Kelly was a wonderful pet sitter and house sitter! Our dog Cooper adored her. She sent us pictures several times a day and he was always snuggling with her. She kept in touch with us regularly. We have never left our baby before and we were anxious about it but we ended up feeling totally comfortable with Cooper in Kelly’s care. She also kept our potted plants alive during a heat wave and took great care of the house. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Early in 2023 I went searching for a sitter to sit with our Lizzie for a month. I found Lori during my search and I am so happy I did. Lori’s reviews are all five star and I can fully attest as to why. Lori was so friendly and kind and I could tell from the moment she met Lizzie that she would take great care of her. I received daily pictures of her and Lizzie snuggling and I couldn’t have been happier knowing my girl was receiving a lot of love. Lori left our home in wonderful shape (probably better than I left it for her). She took great care and was very conscientious of all my plants. We even came home after a very long day of travel to some wonderful chicken soup. Lori will take wonderful care of your home and your precious pet. Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!! Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies. Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.

Laura is hands down the best sitter that we have ever had care for our pets and house! Having her stay made our trip away so care free and added a super fun layer of getting her daily (morning and night!) updates with photos and videos, some were hilarious I love Laura’s sense of humor! We were gone 8 days and when’s we arrived home our house was cleaner than when we left, mail on the counter, yard was picked up, it was beyond what we would expect. This made our first day back so easy. Oh’ and our pets were so relaxed and happy we knew they were loved and taken care of while we were away. Laura knew that we were coming home late and she even had bought a yummy quiche, rolls, fruit and juice so that we had breakfast in the morning! Laura is responsive, a great communicator, I could go on but simply put she is welcome at our house anytime. Simply the best!! Thank you tons Laura!!

I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! We no longer live in the area and we still bring our dog to board here whenever we are away. Our puppy was incredibly nervous around people when we first got her. Instead of turning her away the staff took the time to sit with her and give her time to warm up. Now she loves it there and is comfortable with the staff. The hours are amazing and the price is the best around. It is family owned and they really get to know you and your pet. They always answer the phone or call you right back. Highly recommend!
They are wonderful! My dog loves going and always comes home exhausted from playing with his friends. They love them and take great care of them! Each room feels like home with couches, beds, TV's.

