Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.
Once again, having AnnaMarie take care of our pups was absolutely the right choice!! Her frequent updates, care of our house and fur babies was stellar! Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. It was so sweet to watch our one-year-old lick her ear and Annamarie just giggled and happily tolerated it. What a great sport😎. We would highly recommend her to anyone and would also suggest if you happen to see a less than perfect review for her ( there is only 1)I know the true story... it's unfortunate that some people are so unappreciative of someone who will go out of their way to care for their home and Pets (at no charge🙃🙃)-- it just boggles my mind and am confident they are not being honest! Suffice it to say she is a gem and perfect sitter in every way- if you can get a chance to book with her- do not hesitate! We truly think of her as part of our family now and all 5 of our pups would agree!
Sharon was a fantastic sitter for our week away! She left the house as tidy and clean as we left it, including changing the sheets for our arrival. I truly cannot even tell she was here and that made coming home after a long travel day so much easier. She was communicative every step of the way and provided daily updates on our cat with photos. We knew our home and pet were in good hands! I would gladly welcome Sharon back any time should we be so lucky : )
Megan was the perfect house sitter - got lots of updates and pics of my kitty, communicated well, was flexible and left the place spotless! Would definitely ask her to pet sit again!
Great pet care. The house was clean and tidy. The sitters had great communication. Would recommend again!
Carolina was a fantastic Pet sitter. From the beginning, it was straightforward to communicate with her. She met us before we left our trip and ensured she understood all the house and pet logistics. Luna and Cal were very comfortable with her and were best friends with her fast. She was very affectionate with them, and Luna and Cal loved her and were very happy with her. Carolina was very responsive and sent updates. She was really lovely and easy to communicate with. She was very respectful of our space and very tidy. She even washed the sheets and towels she used even when she didn’t need to. She put a lot of care into caring for Luna and Cal, and they looked very comfortable with her. Having Carolina as a pet sitter made our trip very easy, knowing our pets were cared for so well. We would love to have her back to sit for us again and highly recommend her.
Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. If you are privileged enough to ever have Janis sit we are certain that you will be as delighted and happy as we are.
Leo and Susi were wonderful pet sitters for our two cats. They were responsive, communicative, and gracious guests, and the I swear the house was cleaner when we got home than we left it. The cats were very contented. Any time we leave we will be checking in with them first. Such a pleasure to work with.
Tom was the PERFECT pet and house sitter. I went out of town for a while after my dad passed, and I had a few pet sitters bail before he came in for the rescue. He cleaned up the messes and I came home to a clean house and VERY happy babies! My two dogs LOVED him. He is extremely reliable, clean, trustworthy and was incredibly caring to my dogs. I would have him back ANYTIME and HIGHLY recommend him!!
Jerry and Suzanne were absolutely ideal sitters for our home and pets. We spoke with them ahead of their visit and could tell that they are genuine pet and travel lovers. Over their stay we got to see even more that they are wonderfully friendly, kind, and responsible - plus they kept us laughing with their updates and descriptions of our pets' antics while we were away. Our pets and plants were well loved and our house was spotless upon our return home, and they were even kind enough to leave a few goodies in the fridge. Our dog in particular seemed to miss them and their long walks around the neighborhood. Thank you Jerry and Suzanne! We wish you well in your travels!

First time boarding our two German Shepherds. We had a 9 day vacation planned and we're worried so much about how our doggies would do, how they would be when the get home, etc. Both our boys were great. They looked great and seemed very happy. The staff at Libery Hill/Pampered Paws were always very accommodating, even offering to send us text updates. We highly recommend!
Hello all. I’ve been boarding my doggie at LH for the past year typically when I have to travel overnight. Having said that, sometimes I board him because he is so happy there. As we drive down the road heading to LH, his ears perk up because he knows where he’s headed. The staff is always welcoming and R’s tail wags when he greets the staff. That is really what matters. They know his eating and sleeping habits and always give me a summary of his visit. On a recent visit he was on some medication and the staff at LH were on top of it. I know that when I drop him off, he’s in a excellent hands and gives me the peace of mind that he’s taken care of when I’m on the road. They are definitely a part of R’s extended family. :)
My dogs love it here and always come back healthy and happy.
