Couldn’t recommend Randy more highly. Great communication and my cats loved him. Probably the most relaxed I’ve ever been on a trip because he put me and my pets at ease. 10/10!

Bellyrubs and head scratches wanted? I'm your girl.
Shallene was a wonderful sitter. She was easy to communicate with, clear and responded in a timely manner. We came home to a happy healthy pup who had clearly been given lots of walks and love. She sent us the most adorable pictures on a daily basis, and we felt very comfortable that Annie was in good hands. The house was spotless and the plants well maintained. She is welcome back anytime we travel!

Peter had instant connection with our dog Lila. It was nice to watch how quickly Lila bonded to him. The other pets, specially the cats, where happy with him too. He was trustworthy and reliable. He came the day before to learn the ropes and we could feel the house and pets were in good hands. We highly recommend him and will have him again when he is available.

I have a tendency to call all animals pups, no matter the pet
Kenneth was a terrific sitter, and I'll reach out to him for future sits. He kept me posted on the cats with frequent photos and comments, and he responded quickly to my texts. My house was neat and clean when I returned, and working with him was easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend him !!

Two outdoor enthusiasts and pet lovers, looking for new places to travel!
This is the 2nd sit by Melissa and Tyler within two months. Once again, Melissa was reliable, tidy, and loving to my cat, Troy. Communication was always perfect to let me know how my cat was doing and their arrival and departure time. Melissa and Tyler are invited any time and I would highly recommend them.

Two Ladies...Travelin' Chicas! Take that trip...We're here!
We're very grateful for connecting with Johnna / "the girls" and knowing our house & animals we're being well cared for while we were gone for 7 weeks! They even implemented some positive adjustment (e.g. dog bed, dog toys, a kitchen table we realized afterwards was poorly placed, and advice for some rail dust on our vehicle). Thanks again! We hope you really enjoyed your stay.

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!
Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.
Natalie and Christian were dream pet sitters while we were out of the country for 2.5 weeks. From start to finish, they were reliable and professional, with excellent communication. They had took great care of our dog and chickens and left the house and car in great shape. Plus, they’re just a really sweet young couple. We’d highly recommend them as house sitters.
Tom provided a last minute sit when my 2 week long trip got extended to the 3rd. The previous zeewoi sitter was no longer available for the 3rd week, and Tom came in as a savior. As requested, he started his sit a day prior to the posted dates (thank you for being flexible). He met the prior zeewoi in person, since I was not in town, and got to know the house and cats quickly. He sent pictures of the cats each day and added a note about their well being. He was independent and was able to figure out how to use the litter genie on his own. I returned to a clean home and healthy happy cats. Would love to have Tom return and recommend him to anyone leaving their pets in his care.
Felecia was an excellent sitter and perfect companion for Livi, our 3 yr old Aussie mix! She was always prompt with communication when needed, took great care of our pet and house and was just as clean coming home as we left it. I would not hesitate to recommend Felecia for other sits.
Davis and Sydney were loving sitters for our pets. We even had an extra cat (our son's) and they took great care of all of the pets and our home. The pictures and the comments they sent showed us they figured out all of their quirky personalities very fast. It was nice to come home to a clean house and all pets were safe and happy! We would ask them back again.
Ce was an amazing house sitter for our best bud Atlas. She not only took amazing care of our needy pup, she took great care of the home as well. I honestly think she left it cleaner than I left it for her! We certainly hope she is around the next time our best friend needs a friend. If you're looking for a responsible caregiver for your pets and home - look no further!
I could not have asked for a better first time sitter experience! Terry & Vinnie were absolutely wonderful people. They took stellar care of my beloved pets and my home. Their communication with me was enough that I felt perfectly at ease during my time away and in turn, they were super responsive if I contacted them. My pets were relaxed and happy when I returned!
Judith was one of the most considerate, trustworthy sitters we've ever had. We had to leave in a rush for a family emergency and really didn't have time to prepare the house as we usually do, but Judith took all in stride, leaving the apartment spotless. She sent photos of Baby Boo and Janet on arrival, putting us immediately at ease because it was so obvious the cats were completely comfortable, zero stress, allowing us to relax that they were in such good hands. She sent photos and video every day, which delighted us, confident that they were getting next level care. Judith would take care of anyone's home and pets with as much care as she did at ours, and we highly recommend. Hope she can come back!!
Janis is absolutely the best pet sitter and home care we have had. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it. I highly recommend Janis and you will be fortunate to have her as your sitter.

The owner is very nice & he was able to fit my dogs in last minute! Super patient with my dogs that have anxiety and it’s family owned so you know your pets are in great hands! I would totally recommend this pet hotel to my friends & family. They also gave me military discount yay! I love that they do that because I travel often so any bit helps! :)
We LOVE Ellie’s Pet Hotel! Our dog spends a lot of time there, and they always give he so much love! They have helped us out in a pinch several times, and really just do an awesome job overall. We highly recommend bringing your dog to Ellie’s!
I've trusted them with my dog so many times and every time has been a great experience. If we even drive past she gets excited then sad when we don't stop. They're a great business and I will always trust them with Stella
Great place to board your dogs! Owner is amazing and it’s so easy to communicate to them before and during their stay! Quick responses to texts and so kind! Also picked up a day early as our trip plans changed and the dogs were ready to go when we got there and they both were clean and smelled great which I wasn’t expecting to be honest, they were happy and well taken care of. Definitely recommend this place!!