My daughter has a covid dog. Meaning he is not socialized. We were hesitant to take him, but we needed to board him. When we bought him in the knowledge & comfort of everyone working there, it made us feel at it ease. They helped calm our dog down & were able to take him with no problems. I recently used Stay & Play Pet resort to take care of my 10 months old kitten Ralphie when I was going out of town on vacation. I am so happy I chose this "resort" for my furbaby. The entire staff is very caring and took great care of my kitten. He got his own room and the staff visited him throughout the day to ensure he was well cared for and for some attention. I called daily to check on him and everyone was very kind and gave updates on how Ralphie's day was going. I am definitely going to reserve a stay for all of my vacations because it gave me such peace of mind knowing my lil furbaby was happy and in good hands. It was the best situation for my two dogs and my two cats while we were away on vacation. The staff at best friends treated my fur babies like family! It’s always hard to leave your pets behind when you go away, but knowing that they are safe and in good hands makes all the difference. It allowed us to enjoy our vacation and know that our fur babies were well cared for! I cannot thank the staff there enough. Christine was exceptionally helpful and put our minds at rest!
We booked a few night boarding stay for our German Shepard here after we moved and needed a closer spot. Our pup was well cared for and came home happy. We also had him groomed before coming home and it was one of the best grooms he's ever gotten!
After shopping for a good hotel for my dog I finally found one that she enjoys. She was pampered and loved by the staff. When I picked her up she was happy to see me and appeared that she enjoyed her stay. The staff and groomer were very professional the called me to let me know she was ready and had her bath and nails trimmed. Facility is very clean and temperature was great. No smell odor free. 🐩👍
I had just rescued 2 small dogs with PTSD, but had a trip planned a year in advance. Avery at Best Friends invited us to come visit and see if a stay would be possible. Avery was amazing at communicating and understanding our situation. The staff were very gentle and loving with our dogs, including carrying the more scared dog to our car. I am confident they were well cared for and am relieved we have a safe place for our dogs when they need boarding.
Absolutely wonderful service! I’ve been taking my Corgi here for the last year and a half, and if he was able to speak I know he would say that he had the most amazing time every time he’s been there! The staff is lovely, the facility smells nice and is clean! 100% would recommend taking my dog here!
My baby has been going here for 4 years. He loves the play group as well as boarding. He has stayed there sometimes just for the day, sometimes a weekend and sometimes for longer stays. They are great and make each fur baby feel like they are the most special.
I LOVE this place! I have an English Bulldog, and in my experience, the usual franchise grooming places do not want to spend the time grooming him because they’re so afraid of what might could happen because of his breed. Best Friends is AWESOME. I explained my concerns to them, and they reassured me that they have the experience with English Bulldogs, and that he would not be a problem for them. He has used their grooming services and has even been boarded for about a week. They are very timely, communicative, offer so many things to your pup, and are so very nice. They are the only grooming place I use now. They do such a remarkable job!
Best Friends Pet Hotel was very nice for my 2 dogs while we were away on vacation. Since we had older dogs (rescues) who had never been socialized when young, they were kind enough to place our dogs in a part of the facility which was more quiet and would take both dogs outside without other dogs around as they don't get along with other dogs. The place was very clean, and the people who work there are very kind and considerate. I would definitely recommend them for day care, camp, or staying.
I feel the need to leave a review of my sad experience. This was the second time I had left Teddy at a pet hotel and this experience was not good. There was one lady that complained about Teddy misbehaving while under the dryer and heard my dog barking in distress. After asking to see my dog and bringing him home he was very withdrawn from us. He also did not look well physically and would not stop licking his back paw. I am glad Christine the manager called me back to let me know they would pay for him to get checked at a vet, and that is exactly what she did for us. Teddy is on an antibiotic for his paw and feeling better now that he is home with his family.
Left my puppy there and was so nervous about him being there with no family to cuddle, but when I came to pick him up Gosha kept running from me to the groomer smiling and wiggling his tail. He obviously felt safe and loved. Thank you guys!! ❤️❤️❤️

After adopting a second puppy this summer, we had to find a new solution for pet sitting. While our puppy is very sweet she is also incredibly nervous and shy. She took a few months to warm up to us so we were very nervous about a pet sitting plan for vacations. Fortunately, we lucked out meeting Emma and Sandy with Jurassic Bark. They quickly fell in love with our two dogs and put us as ease knowing our dogs were in great hands. They provide wonderful photo updates and were easy to communicate with if needed. They’re attentive and willing to help with anxious-dog parent details. We were even pleased to see our nervous pup warm up to these dog lovers and enjoy snuggling on the couch together. It’s safe to say our dogs had a lovely vacation away from us! We can’t thank Jurassic Bark enough and will recommend to anyone looking for pet sitting needs!
Last week our sweet Lily had a pup-cation at Jurassic bark while we were away. She came home exhausted but happy and showed no signs of separation anxiety. This is due to the care she received from Emma and her staff. Jurassic Bark is the best place for Lily to have stayed while her humans were away. They loved her and treated her as if she were their own. We received daily update with pictures of Lily making new friends and playing. She had a great experience!

Jurassic Bark has cared for our cat, dog and rats for years. Emma is amazing with all of the animals. Recently, I had made arrangements for a family member to take one of my dogs. With only 3 weeks before my vacation, the plans fell through. Emma was able to help us on short notice and our vacation was saved. And best of all, I know my fur babies will be safe and happy with the staff at the resort! Adding to this since we have returned from vacation. I had pictures and updates in my email every day. I think my dogs truly had a better vacation than I did! Even my shy girl was snuggling with the staff and pawing for attention.
