Mature couple who will treat your pets and home with love and respect!
Patti and Craig were excellent sitters. We come home to happy cats, a clean home, and the unexpected bonus of a home cooked dinner in the fridge for us. Communication with Patti and Craig was excellent, they kept us updated on their arrival from their long drive to Calgary, and while we were away we received regular messages letting us know that all was well. We thoroughly enjoyed an evening chatting with Patti and Craig over dinner before our departure. They are a lovely couple and I strongly recommend that you choose Patti and Craig as your house / pet sitters.

Animal-loving and extremely dependable, active retired couple traveling the USA
Shannon and Robert were great. They have a sweet dog, Frisco, who came as well which was a treat for our dog, Blue. Apparently the two played all day long and were tired puppies at night and it made it easy for Shannon and Robert. The house was also immaculate. I can't say enough about their care and I would love for them to come back again, if possible. We are now thinking about asking for sitters who bring their own pets.

Adventurous, friendly, honest, anxious to help, energetic
We could not have asked for better sitters! Woodie and Cheryl attended so lovingly to our pup Akela. They took her on all kinds of hikes and activities! We loved the many photos and sweet updates they sent us. A total bonus: our house was left absolutely spotless! They even swept the front and back porch! Thank you so much, Woodie and Cheryl!

Soni and Jeff were great from the get go! Wonderful communication and care for Kendall and our home. They treated both like they were their own and we are so appreciative. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others and would absolutely welcome them back if they wanted to return to Nashville. Thank you!

Here to give your pets all the pets!
Cameron is/was fantastic! He lives near-ish and stopped by one evening before the sit to meet Mops. He showed up on time and even with a treat for Mops. He was very open to communication and responsive. During Cameron's sit, Mops ended up being on medication for a recent dental appointment he's had. Although unexpected, he was happy to give him the meds each morning and night w/ his meal. He not only took great care of our home, he took Mops on several outings, as if he was his own. Dog park, trails, soccer games, Starbucks drive thru (one of Mop's favs) for a pupcup...Mops was so loved. We came home to a clean house, sheets freshly laundered and a healthy, happy and satisfied dog. We 5-Star recommend Cameron and would/will welcome him back to our home anytime.

Happy, energetic, non-smoking retired couple who love to travel and love pets.
Alan and Glenda were an absolute delight. We met up the evening before the sit and left the morning after, so we had some nice time to visit, chat and learn about their travels. Chasqui (our dog) had clearly made a bond with them as she was begging them to throw the ball when we got back from our mini-vacation. She smiled at them and cuddled up to them...not something that would happen if she had been ignored or treated badly in any way. The house was scrubbed down and neat upon our return. Everything was in perfect order. We couldn't have asked for a better sit. Except for walks in the neighborhood to lunch spots, they stuck to home, enjoying the garden and Chasqui's company. In a nutshell, Alan and Glenda are calm, polite, kind, mature and conscientious sitters and we would not hesitate to have them back.
Leslie consistently demonstrated outstanding communication skills, both initially and throughout the entire process, and I would gladly give her more stars if possible. Leslie arrived as scheduled, and instantly the animals fell in love with her and Bennie. Our cats love our dogs but usually won't come in the house when a strange dog is here but they didnt even hesitate to come meet Bennie. Bennie was very calm and a true gentleman. Leslie sent pictures throughout the sit reassuring us the gang were all getting along and enjoying her and Bennie's company. She read through the welcome guide before we left as well as we showed her around. It was very nice getting the chance to know her a bit before we ledt the following morning. We felt very comfortable knowing our home and pets were in good hands. It is very apparent when you meet Leslie that she truly does love animals. When our Molly decided to hide, Leslie called us right away because she feared Molly may have gotten spooked by a firework going off in the neighborhood and escaped under the gate. I felt so bad for Leslie because she blamed herself because it was on her watch. I have trackers on all my pets and it turned out that Molly was still in the house and just hiding really well. She can curl up.pretty small. Lealie took our Lab to check the walking route and see if Molly was there. When I called and told her Molly had to be at the house because her tracker showed her there, she returned to our home and Molly hreeted her as she came in the front door. I was very appreciative of Leslie's phone call though because she didnt wait hours to call, she searched the yard and house and called right away. We decided to cut our trip short a day and asked Leslie if she minded if we came home a day early. We let her know we didnt expect her to leave early and made sure she was comfortable with our decision. As a pet parent, it is imperative that we remember the sitters are also on vacation and we didnt want to intrude on her time. As it turned out, we ended up stopping by the ER on our way home where my husband was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. Unfortunately we had both the RV and my car and I needed to figure out how to get them home. I reached out to Leslie who offerred to give me a ride back to the hospital after I dropped o e vehicle off at home so I could retrieve the second vehicle. BTW, the surgeon was able to repair my hubbys aneurysm and he will be coming home soon. Leslie was a comfort during this frightening time and even stayed an extra day to help out and care for our home and pets. She was a teue blessing. Leslie left the house spotless along with so.e fresh flowers for me when I got back from visiting my husband. If you get an opportunity to host Leslie in your home, rest assured your home and pets will be well loved and well taken care of. We.would welcome.Leslie back anytime. She is not just a pet sitter, she is a new trusted friend.
