Laura stepped in for us on short notice after another house sitter broke their agreement and cancelled a few days before our departure. She had provided excellent care before for us, and was excellent again! Our cat was incredibly happy and lets Laura rub his belly (we can't!), and she took care of the house immaculately. I loved having Kate here at my house and would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter. She came for a visit the day before I left on my trip. We had a great visit and Kitty and I had a chance to get to know her. I could see that they bonded right away. While I was away, Kate send pictures and even a video of Kitty playing with her new toy (she actually gave her two new toys). Kate also took care of watering my deck and porch plants, and did many other household details that I hadn't even thought about. She must have noticed that I collected owls, because she left me a lovely card, with an owl, painted by a local artist, that I plan on framing. This was totally unexpected and thoughtful. Yes, I would definitely recommend her.

We came home to a clean house and a happy dog! Overall communication was a bit lacking but I also didn’t set proper expectations ahead of time, there was one thing missed in the welcome guide and that was to leave him in the kitchen when gone, he was not boxed in when we got home. But otherwise everything was well taken care of and she arrived and left on time.

We were fortunate enough to meet with Monica before we left for our vacation. We showed here around and introduced her to our cats. She bonded so well will all of them! She even had little Sassy on her shoulders which Sassy had never done with either me or my husband! She cared for our 3 cats and watered the plants. She sent updates and photos of the cats. It snowed about 7 inches or so and she shovel the entire driveway! Would I ask her to sit again? YES!

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Kyle was a great house sitter and pet sitter for us. We had a good dialogue prior to him sitting for us, and we also did a short walkthrough the week before. Kyle formed a great bond with our dog Charlie and also took good care of our rabbit Poppy. A couple of minor issues came up with systems in our home due to an unexpected power outage, and Kyle was quick to connect with us and then was able to work 1:1 with the service providers to resolve the issues. David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. He exercised Tosha in the neighborhood and local parks, and obviously enjoyed her company. Our house was spotless and extremely neat when we got home, which is always welcoming after a long trip.
