I brought my skittish rescue dog today and they were so kind. it’s not too hectic in there and i great environment for a scaredy dog. the self serve tub was so easy even for a dog who was protesting the whole time! will be going back every time she needs a bath!!!

The facility was super clean, unlike the other place I checked out here in Salina. In addition, the staff were super helpful and kind. Both of my doggos really liked the staff members that did a meet m greet with them. Not only do they provide the materials and tub needed for bathing, they also provide grooming brushes blow dryer, towels, ear cleaning products, even an apron for the bathers... everything's included with the price. I am totally in love with the fact that you don't have to clean up after yourself after you clean up your dogs. I am super happy that I went there today both my dogs are gorgeous, they smell good, and they're happy :) Unlike the vet, which they are super scared of they walked into this place and walked out with wagging tails. A big thank you to the staff and creator of The Soggy Dog!

We just moved to the city and were looking for a place to wash our pups. This place is fantastic. Diana walked us through the whole process and was so, so friendly. Pups didn't love it, but we did! 10/10 will go back!

Top notch service and staff. It’s clear they’re doing what they love, caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. We feel very lucky to have them nearby to care for our dogs! Edited to add: I used their DIY dog wash station today and it was excellent! With all the shampoo/conditioner options that come along with the great ease of use, plus the accessible supplies (towels, aprons), I think it’s well worth the price. I look forward to using the wash station again!

Took my little one there and gave her a bath. Very nice very clean. Better than doing it in a rv bathtub. They supply everything you need. I will be back 2 or 3 times before we leave in November Thank you.

Not only did they open up a few minutes early for me and my husband to wash our 2 dogs but they were so clean and the women who was working up front so amazing with the pups and even gave homemade treats to our pups they were amazing and great price too I t was the first dog wash where I actually walked away clean too… and that tells you all you need to know about the cleanliness here…

Teddy loves going to day care to play with all of his doggy friends! Diane and her staff are very loving and attentive to him. We never worry when we are out of town or when he goes to day care because we know he is being well taken care of. The establishment is clean and the staff is friendly and caring. We highly recommend them for boarding and/or day care.

Very nice facility. Friendly staff. Very helpful. Highly recommend the business for giving your dog a bath. They supply everything. For only 17.00 Plus a drying room. That look, with the head band, that's priceless. 😄 …

What can I say!! My dogs drag me when is time to come to daycare. They love it here so much!! Such an amazing Gem in Salina,KS for sure. The staff is amazing and my dogs love coming everyday. For me being a traveler for work is awesome when I find a good place that truly care for your dogs. And trust me my dogs will let you know. So their excrement to go make my whole HEART smile.

Update (11-5-2024) - Now that my wife and I are settled in to our new home here in Salina - we take our dog Pepper here as well. She’s always super happy to go and exhausted when she comes home! Further - our dog is a COVID puppy so she wasn’t socialized much at all- Always home helped her through that and now she’s usually excited to meet other dogs!! They treat my sister’s dog, Zelda, amazingly. She’s always so happy to go there and utterly exhausted from playing when she comes home.

Benji loves going there! He gets so excited when I am trying to get him out of the car! They have so many activities for them. The caregivers are all so nice and caring. We never worry about how he is being taken care of at Always Home!

We have taken our two dogs to Always Home for awhile. Our lab that we've had since she was a puppy has been going for almost 3 years and that first year was wonderful. Never had any problems. The first problem we had came up a little over a year ago. She was injured during her stay here. I was not informed of her injury. She was running and hit a post so hard it broke skin. She had a large gash I found once she was home. I called immediately and was told that the front desk was supposed to inform me of her injury upon her pick up. We did not feel comfortable taking her back as often as she had been going after this. A few months after this incident, we had dropped her off over July 4th weekend and we were not informed of the increased prices for the holiday, so we ended up paying much more than we had budgeted for. I understand increasing rates, but I believe we should have been told prior to dropping her off. In February of 2022 we adopted an adult German Shepherd and took the two of them once with no issues. Recently we took them for one overnight and one day. I needed to attend a funeral and had no other options. My boyfriend picked them up. After I returned home the next day, my German Shepherd had a large abscess on his cheek that required medical attention from a veterinarian, it appeared as though he had been bitten. There was a puncture wound. My lab also had a large scab in between her eyes, right in the middle of her face. Today I was inspecting it, and she has been using her paw to scratch it and now has a bald spot on her face. Aside from their injuries, they also lost our leash this time. We had to make a special trip out to their facility just to pick up the leash they lost. We will no longer see Always Home as an option, even in desperate situations.