Samantha and Scott are great sitters and we enjoyed hearing from them a couple of times while we were away. Our pets were very relaxed and happy too! Very happy to recommend them.
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
Lindsay and Bryce provided excellent care to our two cats while we were gone. They are great communicators, took amazing care of our apartment and send regular updates and photos so that we knew all was going well. We would absolutely recommend them as responsible and thoughtful pet sitters who can be entrusted with the care of your home and pets.
I enjoyed meeting Samara. Sosha arrived after I left so we only communicated in writing. Samara is a sweet, considerate pet sitter. She brought her cat, who posed no difficulties to my pets. Samara was in good communication with me during her stay. She used my car without incident. My home was left much cleaner than upon her arrival. Samara proved to be an honest and responsible pet sitter and I would open my home to her at any time in the future.
Andrea was the perfect sitter for our older Italian Greyhound and our shy cat. She followed every request to a “t”, and helped us to feel comfortable and care free for a long zeewoi. The communication of photos and videos were a warm reminder of how well they had been adjusting to our absence. Andrea showed care and consistent compassion for Darcy and Hammy. She seemed to enjoy them and our home as much as us! We returned to an absolutely spotless home, without anything left undone. She thought of everything related to us and our pets, so we could have a seamless late evening return. We highly recommend Andrea for any zeewoi, as she is a jewel. Anyone looking for a “perfect” sitter would be lucky to have Andrea as a trustworthy, considerate and kind person to care for their pets and home.
Exceptional Pet Sitters - Highly Recommend Diedre and Keith! I am thrilled to leave a glowing review for our trusted house and pet sitters, Diedre and Keith. They took exceptional care of our long-haired cat, Molly, and our home during our absence. Everything went incredibly smoothly, and their communication was top-notch. Dierdre and Keith provided regular updates, including delightful pictures of Molly, which put our minds at ease while we were away. Upon our return, it was evident that Molly had been well cared for and was content. The genuine love and understanding Diedre and Keith have for both dogs and cats was apparent in their interactions with Molly, and it was clear that they had made her feel comfortable and secure in their care. Their friendly and professional demeanor made the entire experience truly enjoyable. In addition to taking great care of our beloved pet, Diedre and Keith ensured that our home was in excellent condition upon our return. They even went the extra mile by informing us about the leftovers they left in the fridge, which was a thoughtful gesture. I wholeheartedly recommend Diedre and Keith as exceptional pet and house sitters. Their attentive and caring approach, coupled with their expertise, make them a perfect choice for anyone seeking reliable and trustworthy sitters. Don't hesitate to entrust your home and pets to this fantastic duo!
Jeremy and Brooke were fantastic! We have a senior dog and a over hyper pittie. They gave Daisy her meds and had lengthy walks with Fin to burn off some of his energy. Brooke sent me regular texts to show me precious pictures of the pups by the Christmas tree, which warmed my ❤️. The house looked great when we returned. They are awesome detailed sitters and will make your pets feel loved and secure!!
Jessica was so rad. I wish she could be our go-to sitter for all our travel. Came over for an in-person orientation, took great care of house and pets and seamless communication. Thank you, Jessica!
Heath spent a long weekend at my home taking great care of both dogs and the cat. He was able to help out on rather short notice, and I felt very comfortable leaving my pets in his care. Heath is friendly and reliable and left my home neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend him as a house/pet sitter for future assignments!

Good training for the price if you are looking for a food based trainer. Will probably take more courses as they are the closest trainer but I would prefer training that doesn't entirely rely on food as my dog is easily distracted and doesn't always pay attention to food. He only pays attention when I have human food to feed him for treats but then he almost always has diarrhea afterwards so I don't like using it. When I don't use human food he doesn't pay much attention to me or what I'm asking him to do.
They put on a great Scentwork trial this weekend. Everyone was friendly and helpful and their judge lineup was GREAT!
They are the REAL DEAL! So friendly but make you work hard to earn your certificate. Very knowledgeable too! Sofia and I had a great experience and we want to go back for agility training sometime soon.
This is a great place to get several different levels of training for you dog. They are very patient in working with all varieties of dogs. I have had 3 dogs that I have trained through this facility and they have been wonderful. They are very reasonable priced.
