Bark is truly the place to go with your pups! One of my dogs has a ton of energy and always comes home exhausted from daycare or when we board him. Our other dog has stomach issues as well as high anxiety and requires medication and watching over. The staff at Bark do an amazing job of making sure he is well cared for and gets whatever medicines he may need. They truly get to know your dog. They are great at communicating with us and sending photos of our dogs having a great time. We recommend Bark to anyone we know with dogs with absolute confidence.

We couldn’t be happier with our first boarding experience here. Our dogs loved the staff and daily walks around the pond. They treat the dogs like their own. They keep the facility clean and have made many upgrades and renovations since buying the facility from a previous owner. Our dogs came home happy and with no issues. Our new boarding place in Berlin, close to Home, with great people.

The staff are the best. They love dogs and really make sure each one is comfortable and happy. They truly care. The outdoor daycare section is very nice with different obstacles and water sections.

Milo had a great week there. Staff is very friendly. Lots of upgrades coming! We will definitely be return customers!

First time using Bark Resort and I was honestly nervous as the kennel we usually board at was full. Staff at Bark Resort was very friendly, and our furry family member Freckles came home happy. The walks included in the nightly rate are a great added bonus. I did bring him for a half day of daycare in advance so he knew the scent when we brought him to board. Thank you to all their staff. Would highly recommend and I would use again. People there are wonderful.

My dog Rosie goes to daycare here 3 times a week and I board her occasionally. The people are wonderful, they know us by name and really care about the dogs. I know Rosie is well taken care of here! The prices are affordable and the facility is nice as well!

Do not bring your dog here. I brought my dog here and it looks Ike he got the mange when I picked him up after just week

My dogs absolutely love this place! All the people there are such animal lovers and it really shows in the service. They know my dogs individually, and give detailed feedback as to how each one did each time. I love it when I see their pictures on Facebook having a good time, too! I'd happily recommend River Run to anyone.

Our puppy loves it here! Maria and Jackie are awesome, and she's always happy to see them, and go play with other puppies. She didn't like her first bath very much, but I'm sure she'll get used to them in time!

My dog loves the place. She sprints to the front door as soon as she gets out of the car. Very friendly staff that takes good care of our hound. The added bonus is she sleeps for a full next day because she is so tired from playing. In addition, the dog taxi service if I get stuck at work and overnight dog care from Mike Murphy has been an added convenience that makes going away much more relaxing knowing our dog is in good hands

Great people. Nice place. Great price. The only problem is that my dog ended up with abrasions on her paw. I had her veterinary check her paws, and they said it is from running on a hard surface like cement or concrete. Like I said, they are great.

These guys do a great job! Each morning the staff is super happy and energetic when we bring our French Mastiff Gordon in each morning. Very fair prices all the way down the line and they provide lots of services...like grooming and even a doggie taxi. Good job A+!

I have been sending my dogs to Paw Play for many years. Jenn has always been amazing with her support and assistance. Mike can always be counted on with a moment’s notice. My dog loves Devin and Jena and Michelle so much as well as all the staff that I never have any worries when I bring her there. Most days when I pick her up she wants to stay because she is having so much fun! I would (and have) recommend them to anyone!! Such a great place!!

River and Griff have been going to Paw Play weekly for a number of years! The owners and staff members are extremely friendly and caring. River and Griff have learned a lot of social skills and get along better with other dogs because of this experience. Our dogs are always excited to go and tired when we pick them up! Just the way we like it! We also appreciate all of the photos they post! It's exciting to see what our pups are doing while away from home.

We have been going to Paw Play for years.. First started with grooming, which Melissa always does a great job,her and her staff are great with the dogs... we also have used the Mike to come and let our dogs out during day as well as taxi service to day care and to stay with our dogs while on Vacations.. our dogs love him and so do we!! What can I say about the day care.. our dogs love to go!! Jenn and all her her staff are awesome!! The “kids”, as referred to,have a great time and come home tired... We would be lost without them, Great Place.

Our 3 fur-kids LOVE Paw Play !!! We have been using their services for almost years . Daycare, pet taxi, pet sitting, and groomers ....we use all of these services and couldn't imagine trusting anyone else. Mike Murphy and Sara Oaks have both provided at home pet sitting and knowing they are with our babies allows us to have a stress free vacation, whether it is for just a weekend or 10 days they definitely keep our doggies happy !! Pet Taxi is perfect if they are at daycare and you are working late or going away for the day . You can feel at ease knowing your fur baby will be brought home safe and sound . Spa day !!!! Sara and Melissa always make sure the kids not only smell fantastic but that they also feel safe and enjoy bath time !!!! All the staff at Paw Play really care about all the dogs in their care . We HIGHLY recommend them !!!!!

