the last 4 years and it gives us a peace of mind to have this place to leave our fur baby when we need to go out of town. We know that without a doubt she will be taken care of, and always enjoy the pictures sent to us while we are away, seeing her having a ball. Riley especially loves the pool during spring and summertime and all the extra playtime with her new friends. We definitely recommend Bone Voyage Pet Resort.
We love Bone Voyage! We have been using them to board both our dog and cat for a few years now and have always had a great experience with them! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, and they treat our pets like family. We have never utilized the doggy daycare service, but we always enroll our pup in daycare to play while he’s boarding. Highly recommend!
I discovered Bone Voyage online looking for a pool for my senior dog to swim in one last time before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. They were so good to us, & my boy had the time of his life. They made sure we had all we needed for his play time. We were able to book for private swim time which made it all the more special on his “Bucket List Weekend”. They had a clean facility & toys already there. Thank you for all you did that weekend for us. I will be back with my younger dog for swim time ♥️

We are new to the area and were very nervous about sending our sweet lab to just any doggie daycare. After getting a five star review about Bon Voyage from our veterinarian we decided to give them a try! Drop off and pick up is a breeze! Very hands on and exceptionally friendly staff! We could not ask for a better place for our sweet LuLu! Pricing is fair and reasonable! Facility is very clean! All you have to see is this smile when we pick her up! We know that Lu looks forward to taking her first dip in the pool in April!! We highly recommend!
Amazing care for our pups while we were away. We love the indoor/outdoor rooms. And the pool is perfect for our swimming loving boy. When we picked up our pups, I felt really good about there visit. There have been facilities that you get a not so good feeling from but this one, it felt like a breath of fresh air. I felt confident that they were treated well and had a great time.
We booked a one hour private swim for our water-hesitant pup and it was the perfect environment for her to explore the water. We were able to get into the pool with her, which was the determining factor of booking with Bone Voyage. They also provided a life jacket, which she wore for a little while! The staff was also amazing as well, they went above and beyond our our pup. We will definitely be back and will recommend to friends and family!

Bone Voyage is the boarding facility we've hoped to find for years, but didn't think would ever exist. Our older Goldendoodle has always been an anxious pup, and while she had fun during playtime at other boarding places, she would vibrate constantly going to or from the facilities. It took her all of one visit at Bone Voyage to feel so comfortable that she ~prances~ into the front door for boarding! No more nervous shaking. Nothing has ever made her not feel anxious (and she's on prescription medications). I cannot thank the passionate, caring team behind this facility enough. They are the best people we've ever entrusted our babies with. Jody is also incredible because she always remembers our dogs' names and needs. My first ever job was at a boarding facility, so I know what it's like to care for 90+ dogs that come and go throughout the week. I might have remembered one or two by name at the time. Jody remembers our dogs names, knows our car when we pull up, and even remembers which medications our Goldendoodle takes before she looks at their boarding profiles. The love this team has for the dogs in their care is evident in everything they do. We will never take our dogs anywhere else! Their care is worth every penny!!

Our experience with Ark Angels Pet Care was great and our two kitties were taken care of very well. The process was smooth and their staff was very prompt with scheduling and organizing around our ten-day vacation. While on vacation, they sent daily pictures and videos of our cats which we looked forward to every day. When we came back the litter was cleaned, water was full, and food bowls were clean too. For two cats it came out to ~$20/day which I thought was reasonable. While I can't speak re: dog-sitting, we would definitely recommend this pet sitting service for any cat-owner. In fact, we will be using their service again for an upcoming 5-day camping trip.
A great service! I recently had Holly look over my four rats while I was out of town. Holly provided me with daily updates and was excellent at following the care instructions I provided. We have been using Ark Angels for about two months for mid-day visits for our 17 year old dog. We have found Nancy and the Ark Angels sitters to be responsive, caring and very pleasant to work with. We highly recommend them.
Very professional service. We were referred by a coworker of mine to take care of our cats and they went above and beyond to follow all of our detailed instructions and even send me updates and pictures of our cats every visit! They also kept our apartment clean from litter and did some extra things to make our cats as comfortable as possible.