Great dog obedience classes. For dogs at various stages. Includes play and working yards.
Our puppies love socializing and we are being well trained
They take care of there animals
Amazing group of people.
Terrific training program.
Dog diggin
We had a great experience here!! We left our 3 dogs (11 year old, 2 year old, and 8 month old) with them for 4 days and they loved it. They keep the dogs in a large shed that is temp controlled and VERY clean. They have a huge area outside to run and play that is kept mowed and clean. They let them out regularly to run. The couple are wonderful and treated our dogs like their own. They greeted our dogs so sweet and were very patient with them, as they were all nervous! When we came to pick them up they were all three happy and clean. They gave us our leftover food and had used the treats we left. We will definitely use them any time we need boarding! Would highly recommend!!
I've used Golden Oaks a few times now. Very friendly owners. My two dogs always seem well cared for, however, the first time I brought them I brought them both their new beds, and they were returned to me completely tore up! And they both smelled. I thought I'd give them another try and The other couple times they weren't smelly, thank goodness. But I just left them for 10 days and both of them are sneezing like crazy and have a funny cough. I think they both have kennel cough! I'm not happy about this at all! I didn't notice it until I got them home. I feel so horrible for them.
Mom and pop, very nice people. I will definitely go again when I need to board
They wait until the day you drop off to make you sign a release form stating they are not reliable for injuries while staying there. I checked on my dog several times and was told that she was fine. The day of pick up she had missing hair on her snout along with dried old blood, sliced open chin from wanting out of the chain link kennel so bad and reaked of urine. I left food and snacks none of which looked like had been touched. Nice people but not impressed with their care for my baby.
They are amazing. My dog loves going there and is always well taken care of. Very clean facility and lots of running and playing area
We left 3 dogs here for a week over thanksgiving 2021. They have a 1 acre yard they get to run it. The dogs seemed well taken care of, I’m not sure what some of the other reviews are referring to, but I’m sure some dogs take better to bring away from their owners.
We left our dog for a weekend last March. She was wet and smelled like urine and was so sick. I do not recommend this kennel.
Kennels were clean. Curtis took care of Brutis like he was his own. Definitely will take Brutis back.
Our fur babies stayed here for over a week and they were very well taken care of! Will use this place again!
I was very reluctant to leave our dogs there once I saw where they would be staying when we came and pick them up they look like they have not eaten the are the owners try to charge us more than what we were supposed to be charged and it was just absolutely filthy I will never do that to my dogs ever again
Horrible experience! We dropped our border collie off for the weekend and it should’ve been a red flag when they would not let us go back to see where she was going to be staying. However, we went ahead and left her since they insured us that we could call throughout the weekend and check on her. We give them complete instructions, feeding, etc. in reference to Daisy Mae and then we went on our way. Several times throughout the weekend we had tried to call to check on Daisy Mae however no one answered the phone. This was frustrating the whole weekend as We are very close with our baby girl as I’m sure most of you are. Sunday rolls around and it’s now time to go pick up Daisy. We are extremely excited to see her. Daisy‘s personality is the same. She is extremely excited to see us when we have been away. My wife is the one who actually goes pick Daisy Mae up from Remi‘s and she was barely moving moping very slowly. Almost as if she was drugged. Her bag of food that we had give her for the weekend was completely full untouched so she hadn’t been fed at all, not sure if she had even been watered. When my wife and Daisy get home, I just knew Daisy was going to run and jump up on the chair like she always does to greet me. No, this did not take place. She was barely walking into the house very very slowly and went and found a place and just laid down. She laid down basically for two days before this basically wore out of her. Now she is back to her rambunctious self, so I am almost certain something was given to her at that location. I am not sure of what, but I do know how my Daisy Mae acts on a daily basis. And she will NEVER I repeat NEVER Going back to Remi‘s again. Furthermore, after carefully examining Daisy’s Medication prior to dropping off as we always do. She had 21 trazodone for extreme anxiety that was given to her for the Fourth of July since she does not like fireworks. They were still in her bag, therefore my wife instructed Remi‘s to give Daisy Mae One (1) pill if she became extremely anxious. When we picked Daisy Mae up there were only 15 pills left in Daisy Mae trazodone bottle. The math only adds up to one thing. I would not recommend anyone to leave their precious babies with this facility.
Absolutely amazing place! We did the beginner and intermediate/advanced training and later tested for Canine Good Citizen all through this facility with wonderful results. Felicia is amazing with the animals and really takes care to help you be successful in the training classes. Our corgi goes to doggie daycare at least a few days a week and loves it! He knows what it means to “go to school” and is always so excited to head out the door in the morning. We have also had wonderful experiences with boarding our elderly and very anxious dogs. The staff are amazing and incredibly friendly. Prices are very affordable and well worth the money.
