Our pup goes every week for a couple of days and has boarded before. She's always excited to go and well looked after when there, and she comes home tired from playing all day which is a bonus! Staff are all lovely

Owners don't have any decency to get back in touch. Text messages, completely ignored, phone calls, no answer, rung several times. I and my daughter rung. It's not a good way to conduct a business.

Highly recommend Gary and the team! Beau loves attending daycare and is exhausted after his day of carrying on with the gang. I love the daily photos to see how he's doing and who his buddies are that day. I know Beau is well looked after and happy while I'm at work.

My wee beagle went here from when he was 6 months until almost 2,5 around 3 times a week. Gary is amazing with the dogs and it has heen great to see him grow and add more staff to the team. My wee dog absolutely loved coming here and never wanted to go home!! We could not have managed without this doggy daycare

We bring our labrador pup once or twice a week and he absolutely loves it, he nearly jumps out of the car with excitement when we get there and he conks out from all the fun he had as soon as we pick him up. Gary and his team are fantastic. Would highly recommend, even if it's just to get your dog socialised with other dogs.

Very grateful we found K9ndergarten as it's been a lifesaver in helping us balance having to be at work and the care of our pup. Gary is incredibly knowledgeable about dogs, obviously loves them and has been unbelievably patient and kind with our crazy ten month old. Our dog loves going in every day and his behaviour has massively improved due to Gary's efforts. Couldn't recommend K9ndergarten enough.

Marley loves visiting K9ndergarten, great location in Belfast. I know she's well looked after by Gary and his team. Brilliant for Marley's confidence and she gets to train, make new friends and gets to go on walks. Happy pup, happy hooman.

Autumn, our beautiful puppy, stayed with Karen and Phil for 11 days when we were on holiday. Autumn was well looked after and loved spending time there. We were delighted to find Karen, a pets home from home! Our cocker spaniel is typically anxious and very attached but following his first meeting with Karen he didn’t look back when we dropped him off for a sleepover! I have been using we love pets since I got my dog around 3 months now. It's an amazing service that allows us to feel comfortable and safe being away and knowing our dog is happy and safe. Karen was extremely professional and always made sure to put our needs first. We have a very excitable young Collie who loved the care and attention provided by Karen and the team. Lots of play and walks with plenty of photo updates for us while we were on holiday. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Karen looked after my 2 rescues for a week while we went on holiday. Both my dogs are far from easy to manage with behaviour issues and we had been on the look out to find a trusted sitter that could manage them. Despite concerns (as it was the first time anyone other than family had ever looked after them), Karen made us feel so at ease and showed us that she clearly has alot of experience with all types of dogs. She lived in our home for a week and looked after our pups, sending us daily updates of pictures and videos of what they’d been up to. Our dogs absolutely loved her! They were crying at the window when she left… so safe to say she treated them like her own. We’re so grateful we now have Karen as a trusted pet sitter and can take holidays in the future knowing they are in safe hands. Thank you Karen ❤️

This place feels more like a resort than a kennel—our two dogs absolutely love it here! Both of our dogs are fed a raw diet, and one of them requires a special raw food with kibble, avoiding chicken and other ingredients. The staff accommodates this with no trouble at all, which is such a relief. They also send regular updates, which is fantastic—it’s so reassuring to see how much fun our dogs are having while we’re away. We really couldn’t thank the girls enough for looking after our weenies.

The absolute best kennel about, Ashley and Heather are amazing and make me wee dog feel so at home. I wouldn't send him anywhere else! He is so well looked after and comes home in great form - I never worry about him when I am away and get great updates about his stay. I was quite apprehensive about leaving Daisy in overnight boarding but within 5 minutes of meeting the ladies at GDA I needn't have worried! It's so clear they are passionate about what they do and Daisy absolutely loves being there. She recently had a six night stay and didn't even look back when we dropped her off! We returned home to a very content and tired dog after six days of fun with her pals at the resort. We had complete peace of mind while we were away and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Good Dog Academy - thank you !

Can’t recommend Good Dog Academy NI enough. Bruno has been going to daycare twice a week for a year now, he absolutely loves it and comes back shattered every time. We’ve also left Bruno on multiple boarding trips, one was even 10 days long. They sent over regular updates to keep our minds at ease. Ashley and Heather are also two of the nicest people I’ve ever met, they both have all the time in the world for you and your dog and are also so helpful when needing advice for your dog.

