Carla was very self-sufficient and took good care of the house while we were away. Sadly for me and luckily for Carla, she wasn't required to do all that was required for a sick cat as Cassius had passed away just before her stay. My sourdough starter is still alive and the garden is in decent shape -- I know it is hard to eat/pick that many raspberries and beans! I'm pleased the chalet was in good hands while we were away. Kate was a wonderful housesitter. She bought her gorgeous chocolate lab Elsie with her who was so sweet and, although young, she was really well behaved and lovely company for Woody. We really enjoyed meeting Kate who has a really cheerful personality and handled everything we threw at her with ease and a smile on her face. Unfortunately, we had some works going on at the house outside which had run on longer than we thought so she had to deal with guttering people, scaffolding and landscapers, all of which she did in her stride without complaint which we really appreciated. She was very caring with Woody who had a couple of "off days" and was careful to keep us in touch with how he was doing and asking whether we wanted to get the vet involved. We really felt he was in good hands. She was super flexible and even offered to move her return journey in case Woody wasn't well enough to be left until we got back but, in the end, it wasn't necessary. We got back to an immaculate house and a very happy dog. Thank you Kate for being so understanding and for managing the house and Woody so well. We would highly recommend Kate for a future housesit.

This is the 3rd time Adina petsits Chaplin. I have only positive things to say about her. She is flexible as i had to depart 1 day earlier than planned and made it possible for me. She is super friendly and communicates very well before and during the sits. Chaplin clearly loves her when i see the pics she sent to me, I am actually getting a bit jealous myself :-)The house was cleaned at my return. Really i can only recommend her. Gabi accommodated our schedule and arrived the night before so we could show her how to feed and walk the dogs in person, saving us time and worry since we were able to talk through everything in real time, face to face. We were delighted to have Mona as our house/pet sitter when we were away in Italy last week. She was easy to liaise with before the visit, asked all the right questions about our dog Mattie when she arrived, and we were very fortunate that when our return flight was delayed she could stay another night and even put our shopping delivery away in the fridge/freezer. Lola was brilliant; she kept the house clean and tidy and even made us a dinner for when we got home! We have a lot of animals and thus she had a lot of responsibilities whilst here and I couldn’t be happier! All of my animals are well fed and have been clearly well taken care of in my absence - we only lost one fish but that was probably down to old age. She was able to feed and maintain my reptiles and did a brilliant job taking care of my dog and three cats. If recommend Lola to anyone looking for an honest and reliable sitter.

Maria and Sebastian were fantastic sitters. Communication was brilliant from the start. They kept in touch throughout their stay with photos and updates. Both dogs were super happy. They were very neat and tidy and the house was as we left it on our return. I would highly recommend them and we would love to have back to come pet sit for Ruby and Pongo any time in the future.

Abby was truly the best pet sitter we've ever had. We were never concerned or worried about the care of our pups and home. All the neighbors have told me that the dogs looked happy on the many walks. She sent videos of photos about every other day. We hope that Abby will stay in our home next summer as well. Abby is very highly recommended by our whole family, including the dogs!!!

Laura is incredible! For starters, she is a clear and considerate communicator who is reliable and trustworthy while setting up details for a sit in advance. From there... where do we start?! Laura (and her sister Stephanie, for a few days) took care of our cat & dog for a week-long sit. We were immediately at ease with both of them, and it was clear that they were excited to meet our pets and love them, and relaxed and comfortable in this role. They asked informed and curious questions about our pets, routines, and the surrounding area to set up a successful sit. When we departed, our dog hardly seemed to notice, because she was getting to know her new people! The snuggle-fest and hiking adventures that took place while we were gone resulted in happy pets who were calm and content. We received daily photos, which were heart warming, and assured us that dog hugs and cat exercise were taking place. Our dog is very affectionate, and Laura made sure that she received plenty of love while we were gone. Upon return, our home was spotless - tidy and clean (possibly cleaner than when we left, and we tried really hard!) We are games people, and Laura left us some of her favorite games to play (yay), and gifts for our pets, which were so fun to open when we got home. Everything was so thoughtful and kind. Laura is absolutely one of the top sitters we've ever had, and we are so grateful for her care. She went above and beyond basic home/pet care, and her compassion shines through in all of her communications and actions. She (and Stephanie) are welcome anytime, and we (Zora and Morris especially) hope they will come stay again!

5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.

Laura was amazing with communication from the very beginning. She sent updates of photos and videos without even being told or asked to do so. She was watching our cat and treated her like her own. Laura was also very responsive when we were trying to find a sitter for our dates and answered any and all questions we had about her experience with pets and house sitting. I would recommend her to anyone! :) and hope we can have her house sit again for us.