Great academy for dogs! We take our dogs here for boarding and grooming. We will be doing doggy daycare to get them socialized. Recommend giving them a shot. Grooming is affordable and well done also.
Edit: They now accept cards, they used to be cash/check only. My dog Bo absolutely loves coming here and the employees love the dogs, haven't had any issues except that he's really thirsty when he comes home. I bought the daycare $100 11 day package, and it's $25/night for boarding which are fantastic deals. I've also gotten the grooming (includes daycare), he got a bath and blow for like $40 and was super soft and clean. They only take new dogs on certain days of the week, and make sure you have all your pet's records.
Unbelievable! Excellent! We had a family member passing away in Colorado the ladies made accommodations for our little Cooper🐶 on short notice, so we could say our goodbyes, they treat our pup like their own, weather caused thousands of delays and cancellations of flights the sweet ladies at Remies assured us they would take care of our pooch 🐶 and told us they would love to have him stay a few more days. We insta carted some extra food over for our lovable little K9 and a few snacks and treats for the awesome puppy caregivers. This place is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend boarding, play dates and training your dog 🐕 here! 💯❤️🐕🐶👍 sincerely The Ray family thanks you for all of your comparison
My dog has severe separation anxiety, and as a husky mix he's very much an escape artist. When I found Remi's K9 for daycare, it was an answer to his needs, and my worries about him. While he had to take time to get adjusted, he's been so well taken care of and loved while in the staff's care. They care about the dogs safety and well being above all else, and it really shows. It's affordable, it's helpful, and I can't recommend them enough!
Had our daughters dog there for the weekend. Very friendly staff very clean facility, and her dog was taken very good care of. Will use Remi's again.
Remi is feeling great after her spa day 🧖♀️ will definitely be a new regular stop for us …
My dog and I both love Remi's K9 Academy! I love the training we recieved, my dog loves the daycare!! I felt at ease boarding my dog there, knowing she was being well taken care of and in a place with people she adores!
Took our dog to be groomed here and they did an excellent job! Took super good care of our fur baby and he looked amazing. Make sure you bring some cash to pay, they don't accept credit cards.
We've taken our dog to Lucky Dog since he was 5 months old! He loves to play with all his doggy friends, and we love Sue & Jody. We use them for daycare, grooming, and boarding. We trust them wholeheartedly, and feel like they're part of our family now!
It’s the best place in Joplin to board your dog(s) whether it’s for one day or when you go on vacation. They have suites for the furry friends where I’d sleep without problems. — They offer play days and excellent grooming! 😊🐾🐾 …
We love Lucky Dog They are family.. Every dog there is treated like royalty. The place is CLEAN and always a fun place for the dogs. Sue and Jody love what they do and it shows. After we got a little Cassie they were very helpful teaching us how to raise a happy, confident, behaved dog. Now that Cassie is no longer a puppy they are supportive of all her adventures.. I'm glad they are concerned and careful about thy dogs in their care, I know my dog is safe, and happy and socialized with other dogs from caring families who have well treated and behaved dog. I love that Jody helps out in the community with the therapy dog, Working at Freeman we love it when she brings her dogs in
We drove out to Lucky Dog to consider it for our pug for the upcoming weekend. As we drove in, the lady was outside performing some task. We asked if we could see the facility .She advised us in a decidedly unfriendly manner that she was busy doing whatever she was doing. We were told that we needed to make an appointment to come back. She would then consider whether she had room for another dog and whether she would board our dog. Hopefully Lucky Dog treats dogs better than customers (and potential customers), but one has to be concerned that perhaps they don't. We did not come back.
Would rate lower if I could!!!!!!1 I called to see about grooming prices. I informed them of my dog's breed and age and the lady literally laughed in my face and then told me to try someone else without referring me to anyone else and without asking me any information about what I wanted in terms of grooming. For all they know I could have wanted a simple bath or an ear trim! very low quality staff. would not recommend!!!
Very nice, friendly facility. Our dogs love staying here. Highly recommend Sue and Jody, they are great people that run a first class operation!
I’m not sure how they treat the animals but they are rude and have bad customer service. I called to inquire about possibly getting my dog in for doggy daycare and the rude lady that answered literally asked “what do you want?” Would not recommend at all.
I called to see about getting my dog groomed because he is shedding very bad . The lady that answered the phone was very short with me and told me that he needs to go to the vet ??? What really ! No he just needs a good groomer to get ahold of him but I wasnt able to reach one when I called this place !!!!
This is a really good place, whenever I say “doggy daycare,” my dog run toward the door, they always wanna go back.
They take really great care of our dog. Great all around services.