Never going back! I called to check on my dog and they said all was good and that he was having fun. Right after I called my friend went to check on him and drop off more food. My dog was limping and all four paws were bleeding. Probably from running on concrete too long. They should have been honest and told me he was hurt. They should have paid more attention to my dog, because the limp was obvious! My friend picked up my dog and headed to the vet for treatment! I cried for days and felt so bad for taking my dog there. They said they would help pay some of the vet bill, but never did. I would never recommend this place.

My dog Jessie and I LOVE Always Home Pet Services! We have just moved to a small apartment in Salina from a three bedroom house in the country. My one and a half year-old, extremely energetic and active Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix was having a hard time adjusting. That is when I looked into doggy daycare for her while I am at work. The staff is very welcoming and kind. They greet her by name every day I drop her off. They tell me that she is constantly playing with the other dogs and is always in the pool! When we get home she is soooo tired and takes a nap which is something that was rare before! We are so grateful for Always Home Pet Services and highly recommend it for anyone looking into doggy daycare!

I had no idea there was a doggy daycare that did not use kennels or crates! All the dogs are socially screened and play together in an open playground! My Opie doesn't even miss me when I'm gone... No separation anxiety! The indoor room has many dog beds and they sleep where they want after a day of romping, chasing bubbles, interactive games and more. Peggy and the staff are super and Opie is excited to be with them. I have never felt so good while being away! The prices are great and the boutique is adorable! Always Home is located just outside of town where it's country quiet and the stars light the night. There's no place like Always Home!

Our goldendoodle, Otis, is always so excited to go to daycare. His tail starts wagging as soon as we turn in the drive and he practically pulls me in to Always Home! We are so glad we have found this outlet for him while we are at work.

The staff is very friendly and happy to answer questions. My dog Lulu is excited to go to Always Home and it has helped her socialization. When I pick her up she is tired from her busy day. I feel it was a good decision to use their services instead of leaving her at home all day. Great place!

We have taken our Whoodle [wheaten terrier poodle mix] to Alway Home whenever we are going on a trip. Last week we were dropping Willis off when I realized I forgot our leash. Willis jumped out of the back car door and ran for the building he was so excited. Once inside he ran for the door to go outside with his dog friends. He absolutely loves it there and is so taken care of. We've done Rover and had some good sitters but now that we have used Always Home we won't take Willis any where else! Your dog will thank you and the humans can rest easy knowing their dog is in great care.

I have booked Adventures in Pet Sitting for when we're out of town for a weekend. I have them come twice a day (you can do more if needed) for a quick potty break, some play time, feeding, etc. My dogs are older so twice a day is fine for now, we may book walks in the future when we're on longer trips but for a weekend its not necessary. I really like the website they use to make scheduling easy and we communicate over email, very simple and they always reply fast! You receive an email service report after each visit with pictures and notes, very cool and put my mind at ease. They are trustworthy and I think their prices are fair.

Owner is very responsible on making sure to provide make up services for weather or her help does not show up as scheduled. The treats and training are a wonderful addition to the walking services. I would have liked to see more consistent schedule but this was not owners fault. Good help is hard to find and weather unpredictable. Also the price for a “check in” is the same as a half hour walk. Be specific on what you need to get your value. My dogs absolutely love the treats but they mold before we get them used up, even in the fridge. So make sure to use them up quickly. I feel this service is needed in a town like ours and this business has done well to get going. We just no longer needed the services. We lost our dog and when we decided to get a new puppy; Our schedules worked out better to walk and check in on her on our own. I have referred adventures in pet sitting to friends and will contribute to do so. Thanks for your hard work!