I left my fur baby here with her cousin and they shared a kennel. While we were on holiday we got updates regarding them with photographs of them enjoying themselves. It is so handy to where I live so I will be using them from now on. It was my dogs birthday while I was away and the photos show they celebrated her birthday with her. I am so happy I have found somewhere to leave her now. The girls were so amazing with them.

I can't recommend the good dog academy ni enough Heather & Ashley are both amazing girls .... from the minute coco & Bella arrived over xmas they were fussed over & made to feel at ease ... when I go up here to leave my dogs i feel these girls just don't do it as a job I feel like it's their passion they are animal lovers.... the place is like a 5 star furbaba resort ... my 2 even came home with a doggy bag from santapaws .... they both loved it.... They slept for hours when they got home they were so tired from playing .... I will definitely be booking them both back in for another fantastic few days in may .... I wouldn't go anywhere else as the girls constantly updated us too with photos & how they were getting on which means everything to me to see my dogs have so much fun & interaction this is why I will pick here every time ..... thank you good dog academy ni 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We took our first holiday in a long time this year and it was also the first time we needed to board our dog. As a member of our family, it was important to us that we find people who understood that we wanted him to socialise and have fun! Everyone at Good Dog Academy was excellent from start to finish. They kept us up to date with great pictures and made the whole process stress free. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend them to anyone. When we picked him up he was happy and curious and I've never been so pleased to pay for a service. Absolutely first class.

Left our two dogs in Good Dog Academy and couldn't have felt more at ease that they were in great hands. From the personalised updates and plenty of photos showing the dogs being played with and having a great time. The girls are just fab and couldn't be more accommodating. Great place!! 🐾🐾 …

We entrusted our deaf border collie, Tadhg, who has several health issues, to Ashley and Heather at The Good Dog Academy NI for three nights. Despite our initial apprehension, their professionalism and expertise shone through from the moment they met Tadhg. Throughout his stay, they provided regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind. Tadhg returned home calm and happy, demonstrating the care and attention he received. Heather's understanding of border collies, having her own, further assured us of his comfort. This was Tadhg's first time away from us, and we're grateful it was a successful experience, thanks to Ashley and Heather's exceptional care and dedication.

We booked our dog in just for one night and did the same thing another reviewer did and popped up to see if we could have a look around (again we didn't know you need an appointment) the very rude lady who greeted us Eileen, said we couldn't, witch was fine we understood when she said we needed to book ahead, the issue was her extremely rude attitude. I thought maybe we had just got her on a bad day, but we didn't as we have found out! On the day we took him for his stay she was even more rude, very hostile attitude and just plain ignorant, I can honestly say I have never been spoken to so rudely as a customer. Only that we had no one else to have our dog and we had a wedding to go to, we both wanted to turn on our heels and take him home with us. When we went to pick him up she was again extremely rude, barely able to utter the words hello! This time we didn't speak to her and paid and got out of there as quickly as possible. Her whole attitude is dreadful. We will NEVER take our dog here again as her disgusting, rude, ill mannered attitude is not for us!

Staff very ignorant and uncaring, my dogs were traumatised, and afraid for days after coming out off it.. I've used it twice but never again.

Our first time leaving our cats at Breeny boarding (or anywhere) and I can't complain. Left for 2 weeks in a shared pod and both cats seemed absolutely fine and were glad to see us on collection. A quick chat with the owners/payment and we were on our way. Will use again 👍 Already thinking of the next holiday....... 🤔

Booked a last minute holiday and was lucky enough to get a space at Breeny. Well organised, had the food we usually give our pup and were easy to deal with. Sophie came back happy, healthy, clean and she'd obviously been brushed as her coat was in great condition. Would have no issues recommending, and would definitely use again.

Just collected my dog after 8 nights at the Kennels. Was great to see him and he looks well cared for. He has never been away from the family before and while he was a little nervous he was OK. Plenty of walks and interaction with other dogs really did the trick. Even managed to lose a little weight as he got more walks than we could do. Booking was easy and handy to make payments in advance of going so no surprise coming home. Addional walks and Sunday dinner available. We supplied our own food as he's a fussy eater however food can be included. Any staff interaction we had was fine. We will use Breeny again with no hesitation.