Had a wonderful experience. My dog (Avonlea-a mini schnauzer) was groomed here Friday morning. I'm very pleased with how they cared for her as well as the adorable cut they did! Thank you so much!
They did an amazing job! I was so nervous bringing in my Miniature Schnauzer puppy for her first visit to a groomer. But they were so patient and sweet with her that they made it a wonderful experience for my puppy. I’m so happy!
My dog Razz loved the place and staff very much. This boy of mine can be picky about things. He was a happy camper when I picked him up. I was gone a few weeks. The staff took extremely good care of him. I truly can't believe how happy he was being there. A very Special Thanks to Tabitha and the all the staff for all they done for me and Razz. Thanks again from Paul and Razz!!!
I am so happy to find Little Critters, they are so courageous, and friendly I was so comfortable here. It was my puppy Sadie’s first cut and grooming session. She looks so gorgeous! Talking to everyone here it felt like being with close friends and family. Thank you all so much. Before and after pictures, just a cutie patootie ❤️
Shout out to Tabatha and her crew! Little critters is awesome! Very clean. Very Zen! Her grooming is awesome. Wouldn't take my pets anywhere else!
I have been taking my Lucky to little critters for going on 10 years. They are the best and take their time with him because he doesn't like grooming lol. Very pleased with Tabatha and the girls!😘 …
Tabitha & Dawn did an amazing job of taking care of our 3 fur babies!! They’re very reasonably priced, always positive and cheery, sent us pictures of our pups without us even asking, bathed and groomed all 3 dogs, and were incredibly kind and accommodating when our travel plans got changed last-minute! Boarding your fur babies can be stressful, but these ladies did an excellent job of taking care of our doggos as if they were their own. Thank you so much!! We’ll be back for a 3rd time whenever we plan our next trip! 🤗
They did really good with my puppy. This was her first grooming and she did pretty good and they were patient with her. They were fantastic with here.
I have a adorable toy Yorkie I normally get a teddy bear cut on. I had a friend pick him up and when he got home he had basically been shaved and his face was comepletly messed up and I’m fixable. They should be ashamed. My poor puppy is depressed and freezing with no hair
Knowledgeable and trustworthy to provide good quality grooming for my pups. We will be back!
I recently boarded my dogs here and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! Leaving my babies behind was hard—I missed them like crazy—but the team here made all the difference. They sent daily pictures and updates that kept me connected, which was a huge comfort. My babies were so loved and well cared for, and I could tell they truly bonded with the staff. They didn’t just look after them—they loved on them. It was obvious my babies felt right at home, and seeing them so happy and at ease gave me incredible peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend boarding their dogs here to anyone who wants their pet in a safe, warm, and loving environment. Thank you to everyone who cared for my fur babies.
Using King Style was an absolute blessing. The pictures show our dog loved his time there. The owners are people you want to know. Really good people. The online booking and payment made the transaction super easy. Thanks King Style!
Our dog Stryker has separation anxiety and is usually visibly sad or refuses to eat while in boarding, as he is used to staying home with his parents. This is his first time at King Style boarding. While he was here, he ate like normal, was very social with the other dogs. I loved the personalization of the photo updates. I can see from the smile on his face that Stryker was cared for, and he felt loved and comfortable even away from home.
Very impressed with the care they gave my Bo Bo! Very kind and professional staff! Even though we only had to leave our pup for a day they sent us pictures of him playing! Love how much they cared for my boy! We will be back soon!
Before King Style, I had never in my 82 years left a dog with a kennel. My Susie has now been in their care multiple times and I couldn't be more pleased. She wags her stubby little tail every time I drop her off. Thank you to all the staff who take such loving care of my baby.
We took our girl Oakley at Kings Style Dog Boarding. She was there for 7 days. It was the first time we had ever left her that long. We are truck drivers and she is a trucker dog. So she is always with us. We were going out of town, and needed a facility in short notice. They got back to me quickly and was able to get my girl in. They sent pictures daily which eased my mind, as we had never left her for such a long period of time. We requested a bath and nail trim before pick up. At pick up she smelled great and not like a boarding facility. We will definitely bring her back. We appreciate the excellent care that was given to our baby girl.
Wow! First time taking our babies to the boarders. Terra and Skylor were absolutely amazing. Our dogs are not very socialized, so I was worried how they would react to them and other dogs. With their patience, love and gentleness they had a great week. We will absolutely be back. Hands down the #1 place I would recommend for boarding! Thank you!
It was hard to board our dog for the first time, but King Style Dog Boarding made it much easier! The daily messages with pictures showed us that our girl was happy and getting plenty of love and care while we were away. We will be returning next time we leave town. Highly recommend!
Absolutely love this place! Kenobi and Olive always get excited when we get close and always have a blast. They get the best care and exercise. It is their home away from home! Highly recommend!