It's hard to trust a place with your dog, I'm so happy when we moved here someone recommended this place. They are amazing! Clean, staff is great, and I always have a happy dog when I pick up!
We took our 4 dogs to Ellie’s while we went on vacation. They are awesome. Our dogs were right at home. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!
We've been taking our dogs here for probably four years, and they do such a great job! Prices are fair, and the crew are great. Never had a complaint, and we'll keep using them while we're here.
My cattle dog suffers from severe separation anxiety, which usually means relying on friends to watch him when I'm away. However, this weekend posed a challenge finding anyone to help us, leading us to seek a last-minute solution. Thankfully, we discovered Ellie's through recommendations and decided to give it a shot. It was my dog's first time being boarded, and to our delight, he thoroughly enjoyed it! He was even reluctant to leave when my wife came to pick him up. Without a doubt, we'll be entrusting Ellie's with our furry friend in the future.
I have been taking my dog here for 3 years now and I can not say enough good things about Ellie’s Pet Hotel. The owners are always so kind and excited to see my dog come in and she is always so happy to see them! I have no hesitation leaving her there and knowing that she will be safe and happy!
The owners are so very kind & the boarding areas spotless! They're efficient, professional & respond quickly. We were so pleased to have our aging kitty be well taken care of!
Our petsitter of 15 years recently retired and we were faced with the daunting task of finding a new one. As you can imagine, finding someone new that you trust to care for your "furry and feathered friends" is pretty tough. We read the reviews, had Lauralee over for a Meet and Greet and decided she would be a great fit. She was prompt, a great communicator, well organized in our introductory meeting, during her visits and during her follow-ups. She provided a detailed recap of how the days went and really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable being out of town. (She even cleared up some downed limbs in our yard from the recent storm and got introduced to the eat, chase/race and barf routine of our cats - sorry about that!) Highly recommend!
Lauralee was great. We had a meet and greet at our house where she asked all the right questions. The dogs loved her immediately. While we were gone she texted us updates and even sent pictures of our fur babies. It was so nice knowing they were being cared for we while we were away and getting playtime in the yard with her every day. We opted for 2 visits a day and she showed up each time as expected. We will definitely be calling her each time we leave the house for more than a day. Thanks Lauralee for giving us peace of mind.
Lauralee is absolutely amazing. She is very dependable and arrives when she says she will. My cats are my babies, and leaving them under Lauralee’s care makes it stress free.
Loved our experience with K-9 Pet Sitting and Lauralee! She was very professional and friendly and gave us updates on how the house and our cat was doing. Would definitely recommend, it gave us so much peace of mind on our trip!
Lauralee is absolutely wonderful. She stayed over night for 2 nights and 3 days. This is the first time we have ever left our big boy with a sitter. She gave us updates during her visits and a wonderful report at the end of her 3 day stay. Opie took very well to her and even slept on the bed with her. We are so lucky to have found her and will continue her awesome services. 😊🐶🐾
Piece of mind during travel secured with the help of Lauralee and K9 Playtime Pet Sitting. We had daily reports and sweet pics to let us know how our pups were doing while we were on travel. In addition, there we things that came up we had not anticipated which were addressed by Lauralee - above and beyond what we had hired her for. Will hire her again.
Lauralee looked after our pets for two weeks and did a wonderful job. She is kind, dependable and followed all my care instructions. The regular updates and photos were much appreciated. The house looked great upon our return, and the pets were happy and well taken care of during our absence. We will definitely use her services again.
Lauralee is fantastic. I have used her services for the past 3 years. I trust that my violet will be well taken care of and won't use anyone else!!
Highly recommend, she’s so amazing!! Attention to detail and leaves everything the way she finds it or even helps clean up toys. It’s reassuring to know my pup is taken care of when I’m at work. Helpful to have flexibility with times as my schedule isn’t always consistent. Even my neighbors have commented how happy my little guy is on walks with her. We love K9 playtime pet sitting!
When I travel, it’s important to me that my dogs get the same level of exercise, outdoor time and care as they do when we are home. Lauralee took our two dogs for multiple daily hour long walks on their favorite trail - she is clearly very good with them. We came home to happy, healthy pups (and cat). She shared pictures as well!
My dog Theodore has boarded here twice now. I love that I get daily pictures of my dog while there. He is always smiling and thrilled to be having so much fun. The employees love him too! Reasonably priced.
I have taken my dog here for about a year and a half, for daycare and boarding. My dog has so much fun here. The staff is amazing and I am so grateful to have a place my dog loves to be when I work. Highly recommend!!!!