Maybe this place is good for dogs or confident cats, but I will not be returning with my two cats. I feel so guilty that I never viewed this place or asked more questions before leaving my poor cats here but I was in a rush to get them in somewhere so am writing this review in the hope that I can help others. I had booked my two cats in for 5 days, and had warned them that my boy cat is very nervous and shy. Three days into my trip I rang up to ask how they were doing, in which the woman on the phone said “I don’t know I’ll have to go check” so she went down to the cattery, was away for a few minutes before replying “they’re fine” with no more info. This place needs to realise that to a lot of people their pets are their children and not make them feel stupid for calling to ask how they are. I can’t get the image of what I saw when we went to pick them up out of my head. The “chalet” is a dark dingy cupboard with two shelves. No toys, not even the ones I packed in their carriers with them. There is a cat flap to an outdoor area, but also a window that was wide open, meaning it was freezing. This was the middle of February and my cats are not used to being outside. Their two litter trays were a third of the size they have at home, as both my cats are quite large. But what really upset me was my poor boy cat, who had buried himself under the cushion in the plastic bed they provide. I lifted the cushion to see him, his eyes were wide and he was shaking with fear. I lifted him and he was freezing and his heart was beating so fast. I have never seen him this frightened before it was truly heartbreaking. I wish they even could’ve provided him with a covered igloo bed for him to properly hide away in. I have left my cats with friends and family before and they are usually scared and hiding for the first few hours but soon come into their own when they realise the place is safe. It breaks my heart to think he was this scared for a full 5 days with no one to comfort him. I hoped that they would stroke them/ play with them as my cats are very social and love human interaction but from what I saw I don’t know where they would be able to do this - as a person can barely stand in their cupboard and the hallway lined with closed doors leading to their “chalets” is so thin you have to walk down single file, so there is no room for them to be played with. There were other cats yowling and meowing, probably scared out of their minds and stressed my cats out even more. My poor boy who usually hates his carrier went in limp and willingly. When I brought them both home they fought over their water bowl and drank for 15 minutes straight- they usually don’t drink much at all as they get wet food which leads me to believe they weren’t being fed enough either. Yes this cattery is cheap but please if you can afford better do not put your cats through this - they deserve to be cuddled and played with and you should be updated with a text or photo at least once while you’re away to prove that they are safe and happy.

We were nervous first dropping our dog for daycare trial (as she’s a rescue and had spent considerable time in kennels) - we needn’t have worried. She loved it. I think she was bit put out she didn’t go back the next day! The staff were great and seemed very fond of her. Knowing our dog is happy and well cared for has put us at ease. I think we miss her more than she misses us! We also get a nice sleepy and content dog at the end of the day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I needed to arrange kennels at fairly short notice due to a family member being unable to take my chihuahua whilst I went on holiday. This was his first proper stay at kennels and i was very nervous. Cooper is a very typical small chihuahua who can be difficult to manage and so I was worried sick about leaving him. I called whilst i was away and was reassured he was being looked after and was safe. The owner was very honest and explained he wasnt happy but he was eating and being taken care off so I relaxed a little and didnt call again. When I went to pick him up they said they worked hard with him and a few of the staff spent a lot of one in one with him. I didn't expect to see Cooper coming out in the arms of one of the girls and he looked disappointed at leaving her. He doesnt allow people to pick him up and i can count in 1 hand the humans that he actually likes, I think i might need 2 hands now! He has dropped a little weight which I expected. He was walked regularly and seems a lot calmer being home. 11days with Breeny seems to have done him the world of good and whilst I will never leave him again for that long, I would definitely use them again. He was clean, his bedding was clean and I even think he had his nails cut. Something I struggle massively with and a groomer is out of the question. Overall delighted and would recommend.

First time leaving our wee dog off in a kennel, obviously we were concerned about this. Informed the staff that we were flying home and planning on coming to pick our dog up straight from the airport, so we might be slightly late but we were definitely coming, they told us this was fine and to not worry. When we arrived we encountered some delays at the airport as my grandmother required assistance. When we arrived at the kennel half an hour after the last pick up time, the woman who served us was incredibly rude. Kept rolling her eyes and told me in no uncertain terms that I was late and I shouldn't be there. I explained I was sorry and that we got held up but we had explained when putting our dog in that we might be late and informed it was okay. She charged us for an extra quarter of a day because of this, obviously not a problem, we were late, but the service was particularly poor. Made me feel really awful and awkward despite me profusely apologising. I understand I was late, but the staff were told about this and we were assured it was okay. Would really make me worry about how the staff treats the animals if they treat the paying customers this poorly when they make an error. Definitely will not be back after such poor treatment, much better kennels out there with much better understanding and kind hearted staff.