I, but more importantly my dog, loved this place!!! It is very obvious the staff love what they do. My dog might have been almost as happy there as if she had been home. They take extra care with medical records, including a fecal exam, which most places do not require. This tells me how strict their standards are and that is a great thing in my book. They keep you updated with pictures and texts. Poppy will be back!
We've always loved Deborah and the staff at the Pampered Pooch who care for and groom our 4 poodles. We drive all the way from Nevada!! Now they've added Jim and his excellent dog training services and we're equally impressed with him. He has given us tools to help manage our little herd... sit, down, place, wait, leave, calmly walking on a lead, public socialization... and I find myself thinking, "what would Mr. Jim do?". We will continue working on the skills we've learned during our time with Jim.
Jim Smith done an amazing job with Daisy Mae and I in our first obedience class! Jim is retired militarily and very knowledgeable with training your pet. He has had extensive training and his background speaks for itself. Although Daisy Mae and I took the course because she was having just a couple of nuisance issues I could not break. Jim through his patients and experience shed some light on some very insightful training that will be very useful going forward. I am very amazed with this six week course that watching all the dogs from day one to graduation day how far they at all came was super amazing! However, I know it takes repetitive structure to keep your pets training a positive instead of a negative! This could not of been possible without Jim you’re teaching us the basics that you did. Daisy Mae and I do look forward to taking your advanced class sometime in the future! If you want to get positive effective training for a very reasonable price, I strongly recommend Jim Smith with Pampered Pooch Day Spa!
Well, where to begin, Ollie was very reactive to people walking near him (lunging/growling/trying to nip) especially when we were around, barking uncontrollably at anyone who would come into the house or even the doorbell ring/knocking on the door. Jim came out and assessed the situation and said he could fix the problem, and that he did. He worked with Ollie for the first few days. Taught us how to properly correct him and reward him. I think he struggled more with teaching us than Ollie haha but he was very patient and helpful with all of us. Now, Ollie is a changed dog. We can walk him without him pulling and trying to lunge and bark at any moving thing. All of us enjoy walking a lot more now. The barking at the doorbell and people coming into the house is under control. Overall, it was a good experience for us and our dog thanks to Jim.
Daisy my lab and I attended Jim’s training class. My life became very hectic during this 6 week period but we continued the classes. Daisy absolutely loves Jim. She came out of the class a bit calmer and now I can walk her without getting my arm ripped out of socket😂. I highly recommend the classes. My only regret is that I didn’t start her at 6 months instead of over a year old. Also the training facility at Pampered Pooch is so nice and roomy and clean! You don’t get hit with dog odors when you walk in but nice clean light smell of bleach. I am considering using them to groom my labradoodle.
Jim at The Pampered Pooch worked with my dog Hermes for just a few weeks and the difference is night and day! Hermes was VERY skittish around other dogs to the point where he couldn’t be around them. In just a few sessions, Jim changed that. He was able to walk on leash with Jim’s dog without any issues. We are so appreciative of the hard work he put into our training and Hermes loved him. Thanks Jim!
Wonderful place all around for grooming and for training - my service dog Sandy is top notch thanks to Jim and always treated like family when getting groomed thanks to the staff
Jim Smith did an excellent job with our puppy Maggie, a mini goldendoodle who was a little crazy and out of control at first. He had her calm two minutes after he started working with her. She loved working with him and he was extremely knowledgable and helpful. He had her doing the most important commands within the first four sessions. We highly recommend him!
I hired Jim to do private lessons with my sweet but wild Bella. While smaller than he normally trains, he did wonderful. Our last season was today and even though we are done, he will help me with any tune ups as needed. And Bella loves her “treat guy”, so I’m sure we will stay in touch!
We have used Deborah for grooming for several years. So when Bailey joined our family and needed training it only made sense for us to go to Pampered Pooch that we trusted! I am so glad we did! Jim is amazing with his skills of training. He is top notch! Bailey has become such a better dog in 6 weeks time. Now I have the knowledge to continue working daily to reinforce what she has learned! If you have a dog in need of training, Jim Smith is the one to do it!
Jim Smith was a "God send." I thought we were going to have to get rid of our 80 pound puppy. She was a grouchy hard headed girl. Jim worked with her and taught me how to control her. The change was so dramatic that when we went to the vet for shots he ask if we had given her some Marijuana. She behaves in public and is pleasant and attentive around the house. I highly recommend this trainer. Can't thank Jim enough.
Started taking my dog there about a month ago. She is going to be there for about a week. This place comes highly recommended from several friends that have animals and they've been taking their animals there for a while. Great looking place, great people, very friendly. My dog seems to love it when I bring her home she is wore out.