Love this place. Little far from my house fir daily daycare but I board my dog there and they took her of her every time. I wish the best hung area was alittle bigger and cleaner
Great place that takes care of your pup. Have used multiple times for both kenneling and kennel/ training while away.
Just toured the facilities and i look forward to boarding my two dogs in the near future and recommending them to friends and family. Under new ownership and they have big plans. Im excited to see their completed upgrades and provide a much-needed service to this wonderful community.
*WARNING* I will simply state the facts. On 8/8/22 I boarded my 3 small Yorkies due to a out of state house hunting trip in which neither children nor dogs were allowed. My dogs were entrusted with the care of this facility until 8/20/22. We received a call on 8/16/22 in which we were informed that all of our dogs displayed symptoms of kennel cough. One dog was particularly unwell and was viewed as lethargic. We were asked if it would be ok if the dog could be scheduled to be seen by a veterinarian. We obliged and informed the facility of our local veterinarian's information. We received a confirmation call that informed us our dog would be seen by the vet on the following day 8/17/22. Our flight home had been delayed and we would not be home in time to retrieve "our babies" until after the facility had closed. The same evening on our way home from the airport we received another call informing us that our "pet was not doing well and not might make it through the evening if we did not retrieve him immediately". The "pet" in question was our beloved companion with no prior health issues to include a vet visit 3 days prior to being boarded with this facility. He entered this facility with a clean bill of health. At the time of retrievel our dog was found extremely dehydrated and hot to the touch, lethargic beyond movement, groaning, and could not walk nor move his extremities. The extreme nature of his condition was acknowledged and accompanied by a reminder of the bill due to the services rendered for the week of boarding. We rushed our baby to the nearest emergency veterinary facility in which he was diagnosed with sepsis pneumonia. Two days later accompanying a $5633.00 emergency veterinary bill, I was encouraged by the ER to contact the facility in order to establish a timeline of when the pneumonia had occured in order to make a life altering decision to allow my dog to continue life support or euthanize. No indefinite outlook could be diagnosed due to the lack of oxygen supplies to his lungs. He was in a oxygen supported kennel due to the lack of being able to breathe on his own. I was contacted by the owner after calling the facility. I inquired of the daily status of my dogs throughout their stay in which to establish the severity of not only the most ill but the other two diagnosed with health conditions. A timeline was not provided due to the owners inability to access those records "at the moment". I informed the owner of my dog's condition in which I was met with "I'm sorry" and akward silence.
It's hard to review the experience that your dog had while you weren't there, but as far as I can tell our dog had a blast for the week we boarded her here. The staff was very friendly and told us that she really enjoyed herself. The extra activities like swimming in the pool and hiking were exactly the kind of things she loves to do. So this was a great alternative to traditional boarding, though a bit out of the way for us. Obviously that's not their fault. Our dog came back very exhausted, which tells me she got plenty of exercise. Would definitely use them again for extended boarding.
Nice place, friendly staff, but I was misled on the price. I was given a price over the phone for 2 dogs, and when I picked them up I was charged per dog doubling what I had expected to pay. Won't do that again
I went to check this place out to board my dog. I found it to be filthy. I know the dogs play outside & bring dirt in but the walls, ceiling, windows & even the office was dirty. Years of dirt. It was hard to find the front door. The property was nice but unfortunitly I could not leave my dog there. ☹
We’ve been using Animal Friends Pampered Paws since it was named Liberty Hill Pet Resort. Our dog Neptune has always been anxious - he’s reactive to other dogs and slow to warm up to new people, so he had a very hard time at other boarding kennels. but everyone at AFPP takes the time to gain his trust, and he LOVES going there. We take advantage of the “loner” package to get him some isolation from the other dogs and playtime with his favorite humans. We trust them absolutely to keep him safe and happy while he’s away. He is always excited to arrive, and happy and healthy when we bring him home. It’s well worth driving by other kennels to get him the care he needs at AFPP!