I had never boarded my dog in kennels before so I had booked him in for few days while I went abroad. I called up on the Saturday to see if I could have a look round, not knowing this had to be done by appointment and was met by a very rude older woman who raced me round as quick as possible and behaved as if I was really putting her out. No way to run a business in my opinion. I asked my daughter to ring while I was away to check on my boy and off course said woman answered the phone and when my daughter asked how my boy was she was abruptly told “he’s fine” nothing at all to put my mind at ease and no other information about my boy at all. I will not be using these kennels again! Said woman really needs an attitude adjustment! 🤨

Toby is a rescue who had a hard start to life. Finally I felt it was time to get him some time in daycare to socialise with other dogs for a few hours a week. He has loved it. The staff are so attentive to his needs and his ck fence has been slowly growing - i would highly recommend! 😊 …

I leave in my Miniature Dachshund once every other week, since going her confidence has grown. She’s always knackered at the end of each day care, which is great! Lots of stimulation for her! The staff are so friendly, and Edith loves to see them, jumps out of my arms to say hello in the morning.

I began sending my rescue dog Morris to Dog Days for daycare when I had to travel to the office. Morris has become a new dog, he has grown in confidence so much, which I attribute to his weekly visits to Dog Days and the chance for him to socialise with other pups. The staff are so friendly and accomodating and even send us loads of pictures after the day. I feel so much better when I'm out, knowing Morris is safe and being looked after.

We couldn’t recommend Dog Days highly enough - our Golden started going when he was only 5 months old and he just absolutely loves it. He can’t get out of the car quick enough when we pull up! Paul and the rest of the team are absolutely lovely and fantastic with our pup; he’s still young but they make sure he gets his rest in between playing and we love seeing all the videos of him enjoying his day with his chums. It’s really helped to socialise him and when we get home, he gets straight into his bed and snores his head off for the rest of the evening 😅 The opening hours are great for when you need to be in work early too, so delighted to find this place 😊

Lovely place and lovely staff. They have really worked hard at getting lochlainn settled and he loves going here. Honestly couldn’t recommend them enough and the photos in the members page make me smile so much seeing all the fun he’s having

I cannot recommend Dog Days enough for the care of your beloved pup. Our Raven always loves to arrive at daycare, has wonderful social skills around other dogs and always comes home pooped. The team behind Dog Days are also friendly, flexible and clearly care for the dogs with them. 5/5 without a doubt!

They have not only provided a safe environment to keep him occupied for the day but on top of that he has grown in confidence and he now loves all dogs & people as a result. Riley has been going to Doggy Days Belfast for approximately 10 months and he loves it. He suffers from separation anxiety, however he goes with his tail up & wagging, he gets very excited when we pull up outside the Doggy Day Centre . We get photos on Instagram & FB. Riley comes home tired and ready to chill for the rest of the evening. Riley has become much more sociable with other breads of dogs, through this service. The staff are professional, friendly and are committed to dogs being stimulated through play. Their passion for dogs is easily seen when you drop off & pick up your fur baby , The staff are always courteous & have time for chat about your dogs activities that day. I can’t recommend them enough.

We have been bringing Sidney to Dog Days Belfast for almost one year and we thoroughly recommend it. All the staff are fantastic and take great care with of all the dogs. Sidney goes about twice a week and the staff are excellent at posting photos/videos throughout the day. It is reassuring to know that Sidney is well cared for and he has so much fun with all the dogs. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

We were immediately put at ease with the pupdates with Paul and Co at Dog Days. The pictures and reassurance were very much appreciated on our wee lab pup Olivias first day at daycare. She had a blast with all her new friends (loads of photo uploads on the Facebook group which was fantastic) and she slept all evening. I'm sure she can't wait to go back! 100% recommend.

I left my two Cavaliers with Johnny, whilst I went off on holiday. Johnny sent me photos and short videos of them every day. My girls Bella and Honey had a great time, I could see that their tails were high and wagging non stop. They were well exercised and Honey was given her meds every day. I would highly recommend Johnny's Doggy Hotel to anyone looking for a special place for their pet. Johnny is a genuinely nice, good guy. Your dog will be in good hands. We left our 16 year old collie/springer, Roxy, with Johnny for almost 3 weeks, we didn’t want to put her in kennels due to age and wanted that home from home care that she needs. Johnny was great with her from the day we met and during her stay, we received regular updates whilst away photos and short videos which was very reassuring. Roxy even jumped up and sat beside him whilst we there collecting her which was nice to see. It was comforting for us that she was well looked after in someone’s home especially as we were away for a lengthy period. Would recommend Johnny and we are booked in again for January as we know Roxy will be comfortable and well looked after with him.

