Ana is an ideal pet (and home) sitter, and I emphatically recommend her! Ana watched my two dogs and my home for an entire month while I was out of the country. She was the perfect sitter for the extended sit. She is friendly, communicative, calm, conscientious, dedicated, and resourceful, and an extremely experienced pet sitter. My dogs absolutely loved her, and she loved and cared for them like they were her very own (they even had custom toppers on their food). Ana would take each dog on their own separate hike nearly every day, which they absolutely loved – and which I really appreciated, since one of my dogs is reactive and so walking them together can be a challenge if there are lots of other dogs around. Ana sent me pictures and email updates every few days, as well as texts if anything needed my immediate response. She looked after my house very conscientiously, and if she noticed something was off, she let me know right away so that I could address it. My dogs are quirky, and she handled that in stride, and also followed the detailed instructions I left for how to manage them. Both my home and my car were clean and tidy when I returned home. Both my dogs and I look forward to another sit with Ana (they were sad for a few days after she left). If she applies to your listing – be sure to grab her!

Kate and Kelley were the perfect sitters. They looked after Barley very lovingly and he seemed very happy when we got home. Jennifer was a joy to work with! She stayed with my two 80 pound shepherd puppies and gave them lots of walks, playtime, and ear scratches. She learned their schedule and helped keep it while we traveled. The communication and coordination between us was never an issue. Jennifer sent lots of pictures with the puppies showing them on walks and playtime. After a full day of travel, I wasn’t looking forward to sweeping up the piles of puppy hair I was expecting when I returned. When I looked around, hardly a hair was in sight! Nicole was a great housesitter and pet care provider. The house looked cleaner when we came back from our trip then before we left. They washed their own sheets and even folded and put away towels. I couldn’t believe it. They were great with our two doggies as well. They kept us updated with them and sent some pictures too.

Jacob sat for us during our holiday in March. We do not have any pets but we do have garden plants etc to look after. Jacob did a fantastic job of looking after the young plants that had arrived by post the day before we went away. He sent us regular updates and photos of how the plants were doing. We came home to a very clean and tidy house and thriving plants. Jacob did a great job and we have no hesitation in recommending him. Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. He exercised Tosha in the neighborhood and local parks, and obviously enjoyed her company. Our house was spotless and extremely neat when we got home, which is always welcoming after a long trip. Amazing experience! Five stars all the way... Nikki was kind enough to watch our two cats Thomas and Toby while were away on our honeymoon. From the very beginning she made us feel comfortable with clear communication and quick replies. Since she was local in Atlanta we got to meet her ahead of time and hand off keys before we left. While we were away she sent pictures of our little buds having fun and being themselves, so we always knew they were ok. She always showed up exactly when she said she would from pickup to dropoff and it was so incredible to know they were in good hands, and we never had to worry. They love being around people so for her to have been able to stay with them and love on them regularly we came home and could immediately tell both Thomas and Toby felt great as they were completely comfortable. Much much different than when we leave even for a few days and have a pet sitter stop by and feed them. She asked all the necessary questions in advance, so she didn't have to email or ask anything while we were away. She even took the time to make sure everything was neat and tidy, prepped the sheets to be changed, and was unbelievably sweet to get us a wedding gift we both love. Nikki we can't thank you enough for taking care of our cats, and we would only be so lucky if you stuck around town! :)