Our dog Lily has been coming here since she was a pup. She is very familiar with all aspects of the facility. She has participated in Puppy Class, Obedience Class, Barn Hunt, Dock Diving, Doggie Daycare and her personal favorite - swimming. I love that she has so many opportunities to be active and use her brain when she is there. A shout out to Rachel, who knows her very well. We appreciate all of the staff who give her their time and attention.
I bring my pup, Boone, to daycare maybe once a week just so he can get some energy out and play with other dogs. He met his best friend there and loves going. When I ask "Do you want to go to daycare?", Boone runs outside and sits next to the car. He is very well taken care of and always comes home exhausted. If I ever need to leave him for an extended period of time, I would choose Animals Friends' Pampered Paws.
I can’t say enough good things about Animal Friends’ Pampered Paws in Bealeton, VA! Our beloved dog, Buttercup, has been visiting for 11 years, and the care she receives is exceptional. Rachel and Shawn have consistently gone above and beyond to make sure Buttercup feels comfortable and loved. Rachel’s warm demeanor and attention to detail always put us at ease, while Shawn’s expertise and genuine affection for animals shine through in every interaction. From grooming to playtime, we trust them completely with Buttercup’s care. It’s clear that the entire team is dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for every pet. We’re so grateful for their outstanding service and wouldn’t dream of taking Buttercup anywhere else!
We are new to the area and were nervous about leaving our 6 month old puppy at a boarder for the first time. After calling around multiple other boarders in the area we decided to try Pampered Paws. It was important for us to support a facility that assumes dogs need outside time and it is included in the price, unlike others we reached out to. When we came to drop him off for the first time, they let us take him back to see the kennel and help get him settled, which was so appreciated. Not only that, but they sent us pictures and videos of our boy outside playing with other dogs, which eased our concerns, especially my kids who were terribly worried about him. During his second stay an employee reached out to make sure of what time we were coming to pick him up, being willing to stick around a few extras minutes to accommodate us. When we went to pick him up, he was outside with a group of dogs, with an employee present providing love, attention and supervision. We have been very impressed with Pampered Paws and are so relieved to have found somewhere we feel at peace leaving our pup.
I love this place! The pool is such a great feature. My dog Murphy gets so excited when we get to the road leading up to the resort. We will definitely keep coming back!
My dog loves going to daycare at Animal Friends' Pampered Paws. The staff are all great and love animals. My dog gets lots of outdoor playtime and socializing with other dogs whenever he's there. I would highly recommend.
Fabulous place for training, swimming, field rental, grooming, boarding, day care, and play dates. Both of our pups love coming here and I highly recommend this establishment!
Our long coated Akita Beau loves coming to AFPP. We use their boarding services and Beau gets the extra large kennel! The staff is always excited to see Beau too. They went above and beyond and took him to their vet when needed and stayed there with him, and kept me updated the whole time. Would highly recommend!
The Barn Hunt & Nose Fun classes offered at AFPP are Top Notch! The instructors are extremely knowledgeable with incredible resumes and the students are welcoming! The offering of classes, run-thrus and trials means we always have an opportunity to train. My dog has found her favorite game!
Karen is a great sitter for our pets, she came before we left town to get acquainted with our dog and 4 cats. She was very thorough in going through the routines that they have. This is the second time that we have used the service and will definitely use them again. I have already recommended her to couple of friends.
Karen has been petsitting for my dogs for 15 years. She is exceptional, reasonable, and the dogs and cats love her.
Great Service. We needed someone on short notice and Champion was right there ready to help. Our dog was well cared for and enjoyed her visits. Very reasonable fees.