Impressive! My dog has never been happier! She pranced around for days after getting groomed at Doggie Day Spa. She smelled so good and was so soft we couldn't stop petting her! Doggie Day Spa did a fantastic job! Super thorough and quick! My dog didn't want to leave. She seemed to love it, and I loved taking her! I'm never going anywhere else but Doggie Day Spa!

My mini Aussie had such a great experience at his very first spa/grooming session. These people were so good with Bandit and he looked fantastic! I will definitely be bringing all my pups to Doggie Day Spa. ❤️

They did a great eat job with my Shih tzus. They were so relaxed and happy when they were done. Their cuts looked wonderful. They are very friendly and knowledgeable about grooming! Would highly recommend!

Great little place for your fur babies. Very good sized fenced yard area. They have little "suite" areas indoors with A/C, fans, food and water. They seemed very happy after we got them back. We left them for roughly 2 hours, but it was our first time boarding these 2.

I took my 3 dogs there for 9 days. They were well cared for and safe. The facilities are nice and the lady who runs it is an angel. Its a great value. They will be going back again next month. Highly recommend.

Pretty Pets was able to take our 3 dogs (2 GSPs and a Shih Tzu) on short notice and took great care of them. Very nice and clean facility,all the dogs that were there when we dropped off and picked ours up seemed happy and content. We would absolutely choose them again!

Took our fur babies there for the 1st time. When we picked them up Kozmo actually looked out the back window and whined as we drove out the driveway. He has never done that before. Obviously they had a good time! Highly recommend!

Amazing grooming experience!! We normally just get the face feet and fanny groom but went with the full groom for our girl and I was absolutely amazed when I picked her up!! Beautiful work thank you!!!

Horrible experience. It started off fine, we were going on a trip and needed a place to keep our Belgium malinois, we were told it would be $20 per night, we leave our dog, go on our trip come back, and are now being told it’s $25. Not only that they only take cash, we are not local and were never made aware of this over the phone, on top of that when we got him back he was hurt, huge cut on his eye. Poor dog, I hope this experience doesn’t traumatize him, who knows what they did to him behind closed doors, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. When asked about this mark they got very defensive and very rude, horrible customer service.

Our 3 dogs love going to Smoky Valley. Their staff love animals, and their facilities allow the dogs to go outside whenever they want. Play time and all the perks! We drive from Wichita to take them here!

Ollie absolutely loves his visits. Being a larger sized golden retriever, he can be a handful. The staff at Smoky Valley Dog Center is always welcoming and very efficient. Their service is second to none! I live 30 plus miles away and they are always quick to accommodate my schedule. I would recommend Smoky Valley Dog Center to anyone!

Regularly board my dogs here. Staff are great and super kind. They are really great with my animals, and rates are very reasonable. Dogs seem to really enjoy SVDC as they always get super excited when we turn the corner to their road!

I own many dogs! Imports from Germany and Romania. We have a lot of time, money and love invested in our dog family. Smokey Valley Dog Center is the only Facility we TRUST any of our dogs to go to. Boarding, training or Grooming. They have one of the best and most knowledgeable Groomers around. She has been doing it for many years not as a hobby but as a life long career!!! They treat your dogs like family!!! They treat you like family too!!! Just the best around, what more can I say!!!

Worse place ever animal abuser. I took my dog for a couple of days and when I went to pick him up the poor dog has his eyes all red a cut by the eye . Now I need to pay a veterinarian to check my dog but when asking one of the owner what happened to my dog they got really defensive and rude and told us we are no welcome any more and that was beco They could not give us a explanation of what really happened to the dog and take responsibility of what happened. Very rude la k of professional and worse mistreated my dog so sad 😭 . Don’t ever take your pet to this place.

We've dropped our dogs off here in the past and again just recently. We have one little dog and one large dog. The large dog gets plenty of outdoor space in his own large area he has access to when he wants. No issues at all, would certainly use them again and recommend them.

I have been taking my dog, Miko, to their kennel for 13 years. They keep their kennel very clean & , give great attention to all the dogs & cats! I never worry about my dog while she is there. She loves going & I can’t say enough about their kennel!

Our family has been taking our dogs here for years. They love the animals and have always taken great care. You will not find any place that offers this much space and they are more than affordable. You will not be disappointed! Just make sure your pets are properly treated with flea preventative.