I do not know what I would do without Paw Play! Over close to 15 years, I’ve never been disappointed! And, now that they provide training classes, taxi, pet sitting, and home visiting services in addition to daycare and grooming, it’s everything I need. The entire staff is 100% focused on what’s best for my dog. Jen, Mike, Jena, and John have all pet sitted for me. Their flexibility and willingness to help are priceless. It gives me great peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. I can’t say enough good things about Paw Play! If my dog could write a review, he would probably say he prefers Paw Play to home!

Have been sending our dog Charlie to Paw Play for about 10 months now and I could not be happier with the quality of care provided. He is picked up from our home and driven to Paw Play in the morning and is dropped off back home at night, after a full day of playing with other dogs (thanks Mike!). Mike is amazing and even cleaned up after Charlie had several accidents in his crate when we switched his food. So glad I found this doggie daycare so our pup could expend energy and be socialized while we are at work. Would highly recommend!

Look elsewhere. The guy, Tim, was arrogant, thinks he knows your dog better than you do and puts on a good front to get your business. He does what he wants and ignores any instructions left as reference. We aren't even sure if our dog ate as we had asked or if Tim even showed up as scheduled. The long walks he promised, didn't happen. A neighbor said he saw his interaction with our dog and was surprised that we trusted this guy with our pet. Unfortunately pets can't talk so we rely on others to be truthful. It's Unsettling to find out we left out pet in his care and what we were told, did not happen. Susan, the owner, Is delightful, and from another clients input, she is good with the pets, but for some reason, we ended up with him instead.

My cats totally love Susan! She walks in the door and even my most skittish one comes out, tail held high waiting to be stroked. Critter Sitters is a natural for pets and whenever we go away for a few days we know our cats will be cared for as well as we care for them by someone who genuinely brings out the best in all animals. I unhesitatingly recommend Critter Sitters of Newington!

Tim and Susan are wonderful pet sitters! They truly go above and beyond when caring for your pets and home. They treat them both with care as if they were their own.

Had such a good experience today for my dogs swimming lesson! Such knowledgable and caring staff. My Doberman sinks in the water, by the end of the lesson he was kicking all 4 feet! Can’t wait to continue and possibly do dock diving!

Had a great time at Millie’s first “Try It” session for dock diving! She loved it and both trainers were very helpful in their instruction. She did great and it made me so happy to see her do well!

I was very upset when I picked up my Rottweiler after my vacation. I was given one price when I left and an increase in price when I returned. When I questioned it, I was treated very rudely by the manager. She spoke to me in a very unprofessional manner.The manager mentioned numerous times that she is putting her daughter through college and can’t adjust price or give discounts. I requested that my dog receive an exit bath and she was returned with a horrible stench and had diarrhea. They did not specify why she had diarrhea. In addition, we called to let them know that our flight was delayed and they never shared that she had diarrhea. I will never put my dog there again and I don’t think they have good hygiene habits in their kennel.

I took my time composing this, as I was very upset initially. I was spoken to rudely on the phone and at drop off, but I let that go. I took my dog for the required 5 hour evaluation to board. My usual kennel I board her at every year had no more space, so I sought another option. I dropped her and assumed all was well. Upon my pick up of her 5 hours later I was informed she was never removed from the kennel due to her high levels of stress. I never received a call from them to have the option to pick her up. I asked why I wasn’t informed of her extreme distress and was met with literally no answer. She had a large cut on her nose, she and was ill for two days after. She boards every year and has never had an issue before, she is very social and goes to the dog park weekly. I can’t understand why I wouldn’t be informed of her panic when it went on for the whole 5 hours so I could choose to come get her. There was no explanation for the cut on her nose. I don’t know what happens there, but I certainly would not recommend.

I hurt my back , and have a yellow Labrador retriever 12 week old puppy couldn’t take care of him!!! Call Wagging tails. And they took him right in. Went to pick him up all I saw was a happy little puppy. they were great they checked with my vet make sure he had all his shots!!! Took him back today!! he couldn’t get in the door quick enough he just loves the staff I say five stars!!! Somehow it says for trying to get it to say five but definitely a five star

Went twice I will not go back I found a better place I travel an hr away. This last time we waited an hr appointment. The pool is still green algae, trainer stated that don't bring her ball she ll drink the water which make her stomach turn No in reality the green algae just for her being in the pool and her cleaning her selfafter wards she might have systems such as know diarrhea .cyanobacteria is poisonous and could be life threatening so please dont go to this place I found a better place where there is actually a private lesson for an hr where the pool is clean they have multiple other events they train there cheaper by 10 bucks there punctual. I can only imagine what the kennels look like at this wagging tails facility if what this pool looks like.and my dog is my service dog can't go anywhere hopefully when I go to my doctor s appointment she diarrhea s before going in to the va .