I am sad writing this review, but I want to share to make sure that other doggos stay safe. We have loved Royal and even worked for them a few summers ago. Unfortunately, since management changed, they have implemented changes that inherently increase risk between dogs. My dog came home after daycare, limping, and when I called to ask if something had happened, the staff said that another dog had become aggressive towards my dog. The interaction should have been disclosed to me rather than me having to find out after evaluating my dog for injuries. Further, they let me know that my MINI Goldendoodle was playing on the big dog side and that the staff subjectively choose to mix the small and big dogs if they feel that they are all “chill”. This was in the words of the manager who also told me that my mini Goldendoodle was apparently a “big” dog because of his weight, not his size. She has also never met my dog to see that he is in fact, a small-medium dog and has ALWAYS stayed on the small dog side at any facility we have boarded him at, including Royal. The manager was argumentative and defensive rather than quelling the anxiety related to the changes they neglected to tell their customers. Overall, I just feel that it’s important that dog owners know that they will now be mixing the small and big dogs without notification or justification based on the manager’s rational that “dogs should get to be dogs and play together”. I can tell you from firsthand experience working there that dogs can and will get aggressive at any moment for any reason and that mixing small and big dogs should never be happening. Having an open kennel and separating them is risk enough. I hope this is helpful for other dog owners.
Always take my dog here for boarding! They take really good care of her and they send me daily updates. The staff is super attentive, and the dogs get lots of attention and exercise. And it’s very affordable. LOVE this place!
LOVE that my dog gets to spend most of the day outside and playing with other dogs (after passing a personality/aggression test, of course). We’ve used them multiple times and Dante loves it! Michelle and her crew are very good. 10/10 would recommend
I love this place. From the beginning to the end they were so kind and helpful. They updated me with pictures of my pup all through her stay which really made me feel comfortable and more relaxed on my trip to see pics of her! We had some confusion with pick up and they were very accommodating and understanding and helpful with this mix up. If I lived hours away I would still take my dog here because that’s how great it is! I’ve taken my dog other places and am aware that she isn’t as happy, but here I could tell she was happy.
I had an amazing boarding experience with Royal Dog Boarding! They were so patient with my dog that struggles with separation anxiety! They also sent me pictures every day that my dog was boarded. They have a wonderful setup, and you can tell that they really love each of the dogs they care for! By far, my best boarding experience!
Great pricing on grooming. Took great care of my pups and did an excellent job!!
Dropped my puppy off for a meet and greet this morning before she stays there while we are on vacation. The employee that helped me was very knowledgeable about the entire process and helped me feel at ease about leaving our puppy there for an extended period of time. I have no doubt that our puppy will be cared for very well while we are on vacation. They do video and picture updates for owners as well while you're gone. Very cool.
Avery and his staff will treat your dog like their own. He goes above and beyond to make sure they’re comfortable and healthy. They’re outside most of the day and playing with other dogs. And I love the daily pictures they send! There’s nowhere else I would board our pup! Thanks Avery for creating a place in our valley that we know our dogs are in great hands.
Kim is awesome! We needed her on fairly short notice and she was available! She's always done well with our pets, they're so excited to see her when she comes over! Highly recommend if you need a sitter. Kim is truly a luxury when traveling and provides peace of mind for our little critters!
I had only had my kitten for 3 months when I had to travel. I called Kimberly she came over and she agreed to watch my kitten. She did an awesome job. I got videos and photos along with text updates. She was awesome to work with and my kitten loved her. My worry was gone after the first report. Kimberly truly loves animals and treats them all like her own.
Kim is super nice and gave me updates while I was away which was going the extra mile :-) I've hired her multiple times. When I got back after a week away, the water fountain was full, the upstairs water dish was full, their food dish had food, the litter boxes were cleaned, and both cats were happy! Kim is terrific -- Give this service a try!
Kim has done a great job taking care of our bunny! She's attentive to the details of care, and I can tell how much she cares about animals. She really goes above and beyond and we really appreciate all that Kim has done for us and Flopsy.
Absolutely best pet sitter ever! She took more than great care of all my animals while I was away. I had to leave last minute and I have never had to be away from my animals before. She showed up quick and got the details down fast. She kept in contact through the whole ordeal and even taught me quite a few things I didn't know about certain animals I had. When I got back home my animals were more than happy, she treated them like an angel. One of my dogs needed medication that i somehow lost in the scramble to leave but she went anove and beyond and went to my vet and picked up more. She evsn stocked my guinea pig with fresh fruits and veggies as I had none. Kim I can't thank you enough, without you I would have lost my babies and for that I am forever thankful. Noxy, Destiny, Princess, Onyx, Seline, Hades, and Scrappy all send their love and warmth.
I have used Precious Pets Pet Sitting Service several times and have been very satisfied every time. Kim is very dependable, thorough, and works well with my animals. They seem very comfortable with her, which is important to me. In addition to her excellent care, she cleans the litter boxes, throws the ball for my dogs, and gives medications to my pets if needed. I have also asked her to water my flowers and fill my fountains during her pet sitting visits. They are always beautiful when I get back home. Kim is great and I highly recommend her.
Kim goes above and beyond for the pets she sees. I am pretty particular about pet care and Kim checks all my boxes, no matter how ridiculous! What I love the most is she actually cares about my bunny, and takes the time to check on him BEYOND the times we asked. She is easy to contact, sends pictures of your pet, and is so sweet. Highly recommend to every pet owner, she brings so much peace of mind :)
Kim is an extremely responsible, kind, and beloved pet sitter. She has watched my pet cat many times, and I have always felt that he was watched after wonderfully in her care. My cat is the anxious type, so the first time I left him for an entire week both me and him were a little nervous, but Kim greatly soothed both of our worries by being punctual, patient, and communicative. She even visited more times than necessary (without charging me) when my cat had stress-related diarrhea - just to ensure that he was calm, happy, and was given everything he needed to make him healthy again. Kim also has purchased toys for my cat once (again, at no charge to me), which he loves immensely. I greatly recommend this pet-setting service for anyone who would like someone to watch their home and their pets while they're away. I have never felt more secure with a sitter than I have with Kim, and I am overjoyed that she is a reliable person I can always count on when I am away.