I brought my 2 cats there last July while on a trip to see my family and there were taken such good care of. It was the first time boarding them and I didn't know how they would react. They did great. Will always keep this place in mind when we are planning a trip and the animals can't come

Our dogs love this place!! We have a pit bull and a German Shepard! They never get worn out! But they came home tired and happy!! Great experience with communication, drop off and pick up! We even got a huge Halloween bag of treats! Highly recommend!

Fantastic place to take your 4 legged fur friends. They took great care of our two huskies and I know our dogs had a blast. They had so much room to run and I think our dogs packed on a few pounds 😉 We have no complaints and I know our huskies will want to go back. Love this place and my dog does too! He comes home worn out and freshly bathed after running around like a wild thing for a few days. So glad they now offer bathes and blow outs, he always looks great when they’re done.

Love this place! The kennel is just outside of town on the owner and operator's home property so there is always someone nearby for the dogs. It also makes pick up and drop off a breeze since you don't have to try to fit into typical business hours. Teri is the PERFECT dog owner and that translates directly into the care she provides for the fur-babies that stay with her. Almost Home gets that dogs are more than just pets and goes the extra mile to make sure they're comfortable, happy and loved on their mini vacations away from their own families. Abilene is lucky to have Teri and Almost Home Boarding! 🐶❤️

Teri has a well thought out facility. Each kennel has its own exterior run with dog doors, spacious and clean interior rooms, and large fenced yards where the pups can run and play together or on their own. Our guys never show signs of distress; more likely, they act as if they’ve had a pup-cation! Thank you Teri for providing a safe and fun place for my babies when we can’t take them with us.

Outstanding care and attention. We left our three young dogs with Almost Home while we were overseas for three months. They were all extremely happy and very spoiled (in a good way) with good care, attention, and exercise. We recommend Almost Home most enthusiastically. !!!

I used Almost Home Dog Boarding through all of 2018 while I was working in the area. In the 14 years that I’ve had my pet this was by far the best experience ever for her. She couldn’t wait to get out of the car every time we arrived. I’ll go out of my way to use this Kennel if I come back to Kansas.

The gals that take great care of it fur babies are remarkable. They love them as much as we do and I trust them implesstly. Taylor takes pictures and sends them to the pet owner. These pictures make my day. Love you girls. ❤️❤️

Incredible place! I was very impressed! The ladies did an amazing job, grooming and trimming our Anatolian/Great Pyrenees dog! I highly Recommend this place, we will be back again.

I got my dog groomed yesterday, and they did a horrible job. A bath and nail clipping was supposed to be included, and it was obvious that wasn’t done. She also looks very choppy and I had asked for her body to be all one length with the shortest guard, and clean feet and her feet look not trimmed at all, and her legs are longer than her back and her belly doesn’t look trimmed either. It seems like the groomer was rushing and taking shortcuts. She didn’t even dust off the loose hair after grooming. Never going back.

I just started working full time and my family had to find a doggy day care place to take our HYPER heeler/husky mix (the mix of breeds are show how crazy he is) and we are so glad we found this place. He completed his first three days (Wednesday-Friday) and he has been sleeping all day today recovering (Saturday). They are very understanding and are not intimidated by his sometimes stubborn personality. I know he is being well taken care of and makes me feel less guilty as a dog mom leaving him all day! Great place

It is really nice being able to board my dog when I travel. This facility works closely with a local veterinarian so you can get things taken care of without missing work. I don't like how they market their boarding packages as it sounds like your dog won't leave the cage at the most basic level (this is not the case) . I would also prefer if daycare and boarding dogs could interact. However, the staff did make an exception that allowed my dog to spend some time with his littermate. The brother of my dog brought all his new daycare friends to the fence to greet us. This facility seems to do a decent job of limiting capacity to keep things well managed. Be sure to check requirements before showing up and have documentation ready. Also make sure to have an appointment as they are fairly busy.

They did an amazing job on Tucker this time. He was really matted & they managed to get them all taken care of. He looks so much better & I believe he feels better too.

Very clean, staff is friendly and let us look around when we dropped of the dogs. The indoor/outdoor runs are nice sized. Very happy with the temperature control. Glad they have a vet on site.