Rosa loved her stay here! I'll use these guys again! Highly recommend! When she came back home, it was a seamless transition. Like we never left. This place is the next best thing to staying at 'grandma's house'! So cool! Staff treated my little girl like she was family. I loved the photos and reports they sent daily. This feature was so beneficial to my piece of mind while away. I enjoyed seeing her smiling face playing with other dogs and making friends. Excellent social interaction they are promoting by mixing dogs based on personality and not size. This is a great place that understands how to treat our little fur babies. Its definitely not just a kennel. It's her home away from home. I'm considering using the daycare program to teach Rosie how to swim. We'll be back!

Hired for a week only showed up for two days, lost two cats, non-hired individuals entered our home, door unlocked, alarm broken, keys not returned so locks had to be replaced *documentation provided by police who arrived on site when arrived and home unlocked, dark and contents proved no one had entered for five days! Cugo was reprehensibley rude, unprofessional

Maximiliano had the best time of his life. Staff and owners were extremely attentive and amazing. I was not wrong when I decide to drive for 90 minutes to bring Maximiliano there for a few hours. I wish I could live closer so that we could bring Max every day. We LOVE this place.

We absolutely love The Good DoG Spot. All of the staff have loved our pups like they are their own. The facility is always clean and safe for our pup. One of our pups had a serious medical condition and they always accommodated her needs and communicated well with us regarding her days. Up until our sweet girl passed she loved going here. She would wiggle her butt all the way in the door. Our new guy loves his daycare days just as much as our sweet girl did, also does the wiggles all the way in. We are so grateful to have a place to send Comet for daycare and for boarding when we are away that we trust completely. Thank you so much.

Our 2y springer who has separation anxiety has been a fulltime attendee. He is happy and always clean! They have made a few accommodations for him w his issues. We are so happy w his care and they have truly saved our life! We still work fulltime.

They take good care of the dogs they watch. Our dog has been going there for almost a year now. And he loves going there The people who work there are very caring!

We have been boarding and taking our pup to daycare at The Good Dog Spot for the last couple of years and couldn't be more pleased! The owner and the staff all do a great job and are super responsive and flexible. They all really seem to like dogs and are knowledgeable about them as well. The system for reserving boarding is easy and quick. Our dog loves the days that he goes for daycare and comes home happy and tired from all his fun. I also appreciate that they keep us up to date with news and regarding any paperwork that they need from us. We feel really confident taking our pup to The Good Dog Spot. We know he is safe, happy, and well cared for!

Unbelievably great staff at the Good Dog Spot - all of the employees are amazing, special shout out to Lauren! We have been customers for several years for both day care and boarding and have nothing but amazing things to say about how much our beagle Daisy loves this place. We have recommended GDS to several friends and are so glad we discovered this gem. It's always clean, smells fresh, and offers lots of activities inside and out for the dogs. The staff are all professionally trained and genuinely show a love for dogs.

Great dog spot @ the Good Dog Spot. Employees treat and know the dogs very well. Facility is clean. The open environment assures that dogs get plenty of exercise, while also supervised (getting human attention, too). When I pick up my dog, she's happy, healthy & exhausted.

My dog has come to the Good Dog Spot for both daycare and boarding since he was only a few months old (he’ll turn 3 soon) and I’m pretty sure he would live here if I let him. As soon as the building comes into view he starts freaking out with excitement and nearly tears my arm off trying to get inside as quickly as possible. The staff is all very friendly and anytime I go away I have peace of mind that he is happy and well taken care of.

My black lab Juno has been going to The Good Dog Spot for years, from training, day care, boarding to play groups and grooming. The staff are excellent and it has been a great experience! Juno loves her home away from home!

My dog has been only with me since he was a puppy. I went to Best Friends and spoke to the man at the desk. He assured me they have experience with one person dogs. I left for New Hampshire with a measure of anxiety .....but returned 5 days later to find a bathed and relatively calm dog. Before I left I Made another reservation for November. I highly recommend them.

I e had my dog, Max groomed at Best Friends in Bethany quite a few years. Always had Katherine groom Max. She does such a fantastic grooming every time!!

Shannon is wonderful! She treats our dog like he is her own. She not only gives him the cutest haircut but she consistently communicates with us about his grooming.

We have used best friends pet hotel several times when needing to board our husky. He always has a great time and comes home well bathed and well rested! I feel confident leaving him for his own vacation when we are away.

We have boarded our dog Wally several times at the Best Friends Pet Hotel in Bethany, CT. Every time we receive a warm welcome. The staff is very friendly and care about our experience leaving Wally. AND they seem to love and care about Wally and his experience as well. We enjoy watching Wally on the cameras while we are away. The daily reports on Wally are so informative when we return. The grooming services at the end of Wally's stay is great as well. Highly recommend!