I took a trip for a week and a half and had Kim took care of my pets while I was gone. She did a fantastic job!! My pets were well taken care of while I was gone. I returned to them with water in their bowls, clean litter boxes, and very happy pets. I had her come over to show her through everything before I left because I wanted a chance to meet her first. My pets are like my children. She has a real connection with animals. Even my snotty cat that doesn't like anyone was more friendly with her than any stranger I've seen before. I would recommend her to anyone that is in need of a pet sitter for whatever the reason. I will be sure to use Kim and Precious Pet Sitting from now on when I go on vacation, or any other occasion when I'm not available to care for my pets!! Do yourself a favor and give her a call. Don't waste your time and money on anyone else. You'll be glad you did!!
Kim is extremely responsible and responsive. My partner and I have employed her twice (once for 10 days and another for a month) and we are happy and satisfied with her services. Kim did everything we asked of her and kept in contact while we were gone (it’s so nice to receive pictures of our Mo!) Kim also offered to bring in the mail, an above-and-beyond service, and she refreshed the sand in the litter box which we hadn’t asked her to do. All in all we could not be happier with Kim. 5 stars is the obvious rating for her.
Jennie is amazing! Our dog Gus jumps for joy every time we pull up to drop him off! You won’t find a more caring and professional care provider than Cozy Critters and the pricing is the best out there.
Cozy Critters, thank you so much for always gently loving and spoiling our fur baby! This place is a little further North from where we live and there are others so much closer to us BUT this place is where our baby belongs! We will ask for care from Cozy Critters over and over. Enjoy your vacation or quick getaway in peace and knowing your fur baby will be safe here!
Cozy Critters Pet Sitting is the best care for my other than myself. I have complete trust in this business owner and know first hand of the honesty and dependability that is characteristic.
They didn’t end up sitting our pup, but we’re very nice and even gave us a recommendation for somewhere else! Answered really quick and very polite! I will be recommending to my friends and family with smaller dogs! 🐶
We have always loved taking our dogs to Jennie! We have been taking our dogs to her for 10 years and have never trusted anyone more ❤️
If you want someone to love and take care of your fur babies like they are their own. I recommend Jennie.
Jenny is absolutely wonderful And great with dogs! We will Always use her in the future! Thx Jenny🥰🥰🥰
Competitive pricing, easy to schedule and work with. Professional, and very good with pets
Jennie is awesome with the pets and so attentive!
This was a great place for our pup. We were able to get in on fairly short notice for Christmas boarding. Rebecca was very helpful explaining their regulations and facilities. Our poor dog was very anxious, as she is very young, and this was her first boarding experience. But the owners worked with her and calmed her and played with her. I don’t think she could have had a better boarding experience. I was very impressed with their dog handling skills, and their patience with the animals. The kennels are in a spacious, repurposed horse barn. There is a big group play area, as well as separate dog runs (for trickier dogs like mine), and the surrounding area is rural and open. I would absolutely board here again.
I was super nervous about leaving my pup, since he’s a little shy and not very socialized. Rebecca was great with him, gave me daily updates and he loved his stay!
Took our two dogs here for a whole week during spring break. They seemed to have really enjoyed themselves! We got lots of updates and pictures which we appreciated. Will use RTR again and will be recommending to local friends.
We left our dog with Rebecca for two weeks while we were traveling. Our pup is so precious to us! We were so worried about how she would adjust. Rebecca was helpful and straightforward with the process. She answered all our questions and met us ahead of our trip to meet our dog and ensure a good fit. While we were gone, she sent pictures and updates of how she was doing. Our dog was extremely well cared for. She told us how she was interacting with others, her temperament, if she was eating, etc. which to me helped me understand that she was spending time with her. Instead of a simple "she's fine," Rebecca always went into honest detail about how our dog was adjusting. Of course, when a dog goes to a new place, it will be stressful, but Rebecca helped our dog and us have the best time possible. I absolutely love the space they have to allow dogs to run and play. I also loved knowing she could sleep in her crate inside the house at night. Overall, we will use RTR again for future trips. We highly recommend!
This was a great place to take our dog last minute while we were on vacation! They updated us daily on how she was doing and sent us photos of her out playing with the other dogs. I would highly recommend them if you need a place for your pet to stay.
My friend Pat and I were headed to Yellowstone and she didn't want to take her dog Scamp. She had left him with family before and he was really cranky about it and pouted for days. She had never boarded him before though and she was really nervous that he would feel abandoned or worse have an attitude. His name is Scamp for a reason. He ended up having such a great time, I'm not sure he really wanted to go home with us. The pictures of him playing with their dog really helped and we ended up having a much better trip knowing how much fun he was having on his play date. I would give 10 stars if I could. Thanks so much for taking such good care of him Rebecca.