This is the best kennel hands down for those located in the Fuquay and Holly Springs area. My pets are well taken care of when I drop them off and I know they are well cared for at Sunset Kennel.
We have been using this kennel for a little over a year. It is outdoor but each dog has their own room with a heated section for the winter. All you need to do is bring food, leash, and a blanket. They take care of the rest! Great job!
Very popular place to send your dogs for a sleepover while you are away. Spots get taken quickly during the holidays and summer. Wise to call ahead at least a few weeks. As stated, the owner and staff treat your dogs very well. Luke, loves the air conditioned kennels since he can't take the heat.
We relocated several weeks ago and asked for recommendations for boarding our 2 dogs. Mary Anne and all her staff are so friendly and extremely helpful. The kennels are so clean. I literally just picked up my dogs and they were so well taken care of. Thank you Mary Anne
Sunset kennels is great. Reasonably priced but, more importantly, they take great care of your dogs. Always very clean. Marianne is awesome!

Operations are very well maintained at a 24/7 rate. I would never hesitate bringing my greyhound there for days. The owner and caregivers are concise and professional.

I just moved here a month ago and had to return to Ohio to finish up on some things I heard about sunset kennels from my Neice whom lives here the owner was a blessing and so was her staff that I was able to meet my dog was happy and so am I. I have a nervous dog, a schnauzer poodle mix, who has only been kennels maybe 5 times in 7 years. He is terrified of them, has separation anxiety and hates kennels. But he actually loves this place! He's been here three times in two years so now I won't take him anywhere else. The first time I brought him here, when I was bringing him to the car, he ran back to the building as if he wanted to say goodbye to his new "friends!" My kids and I were shocked! Brenda is so kind and sweet. They will administer medicine, give treats, and really go above and beyond to make your pet and you feel at ease. I for one am glad they do not accept pit bulls because not all dog owners are responsible and they have no way of knowing the difference. I can't believe how selfish someone gave a 1 star review for that. I can feel safe knowing my dog is. So thankful for this place! Keep up the good work!
Great place for both our dogs! We have used them 3 times now. Very clean, outdoor space that your dog has access to from a doggie door in their kennel and if you prepay you get a door code to pick your dog up anytime outside of kennel hours.
Wonderful caring staff. The facility is so nice and clean. I love that each dog has a spacious area with their own pet door to go outside as they please. Highly recommend Mrs Brenda to care for your special pets!

I have been taking my dogs here for many years. The facility is very nice, modern and CLEAN. They have taken great care of my dogs who always come home healthy and happy. I would recommend them to anyone needing dog boarding.
What a horrid woman. I called to board my two dogs and she asked why my dog was blind and kept pressuring for details. She said she’s gotten older and is allowed to be picky with which dogs she accepts at her facility! What the heck! That is discrimination. I will take my business elsewhere. Yikes.

We boarded our Golden Retriever here recently and don't have any complaints! The owners are very sweet people and the price of boarding is reasonable.
We have used Sandy Ridge Kennels off and on for most of a decade now. They are kind, considerate, and pay attention to the little things so our dogs are well taken care of when we are away. The kennels are clean and the inside is climate controlled.
Sandy Ridge does great job taking care of our dog. They are always friendly. I do suggest calling ahead don’t wait until the last minute to reserve a spot.

I love this place, they take great care of my dogs every time I have boarded with them. My dogs don’t even seem to notice me when I pick them up because they have been so well taken care of. I’d also like to add that their grooming services rock.
Love Pet Perfection and so does our pup! They’re affordable, take good care of doggo, and are accommodating.
You could take your pet to PetSmart and have it groomed but I would suggest taking it here where it will be done right. They know what they are doing and it's cheaper than PetSmart as well. It's the only place I take my dog.
We have been going to Pet perfection and all I can say is this staff is great. They all really love their doggies and treat them like their own. From grooming daycare and boarding. Our Remi loves daycare he’s happy to go and tired when he comes home. A++++++
This is a great hidden gem in Johnston county. They are friendly, always available to answer questions. On my initial visit there, they gave me a tour of the facility and it is great. They are so good with my dog Oscar. He loves it there. Always clean when I take him and so accommodating!
Casey has been grooming our dog for a few years now. We love her! Even when scheduling was tight they managed to find room for us! Our dog had been traumatized by a previous groomer so much that he panicked walking into any place that smelled of dogs (vet, groomer, petsmart), but he can't wait to walk into Pet Perfection!
Our dog LOVES this place for boarding with Doggie Daycare. Great people, clean facilities - you know when your dog can’t wait to get inside during each visit that it’s the right place for them. I call to check on him and the Owner says he’s acting like I’ve dropped him off at the spa for a few days. 🤣 …
We went to drop our pup off for the weekend and were told then and not before that they were closed until 3:00pm and that the girls were on break so no one was available to take our pup. Since it was only about 1:30 - We had to arrange for a family member to meet us and take him back to drop him off. The girl that broke the news was a real witch! She wasn’t sorry at all and acted like I should have known since it’s been like that for years. Well he hasn’t been boarded in years so I had no way of knowing! This used to be the best place to leave our pup - with staff like this - I don’t think so!! We will not be leaving him here again!