I have been taking both my dogs to Best Friends in Bethany for awhile now and always have a good experience it's hard to find someone that my nervous Chihuahua mixes trust, Kathryn is wonderful!!

Shannon and the staff at Best Friends always take good care of our pups. Especially our big dog who can’t get enough outside time always goes in smelly, covered in mud, and sometimes burdocks too…They come back smelling fresh, and looking sharp! Thank you!

Have been using Best Friends since 2014. It is a great place with great people who really care about your pets. I only have my fur babies groomed at the facility as well. Kathryn and Shannon are the Greatest. Never any issues with any of the services.

We full trust sending our dog here. He goes 1-2 times a week and gets so excited when we pull up. Owner and team members are wonderful!

Best boarding, the owner is so nice and all the staff have been great! They gave him a cute little scarf after his bath!

My dog is very attached and protective of me. He hates leaving my side and used to get severe anxiety with car rides. I tried socializing him with another daycare, but he wasn't happy about it. They were bigger and had more facility amenities, but he didn't want to go. When I started bringing him to my dog's daycare, things started to change. He started listening more often (he has gone through training, but he's very stubborn), he gets excited for the car, he's happier around strangers, and loves meeting new dogs on walks. He even tells me that he wants to go to doggie daycare (he gets his leash, and when we go outside, he heads to the car). When we get there and I open his door, he runs over to the entrance, full body wagging. He comes home happy and tired. Patty and the girls keep him and the other dogs safe, and he loves them and going to doggie daycare. I think that's the best a dog parent can ever hope for.

Corresponded with the owner to have my dog evaluated for the daycare services. The evaluation consisted of what breed of dog and how many days of daycare would be needed. Once disclosed what my dogs breed is (Boxer mixed with a mut, and a pit bull terrier) the owner stopped responding. I can only assume it was due to breed disclosure, which was confirmed through Embark DNA. Despite my dog being socialized and well trained, the owner chose to lead with prejudice, which reflects more on the business as a whole. Unfortunate to have this experience.

Very happy with My Dogs Daycare. My dog had a lot of anxiety about new people coming in contact with her. It was suggested by a trainer that we bring her to My Dogs Daycare to get her used to other people handling her and to tire her out. She always did great with other dogs so this was a great solution. We are so happy with the results! Katie (our dog) loves going there a few times a week. She used to tremble at the thought of getting in the car. When I tell her where we are going she jumps up and runs to the garage. Getting her in the car is so much easier now and she happily lets the staff take her by the leash and lead her to her friends. Very happy!

I have tried a few different daycares for my dog but none are quite like My Dog's Daycare. The owner gets to know you and your dog, and the staff is super friendly and knows my dog by name even though I don't live nearby so I don't go as frequently as I'd like! 4 stars because they stopped sending me invoices, even after I gave them $60 cash last time I went. I have no idea if I'm paid in full or owe anything!

My Dog's Daycare is a great place for a dog to stay and have fun all day long. And when dogs stay overnight, one of the staff members or Patty, the owner, sleeps over with them. How cool is that! I would highly recommend this wonderful and caring doggy-day-care!!

Great place! I have a Shih-Tzu and was kind of skeptical of the whole doggy day care scene with a toy dog. We visited a couple of places and I left each of them never wanting to send my dog there. I felt super comfortable when we walked into My Dog's Daycare and have been trusting them with our little guy for the past 6 months and have no complaints.They also have a Facebook page where they post photos and videos every day which is great to check out and see what the dogs were up to that day. I would highly recommend.

Don’t own a dog but I stopped by when I was running and ran out of water. The kind lady filled up my camelbak. I would definitely trust these people with my pets.

The staff is so incredibly friendly and welcoming. They treat my dog as if it’s their own! I’m so unbelievably happy that I was able to find a daycare for my puppy instead of leaving her alone at home while I work! The lobby is absolutely adorable and they offer so much to sell as a treat when you pick up your animal!

ly. I was looking for an indoor heated area for my dog to play in since it’s so cold outside. All three locations Wolcott, West Hartford and Newington all came up. They have the same website and the way it’s advertised makes it look like they all have this. When I got to Wolcott they said they didn’t have one and I needed to go West Hartford. When I got to West Hartford I was told they closed it down to have an indoor pool and told me to go to Newington. I decided to buy some treats since my dog had been in the car so long trying to get to these places. They couldn’t even ring me up without a supervisor. When she gets there I tell her the ordeal and that they should update the website. She said a lot of people have come in with the same issue. They are working on it. I get to Newington at 2:50 and the girl says they are closing in 10 min bc they are short staffed. I basically drove around for nothing. It was a Saturday. Their staff clearly doesn’t know much about the other locations and their hours don’t match what they advertise online. Very disappointing.