We boarded our 8 month old Portuguese Water Dog with Rail Trail for spring break and they did awesome with him. He is a handful and super high energy. They worked with him on a few things and were consistent with him and he came home understanding a few more commands. They even gave me some helpful tips and resources for training. They have plenty of room for the dogs to roam and play and I can tell my dog enjoyed being there. We will definitely be using them in the future. I highly recommend Rail Trail!
We were needing a place for our Pup & ended up finding Rail Tail Ranch pretty last minute. Nonetheless, they were extremely responsive and helped us get everything booked & taken care of for our pup (Duke). Prices were really unbeatable… other rover options were 2-8x the price. Which is outrageous. They sent updates, allowed Duke time to play with other pups, & made sure to keep him separate from any other dogs that were there that didn’t get along with him or were aggressive. Thanks for the help & great pricing Rail Tail Ranch!
I needed dog sitting for five days, while I did some emergency travel. My puppy was very young, and I was very nervous about leaving her for so long. I was sent photos of her every day, along with a note about how she was doing. This was a great comfort to me! When I picked her up, my puppy was clean, healthy, and happy. I will definitely use this dog sitter in the future!
Awesomeness, super friendly, great communication, pics of your pup regularly, flexible...pretty much perfect, my pup loves it there.
Megan was so incredible and took such great care of our dog while we were away! I think our dog is going to be disappointed we’re home since he had so much fun while we were gone.
We just got home from today. In the past, we have managed our dogs in various ways...sometimes Lauryn has taken Harli and Bear, but she and Brad were not an option this year. BUT...she did, thru one of her friends, connect us with Megan Smock and Happy Hearts Home and Pet Sitting. Megan has been awesome. Hazel and Harli have been able to stay home where they are comfortable and happy. Megan has been coming to walk, play and spend time (60 minutes) twice during the day and then spending the night. They stayed on their regular schedule in their space. When we got home today they were certainly glad to see us but they were not stressed or crazy like they have been in the past with the many different options we have tried. Megan, Happy Hearts Home and Pet Sitting certainly gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from Harli, Hazel and the rest of the Tometich family!
Would 100 percent recommend! Megan visited our cat twice a day. She was very communicative and kept us updated on how our cat was doing. We got pictures and videos throughout the time we were gone. She blew our expectations out of the water! Thank you to the team at Happy Hearts pet care!
Megan was great with our pets who can be suspicious of new people. They warmed up to her (and the treats) very quickly. She was also very professional in sticking to the schedule we requested. I was very pleased with the service!
Megan is an excellent person. Very caring, compassionate, playful, reliable. I will recommend her to my family and friends. She did excellent with my dog and kittens. I have peace of mind having Megan taking excellent care of my furry family. Thank you again for helping me to take care of my furry family while I was away. Geovanna T.
Megan watched my 3 babies for a week while we were out of town. She did an amazing job as I know puppies can be difficult. Every visit and sleepover she would send a picture of each of my pets along with an update on how everyone is doing. My senior dog got sick and Megan did such a great job cleaning up her accidents, I wouldn’t have even known they had happened if she didn’t tell me about it. I 5/5 recommend this amazing, professional business to watch and take care of your pets while you’re gone. I will forever be a loyal customer of Megan’s.
Megan is amazing! I recently moved back to Utah and needed a pet sitter for Thanksgiving on short notice for my two cats and hamster. I was gone for 4 days and Megan came to meet me and the animals prior to me leaving. She was great with their feeding/cleaning instructions and gave me updates of her visit with them through the app. I’m so glad I found her and she allowed me to have a relaxing worry-free trip. Highly recommend!
Megan watched our 3 kitties while we were out of town and she did a great job of playing with them and making sure they have everything they need!
We had a boarding place lined up for our Great Danes, but one of them went into heat three days before we were supposed to leave on vacation, so had to make other arrangements. Super last minute, Megan was able to fit us in! She met the dogs before even, and sent us updates after ever visit she made. The dogs loved her, and them being able to stay in their own house while we were gone was the best. And to boot, she charges less for our two dogs than the boarding place does. 10/10 recommend her, and will definitely be using her again in the future!
When I needed help taking care of my puppy, after returning to work, Megan came highly recommended, and she didn't disappoint! Such an amazing person with a positive attitude and a great work ethic. She loves animals, and my dog just loves her. Megan was ALWAYS on-time and would send me an update and a picture of her time with Jax. I would recommend Megan to anyone that loves their pet.
We brought our doggies Luna and Jinxy, a husky and mini Aussie, to be boarded for the first time in the three years that we have been their pet parents. Shancey (sp?) made us feel at ease and even let the dogs come for a "get to know you" visit. Our dogs were well cared for and came home happy and healthy! They even have an option to bathe your fur babies before sending them home! I will definitely use their services again and recommend them to family and friends. Thanks Furry Friends!
So happy with my dogs grooming experience! She was loved on and you could tell. She was pampered with a haircut and nail trim. She was very calm and happy around everyone there. Thanks, highly recommend!! 5 stars all the way!
Our dog did not want to leave, very well organized and reasonably priced!