I can honestly say when no one else would help take care of my fur babies when we had a family emergency and need, this is the ONLY place in the Neosho, MO area who jumped to help me out. Not only were they accommodating, but polite and very professional. I now call them my puppy's home away from home! Thank you all!
Dropped my boys off while we were in town just for the day. Everyone we talked to were super friendly and accommodating to us. Jim and Manchas had a blast. Would HIGHLY recommend.
All Dogs Dream helped facilitate the adoption of my dog, Shadow, and made the process simple and easy! I had to fill out a form and I was able to call the adoption director, Anna, and ask as much questions as I needed. Since I was coming from a distance, I was also able to video call and see how the dog was in action! They were also kind enough to hold my dog for me after a deposit, which made the process less stressful for me as I could plan accordingly! Highly recommend adopting from them and so happy to have my Keeshond in my life.
“Spectacular!!!” Says Moose the 150 lb baby English Mastiff. “I’m spoiled every time I visit. I’ve made great friends.”
We came here to adopt our sweet little boy pug. The process was easy and smooth. The staff is very friendly and professional. We were so impressed with their whole operation. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
This place is so great. Our dogs love it there and they love our dogs. Since they have started to go there, they have become more calm around other dogs and calm at home.
I took my dog here recently for day care and it went great. My dog had a blast and this place is very clean. Staff is very friendly and loved to have my dog back again in the future. Highly recommend !!!
We absolutely love All Dogs Dream! Our pup is happy and loved. Great people that work there. I don't trust any other place!! And fun treats.
The facility is always so clean, friendly and knowledgable staff, very happy, safe, well taken doggies.
We enrolled our two dogs (8 months + 3 years) in Josh’s group class program and so far it has been amazing! We meet 1-2x a week and learn new skills each week and revisit what we previously learned. This class does such a good job of teaching not only our dogs but also us on how to train them the proper way. Definitely recommend the group class!
I’ve never been so happy with a service before. We got a puppy and totally were out of our league as to how to get her behavior under control. So I looked for help and that’s when I found whyte dog academy. And if I’m totally honest I wasn’t so sure the training was doing any good. I thought maybe our dog was a lost cause. But then we did the follow up in home training and I was blown away. It was like a light switch. Our dog totally respected Josh and her behavior went from an unruly puppy, to a puppy who obeyed all my commands. Yes, it took some time and consistency but now our dog is the best, most pleasant dog I’ve ever had! I highly recommend whyte dog academy if you need help training a dog with a lot behavior issues. It’s worth every penny!
I initially enrolled my dog into daycare at Whyte Dog Academy following a bad experience at another facility. The way the entire staff interacts with all the dogs that attend daycare is amazing. You can tell that they love what they do and you just can feel that your dog is in good hands. I had read about the training programs offered and I was skeptical but after several conversations related to my concerns I opted for the 3 week Day Academy. That was the best decision I have ever made. It’s like I took one dog to training and brought a different dog home. Thank you Joshua and all the staff! They are the best!
I can’t thank Joshua and his team at Whyte dog academy enough! My dog, Moose, did a 5 week board and train and he has come out a new dog. He used to be very reactive towards other dogs, not a great leash walker and they have made him an amazing dog! The reactivity is gone and he can walk completely off leash now. They helped me gain confidence back in my dog and we both are so happy with the structure they gave us!
Whyte Dog Academy just does it right. Period. We had a consultation for our loveable yet stubborn Rottweiler, Sadie, and ended up doing the complete obedience board and train. Joshua made a point to learn our specific problems and needs in terms of Sadie's obedience. You can tell he genuinely cares about dogs and the results of their training. And the results of Sadie's training have been amazing. We're blown away sometimes. She follows directions and is very attentive to us now. Walking her is a dream! No pulling, lunging, barking, and she stays safe. She will ignore a nearby cat or rabbit with a simple "leave it". The peace of mind that we have now is just priceless. I had a hard time committing to paying for dog training, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that I have no regrets. All of the perks that they offer after training are a bonus. It's so worth it.
Today we were looking for a dog trainer in the Joplin, Missouri area and came across Whyte Dog Academy. We needed someone to help us in better understanding our dogs behavior. Joshua Whyte met with us and we are so thankful for the opportunity and time he made for us. Joshua guided us with great care for our blue heeler and wonderful patience through the free consultation. We received very helpful direction and understanding of our dogs behavior. 🐕 Thank you Joshua for all your help looking forward to training with you! 🙏
These trainers are amazing at what they do, they’re knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I had a great experience with them having my puppy trained and was amazed by how quickly a 12 week old puppy could learn and pick up pretty much everything. I feel confident and comfortable with my dogs in their hands because they are a business full of people who are trustworthy and passionate about what they do. Their jobs don’t end at training nor when you no longer have sessions with them, they continue to educate the public and truly just want what’s best for all dogs.
