It was evident from the updates, videos and photos Tsu-Yin sent that Nolie was not just well-cared for but also received plenty of attention, playtime, and love. Nolie was happy and content when I returned and the apartment was in perfect order, with freshly washed towels and bedding. Tsu-Yin even left a vase of flowers and a note. Val and Steve were DREAM petsitters, and you should not hesitate to trust the care of your pets and home to them. Their communication prior to and throughout the stay was top notch, including detailed notes from each day about when they watered plants, and new restaurant recommendations they discovered .They showed up to our front door like pros with doggie treats in their pockets already, and our pups were immediately smitten with them. They left the home immaculately clean even when we told them not to bother, haha. We had a lovely meal with them upon arrival and enjoyed getting to know them on a personal level- would love to visit with them again! Val and Steve- thank you again SO much- it was a treat to know our pups were in such good hands! Enjoy the rest of your trip back to the east coast!

Alvertra was patient with changes to our dates initially and this was much appreciated! She was excellent in communicating with us about when, where, why and how. She was a lovely conversationalist and was interested in and cared for our girls right from the beginning. We received photos daily and could tell the dogs really responded with trust, though we did not meet Alvertra in person before her arrival. Our home was well cared for and we appreciated the excitement Alvertra conveyed about having the Sit. She would always be welcome back to stay with our girls. This was our 3rd sit with Lisa. She is a consummate professional! She went way above and beyond on this sit, as she had to deal with a tropical storm while we were away. There’s no one I would feel more comfortable with leaving my home and fur baby with in a weather emergency than Lisa! She had to prepare the house for severe weather, and she handled everything calmly and kept us well updated. She even had to spend the evening in our closet with Zoe due to tornadoes in the area.

We feel so fortunate to have had Alex & Jason sit for us. They took impeccable care of our 1 yo weimaraner and herd of 6 llamas/alpacas. We enjoyed seeing their updates from the farm while we were away. Their daughter was so adorable and her joy and comfortability around the animals was awesome to see and witness. We have no complaints about Jason and Alex as sitters and would love to have them back in the future! They were good communicators, kind, and respectful. We really enjoyed getting to know them the night before the sit and felt 100% comfortable leaving them with our farm. Highly recommend them to other hosts!

Pippa was a big fan of Mae . I realized after I left, that I left some linens in the washing machine, so I needed to ask Mae to put them in the dryer and fold when finished. She did that, no problem. Mae happens to live a few blocks from me, so, easy for any last minute trips out of town, lucky for me.

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Abi and David were FABULOUS pet sitters during our 5-day trip. They were devoted and fun dog walkers, park-goers and ball throwers. They communicated well and sent pictures. Absolutely Incredible.... I will not lie, I was hesitant because David did not have any pet sits before this one (gotta start somewhere) but because he did the background check I decided to contact him. We had a great phone conversation and the decision was made. He came to my house the night before I was leaving to learn all the ins and outs of taking care of my fur babies and then put himself up in a hotel for the night before the sit date. The next day he came over in the morning to learn a few more details before I left. I could not have chosen a better house sitter for my 2nd house sit . David communicated with me daily, sent pictures and we spoke via facetime. My little guy was feeling sick when David started and with diligence, love and kindness he was able to get my little guy eating again and feeling better. I would invite David back into my home over and over again but I am pretty sure he is going to be in high demand. Thank you David for everything!