I have used Furry Friends several times over the past few years. I have 2 smaller dogs and they were able to keep them in the same crate and charge us a very reasonable rate. My dogs are indoor dogs and I feel they are well taken care of when they are given to the care of Furry Friends. Neither dog is scared of the place so I believe they enjoy their time there. I would recommend for the reasonable price and for the owners. They are very good at working with you and care about animals.
My dog was happy to see me when I picked her up probably because she was tired of the place. The pros: value, flexible drop/pickup times. The cons: Unsanitary and no attention to my pets needs on her stay. She Was covered in her own urine when I picked her up and her eyes looked terribly filthy. So far since going to this place my dog has had 4 days to recover I had to take her to the vet and get her medicated and given her food because she had diarrhea when she came home, And she vomited when she was outside and she lost balance. Now $78 later and medicine for 6 days my dog is on the up-and-up I would not take any dog to this place once again unless you're going to be for a short visit. It was only my 1st time there with my small dog and I was surprised that you know after 11 days that it was that way but like I said I wasn't a regular and this was my 1st time there so hopefully anyone else that deals with this man has better luck than me. When I asked how things went with my dog all Darwin said is she's a little noise maker chirped a little that was all I got from him so a very dry and not so informative experience so beware customers who deal with this business.
I've been using Furry friends for over three years to kennel my two dogs whenever traveling out of town. Darwin is super nice and reliable, he makes you feel confident dropping your pets off for boarding and he's always been easy to get ahold of in the event I'm running late to pick them up. I'd definitely recommend Furry Friends for boarding in the Valley.
If I could give this place zero stars I would! Do NOT bring your dogs here!!!! We were out of the country for 10 days and left our one year old boxer there and came back to her with blood all over her and her tail all bloody. They claimed she bit her own tail... She didn't! And they did nothing to take care of it, he also charged me full price and made no apologies for what happened. This happened 5 days before we picked her up and there was no effort made to help her at all until we called and said we were coming, then they wanted extra time so they could give her a bath... Yeah just to cover the fact that she was covered in blood! Got home and took off her collar to find swollen big bite marks all around her throat and she now cowers and runs away if any human moves( which she didn't do before) this place is horrible! They are obviously the best price for the reason that they neglect your dog and put it in with other strange dogs. I'm horrified!
DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! I took our blood hound-german shepherd mix dog there while we were going on vacation for a few days. She was very traumatized when we picked her up. The owner of the facility, it's in his back yard, practically, wasn't even there when we tried to pick her up. I even told him prior when we were coming. Luckily his daughter came home after we'd been there over 10 minutes trying to decide what to do. I paid extra so my dog would be walked two times a day--they advertise this on the website--since she has so much energy. Apparently his daughter walks the dogs, and she didn't know anything about it when I picked up our dog--she wasn't walked once. I didn't see exactly where she was kept but it smelled horrible and I do not recommend taking your dog here. There is a wonderful new place in Nibley. We took our dog there and I wondered if she'd behave the same way as she did after Furry Friends; but she was fine. It was worth paying a little more.
I have boarded my dogs there numerous times in the past 5 years. They are very nice people and the facility is great, newer building with big kennels. They took very good care of our beagles and basset Hounds, while we were gone to Maine during Christmas for two weeks.
Our Tess is a German Short Hair extremely active and needy ❤️ her. Furry Friends is the best around. The drop off and pick up was very fast, easy and convenient. Tess was clean clipped and happy when we picked her up. The Host Is great with animals and has a special way with our Tess. The entire place is clean and comfortable. The cost is the best of all. Loved the peace of mind that our Tess was in good hands.
This is the second time using this service and noticed after picking my dog up, she had two bit marks. One above the eye and the second below the jaw, which appears to be a bit mark as the skin was broken and scabbed over before picking her up. At the time, we didn't notice it when picking her up due to her black color fur. Ms. Abby is a sweet lady who loves dogs and isn't always shared information by the owners about the dogs taken in. As this may not be her fault as dogs will be dogs, she never mentioned anything about a possible incident, so the dogs weren't supervised or failed to shared information. We were hoping things would have worked out, but feel that the safety of my dog is important and will seek other boarding locations.
Our dog Jack loves it here. Abby is so pleasant to work with. We highly recommend Abby‘s doghouse.
We took our 2 year old Berner to Abby’s for an overnight stay for the first time this past weekend and our experience was wonderful! Abby is so kind and you can tell she loves animals, especially dogs, so much. She sent us pictures of our Rosie and let us know how she was doing. Rosie seemed happy and well cared for when I came to pick her up. We were so nervous to leave her but she did so well. We will be using Abby’s Dog House again!
This place is a total scam! We wanted to adopt a pup, and I told her ( Abby) that I would drive over 2 1/2 hours to meet with her, meet pup, and pay in cash. This transaction was to take place in less than 24 hours. My daughter was supposed to go with me to meet said pup, get info, pay ( in cash) and be done. We were so excited. She blocked me after I told her we wouldn’t be placing a deposit, as we were driving to meet her at her “ business”, the next day. With all the cash in hand. She blocked me, told me I was playing games. Ummmmmm… what?!