Toby had an amazing 2 nights with Johnny. It was so reassuring to know we were leaving Toby with someone who was so kind and caring and would take great care of him while we were away. Shiba Inus may be adorable on Instagram but can be quite particular with strangers. Jonny’s place exceeded our expectations—not only was it spotlessly clean and smelled great, but Jonny was also incredibly flexible and welcoming. His “patience” with our Shiba was truly impressive. He went above and beyond to make sure our pup was comfortable. If your dog tends to be anxious around strangers or in new environments, make sure to talk to Jonny. We can’t thank him enough for everything!

This was my first time to leave Rupert with anyone else and to say I was a bit anxious may be an understatement. Before the 2 night stay,Johnnie met us for a walk in the park so that he wouldnt be a complete stranger to Rupert when he went to stay for the first time. He put me completely at ease and Rupert was very settled and content in his company. Johnny sent me updates and videos of Rupert all weekend just to reassure me he was safe and happy. I went to pick him up and he was having so much fun with the other dogs, he didn't actually want to come home. Needless to say, I am more than happy to leave Rupert with Johnny again and have already booked his next little holiday😀😀

Johnny is the only person I'll trust with my dog for long stays! My collie Moss has hip displasia and some behaviour issues and I can honestly say that Johnny works wonders with him. When I tell Moss that he's going to uncle Johnnys he gets so excited which shows how much he loves his stay! I get regular video and picture updates throughout the stay keeping my mind at ease, but I know I've nothing to worry about anyway! Thank you Johnny!

Johnny is firstly incredibly nice and kind in his interactions over text, nothing is too much trouble and he goes out of his way to make sure you can pick up and drop off at your convenience. My dog is a nightmare with people and other dogs and as soon as he met Johnny he was the most well behaved canine I’ve ever seen. Johnny takes the doggos into his home and showers them with love, I get really nervous when I have to leave mine off anywhere but with Johnny I don’t even think about it I know he’s in the best possible hands. I’m so excited to use Johnny’s Dog Hotel again, if you need to leave your dog off please please please support this man because there genuinely is no one better in Ireland.

I can't recommend Johnny enough, our Dutchess has fallen in live with him and we never worried one bit while we are away. Johnny was very professional when I contacted him. As our girl is a banned breed we worried about putting her into kennels. Johnny made sure that he give her his time alone. When we got home she was gleaming, happy, content and think she would have stayed there happily. As we are planning more trips in the future or was important that we found someone who will continue to look adter her and we can honestly say we found him. We got photos, videos and calls when he needed to ask us anything about our girl. We are that happy we want them to continue to bond once a month so when she has to go there for a week or 2 she will think it's normal. Both my daughter and I would have no problems recommending Johnny to frind, family and anyone who asks. If we could give him 100 stars we would. Julie & Sara

Johnny was very resuring Chase would be fine and understanding of his needs. Chase came back the next day he was so happy and relaxed. Johnny also sent photos and videos of Chase as well. I have booked Chase in for another overnight and a week in September without any doubts. Johnny thank you so much, I think Chase can't wait to go back next week 😂😂

I have just had the experience of Rachael pet sitting my cat, Honey and it was a roaring success. Honey is a little timid but she appears to have taken to Rachael from the outset. It's such a relief to find someone who I trust to look after my cat. Rachael is so reliable and provides regular updates and pictures. My cat is usually quite shy but was all over her from the first meeting. Would 100% recommend Rachael to keep your pet settled and secure in their own environment/home while you are away from them.

I’d 100% recommend Home Comforts! Rachael was amazing with our cats when we went on holiday for a week. She was especially patient with our older cat, who tends to hide from strangers and often won’t eat when we go away. After some coaxing, she managed to win him around! I also really appreciated the daily updates and photos/videos. It’s great to know and see that they are being well cared for.

For the first time since I had my cat, I had to find a pet sitting service while I was away and was not disappointed by my choice. While my cat is very shy, Rachael has shown a lot of patience and attention to detail while looking after her and was always careful to provide updates and photos.