We used Peak City Puppy during a recent family trip to the beach. Heather took wonderful care of our dogs and cat and provided photos and recaps after each visit. One of our dogs is very nervous when meeting new people but Heather gave her time and space to feel comfortable and gained her trust. Knowing that our fur babies were happy and in great care allowed to have a wonderful and stress-free vacation. We will definitely use Peak City again!
We just used Peak City Puppy for the second time and had another amazing experience. Lauren took care of our 4 year old Golden Retriever and 2 cats… one being an energetic and mischievous kitten. We were gone for 8 days and didn’t have service some of the time, so when we were able we had lovely updates and pics of our pets to catch up on. Lauren not only took care of our pets, but took out the trash and recycling! While we were gone Hurricane Debby came through and Lauren didn’t skip a beat. She had Willow out on her walks and also dried her off (and wasn’t annoyed when she got all goofy during this process lol) It has been so wonderful to have a great person watching our pets while we are gone. Lauren goes above and beyond and makes leaving town much less stressful. I’m also pretty sure Willow was a little depressed when we returned and Lauren wouldn’t be back!
We've been using dog walking services with Peak City Puppy for about a month now 3 days per week and are SO impressed and highly recommend them. We have have two young, large puppies and they love our dog walker, Courtney! One of our dogs is really shy and she's been so wonderful and patient with him and they are now besties :) The whole team is professional, their online portal for scheduling and payment and communication is so easy to use! We couldn't recommend them enough!
I used Peak City Puppy for the first time 2 weeks ago. They were phenomenal! Jenna and Jess were the ladies that took care of my 4 fur babies. From the "meet and greet" to each visit, they were very caring and professional. They let me know when they arrived, when they left, and sent me pictures with updates during each visit. I used the 30 minute visit and the 12 hour overnight since I have a senior dog who needs more care. Jess and Jenna provided the type of excellent care that gave me piece of mind on my trip. I would definitely use them again!
Peak City Puppy did an amazing job caring for our Boston Terrier and 2 cats for 5 days while we were out of town recently. Dwayne, Kristin and Erin treated our fur babies like they were their own. I was so impressed by the detailed updates, messages and pictures that I received after every visit. I love that PCP allows you to customize the timing and duration of visits. It helped our dog tremendously to have Kristin here for a full 2 hours each evening. I will definitely be using PCP for our future animals care needs, I recommend them wholeheartedly!!
We had such a great experience with Peak City Puppy! We were out of town for 2 weeks and needed care for our 2 labs. Angela immediately made us feel comfortable! Our older lab has anxiety issues and had to have unplanned abdominal surgery 2 weeks prior to our trip. Angela was very accommodating and made us feel at ease about leaving her. She sent pictures and videos everyday and it was obvious our puppies were very happy and very well taken care of. We were able to enjoy our trip without one bit of worry! We will definitely use Peak City and Angela again. I would highly recommend for any pet owner!
My first experience with Peak City puppy could not have been any better! I had just rescued a 6 year old American Bulldog when I was called into in-person work for several days. On very short notice, Peak City Puppy was able to match me with an in-their-home pet sitter for those days with morning drop-off and evening pick-up. I offered to pay the overnight rate since this was a custom request. My new pup got along great with the sitter’s other two dogs and didn’t want to leave each evening. They took such good care of him and provided updated with pictures throughout each day. It was just a wonderful experience and they alleviated any anxiety I had about leaving a dog who was just beginning to adjust to a new life outside of the rescue environment. They will be my choice next time, no question. I highly recommend Peak City Puppy and their pet sitting services!
We have been thrilled with the excellent care that Peak City Puppy has provided for our sweet dog. Our walker Cris has already formed a bond with her and I love getting updates and pictures after their walks. The on-line platform for requesting dates and services is very easy to use. We use Peak City Puppy whenever we're out of town for a few days. Debbie and Erin have done such a great job taking care of our cats - Tofu and Miso!