I can't say enough good things about Abby's Dog House! I took my 6 month Huskadoodle, Macie, there for a three-day stay while I went out of of town, and she had a blast! Abby clearly loves and cares about each and every dog that she welcomes in. Abby has unbeatable prices, was flexible, and responsive to questions via text and call. She sent me occasional updates to let me know how Macie was doing and even sent a couple pictures! Macie had so much fun that she was bummed for the two days after she came home. She definitely missed all her new friends and the “home away from home” that she found with Abby. I've already recommended Abby to a couple fellow dog owners and will continue to spread the word. Thanks, Abby!
We love, Abby! She's been patient with our pup as he's a rescue and quite skittish. He's come a long way with enjoying daycare/boarding because of her. She's fairly priced and really loves the dogs. She uses great hygienic practices and allows the dogs out alone or with groups depending on their personalities. She takes care of them like her own. Can't say enough good about Abby's Dog House!
There aren't enough words to explain how AMAZING, WONDERFUL & TRULY CARING Abby's dog house is!!! She is truly a woman of her word! We were going out of town for work we didn't want to leave our pit rot mix with just anyone when isn't socialized a lot with pups her size, so we were nervous. When Tina met everyone she was timid & nervous around them, then here comes Abby like the damn hero she is & took our babe with love & was very very patient with her to gain Tina's trust & the rest is history!! Our dog Tina was beyond excited & had tons of fun playing with other furr friends & gave Abby LOTS & LOTS OF KISSES before we left. Abby is one amazing woman & has our full support & a forever customer & a new friend. Hands down the best doggy daycare out there! If you're looking for local & owned by a caring dog lover herself PLEASE DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT ABBY'S!!! She truly has a heart of gold!!
Abby is amazing! We haven't left our 2 dogs with anyone before and we were really nervous about finding a good place for them, but Abby is amazing and did such a great job! She sends pictures so you can see how they are doing and you can just tell how much she loves animals. Great pricing as well. Highly recommend Abby and her services!
Abby is amazing. I was worried about dropping our dog off with a stranger and her being neglected the whole time we were gone. This was the complete opposite. Abby really loves these dogs and takes care of all of them like they're her own. I won't look anywhere else for a dog sitter.
Abby’s is truly our favorite boarding / day care in Utah. She cares for each animal so deeply and it shows in everything she does. Our doggo looks forward to his time at Abby’s and cannot stop wagging his tail when we gets there and nearly jumps for joy when he sees Abby herself.
Kyle and his Paws 4 Thought team came highly recommended, and we couldn't be more grateful. We left our English Bulldog in their care for 3 weeks and the transformation was incredible! Our dog is 3.5 years old and can be very stubborn - everything has to be on his terms! With their help, our dog was confident in the ring and followed Kyle's lead every step of the way. Our dog finished in just 3 weekend shows, and Kyle's expert handling contributed to that.
So this is my current situation...made an appointment for my goldendoodle Dixie, after her last visit, for this July, I called to confirm her appointment and they had lost it or didn't enter it correctly, so I had to make another appointment for Aug 18th at 8:am. I live in Ogden Valley so I got up early and arrived 5minutes early. When I went to check Dixie in, I was told the groomer called in sick for the day. They told me the groomer would call me for a new date. So here's the rub...no phone call to let me know the groomer was sick, no apology for wasting my gas and time, and now no call for a reschedule..I called this morning and was told the groomer would call again...but still nothing. Don't waste your time here, unprofessional, not concerned about your business.
Love the way they care for our dogs with our ever moving crazy schedule. Our dogs share a stall and come home happy.
This is the only place I'll leave my dog. The price is good & the owner is very nice
Went out of town and did not want to leave dogs home alone.. or have to arrange for someone to check on them. paws for thought was recommended by our vet. While away, called and checked on how things was going. It was a great relief. Everyone was happy and healthy upon my return.
I highly recommend Paws 4 Thought! Recently I boarded my 3 year old male German Shorthaired Pointer there for over a week. Paws 4 Thought was one of the only locations that I could find that would board a non-neutered dog. Before selecting Paws 4 Thought as our boarding facility, I visited a handful of other facilities in the area. Paws 4 Thought was by far the best when it comes to cleanliness and boarding conditions. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and kind. It's obvious that the animal's well-being is his top priority. He was even able to train our dog to eat twice a day (morning and night) instead of free-feeding (which he informed us is not a healthy way to feed a dog) within the week he had him. He did not charge us for the additional training services and training advice which we greatly appreciated! Some of the other reviews talk about the pricing being an issue but I'm here to tell you that their pricing is extremely competitive for the services provided. The pricing on the website is dated and not accurate but when I called to book our boarding, the owner was transparent about the actual pricing before even completing our booking. I will definitely use Paws 4 Thought in the future. They are WONDERFUL!
We have always had a great experience here with our pups! Kyle is a fantastic handler and does a great job at helping my dogs feel comfortable, loved and making sure they're well cared for even when they're traveling for shows. He does an amazing job grooming them and prepping them for the shows. He also keeps me posted daily with how they did. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly!
Pros: Haircut and bathing of my pooch was awesome, they trimmed her excellently and even did a new sort of style around her face that I liked very much. Good quality. But... Cons: Customer service needs some improvement, the lobby was closed when I went in to pick up my dog, but I was also informed that I would be called about my dog but it had already been 2+ hours so I had to guess when to go pick up my dog. I was also annoyed with pricing, their front desk sign says a flat rate of $30, but price may vary depending on the dogs fur. When I paid I ended up paying an extra $20. So there’s some hidden up charges, and there isn’t really any accurate pricing up front. Unsure if I’ll be back.