We are SO thankful for Whyte Dog Academy!! Two of our dogs recently completed training with Whyte Dog. Two weeks ago a board broke on our fence in the back yard and they got out while I was getting ready. After running out to the front yard and not finding them, I ran to wake up the kids to help me look. I left leashes for them and I got in the car to go check the road behind us in case they ran through the woods that direction. They weren’t there. Our son was in the woods and not finding them either. I came back into our neighborhood and parked near the entrance and started walking toward our house yelling for them. They came out of the woods on the opposite side excited as could be. I called “come” and they came to me immediately. But I didn’t have any leashes! My car was over a block behind me and the house over a block ahead of me. We started for the house. They started to run off again but I called them back and had them go into the down position for a minute. This got them to calm down and let their adrenaline slow down. I then called “heel” and they walked all the way home by my side. I released them at the side of our yard and they ran to our son who was waiting by the porch. THANK YOU Joshua and all those at Whyte Dog for the wonderful training. It was a life saver for us!!! If you need training, this is the place to go!!
My dog came home with kennel cough and fleas, and yes I keep him on prevention, his seresto collar was mysteriously missing when I picked him up and he had numerous fleas, plus it cost me around 200$ at the vet to treat the kennel cough... I'd go somewhere else!
The knowledge and customer service here are absolutely unmatched! You get the most professional treatment with a genuine personal touch. Can’t recommend them highly enough!
I truly don't know what I'd do without Dave and Alicia. They take awesome care of our 4-legged babies. We've been using their in-home pet sitting services for just about 2 years (since relocating to the Joplin from Denver, Colorado). From the first moment I met Dave I knew he was the perfect choice for our in-home pet sitting needs. Both he and Alicia love our dogs like they are their own. I will continue to recommend Dave and Alicia to anyone in need of their services. Thank you Dave for everything -- I know our pets are well taken care of when being cared by you!
Boarded our 3 girls with Dave & Alicia for 4 nights. When I picked them up this morning, they were super happy. It's obvious that they were very well taken care of. We are new to the area and relieved to find someone to take care of them when we travel.
My fiancee and I boarded our two dogs at For Pet's Sake and we were very happy with their service. I think our dogs were even happier to be able to run around in a 10 acre fenced area! We will definitely bring our dogs here again.
I contacted For Pets Sake about boarding my 2 dogs for five days. I met with Mr West and toured his facility. We talked at length and I liked him and his facility. The day I was to leave town. I called him as I was instructed to do, no answer. I called once more then decided I would just take my dogs to his facility/house. Couldn't find anyone. I returned home and called again still with no answer. I ended up having to call around and board my dogs last minute with someone else. And I was 3hrs behind on travel. I never even got a return phone call.
Love Alicia and Dave! Wouldn't trust anyone but these two to care for our furbabies!! One of our dogs is a beast and she just loves it there!! Highly recommended!!
Alicia and Dave took such gentle, loving care of our senior coonhound, Lucille. We will never forget them and look forward to bringing our young coonhound to them as well.
Duke loves going there and Dave and Alicia treat him like their own dog. Lots of room to run and play!
Love this place my 3 dogs love them sweet people
This is a Road and not a dog named Pete
These people are amazing. My dog does great here. We've used them the last few years when we went on vacation. Daisy was happy to go home, but smelled good, and did not seem unhappy to have been.
We took a long week end out of town and had our puppy stay the weekend. Drop off was easy and pick up was just as easy! Pricing was also really good! He was happy as ever when we came back! I texted during the stay checking on him and she replied promptly with updates!! I'd highly recommend!
They provided great care for our Collie, Ozark. He had an indoor/outdoor run area. Ozark was clean when we picked him up. He was able to use a doggy door to go outside as needed. The kennels are air conditioned as well. I love this place!
We really enjoy taking our dogs to "The Dog House on Apple Road" and so do our dogs! You can tell that they truly love doing what they do. Max and Bella get all excited as soon as they figure out where we are headed. Prices are fair and kennel is extremely clean and organized.
Amazing people and clean place for our Buddy dog. He loves being there and you can tell they care about the animals they keep. They are also so great to work with us on last minute needs.
Loved the way they treated our two dogs. They looked spectacular after grooming.
Be warned this place does not count time like most boarding facilities. Got charged two days ($50!!!!) for my dog to be there for 24 hours. And the only reason she was even there for that long was because they only allow drop offs and pick ups during certain times of the day.
I boarded my dog here and it waz great experience. I felt very comfortable leaving him in their care. He made many new friends and was very well taken care of.
Super friendly staff, great accommodations for all types of dogs
Excellent facility. Great staff. Highly recommend