Super friendly and helpful staff genuinely care for the dogs entrusted to them. Boarding, training, and grooming services are available. They also will handle your dogs for you in the conformation ring at dog shows.
We called them with short notice and they were so helpful with the questions we had! They were able to help us in our situation! We took our dogs there and they LOVED IT! The kennels are big, and clean! We will Def becoming back and recommending to our friends!!!
I brought my 9 month old puppy Brodie to get groomed today and I was super nervous cause it was his first full groom and I’ve heard horror stories with grooms. And I’m nervous leaving him with people but Aubrie was great with Brodie and did a fabulous job with his groom. He turned out perfect. He is such a handsome boy!!! Thanks so much.
We have been bringing our dogs to Ruffledale's for boarding or daycare for several years off and on. The employees and facility is wonderful. They are always kind, willing to answer questions, and loving towards our dogs. The facility is clean, and always well maintained. Having used other daycares that are quick to place blame on the owners, Ruffledale's is the exact opposite. They are ALWAYS trying to make things right. We have been told several times--"we are doing this free of charge" when they definitely could have charged us (our dogs are not the easiest). They are not out to nickel and dime the customer like other local dog facilities. That means something. That is why we keep going back. Highly recommend.
I'm a little late to post this but my pup had a stay with Ruffle Dale in April. My husband and I were visiting from out of town and on a road trip and I was nervous about boarding my dog somewhere new. I got great reviews from a friend who brings their dog here so we booked a stay for our pup. The staff was amazing and their communication is top notch. I booked a groom for my pup and Ruth did an amazing job. I could tell my pup had a great stay. The staff sent her home with a report card and treats for the road. I would absolutely board my pup here again if I find myself in the area. Thank you to all the staff for taking such amazing care of Ello <3
Ruffledale did amazing with taking care of our dog for a week while we were on vacation!! They sent us update pictures and texts every single day as to how she was doing and looked! Our dog has separation anxiety and we didn't know how well she would do but she did great and fit right in.
We have taken our dogs here for daycare, boarding, and grooming many times. They always come home tired and happy from so much play time. You can tell that the employees love the dogs and enjoy playing and cuddling with them. I always trust that our pups are being well cared for and the team there is so communicative and professional.
My dogs love going to daycare and boarding here. They get so excited and it is a great home away from home. I never worry about them when I leave them here. The staff is super friendly and love on my dogs like their own. I also use their grooming services and am never disappointed. My dogs come home tired and happy and we won’t go anywhere else. I have tried other daycares in the area and have not liked the play areas or have not like the way they manage the dogs. I trust Ruffledale to provide quality care.
Hugo loves his daycare! We recently moved to Layton, and switched to Ruffledale for my dog’s daycare. Hugo comes home so exhausted and worn out from playing that he sleeps for a couple of days. I call it his doggy hangover. The staff know him by name and are always so welcoming. Going to try the grooming side next!
If you're getting your dog groomed, ask for Aubrie. She has always groomed my dog and does an excellent job, treats the animals well, and works with me if she problems are found
Ruffledale and the ladies that work there are amazing! We were three days into a 12 day trip and got a call that Ollie was limping, they wanted to let us know. The next day we got another call that he seems to be getting worse. They sent us a video so we could see how bad he was limping 🙁 They let us know that they could take him to the vet for us. They called the vet and scheduled an appointment and took him to the vet in our absence! They called us after the vet to let us know how it went; torn ACL. This is what you should expect when you leave your dog while on vacation, a place that treats your dog as if he was their own! Thanks so much for taking care of Ollie ❤️🐶
I wanted to love this place so badly. It's close to my home and seemed convenient. In March, I took my 3-month-old Boxer puppy here and was super nervous. I asked them if they normally had puppies in the doggy daycare and if he would be okay, they reassured me that everything would be fine. I called an hour after dropping him off to check on him, and they let me know that everything was great. I picked him up 4 hours after dropping him off and when I walked him to the car, I noticed that he was disoriented and not acting like himself. I immediately took him to the emergency vet down the street to discover that he had a concussion. I called Ruffledale the next day to ask if he hit his head on anything or fell, they had no idea and didn't even offer up an apology; this was upsetting, but I chalked it up to be a one-off situation and that my clumsy pup must have hit his head on something while he was playing there. 2 months later, I decided to give them another try. I told the girl that was checking me in that I was super hesitant to drop him off since he got hurt last time he was there, she told me everything would be fine and they would keep a "super close eye on him". I picked him up 2 hours later and while I was in the lobby behind a gate picking him up, a small dog gets my dog on his back and bites him in the face and on the neck. The workers were in no hurry to pull the dog off of my dog and acted like it was a pretty normal occurrence; back to the emergency vet, we went. Where they tell me that dogs come into the emergency vet from Ruffledale “all the time”. Go figure. Here I was the second time from the same place. I honestly never even write negative reviews... but I would have liked to see how they really treat animals when I was choosing a place to take my pup. This place is the worst.
